I have received really quality, comprehensive, and compassionate care from this practice. Anna Pollard is my NP and she is lovely; I highly recommend her to anyone!!!The only thing is that they really don’t value your time; be prepared for extremely long wait times. I have personally experienced wait times in excess of 2 hours past my scheduled appointment time when I was on time. I recently also have been having so many issues getting someone to answer the phone to schedule a time sensitive appointment per my physician’s instructions. It is extremely frustrating and has made me consider finding a new practice despite loving my provider and receiving great care otherwise.
I would give five stars if not for the fact that I moved and before I did so, I signed the necessary paperwork to have my medical records released to my new doctors office. I have requested them and my new office has also requested them several times and we still havent gotten my records for the duration of my care with WGG. I absolutely loved my doctors and the care I received from everyone here but Im less than two weeks from my due date and my current doctor is having to run blood work and extra scans to get the information he needs to give me the proper care. Ive been trying to get the documents needed for a month now. Its unacceptable that I was told I would have no issues getting my medical records released to my new doctor but in fact its been a nightmare.I recommend the doctors here but I dont know how I feel about whoever is supposed to be getting my medical records forwarded.
Edited to update to 3 stars as of 9/30/24I have finally gotten this issue fixed. Im still mad that it was not taken care of properly for so long even after a year of complaints on my part. As a plus, they are no longer working with the same company they used to bill with before.Still love the doctors and nurses.Old review:I was a patient here for multiple years and the Doctors and Staff are very nice. However, Im now not a patient anymore due to their billing system. I am currently being harassed for more money even after proving my payments have been made. They have notes on my account about the balance being previously paid, but every couple months I get another bill again. Called billing department and doctors office multiple times to no resolve, this issues is ongoing at 1 year+.
My wife was a patient at this clinic during her first pregnancy. Here’s what my honest opinion.Positives:NPs and Doctors were very helpful, knowledgeable and caring. Scheduling appointments were never a problem. Other staff were courteous. If you are planning to deliver at Northside Gwinnett, you are already familiar with doctors who’ll probably there while delivery. Dr Desai and Dr Hyuen were absolutely amazing who also helped us deliver the baby.Negatives:You are lucky if they pick up your call which is very frustrating. 95% of times it will go to their voicemail and you’ll receive call back next day or they’ll just drop it. Wait time at the clinic is fairly long and many times we felt the appointment was rushed. Its a good clinic however I would research better options before going there.
I strongly advise against choosing this practice. The staff exhibits a profound lack of empathy, creating an atmosphere that feels unwelcoming during one of the most significant moments in a patients life. The front desk and scheduling team are particularly discourteous, making interactions unnecessarily difficult. Despite scheduling my appointment a month in advance, it was abruptly canceled at the last minute, and they made no effort to accommodate me with a timely replacement. This level of unprofessionalism is deeply disappointing.
We recently had a baby boy! Our experience at Women’s Group was amazing. All staff, nurses and doctors showed great professionalism and care for both mother and baby. Dr. Desai did a fantastic job giving us help throughout the journey and helped us with any concerns and troubles we had. She really treated us very well and we were so happy to have her deliver our baby boy!
I do not recommend this practice. The staffs lack of compassion is palpable, generating an environment that feels cold and unsupportive during such a critical time in a patient’s life. Both the front desk and scheduling teams are notably impolite, adding unnecessary stress to the process. After scheduling my appointment a month in advance, it was canceled at the last minute with no effort to reschedule in a timely manner. The unprofessionalism displayed is both frustrating and unacceptable.
My daughter was a patient with Dr. Iyoyo at this HORRIBLE place! My grandbaby wound up being a stillborn on Memorial Day. My daughter was a high risk patient due to her having a geriatric pregnancy and a prior miscarriage, and they treated her as though she was just another patient. They never called to see how she was doing afterwards and she couldnt even get an appointment to see them for a follow up. My daughter called and made an appointment, showed up and after she waited an hour they told her she wasnt even on the schedule. Absolute worst physician facility Ive ever been in contact with. Im getting my daughter a lawyer asap. My advice is to stay far away from this place!
The doctors and nurses are amazing. My problem is with the billing department. I’ve reached out milipule times about a refund check I am supposed to be receiving. I paid 1000 dollars for an appointment my insurance was supposed to cover. They said I would get a refund check after my baby was born. My baby is now four months old and I keep being told I need to wait. I am beyond frustrated.
Came with high expectations because I had my daughter back in 2019 with them. Called to get a quote and to schedule an appointment depending on the price I’d have to pay . Wanted an iud removal . Was told I’d have to pay 320 . So I made the appointment because I knew I could afford that by the time of appointment (no insurance) after they gave me my ultra sound which I was told I needed and was included in that price, they came and told me that I’d have to pay 190 more for the actual removal . While my pants were off ! Then they just brushed me off instead of trying to help me figure out a solution to fix their mistake. So I spent 320 and didn’t even get what I wanted done . I wouldn’t have made the appointment yet if I knew the real price . They’re screwing people . Now I’ll have to pay over 400 dollars more because it’ll be a whole different office visit and who knows if they’ll make me pay for another ultra sound . Seriously looking else where because that’s bullcrap ! Could I leave less than one star???
Do you love feeling rushed in and out of a medical appointment? Do you love dedicating over an hour of your week to get billing departments on the line? Do you enjoy having your concerns brushed aside with a *shrug* Hmm I dont know? Then Womens Group of Gwinnett is the place for you!For the surprise price of $200 (with a high-deductible Aetna plan) or $160 out-of-pocket (without insurance, assuming they dont tack on extra charges), you can get:1. A 15-minute birth control consultation billed as a 30-45 min appointment!2. A snarky nurse who gets frustrated when you need a question clarified!3. If youre concerned about how birth control is affecting you, or PMDD symptoms youre experiencing, and you want a treatment plan, expect... nothing! Will the NP ask any questions about your family historywith PMDD or anxiety disorders? Nope! Will they ask about current life events that might beaffecting things? Nope! Will they ask about possible nutritional issues? Nope! Will they refer you for bloodwork? Nope!Instead, youll get a shrug, an I dont know, combo pill birth control is supposed to help this stuff, a Lexapro prescription If you want? I guess?, and a referral to a scam online psychiatry practice! (search reviews of Thriveworks on Yelp and Reddit)4. The most exciting part is that the final bill is a surprise!!! Lets play The Price Is Right- how much does a rushed 15 min appointment with no pelvic exam or bloodwork cost? $100? $120? Nope, $200!!!! Do you want to find out how much this would cost you beforehand? That would ruin the surprise, silly!!!! The billing department has locked their mouths shut and thrown away the key anyway. If you love being screwed and women (NOT) supporting women, Womens Group of Gwinnett is your paradise!
The practitioners are good but they office receptionist especially lilly is horrible. I had to call in to confirm an appt that when i checked out was confirmed i was good. I called the clinic around 8:40-8:50 lilly states only 9:15 was available i expressed i live 40 minutes away wont make it in time she kept trying to force me to come in at that time even denied to reschedule and i asked several times to just have me in for next week since it was a misunderstanding from they end because i never was scheduled in for my weekly check. She put me in hold than hung up so than i had to call the clinic AGAIN TO TRY TO GET MY NEXT APPT. She had an attitude and kept interrupting me and said she will put notes i the system saying i declined the appt That she tried to book for 9:15 after i expressed i live 40 minutes away therefore i told her to make sure to put in her notes that i had to call in twice to confirm an appt that was never scheduled. But thank you to robin who was very helpful and helped me in the end after dealing with her rude co worker.
The medical care from the providers is pretty good. BUT and it’s a big but is the office staff is lacking. I asked for my files to be sent to two additional providers, one of which they work with regularly. When the first provider did not receive my records but this office assured me that they were sent, my husband had to personally pick them up and hand deliver to the other office. They were using the incorrect fax number and did not let us know that it failed. Only said they sent the fax. They gave my husband a log of when they attempted to send the fax. One was the day prior at 1130 am which is two hours after they called at 930 to say they sent the files. The other was while he was sitting in the waiting room. For the provider they work with regularly, they just didn’t send the records. When initial testing says you may have cancer, the last thing you want to deal with is stress because people are not doing things they said they did.Now when facing the need to send my records to a third different type of provider, I have little faith this will be an easy process.
I experienced my first miscarriage about a year ago, and Sydney was a huge help in understanding how common it was while being sympathetic & professional. I very much appreciate the staff taking time to help me in that moment of stress and terror.
Dr. Falkner is very attentive to my needs. The staff is friendly as well. Ive been going to this facility for several years and I am very pleased with the services I receive.
Pretty sad phone experience. I got a referral to make an emergency appointment to get a revision exam after a pap and the receptionist said they weren’t taking new patients until the next year. While I do understand the protocol, the lack of compassion or help made the call quite hard. It felt like I was talking to a robot. The news I got at my primary care was not something I expected, and I needed support. Their whole website looks all welcoming but to the receptionist, I was just another caller. Also what’s up with the hours? Maybe if they were open for another hour, they could take more patients.
DO NOT PREPAY!Theyve kept my $2,700 deposit for 4 months since my child was born!We have had two kids with the womens group. While the doctors are great, the billing department will convince you to prepay for delivery. Your insurance will likely end up covering most of it, and youll be stuck with other hospital bills while Womens Group holds your money. This happened with both of my kids!
