Tops Surgical Specialty Hospital

Best hospital experience I have ever had (TOPS - Red Oak). From the initial phone calls, to check in, staff, the building, even the food was top notch. The nursing/techs team was great. Everyone knew their job. The experience level seemed to be very high and everyone went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. At some hospitals you ask for something, they leave to go get it but it ends up being an hour before they get back. Not at TOPS. When I asked for something, I would have it in just a few minutes.I would highly recommend this facility.

Very friendly staff checking people in early in the morning, the nurses were cheerful and helpful, the doctor saw extra things that needed fixing and took care of them during surgery and met with me in person to discuss how well the surgery went. They took good care of my husband during surgery and after and gave clear instructions what to do at home for post-op. The lady at the front desk also had a warm blanket for me to keep me warm while waiting and they had free snacks. It is not a super huge place so everything is close and you dont have to walk a mile to get places yet their facilities are well equipped and very nice. Overall a very pleasant experience.

If anyone needs outpatient surgery, this is the place to go. The staff in all areas of the facility were so wonderful and caring. The nursing staff were all so professional and nice. Annie, Cindy, Kris, Simonne and Alfred just to name a few were there to see that all needs were met. I would definitely recommend this hospital for any of your surgical needs.

I was treated so well from check-in to roll out! The experience with Dr. Shar was very pleasant. Support staff, from everyone I made contact with beforehand, billing to your nurses and their support staff, anesthesiologist and recovery staff all the same, just a joy. Here at Tops Surgical Specialty Hospital I had a procedure done, and I must say I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. From the moment of intake, the staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. Dr. Pasha and his medical team were professional, caring, and attentive.The procedure went smoothly, and the postoperative care I received was top tier. Everyone was jovial and upbeat and had great energy, which helped ease my anxiety. If Tops is ever an option for any future procedures, I will definitely opt for them.

Tops surgical was hands down the cleanest and very efficient hospital! I had my gallbladder removed and hardly have any pain. They took the time to explain how everything was going to work and made me super comfortable!

I’m not a person who likes surgeries less alone hospital stays one thing I can say two things for sure the staff is amazing. The food was very different from other hospital food. I would most definitely recommend everyone who has surgery needs to visit this team of doctors surgeons.

Everyone went above and beyond to ease my anxiety and make me comfortable before and after surgery! Great bedside manner and that is hard to find now days. I would recommend them to everyone. And would definitely go back if I had to have surgery again.

I had a wonderful surgery. I had the sweetest nurse ever. And my anesthesiologist was great and he did a wonderful job and had me good and ready for surgery. Great customer service and a very wonderful staff. Dr Shar did a wonderful job and the recovery process was great as well. Thank you for a great experience.

Tops continues to go above and beyond my expectations. They are always professional, courteous, kind, personable, and very knowledgeable. I guess that I have had 6 or 7 procedures done at Tops in the last year and a half. I TRUST them completely. Cannot say enough about them.

Everything was first class the care and the food. But my departure assistance was not done well. My nurse was in at noon and I signed the paperwork. We were shooting for 2:00. An aide came in and after all the talk of not moving around the room without assistance she left me in the bathroom and did not return for an hour. So I just sat for an hour until she returned and asked why I wasn’t dressed. I told her I thought I wasn’t to move about without a nurse in attendance. She contradicted me and assured me that I was on my own. I dressed and packed up carefully. She wheeled me out to the car. Sadly I left the spirometer behind.

Wonderful people and to the nurse that showed my hubby how to use crutches. He still stinks at it. Bought a scooter instead.If you ever need foot surgery, these are the people to go to! Dr McTavish and his 2 nurses are just fantastic and they will do what needs to be done to make you comfy.And not worry!

My father is having surgery on his hip in a few weeks. He signed up for a class and pre-op tests. We were there for about 41/2