I am unfortunately very disappointed with my visit to the Women’s Group of Gwinnett. I recently moved from out of state and have been looking for a gynecologist around Atlanta. I found this place online and had such a pleasant experience on the phone with the lady who helped book my appointment and get new patient details figured out. She was so nice! Because of this I had such high hopes. However, I left my appointment feeling very deflated. I saw a nurse practitioner and felt as if she just wanted to get me in and out. She didn’t listen to my history or even really listen to the root of my problem and the reason for my visit. She wanted to test me and send me on my way. This was 2 weeks ago and I still haven’t received any results! Results that I would’ve gotten in 15 minutes at the old doctor I went to! I really wanted to find a “go-to” gynecologist but unfortunately I will be looking elsewhere. I don’t want to speak on the doctors here, maybe I should’ve asked to be seen by one of them instead of a nurse practitioner but honestly the way I felt when I left, I’m not interested in returning.
Be careful when you prepay your prenatal & delivery care. My insurance covered almost all of it so now it’s been 5 month since I had my baby and I’m still waiting on my $3,500 refund check. Dealing with the billing department has been a nightmare. Every time I’ve called they gave me an excuse as to why I haven’t received my refund check and they are very rude to talk to. This is not what I wanted to deal with after having a baby!!
Awful awful place!! Nothing but a nightmare!!! If you call and get Thu-Leon Ngo (aka Lily) hangup and call back to get anyone other than her!!! Shes in desperate need of a new job because shes clearly unqualified to do this one. This Lily took it upon herself to cancel my appointment without my permission and next thing I know Im getting a dismissal letter, without any warning, without anyone reaching out to me first. They didnt even want to listen to me and I tried and tried to explain. I left so many voicemails I lost track. First of all its near impossible to get anyone on the phone, it will always be a voicemail. The manager, Robin Rowlins, not only ignores your voice mail but she will not reply, answer or give you a clear answer. For her this is business, not the care of you and your baby, as they claim. She doesnt care if you get thrown out at 28+ weeks pregnant without any provider. Its all business to her and if you dont comply with what she/this office says you are thrown out. So pretty much their way or the highway. This OB office clearly has enough patients to not care enough about you and your baby and kicks you out if you dont comply with their rules, no questions asked!. They will dismiss you from the practice as a patient without any notification!!!! Without first reaching out and letting you know that you are at risk for being dismissed. Having only been in the GA for 8 months, I have no where else to go to. This has been a nightmare of an experience and a big stress on me and my baby. This office should be reported to the Georgia Board and should be investigated for negligence. Also, they are withholding your medical records and will not send them over. I have tried multiple times and I still have not received them. I believe thats a violation.
If you have other options, go there. Everytime I come here its over 2 hours, the one doctor Ive seen in the 25 weeks Ive been a patient here was rude and had commented on my age which was completely inappropriate and uncalled for. Im disappointed with their new system. Everytime I have lab results it never shows up and I cant even look st what they are until I call and complain to see them. The busses are nice but thats all youll ever meet so if youre ok with delivering with someone completely unknown- come here!
I have found the DR for me for life! Dr. Falkner treats me with compassion and is present for my medical needs. The nurse, Janice, is absolutely the kindest. The front office staff are super friendly as well. I have not encountered one person there that hasn’t put a smile on my face. Highly recommend!
Dr. Falkner is truly amazing!! The surgery performed left my family peaceful and truly grateful for her work, efforts, and wonderful staff. Thank you all dearly we pray you all stay well in difficult times, and appreciate all you do to give families the desires of their heart. Amazing team here nurses are awesome. Thanks for the compassion and a listening ear!!This was a post from last year!!I just had a follow up appointment and still received OUTSTANDING service From both Dr. Faulkner and her staff. Best group of doctors and nurses I’ve ever came upon thanks for making our world greater and greater.
This is a great medical provider. My OBGYN is Dr. Falkner. She is an excellent physician who is informative and personable. I am new to Georgia and she has been my doctor since relocating several years ago. Dr. Falkner is attentive to the needs of her patients and takes the time to explain her medical recommendations and also address your questions. She has superb bedside manner.
Love this office! But the wait to be seen is very long. I hope this improves.
I came here for infertility treatment based on a referral from my family doctor, but she should have referred me to a different clinic.I never receive my blood test results and the receptionists words change every time I call. Sometimes they said I would do an ultrasound, sometimes they said no. No one could tell me what to do next, so I made an appointment and went in and was referred to another clinic. I was told to make a reservation since my data had already been sent, but why didnt they tell me at the time they sent my data? Maybe no one wanted to talk to me because I dont speak English fluently. It has been almost half a year since my first visit, but treatment has not even started or even the tests have been completed.I should have gone to another clinic.
Anna Pollard is one of my favorite healthcare providers. She is a professional with a personal touch and always checks up on other aspects of my life when I come in. She was able to tell me that I hadn’t taken a vacation in a long time on my last visit! I feel like I am her only patient! She is thorough but makes my visit as comfortable as possible! I brag about the care I receive from her which leaves other family members just a little bit envious. She is an asset to the Women’s Group and I hope to have her as my gynecologist for as long as possible.
Super unprofessional office. My mom had an appointment made over a month before. The week leading up to the appointment and the day of appointment, the office was texting reminders about the appointment constantly. My mom got there and paid her co-pay for this visit and the last visit she had. After taking her money, they let her sit there for over an hour without saying anything to her. Patients, who came in after her, were taken to their doctors as my mom was left waiting. Finally, she asked what the hold up was, and it turns out the doctor my mom had an appointment was doing a surgery. They didn’t have the decency to tell her and just left her waiting. The nurses didn’t offer to reschedule the appointment or even try to explain things to my mom but had the audacity to take the money for this current visit that wasn’t happening. We understand the Doctor’s surgeries or other appointments can take longer than anticipated, but it was the way this was handled was too unprofessional and inconsiderate of other patients.
I chose this place for my prenatal care after reading many positive reviews.Staff are all professional. The doctors and front desk always answered any questions I had.My FMLA documents were received quickly from the office when requested.Overall, it’s a great clinic.
I saw Anna on my visit. She was great! She was very patient, and what a sweet personality. This was my first time at this practice and I have to say it was amazing. I had been with my previous doctor 20 years, and I wished I would’ve wound this practice sooner. Every single person that I interacted with was so kind and professional. It’s a very busy office, but I was in and out in one hour… They are extremely efficient.
The reason I made an appointment was because I needed to address a cyst issue I’ve been dealing with for months, I stated that when I called and made the appointment. The nearest appointment was two months out, which was fine, I couldn’t find anything else for sooner than that. This was my first visit with this office since my insurance had switched, so I was aware I would need the basic exam and likely a Pap smear, which they did. The nurse was super late to my appointment, which would have been fine, but then my appointment was super rushed. I didn’t know my appointment was over until it was over. It felt like they were rushing through mine to not be late for the next one or something. They scheduled me a second appointment for a month later to address the cyst issue, which was what I had really hoped would have been addressed that day. I’ve already been waiting for months. Why ask me the reason for my appointment when I’m calling to make one if my reason isn’t going to be addressed. Everyone at this office was very nice though and I felt comfortable.
UPDATE: Office decided my check could be overnighted from ATL after I left a review. Gave a check to my husband saying it’s my refund… it’s only for $2,000. So now I guess I’ll send in the screenshots for the other $1,000 in charges they owe me.The OB’s are okay. Billing and insurance are a nightmare. Had to sign an OB agreement when I got pregnant and the front office said I had to prepay my OB fee for them to deliver my baby - saying that they always file first. Well a year later the hospital has filed first and billing is telling me that they have never heard of an OB agreement and I should never have prepaid. So I owe Gwinnett Medical $3,000 and this office is telling me I have to wait another 4-6 weeks to actually get a refund - after already waiting 3 months. No one ever checks the online portal messages and they don’t return calls. Not worth it if you want a smooth payment process.
I went to the Womens Group of Gwinnett after reading all the positive reviews, and I was not let down. Dr. Kimberly spent time with me to talk about my health and I felt that she really listened and gave good advice. In addition to the doctor experience, the staff at the front desk was efficient and polite. I will be using them again in the future.
I love Dr. Kimberly A. Huynh! She has been my GYN for years. She listens, that’s a biggie for me. She is patient, takes her time, and explains everything so that you can understand. The office is always clean and inviting. The staff members are nice and courteous. Just a great atmosphere overall.
Im so thankful for the Womens Group of Gwinnett. Ive been a patient with them for over 3 years and all the staff and medical teams are wonderful. I see them regularly to manage my health and I went through a pregnancy and delivery with them. They were with me every step of the way. I love that I got to meet every physician on staff before my labor so I knew the doctor who delivered my baby. Dr. Iyoyo is my primary physician and she always makes the time to get to the bottom of any health issues Ive experienced and answer any question Ive had. They truly care about their patients. This office is wonderful and I would highly recommend them!
This is the best OBGYN office I’ve ever been to. The entire team is amazing! I love them so much and will never go anywhere else. They make you feel like family. I have to give a special shout-out to Anna Pollard and Fawn. I have seen them almost this entire pregnancy and every time I get so excited. They are SO fun and so sweet! They always have smiles on their faces! I am honestly going to miss them so much after having my baby!
This Office has is a Warm and wonderful with an exceptional staff that has always been professional and friendly. Dr. Yolanda Smith is my doctor here and she’s Amazing! Very knowledgeable, makes you feel comfortable and is very easy to talk to. Ever since she performed my surgery almost 2 yrs ago, I have decided to keep her as my OB/Gyn Doc.
I’m so glad I was recommended The Women’s Group of a Gwinnett. My provider, Anna, genuinely cared about my reason for coming into the office, not only that but she was passionate about navigating me through my next steps. Her nurse was amazing & so incredibly personable. Both of these ladies put me at ease!Every nurse that helped me through triage was amazing. This office is truly so laid back. I love how contemporary it is & how all the girls could express their individuality! Definitely recommend!!
Dr falkner is in a word the BEST! I have been with her for about 5 years, referred to her by a friend, and I am so glad I took the advice. She is warm, funny, smart, and very caring. My only regret is not meeting her sooner. Anyone asks me who I see I quickly get a sticky note and give them her name and number. I want everyone to have a doctor as amazing as this lady. Thank you for all you do, Sabrina!! 🧡
I visited the office on Wednesday and I was given another patients lab work write up which contained PHI (name, address, social, phone number, and tests scheduled to be performed). I am concerned that this patient could potentially have received my paperwork as well. I am not sure if my data has also been compromised but I reached out to the office manager and have not received a response. The office is significantly busy which is understandable but the breach of PHI is not acceptable and must be reported.
So far so good. Had my first prenatal visit. Doctor and nurse made me feel so comfortable especially since this is my first pregnancy. Place was clean, reception and everyone there was friendly. They explained everything. Got to hear my babies heart beat for the first time and they gave me babys first photo. So far I am happy I chose to come here. I was a bit late to my appointment but they were able to squish me in regardless. Thank you.Update: I had my baby. My whole pregnancy was very smooth. I had no issues with any of the doctors that saw me throughout my pregnancy. When the time came for delivery We simply called the hospital at 2:00 a.m. and told them that my water broke and they had called me back to let me know when it was okay to come in. All of the nurses were super nice. Delivery took about 3 hours and only took 11 minutes of pushing. They respected my requests for no interventions no epidural all natural delivery. No one tried to push anything onto me, they did let me know I had the option. After delivery it was very smooth went to the recovery and the nurses that rotated throughout were all so nice as well. My baby was super healthy and I was very happy about that. This was my first pregnancy so I am just so glad that everything went so smoothly no issues and we got to take our beautiful girl home the following day. So thank you to Northside hospital and all of the nurses and doctors that I saw for making my experience really nice.
I went for my annual check-up yesterday as a new patient and all I can say is WOW! I was pleased with everything from the time I checked in until it was time to check out. Everyone was so friendly and professional and Dr. Iyoyo was awesome! Many thanks to anyone who took the time to leave a review because I never would have found this gem without you!
I have been going to Dr. Yolanda Smith for many years...she’s awesome! I literally drive almost an hour each way to this Dr. because she is that thorough. She takes the time to review my chart and discuss any previous issues or possible concerns. I never feel rushed and she takes the time to answer any questions. She has great bedside manner and a gentle approach to what could be an uncomfortable situation. The staff and nurses in the office are always friendly as well. I took 1 star off simply because sometimes there is a bit of wait to be seen.
I have been a patient of Dr Yolanda Smith for many years and she is always very sweet, courteous and listens patiently to all my concerns or questions. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a Gynecologist in Gwinnett County. The office or practice is well organized and the staff is very professional. I had a minor issue of an expired insurance card from the previous year but the office manager verified my insurance is active and I received treatment promptly.
Everyone from the reception till when you meet the doctors are all amazing, I had my two babies here.. I love the genuine care, and professionalism of the doctors, and the fact that it’s all women made me more comfortable.. I always looked forward to meeting Dr. Smith whenever I have an appointment, she’s really good at what she does, you can hear the genuine concern in her voice, she delivered my second baby. Dr Iyoyo delivered my first baby, and also took care of me at the hospital after my second delivery, her professionalism is top notch. I love all the doctors, I can’t thank them enough for taking care of me and helping to usher my wonderful boys into this world. I would recommend the women’s group of Gwinnett any day. I almost forgot, Lauren is amazing.., she can even recognize me just by my voice over the phone, she’s makes you comfortable immediately you step into the clinic, and this nurse I think her name is Fann ( I don’t think I got the spelling right) but she’s the sweetest, she chats with you whilst doing her job and relaxes you before you see the doctor, that even if you were nervous, you would be relaxed by the time the doctor comes in. I love them all, I wish I can give more than 5 stars
I always see Anna, she and Fawn are the absolute best!! However, I am having issues now that are requiring surgery. Anna referred me to Dr. Falkner. I was nervous, as surgery can be scary. I walked in and Lauren was so super sweet as she checked me in. Janice took me right back to a room and could tell how nervous I was. She put me right at ease. Dr. Falkner quickly came in and spent lots of time with me. She explained in great detail everything that would happen before, during, and after the surgery. She made sure I understood and did not have any questions before leaving the room. Thank you everyone at Women’s Group of Gwinnett!!
I have had nothing but amazing experiences here. The staff is always so kind and there is usually hardly any wait to see your doctor. Ive been seeing Anna Pollard for the past year and a half and she is is fantastic. So kind and caring, and has made every appointment a breeze. My first experience getting an IUD with a different office was awful. No meds to soften the cervix or for the pain (of which there was plenty). But when I got a new IUD here, it was immensely better. Only thing I felt was slight discomfort and cramping. She talked me through every step and constantly checked on my well-being.I am very thankful for everyone here. Couldnt ask for a better experience.
Cons: This practice is horribly run. They ask the same questions every time I go in, even though these things should be noted in my chart already, they have even had to redo tests because they either lost or did not properly record the results. The nurses are kind of a mixed bag. some are very friendly and accommodating, others are rude and judgmental.Pros: The doctors are really great. They worked with me to make sure my insurance would cover me when i ended up being due in a 2 week gap in my insurance. They made sure to take as much time as i needed to make sure all my questions were answered, tried to listen to and accommodate my birth plan and were overall very reassuring throughout my high risk pregnancy. Dr. Troxler really came through for me during my delivery. As soon as she came in the room she realized my son was stuck in the birth canal and was able to get me into have a c section quickly. The procedure was quick and painless. She was so supportive and never made me feel like i had failed or didnt try hard enough to deliver naturally. and made sure i was comfortable and calm.As a practice, i think they could do better, but the doctors themselves are really capable and caring.
I have been a patient of Dr. Yolanda Smith for so many years and I will not switch to any other doctor. She has been supportive and has provided much guidance over the years. She is a pleasure to speak with and she makes me feel comfortable. The support staff is always friendly and professional. I love the Quest Diagnostic technician there as well. She is a bonus to the office.
I have been a patient of Dr Falkner’s for 17 years. I cannot emphasize enough the positive experience that I have had. She has walked me through not only several gynecological surgeries but several difficult life events as well. I actually look forward to catching up with her at my annual visit. The practice itself has grown immensely over the years but the general feeling of well-being remains, and I have referred several friends to the practice. I hope she plans on working for many many years! Raving fan!!!
I went here for years and had a great experince. The last 2 years making an appointment has become a challenge. They only answer the phone between 9am to 11am. They never call back if you leave a message. I have to call while Im at work and sit on hold.
I have never had such a beautiful experience. I highly recommend this practice. I will be making them my primary care providers. I only had the chance to meet Dr. Faulkner and she was extremely sensitive toward my situation. Gave me sound advice and words of encouragement. You can tell when someone truly cares for their patients. I will be returning. Loved the environment and cleanliness of the practice. All of the women that work in the front are beautiful and helpful.
Dr. Huynh is the absolute best. She is patient, compassionate and you never feel rushed with her. She takes her time to go over your issues and listens to your concerns. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a good Gyeno/OB! The office staff is also wonderful and very responsive when I have any problems, I highly recommend this office!
I’ve seen Dr. Huynh for several years and she is fantastic! I’ve sent my adult daughters to her as well because I trust her so much. She is easy to talk with and spends time listening and answering all my questions. I absolutely adore her and all the staff here.
All of the staff here are so nice and friendly. Dr Falkner is amazing as always and the very reason why I will go no where else. She is so knowledgeable and truly cares about me.
From the first day I stepped into this office I felt like I had been coming here for years! I’m new to Georgia only been here for less than a year and was recommended by a coworker to this office. Anna Pollard is the absolute best! Very professional atmosphere. Nurse Fawn is simply amazing! If I could give it 10 ⭐️ I would. They are very considerate of your time as well so no need to pack a lunch!
Ive been coming here for several years, specifically for Anna Pollard, but all the nurses and personnel are great too. But Anna is amazing - shes funny, personable but most importantly she is knowledgeable and caring. My yearly visits with her feel like more than just a routine physical - she asks about all aspects of my life and every time I have brought up a concern, no matter how inconsequential or how sure I was that there was nothing that could be done, she instead has rattled off several different ways that we could address it. Some of it is life changing and I cannot thank her enough. So I would definitely recommend Anna and the Womens Group.
I love this practice! I would use them for future pregnancies! I am 38 weeks now and had nothing but a great experience with each doctor here. They rotate between all four doctors, so I was able to meet each one before giving birth. I havent ever had to wait very long for any appointment. Each doctor is very informative and doesnt make me feel rushed when I have questions. I came here for Dr. Gould and she is, of course, my first choice, but I would recommend any of the doctors here. Also, the office is clean and the front desk staff and nurses are all helpful and polite as well.
I have been with this group for 12 years. I have been with Dr. Yolonda Smith through my pregnancy, my delivery, and now. The office staff have always been friendly and efficient, the wait time is short, everyone is professional and it’s an overall great experience. I would recommend this practice to every woman in and outside of Gwinnett!
My pregnancy experience was top notch. I will deliver with them again! I loved all the doctors. They took their time at each appointment, listened to my concerns, were supportive, and just awesome. Dr. Troxler made me feel 10 times better about my delivery, & made my delivery smooth as possible! 5 stars!
Dr. Kimberly Huynh is awesome. Very personable. Takes time to answers questions, gentle manner, polite, and explains everything. She is very through in her work, and takes care with her patients. I never feel rushed, and I can ask her anything.
Dr. Iyoyo was wonderful! Shes very thorough. She walked me through everything she did during the exam and what to look for as far as concerns. I like that...what to look for. She was very patient when I shared some things changing with my body. She offered good counsel. I went to her based on a recommendation from my friend who was right - Dr. Iyoyo is amazing! The front desk was efficient. They sent me the forms to complete in advance. I emailed them and brought the hard copies with me. After giving them my ID and insurance card, I ready to see the doctor. I was in and out of the doctors office in 30 minutes. Doesnt get much better than that!
I didnt have very high hopes, but this was the only gynocological practice that could fit me in quickly when my PC ordered a pap smear. Ive been pretty reluctant to have annual exams due to a previous bad experience at another practice. Long story short, it was VERY uncomfortable and it took forever.I was nervous and expecting another miserable experience, but from the moment I was called back by Nurse Fawn, things started looking up. She was warm and welcoming. I think she realized that I wasnt thrilled to be there, so the friendly chatter helped calm me down. When Anna Pollard came in, she was very business-like and talked me through the whole procedure. It was reassuring to know what was coming and not to be left in suspense. Both nurse and doctor were in sync and frankly its nice to know that your team has clearly done this before, many times. Dr Pollard was extremely quick, with minimal pain. I was so thrilled, Im going to add them both to my Christmas card list. Highly recommended!!!!
I delivered & then lost my son at 19 weeks. The experience was horrible. No more than a week later I received a letter saying they cant be my obgyn and to immediately find another because I denied to take a weekly shot that they recommended. (Research shows shot did not promise to stop opening of cervix for labor) I was truly hurt and was made to be at fault. On a bright note, had my rainbow baby the next year. I took the shots but STILL had an early opening of my cervix. Thanks to my next doctor who kept close watch we were able to catch it and do what was possible to have a full term baby.
Today I saw Dr. Sabrina Falkner and she was AMAZING!!! She was incredibly patient, kind, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions (I had plenty!). She was extremely personable and has a wonderful bedside manner. I would strongly recommend her to anyone who is looking for an OB/GYN. She made me feel at ease during my appointment as well as with the handling of my care moving forward. Thank you Dr. Falkner, you are the best!!!
Dr. Falkner is a wonderful doctor. I have been going to her for over 10 years. She listens, and takes the time to talk to you. She is compassionate and concerned about your overall well being. She goes through your chart with you and talks about everything. I would highly recommend her to every women. I know I am in good hands with Dr. Falkner.
This practice is super nice. I usually see Dr. Hugyn who is so sweet!! As of late I’ve been seeing Dr. Smith a lot and she’s awesome! She’s really understanding and takes the time to talk through things thoroughly until I feel great! The only “bad” thing about this practice is that the wait is super long. I’ve waited almost 2 hours once while pregnant and it was not fun! Other than that nothing bad to say!
Dr. Huynh is amazing. I’ve never felt more comfortable with a doctor. I feel that she is open to my concerns and willing to work with me rather than immediately refer me to a specialist. Thanks for all you do!
So far my husband and I are super happy and really looking forward to working with the fantastic doctors and staff at Women’s Group of Gwinnett for our very first pregnancy. We feel so comforted, heard( this super important because I’m older) and know they are looking out for our babys best health possible. We are completely new to Georgia and still getting doctors, etc. established. After having a nightmare experience at a completely different pregnancy facility. It was very refreshing and reassuring to meet with everyone at WGG. We are so excited and really looking forward to everything with Women’s Group of Gwinnett.**Update: its been over a year since delivery and still very thankful for the team and their care. Also, we really appreciated the convenience, if your body is acting fun towards the end they only a floor below the cat walk that takes you right over to the womens pavilion. I had to use it and made everything that much speedier getting care and help going. ( I had an emergancy form of preeclampsia at the end and sweet baby was born about six weeks early. The team was great! They jumped into action and helped try to keep everything as safe as possible for our little love.)
I was doing all of my checkups there during my first trimester. I had a two month trip planned after that so was going to be out of town. I missed ONE appointment and got released from their program. Not sure what that even means being on a prenatal program. Or to get released. When I went to reschedule said appointment, they said I had two weeks to get one more appointment but after that would no longer be able to be seen there. Essentially it felt like they were refusing care to a 21 week pregnant lady knowingly who had been seen there before.
I am a patient with Women Group for more than 10 years. Dr Huynh delivered my two boys. She tried the best to bring you a happiness and being healthy. Even though I don’t want more baby but I still go to her office every year for Pap smear. Her partner was also amazing. Choosing a Women Group, you have right doctor & serious care. Give yourself a try you won’t loose anything but satisfied & happy.
Dr. Smith was phenomenal during my delivery!! She delivered my youngest son and I am so grateful for her expertise, gentle/ understanding manner during my delivery, and wonderful/ thorough care thereafter. She is truly an essential asset to the medical community.
My annual check up is not something I look forward to every year, but the Women’s Group makes it an enjoyable experience. The staff are extremely nice and Dr. Smith is just a joy. I always enjoy our conversations and her kind, personal and professional manner.
Im highly disappointed with my experience at this facility. If youre a new patient and seeking a doctor for pregnancy, please be mindful of the longgggg process to set up an appointment. Its like an interview process. Make sure that you are healthy and dont have any complications with previous pregnancies. They ask pre-screening questions to further evaluate if youre a suitable candidate to be a patient. I told them my blood pressure was high and I was showing signs of preeclampsia during a previous pregnancy one week before my due date, which is why I was induced a week early. My whole pregnancy was smooth. Once I was admitted to the hospital, they told me my blood pressure was normal, however since I was admitted they were going to induce me anyways. I vaginally delivered my baby with NO complications and was discharged 1 day and a half later. I explained all of this to the nurse and she warned me that I may not be accepted by any doctor. Of course, being a new patient trying to find a suitable doctor, thats the last thing I expected to hear. Especially since this is a whole different pregnancy and experience.
So Im doing a review super late after my appointment but Anna Pollard and fawn are AMAZING!! I love them and their bedside manners soo much that I WONT go to anyone but them and have told their office that when I win the lottery ANNA is coming with me but so they know if they read this FAWN is coming too they are so kind and make me feel human instead of like a number and I really appreciate that. Love you ladies!! Sorry it took so long, I shouldve done this years ago.
Love the fact that they’re always on time with my appointment, I’m usually in and out in no time. They try very hard to make you feel relaxed and are always open to answer any questions. My last doctor was always in a rush, not the case for this special care team. All of the doctors and nurses are amazing. That makes picking your favorite kind of hard. I wish I had found them sooner!
I’ve been a patient of the Women’s Group for over 20 years! Once my doctor retired from the group several years ago I continued going to WGG and started seeing Dr. Falkner. I’ve had nothing but the best experience with her. Always professional while showing concern for my health and personal life.
All great and amazing women! Made me feel so comfortable speaking truthfully about all my medical needs and they worked with me to allow me to be 100% with everything going on. 10/10 would recommend. Only one negative experience and it happened to be a woman I spoke with on the phone about my medication, she made me feel like I was dumb and just regret even calling. Other than that I have nothing but positives about them they’re amazing. All women faculty! Love, love, love!
I normally don’t write reviews (bad ones anyway) but I felt obligated to write one. I write this as I sit in the waiting room almost 45 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. This is my fourth visit to this office. First visit went fine, got called back relatively quickly. Second visit was for an IUD insertion and I waited OVER AN HOUR after my appointment time before I was even called back!!! Third visit was an emergency visit, as I was experiencing severe abdominal pain, so I waited about an hour, but understandably so since I was an add in appointment (I don’t just complain for irrational reasons). Now this visit, with an appointment time of 8:45 and it is currently 9:24. Also, to add to this, I was told on my last visit that my ultrasound would cost $40...got a phone call yesterday informing me that this was incorrect and they’re very sorry but I’ll need to pay the difference. I approved having the ultrasound at $40, but YOUR OFFICE made an error (not my insurance either) and you expect me to pay the difference AFTER having the ultrasound. HORRIBLE. The positive to this office is I really love my doctor, Anna. BUT WAITING ABOUT AN HOUR EVERY TIME IS UNACCEPTABLE. Period.
Just moved to GA Feb 2020 and had to quickly find an OB practice as we found out we were expecting 2 weeks after our move. I’m extremely satisfied that this is the practice I chose after the move with no knowledge of the area. They have an in-house ultrasound tech and labs are drawn onsite. Which is something I’m sure I would’ve enjoyed prior to the pandemic just for convenience.. but since having to go during a pandemic is greatly cut down on appointments I would’ve had to make had I needed to go off-site for labs and/or ultrasounds.I also appreciate the fact that you rotate through the doctors that could be delivering your child so you’re comfortable/ have met the doctor that will be there on the big day. I recently gave birth to my second child with the help of Dr. YoYo and she was AMAZING. She was quick with her decisions during labor and because of that we had a very smooth delivery with no complications.I have had issues with billing because I wasn’t informed that I would be receiving bills from the OB practice as well as from the lab with both of them having the same logo so I assumed I was making payments at the front desk to cover all charges, but I had to call in to a specific number in order to make a payment on the labs. Communication there could’ve been better for full understanding on the patient responsibilities/ where to pay.. but overall I’ve had very good experiences with this practice. Would definitely recommend.
The entire staff is very professional. Their patient flow is unlike any practice that I’ve ever gone to. They are very organized. Dr. Smith & Dr. Faulkner are awesome❤️.
They dont tell patients that they dont take Medicare so their patients are sumarily dumped and are put in the untenable position of not being able to get another doctor before the patient has to get on Medicare. Further, they dont care if their patients are harmed by lack of medical care due to this position. If you ever intend on living past 65, dont use this office. If I could give them a lower score I would. I just found out today that they had a security breach in April of last year. So, not only do they treat their patients like dirt. They also hide their mistakes so the patients bear the full burden of their incompetance. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH OR YOUR PERSONAL PRIVACY.
Great practice of professionals. I see Dr. Iyoyo, she is highly knowledgeable, very personal and caring toward her patients. She quickly saw me on a video visit the week after the pandemic began, when many providers were still determining how to provide patient care. Kudos to this team. They carry on the exceptional level of care that I used to receive from Dr. Harrison. Thank you!
Both of my daughters were delivered by the Women’s Group of Gwinnett and they are AMAZING! Very loving and genuinely care for their patients. They are great about answering the phone and any questions I had regarding my pregnancy. For any future pregnancies, I will definitely come back!!!
I have been very pleased with this Doctor’s office. Few things that I do like is: timeliness (not waiting in the waiting room or exam room for long periods of time), organization and cleanliness of the office, professionalism of all staff members, and diversity of Nurses and Doctors. Highly recommend!
I love this practice and I am a long time patient. When my daughter needed a new ob-gyn, I brought her here. I did not want to do this review and give this great practice such a low rating but, my daughter still remembers and talks about her experience the day she gave birth to my first grandson and I felt compelled to write this. First let me say, most of the doctors and the staff are warm and amazing. But there is one that I wouldnt wish on my enemy and she happened to be on call when my daughter gave birth. Dr. Falkner-- an uncaring, sarcastic and cold doctor that made my daughters first birthing experiencing horrible. She lacks patience and empathy and really should find another job as this is how it appears she views helping a young woman bring life into the world. Drs Huynh and Smith are are GREAT and I highly recommend.
I had the best experience from my pregnancy visits to the whole labor experience. The nurses were extremely caring throughout my stay at the hospital. This was my fourth pregnancy and the best experience compare to my other three pregnancies. My best nurses while staying at the hospital: Michelle, Margaret, Celeste and Jessica
This group has been caring for me since I had my first child 26 years ago. I am a nurse myself, and I know quality care when I see it. I am 100% satisfied with the care I receive here. I trust the providers, and I recommend this group to anyone searching for a OB/GYN group. They are my favorite!
Ive been seeing Dr. Iyoyo for years and absolutely love her. She takes time to tall with and listen to you. The office is very clean and organized. The staff is always top notch professional. I highly recommend this practice.
Everyone in the office is personable and attentive. I love Dr. Huynh. She actually reads your chart before she gets to you. I never feel like she’s rushing to the next room. Five stars all around!
They dont care about their pt. The care about the money. They dont tell you exactly what is going on with your baby. No explanation,no suggestions. As a doctor, they should be responsible for their pt and the decision they make. Anyway, God will pay them . They are a women too. The lady work in ultrasound department very rude. Please ladys be careful when you choose this providers. I suggest you ran far away from this place.
Ive been seeing Dr. Faulkner for 6 plus years and I love her! Shes an amazing physician. Extremely kind, caring, personable, and gentle. Im someone who takes no pleasure in doctors visits and shes always compassionate and takes time with me. Not everyone has an easy time at the GYN appointments and she makes the whole process smooth and virtually painless. I wouldnt see another OBGYN because I trust her with my health and well being. Thank you Dr. Faulkner! You make coming to the office a more relaxing experience.
I transferred to the Womens Group of Gwinnett towards the end of my pregnancy because we relocated. I have loved every single visit and every single person there. All of the doctors will take their time with you to address any concerns (even minor ones) with you. Dr. Smith delivered my baby, and she was wonderful. It was not an easy delivery for me, but she made it work out well.
I have been going to the women’s group since I turned 18 and needed services. The practitioners are great I love both Sydney and Alexandra.
I love coming here! And that says alot about an OBGYN office. The staff is great and so are the doctors they are all amazing. Dr. Smith and her nurse Danielle are my go to and she is the BEST doctor I have ever had (and Ive been to alot). She is caring, thoughtful, gentle, and genuinely cares about her patients. I have referred a few women to her and they all say the same thing. This is a great group of doctors and I wouldnt want to go anywhere else.
I went to the Womens Group of Gwinnett and received excellent service from the time I arrived to the time I left. They made me feel special. Everyone was nice and friendly. Very good service. I was feeling down about my condition and the doctor (Dr. Wen)counseled me and told me its not the end of the World. She really uplifted my spirits .
The Womens Group of Gwinnetts staff and doctors are awesome. The Nurses and Specialists are professional and extremely personable. They take their time to really understand your specific needs in order to come up with a viable treatment plan. Ive seen Dr. Faulkner for years but I can also attest that all of the OB/Gyn Specialist in this office are great and well qualified to treat your specific medical needs . Check them out, you wont regret it.
Dr. Iyoyo is the best! I have never met such a thoughtful, caring person in the healthcare industry that actually cares. She has the best bedside manners and really listens to her patients. I couldnt have ask for a better doctor to delivery my baby.
My entire experience with the womens group has been wonderful. As a mom to be they explained everything very well as far as my treatment plan for my healthcare services throughout the upcoming months of my pregnancy. From beginning to end (birth) Dr.Yolanda Smith was such a big help and blessing. I cant thank her enough for her calm demeanor and overall loving attitude, she was such a blessing and Im so very happy she was able to deliver my baby. I would highly recommend her and or Dr. Kimberly Huynh.
I currently go here now, but will not for future pregnancies. I always end up waiting forever to see the doctor for all of 5 minutes. And several times Ive waited for a very long time to see the doctor before they finally offer to just let me see the RN. Most of the receptionists are nice, but April is always very rude. They no longer do reminder calls which isnt a big deal, but every other doctors office I know of does them so I dont know why they dont. They also never, ever answer the phone when you call with symptom concerns or questions and its very frustrating to have to wait for them to call you back when youre in pain, scared, etc. Also, I just feel overall that they arent very concerned about whats going on with me or really put any thought into suggestions for symptom relief. I feel like they book as many patients as possible to make more money then rush in and out of appointments, sometimes not even asking how you are or if you have questions.
Called the office on Monday, January 4th for ob transfer. I followed the directions on the nurses line and had my previous ob transfer my medical records by Wednesday of the same week. The nurses line says not to leave multiple messages and they will contact you in 24 hours. No one contacted me so the next week I called again, still no one called me back. I waited over a week and called again. I’m just hearing from the nurse today, January 27th and she told me that the office can’t see me because I’m high risk and they can only accept a certain amount of high risk patients. I’m not upset that they can’t see me. I’m upset that it took almost a month for them to contact me and let me know. They do accept my insurance. That’s why I didn’t think it would be a problem to transfer. I don’t have a regular ob now. I wish I would have known this 3 weeks ago.
I made an appointment 3/4 weeks ago. For my young daughter 15. We were excited because this was her first appt. I received a call from this office telling me they had to cancel because their dr would be out!! Not my fault, Not my problem… They wanted to reschedule her another month out. Unexceptionable!!!!! They told me to speak to the manager. Left 2 messages!!! No return call!!! Wow We would have been new patients. This is how you treat new patients??? They didn’t care. Basically told me to find another location. They were not going to accommodate!!!! I will make sure I tell everyone I know. FYI I am a practice manager. We would never treat our patients this way!
This is by far the best OBGYN I’ve dealt with!! I moved to Gwinnett in 2013 and visited two OBGYN’s and just couldn’t find the right one until I came here! From the receptionist to the nurses the phlebotomist and the doctors EVERYONE was on point! They got me through 2 of my pregnancies which by the way was high risk! The doctors gained a rapport with me it felt as if I was always talking to the same one they could pick right up where the other left off from my previous appointment! The nursing staff is very knowledgeable as well and always returned phone calls in a timely manner!! I could go on and on about this practice but you should go experience them for yourself!! So If you are looking for an OBGYN Women’s Group of Gwinnett is the place to go!!
I went to this practice to see if they would accept me as a transfer patient. They asked for a copy of my records and said they would forward them to the doctor. After several days I had not heard anything back from them. Now they are aware that it is important that they let me know if they can accept me as a transfer patient or not because I am 29 weeks and most doctors will not accept you after 30 weeks pregnant. But they still took days to get back to me and wasted my time when they could have quickly reviewed the few pages (as there were only 8 pages in the report) and made a determination. On the day that I was going to just go pick up my records from them because after leaving several messages and waiting several days, I decided this is not a practice I wanted to go to anyway, they call me and tell me theyre not going to take me as a new patient. Very poorly run office and not considerate of your time.
Remember when you read these reviews that unhappy people are more likely to write them. All of these doctors are very caring. Every one is entitled to a bad day, even them. You may wait because they spend as much time with each patient as they need. You dont know what the patient before you has going on. I have been to a doctors office where I didnt have to wait. I figured out why when i met the doctor. He was terrible. This is not the only office that may not accept a transfer. Most offices may not take a transfer. My advice is not to worry about how many stars they get. Try them and judge for yourself! This is a great practice!
I have been coming to this practice since I moved to Georgia 20 years ago. I was well past needing an OB, but I have always loved the doctors and nurses here for my “older woman” appointments! I was very sad when my first doctor retired, but he recommended that I see Dr. Huynh and she is as wonderful as he was!
I have been going to see Womens Ground since 2010. I have had all 3 of my children with them and the doctors are are awesome. You have the option to see a doctor you prefer or any of them. I have found wonderful women that have heard me and all my prego crazy and normal crazy. Even after a year they remember you as a person. Thank you Womens Group cause 40 is gonna be wild. Dr. Huynh, Dr. Smith, and Dr. Iyoyo you are all the greatest and yes I was asleep. Lol
Every year I go see Anna NP for my wellness check, and she’s so personable!!! I feel like she takes the time to listen to me during my quick annual visits … she even remembers details from previous years… she’s great!!! Oh and she’s in and out real fast for my “inspection”
Always a pleasant experience with Dr. Iyoyo. She has great bedside manners and always personable. She also listens to my concerns and make recommendations accordingly! Also I don’t feel rushed which I can’t say for other doctors. I highly recommend Dr Iyoyo!
Everyone from the scheduler to the front office staff to the nurse to Dr. Smith was wonderful! My questions were answered and explained thoroughly to me. The doctor even called and messaged me afterwards for efficient communication. Such sweet, caring people work here, which is exactly what one looks for in their OB/GYN! :)
This practice did not accept me and my wife. They accepted our insurance and everything but did not accept us simple because of her history. (I even offered to pay everything upfront), I guess they did not want their office to look bad if something bad were to happen. If you do go here and are accepted talk to Beverly, she is a very nice kind and helping lady. She alone made this review 2 stars. The doctors and their selfishness made the review a one star.
Incredibly fast - no wait time in either the reception area or the exam room. Dr. Iyoyo was amazing! She was very personable and kind - and this is weird to say but it was the most pleasant Pap smear I’ve ever had. I didn’t even realize she had done it and it was over. So happy I came here and loved the whole experience!
Im on my second pregnancy and I now live 45 minutes away from the office. Im still coming here. I love them that much. Great experience all around. They followed my first pregnancy very closely, and I always felt like I was in good hands.
How much is your health/life worth???? Apparently nothing to this place. All they care about is the money they can collect from you. I have called this office several times to try to set up an appointment and was told I couldnt because of a $82 balance, I offered to pay the balance in person when I come in for my appointment and was told no. I called collections and paid the balance, called back to set the appointment and it was still the same thing. I even called the collection company just ensure that that the balancewas cleared on their end and it was. Cant get in touch with billing. At this point I will never go back to this office. I will find another practice.
If youre a previous patient of Dr. V, and you wanted your records sent here to continue your care... Your records are gone. No one knows where the records are. Office manager refuses to return my numerous calls. Very unprofessional office. Ive been trying to get my records since 10/31/2018. They still dont know where they are. They keep telling me each week that they changed their policies on where the records are last week. Obviously this office is disorganized. If they cant keep their office organized, how can I trust them with my health? Dont go here. I found a better office where staff are friendly and organized next to Eastside Medical.
After having a traumatic experience with an OB-GYN in the past and then having one move out of state, I was absolutely terrified of having to find a new OB-GYN. I decided on this place after doing some research and I could not have chosen better. Anna Pollard NP has been absolutely wonderful! She is caring and thoughtful and listens and I have full faith that she will do everything possible to find out what is causing my problems and get us to a solution.
Very great practice...Ive seen several different providers here and havent been disappointed...I got to shout out my fav Dr. Huynh on today. Was so nervous of what was going on and soon as I described what was happening she stopped me in my track and told me exactly all the symptoms I was having and why and what was causing it..So happy I found this group after searching for some time..Everyone from the front staff to checkout is awesome...Will definitely recommend.. Thank you all ladies.. Job well done.. Keep up the awesome work..
I have been coming to the office for a few years now, for both Gyn services and now OB care. Dr.Iyoyo and her team is absolutely the best. Great bedside manner, she listens and is very compassionate about what she does. Thank you again to the Womens Group
I have been seeing Dr. Smith since I moved back to GA about 5 years ago. There simply arent words for how amazing Dr. Smith and the staff at Womens Group of Gwinnett are! You are in good hands at this practice!
I had initially gone to a different OB and was very dissatisfied with the care and attention that I received. After doing some more googling and asking for recommendations, I decided to go with WGoG. I could not be more happy with my decision to continue with them for my pregnancy. They are amazing and really listen to what you have to say. I definitely would recommend them to any expectant mother!
I have been going to this Dr for years...I’m leavening this review because even after many years I am still getting awesome customer service. My Dr. Yolanda Smith has impeccable bedside manners....With my visits today being my 1st since the pandemic(covid) I was extremely important by the precautionary measures they have put in place to protect their staff and patients. Kudos to the staff for easing my anxiety of my 1st annual exam during covid!
Anna Pollard has an intuitive way of assuaging your fears. She speaks in the exact tone you need to hear and gives comfort without sounding condescending, judgmental or pacifying. I have recommended two friends to her - one who found out she had cancer and was successfully treated for it. There is no other career Anna could have chosen to more perfectly match her skill set. Compassionate, funny and down to Earth, I almost want to give her a tip when I leave. She makes going to the gynecologist (which I despise) somehow seem like a pleasure. 😊
The office is nice. Anna is great but the support staff is unreliable. Constantly get prescriptions wrong and insist on labs that arent due yet and exams that arent due yet. ALWAYS have to wait 90min - 2 hrs for any appointment no matter the time of day. The hours are so narrow between lunch and the end of the work day that I can never get call back until they have closed. Constant battle to get anything filled properly. The only reason I have bothered to come here as long as I have is because of Anna otherwise I would have left after my second visit.
Dr. Iyoyo is one of the best doctors I have ever had. She really takes the time to talk to you about questions, issues or just options. The staff is pretty great too. There is the nurse that I see every time for my visit. Im sorry I forget her name (she has a hearing aid piece in I believe) but she is just so friendly and nice every time! :)
Overall good experience with the doctors..... but billing is HORRIBLE. I have been trying to get my refund for over 2 months and they are holding my money. Now there is a new bill that was never sent to me that they are wanting to take my refund for. Do yourself a favor. If you are an expecting mother DO NOT prepay your deductible. Fight it or find another office, because they will keep your money.
I had to leave a great doctor because of the customer service of the staff. I love the Dr. Falkner patient care. The Customer Service is TERRIBLE with the Practice Manger and the nurse Robin. The Practice Manger add to nonsense by going along with the Nurse Robin. I talk to the Practice Manger about coming in for my Depo shot (side note she wanted to schedule for a routine pregnancy visit, if the Practice Manager does not know what a Depo shot is then something is truly wrong). Then she said that they could provide the Depo vaccine, she was just clueless. And Robin was rude, she went in asking me about what I do for a living. They wanted me to do multiple visit for a Depo Shot when I was coming in for my annual visit. I can’t deal with rudeness just to see a doctor. It’s not worth it during these stressful time of the Covid-19. The two star are for Dr. Falkner and the scheduling staff.
Dr. Smith is amazing during the office visits, and after providing a great follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Smith for anyone looking for a highly knowledgeable, professional, thorough and compassionate gynecologist. Fawn and Danielle are great, attentive, professional and very positive.
I called asking to speak with a nurse because my OBGYN wasnt answering. Samantha answered the phone and was extremely rude in telling me that they wouldnt give advice unless youre an established patient. I can understand the reason, but the snotty tone wasnt acceptable. I will not be calling this clinic again. I can only imagine how the rest of the staff must be if I was treated this way over the phone.
I had my baby delivered on February 16th . I was glad I did it by the doctor iyoyo Melissa she is very professional even during my pregnancy they were all Staff caring about my high risque pregnancy Taking care of me and my baby . They did great work !! I thank them all am felling like I was new born that day as my baby as well ! God bless you all keep doing the good job :) a big thanks from me and my little family to all doctors and team in the women’s group of Gwinnett in Lawrence ville !
Finally, I felt heard and understood. Some of the same descriptions I’ve been using for years to describe my pain were repeated back to me with solutions.Proactive is an understatement, my follow up appointments have been made along with a treatment plan. I’m beyond relieved, thank you!
I have been a patient for over 18 years. This is my only choice for total woman care. The level of expertise and professionalism is first and best in class. I have seen Dr. Faulkner and Dr. Smith respectively and could not ask for better providers.
I’m Patient with them in my first pregnancy ،In my second pregnancy I was exposed to a severe bleeding that caused me an abortion. I went to the clinic twice and they did not do anything to me. The doctor told me that my body will get rid of the rest of the toxins. At the end of my appointment, everything was fine. After almost two months of miscarriage, I found out that I was pregnant after the home test and called and told them After talking to the nurse she told me that a doctor says I should go to the hospital and when I asked why I should go she do not give me a convincing answer I called more than once just to get an appointment and every time my contact goes to the nurse and nurse just make excuses one of the excuses that I was delayed in my pregnancy and when I tell her that pregnancy is different this pregnancy after abortion means only two months and I was very worried because of this pregnancy I went to another clinic Do a pregnancy test to be sure Last call between us asked why I can not get an appointment what she said to me because I went to another clinic but if I return archives to their office I will get an appointment and after when I did that and I bring my file history to them She said to me, with all ease, the doctors refuse to receive me as a patient for no reason. Is there anyone who can tells me what happened to me is true?
I had been going to Womens Group of Gwinnett for my annual exam for years. But once I found out I am pregnant, my experience with them forever changed. At my very first OB appointment- they left me in the exam room for roughly an hour and a half wearing nothing but a paper gown. One doctor accidentally came into the wrong room and instead of admitting her mistake, lied and chose to fake her way through the first half of my appointment. Ultimately I had to switch doctors offices because my insurance changed and Womens Group of Gwinnett was asked 3 different times to send my records to my new doctor, they never followed through with getting it sent. I ended up having to have the entire appointment redone at my new doctors office. Womens Group of Gwinnett had the nerve to send me a bill for over $200 after all is said and done, even though I did not gain a single thing from the appointment at their office. Ive called their practice manager three different times and she refuses to call me back. No one in this office cares to help a patient.
I was very pleased with the overall experience. Everybody was nice and right on time. I love Sabrina Faulkner. She takes her time to go over things with you and actually listens.Thank you, Dr Faulkner
I’ve been going to this office for years now. Dr. Huynh is amazing. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. She makes me feel heard and I feel like she genuinely cares about the well being of her patients. I highly recommend her :)
Really disappointed in my experience here. I told the doctor all of my concerns and everything going on with me during my first visit, but I was blamed for her not listening and ordering the wrong test at my next visit. And they charged me for her mistake. It also felt like they were just going through the motions instead of addressing more important issues first. Overall horrible experience, and I won’t be recommending this office to anyone.
This place is great. I feel like the bad reviews are those ppl that you just cant please. I know so many ppl that go here and Dr Faulkner is amazing. I have nothing but great things to say about them. All the doctors are great - really. I transferred here at 28 weeks because of a really bad experience with a different obgyn. It was night and day. I never ever review - this is actually my second... But I just feel like choosing a dr is so important and you really can not go wrong here.
Ive been going to this practice since I was a teenager! I had a baby last year and had the pleasure of being seen by all of the doctors and they are ALL really wonderful! Thank you, Dr. Troxler, for delivering my baby girl safely!! Thank you for the post-partum care.
They don’t care about you, they’re just going to take your money . Don’t prepay or go somewhere else
I love everything about this place. Especially Dr. Sabrina Faulkner! She is amazing at what she does and at making you feel comfortable. She delivered my first baby and I can only hope she will be the doctor to deliver my second whenever that might be :)
Worst clinic. My wife I 4 months pregnant, for her first 3 months she was in another country. This clinic won’t accept her as a patient because we cannot get records from doctor in another country. They say they cannot take her as a patient because of doctor in another country don’t have records. I tried my best but can’t get records because they don’t keep in system. This is not a way u treat another human being.
I was very impressed with the care and detailed support and resources. My patient care tech and Practitioner spoke with me with smiles and and a great sense of humor which helped me to open up about my issues, I wouldve orginally kinda wouldve been ashamed to address. Outstanding customer experience. Thanks Womens Group of Gwinnett 😘
I have been going to this practice for more than 21 years. Dr. Sabrina Falkner is AMAZING. Love her. Love her staff. Everyone is very compassionate and caring. 10/10 recommended.
I have been going to The Women’s Group for over ten years now and it has been a great placeTo visit. My doctor is Dr.Smith and she is a fantastic listener. She doesn’t hurry or rush you through your appointment and she really takes the time to listen and answer all of your questions.
WORST customer service and scheduling. Currently here and almost pushing an hour past my appointment. Was told Im next and then they call 3 others ahead of me. Never allowed to see the doctor you chose. Always waiting past appointment times. AWFUL OFFICE. Dont waste your time here ladies. Nothing but problems since the original doctors left here.
Today was my first visit and I am glad thatvI chose to come here. My doctor had retired. I saw Dr. Yolanda Smith. She was awesome and put me at ease. I also loved her nurse Danielle. I would highly recommend this group.
Very welcoming and Friendly staff! I have been using this group for over 30 years! Even changing doctors was easy transition after the originals retired. Very thorough visits and doctors are always willing to help and answer questions!
I love my OBGYN. Fawn is amazing...I always look forward to seeing her...she will brighten up your day with her smile & positive energy. Thank u Anna P & Fawn for being so amazing.
I love love love this place. They took me in at 32 weeks pregnant after I had a terrible experience with another office, and Ive been a patient here now for 4 years, and they have been nothing short of AMAZING to me and I will recommend them to anyone. Please give this place a chance! Theyre wonderful and you will not regret it! ❤️❤️❤️
Outstanding appointment with Dr.Smith! I must say, she is very knowledgeable and warm. This is a new office for me and I have found my doctor. 💙Thank you! Also the staff at the desk are very kind and helpful.
I had a great experience at NORTHSIDE Hospital. My Dr delivered my baby girl safe and sound.. during my OB visit everything was great. I thank God for a safe delivery and thank God for NORTHSIDE Hospital.
I would highly recommend this doctor office. From beginning to the end the staff offered phenomenal service. Dr. Troxler was fantastic. After struggling with being an anemic for years she went over all my fears and concerns to rectify my issues! I’m eternally grateful for her!!! She comes highly recommended..
Ive been a patient of the Womens Group of Gwinnett through all 3 of my children and have followed them from their move from Snellville to Lawrenceville/Suwanee. All of the staff have a great balance of professionalism and being personable at the same time. Love this group and dont see myself leaving any time soon!
Too many mistakes made on my first visit , labs were lost appointments were not schedule correctly. Second appointment was worse of course we had to reorder lost labs schedule the correct appointment for a breast ultrasound I wasn’t aware I needed and nearly scheduled an appointment for a fetal specialist which got me more worried due to me having a lump on my breast, a benign tumor on my cervix and now something might be wrong with my unborn child!!! I told the nurse I wasn’t given any information about the fetal specialist she left and came back with an apology since the fetal specialist was for another patient!!! That was it too many mistakes made a second chance was given and now I’m in search of a new Doctor ! Would not refer these doctors to anybody!!!
Whoever answered the phones today (03/21/22) at 4:30pm has been a major disappointment, I am not pleased and I did not get help! She wasn’t my usual and i actually like this office and the doctors and their amazing work! but based of my encounter today it seems like the receptionist was more caught on getting ready to clock out and leave work rather then helping out a customer and taking their problems and concerns seriously.
All of the doctors were great and knowledgeable. They always answered my questions and listen to my concerns. When I went into labor Dr. Falkner and her staff on duty were amazing and put me at ease. I could not have done it without them. I would give them 5 stars hands down.
I truly cant say enough about Dr. Falkner and her team, she takes her time to answer all questions. If I could give 20 stars I certainly would, she is a awesome doctor. With confidence I would recommend her to anyone!!!
Ive been going here for about 8 years. Nothing but a great experience through my first pregnancy, and another great experience 7 months into my second pregnancy. I dont even have a preference as to which doctor I see, because they are all so great!
Had a great experience with the doctors in this practice especially with Dr Huynh for my first delivery. She was extremely caring and helped me deliver naturally and avoided the c section. Highly recommend her.
Dr. Smith has been my doctor for over 13 years. Dr. Smith has delivered my almost 13 year old and my 7 year old, she is amazing and very smart. She knows her stuff & very down to earth. I absolutely love her.
Switched obgyns because my last one of 6 years eventually made me feel uncomfortable and did not want ro do anything about chronic pain i felt. As soon as i walked in the entire staff was friendly. I am very happy with their professionalism and concern about their patients.
Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at any health care facility. Communication is terrible they take over a week to return phone calls and instead of saying we could have done better they say maybe this is not the right practice for you
Ive been searching for a healthcare facility, more specifically which focus on women healthcare. I researched The Womens Group of Gwinnett and Im very happy with my healthcare provider/Nurse Practitioner, Anna Pollard. Shes amazing at what she does and really spend time with her patients. The staff is very friendly !!! I would highly recommend The Womens Group of Gwinnett for women looking for a great team of OB/GYN providers. Checkem out !!!
This is my 3rd pregnancy via c section. I was a little nervous because i had both of my babies in Tennessee so i dont know where i can find a good obgyn. So i decided to give them a try. My first visit was ok. But after that visit everything was going down hill. One doctor told me i had high blood pressure. My bp was 132/80 so they told me i had to see them two times out the week. Everytime i came i had to give blood. I had an emergency to attend to in Nashville and they told me they didnt tell me to leave i was shocked because my dad was in the hospital. What else i was supposed to do. So after i called to tell them. They called me back and dropped my care. I was 25 weeks pregnant. I was only gone for a week and a half and they told me im not getting care and the doctor was not getting paid. I will NEVER recommend nobody to this office because how they treated me. Thank God i left because i believe they were the cause of my bp. After they dropped my care and went to another office my bp has been in the 120s now and stable. And also when you go you dont see the same doctor.
She judged me for getting pregnant at a young age (19) and she didnt give me no prenatal pills for my pregnancy. She was rough with the ultrasound wand. I didnt like her way of handling my services. Didnt give me no advice about nausea and how to smooth my tummy. Didnt give me no type of advice about my pregnancy on whats safe and whats not. It was a horrible experience for me.
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Just so everyone got that, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. For going on 2 months now we have called and left messages regarding a bill that is in question and have yet to receive one call back from my wife’s countless voicemails. On two appointments, she has even presented billing with the concern, even the bill itself but was told to “not worry about it” and that it will be resolved only to receive the same bill over and over with threat being sent to collections if not paid. We just want real/ correct answers and cannot even get that. I understand things are different due to COVID right now but to not have the common courtesy to return multiple voicemails is unacceptable. My wife is content with the service she has received from the doctors which explains the average 3.5* reviews but their 0* customer service is the reason our second child will not be delivered by Women’s Group of Gwinnett.
I’ve been seeing the same dr for the past few years and I really like it here. They maintain the staff for the most part so it’s nice to see the same people every visit - especially since I visit once a year at minimum. Never had any issues with charges, service and they typically don’t take long to call you to the back. Would definitely recommend.
4/24 update: i called the same day and left a complaint on Shina Simon, practice admin VOICE MAIL. They never called but THE CLERK ADMIN, SHINY sent a CERTIFIED LETTER, explaining that i am no longer their patient. I already fired you, lil girl! How about an apology?! ....They deserve a zero! Tree Lane address still shows active but they moved to Lawrenceville 3 yrs ago. I was never told so I showed up to the wrong place and had to reschedule. I made it to the next appt and was then told they DO NOT ACCEPT MEDICARE! I am in a wheelchair so its not easy to get around! Disgusting lack of service and I was a patient in Snellville for 20 plus years! UNBELIEVABLE! Doctors who dont accept Medicare refuse to accept the discounted rates and greed is the driver! Go anywhere but here unless u want to be treated like a casual customer at a $5 haircut joint!
I love coming here because Rosy and Dr. Priscila Davis always make me feel better. I also go for my yearly check up and I can’t thank her enough for always being honest with me.I appreciate you all so much.
Everyone at the Women’s group of Gwinnett is absolutely amazing! Recently had my first child and couldn’t have asked for a better group of doctors through my pregnancy and delivery! Huge thanks to everyone at this practice.
The service was very pleasing and Dr Falkner was very knowledgeable about my medical history, and she very nice and kind, I appreciate all the friendly nurse assistances, they did their job very officially.
I joined the Pollard fan club 3 years ago, still loving her and her nurse! Very organized and knows what you need. The portal works well to communicate, too.
My first visit was absolutely amazing! They made my husband and I feel so welcomed, and made time to answer all our questions. So glad I switched OBGYNs for this pregnancy.
I felt comfortable and safe. The staff is warm and inviting and you can tell they love what they do! From check in, to exam and even getting my blood work everyone was polite and concerned.
Dr. Smith is simply the best. Genuinely cares about her patients. Very professional and compassionate. Her Nurse is awesome too.
The staff was nice and courteous. I also enjoyed that I did not have a long wait time. I was able to get a proper diagnosis and the Nurse Practitioner explained everything thoroughly and eased my concern.
I’ve been coming here for years and years. I’m never disappointed, actually quite the opposite. Dr. Iyoyo has a wonderful bedside manner. Their COVID precautions are top notch; and, wait times basically nonexistent.
Anna was wonderful! Knowledgeable and great personality. She made me feel comfortable and answered any questions I had.
I love this office, from the front office staff, to the nurses and the doctors. The doctors are very professional, yet personable. They are transparent, and upfront, and care about your specific situation. I would recommend this office for any OB Gyn needs.
Dr. Sabrina Falkner is very professional and caring. She listens to you, and also explains thoroughly any procedures or results performed.
I have been a client here for decades (not telling how many😂!). Though faces & places have changed, the level of thorough care, concern, and service has not! I am ALWAYS leaving my appointments feeling like I am most special. Thank you Dr. Troxler and the rest of the team💗
After waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes I had to reschedule my initial appointment. When I came in for the second appointment the front desk woman told me that it was actually for the following day when I had the card she gave me saying that it was in fact today and not tomorrow. Very disappointed in the over all lack of professionalism. I get it that things happen and doctors run behind but my time is just as valuable. If you value your time go ahead and do yourself a favor, dont come here
I love coming here nurse Fawn she’s my favorite she is Great it’s always a pleasure. Nurse Fawn is so positive always has me smiling Thanks a bunch for taking good care of me love Joy Wallace!
Absolutely LOVE Dr.Yo!!! The best’
I went here, but they refused to give me medical care. I had a certain medical and religious request, that he did not agree with. The doc I saw was very pompous and told me, that no matter what legal paper I signed or what verbal request I had, he would go against it. I would not recommend a place that will not respect your religious beliefs or medical requests. We all have things we are ok with and things we are not. It is our body and we should be able to decide what we will accept and will not accept. Doctors should not be able to do something to my body that I have requested not be done...where are our rights?
My favorite obgyn to go to. They have delivered both my children, they’re friendly and always send out reminders when you appointment is coming up. I’d recommend this doctors office to anyone.
Dr Falkner deliver my baby boy oct 25 2021 and she was so great, DR smith delivered my girl Jan 5 2019 and she was so great as well so patient and caring and my other favorite is DR iyoyo love all them my favorite obgyn doctors, very caring, and patient, great establishment, clean and organized as well
Upon arrival for my second appointment at this office, I was presented a form to sign agreeing to prepay over three thousand dollars for my birth in January. I told the office staff I wasnt comfortable agreeing to this and would just pay the hospital bill in full after birth. I was still in my first trimester at this point and was worried about losing the baby...so there would be no birth to prepay for. I expressed this to the front office and was told if you lose it, then well give you a refund. It was just so impersonal and she didnt care about any of my worries and told me to go home and talk to your husband about it. I spoke to my insurance company who told me I should just pay the actual bill once we actually gave birth in January. I repeated this to front office staff and she told me I MUST pay or I wouldnt be allowed to be a patient at this office, and told me I would face the same requirement anywhere else I went. I spoke to THREE other Ob/gyn offices who all said they do not require patients to prepay for birth. I switched to one of these offices for my care. After being turned away for this appointment, I received a bill in the mail (photo attached) still attempting to collect the full prepayment amount even though at this point they knew I was switching offices and would no longer be their patient so they would not even be performing the birth they were attempting to collect prepayment for.
I appreciate the friendly staff who handled my care with the utmost professionalism and courtesy from my arrival until my exit, labs included. Every person greeted me with a smile while being fast and efficient.
Ive been visiting this lawrenceville office for almost 5 years and have no complaints. Everyone from the front to the back is so professional and kind. Tell anyone I know or meet looking for a excellent provider that this is the place to go. Thanks GWG!!! Keep up the good work
I am 5 months pregnant. I called this office and the nurse refused to take me as a patient. Stating they only take so many high risk patients in a month. They did not even test me to know if I was high risk. One pregnancy is not the same as the next.
I love this place the nurse Practitioner Anna, and Dr. Faulkner and other doctors and nurse practitioners as well are the best in here and also not to leave out the assistance fawn joana Cassie and the other females that are great as well, you can express your situations to them and they do their best to helping you out!!
The clinic staff really believes in patient care. They have great procedures in place before, during and after your appointment. The facility is clean and the location is ideal.
Is already a little scary to go and see an OB/GYN but they were so nice and understanding. From the moment I called to schedule to the moment I walked out of the office, they were very professional and treated their patients with respect. 👍👍
I have been going to Dr. Y. Smith since 2008 or 2009, she is very thorough and listens intently to my ailments/complaints. She is very professional yet warm and inviting.
Dr. Smith is wonderful. So compassionate and personable. I love going to her office. The whole staff was courteous and professional.
They were very efficient and organized. I was able to begin and end my appointment in a timely manner. The staff and doctors were very pleasant and personable.
The care I received during my pregnancy was exceptional and all the nurses are very very nice n make all appts comfortable
Saw Dr.Iyoyo.. She is the best! I feel very comfortable with her. I love a doctor with no nonsense. She will not have you guessing.
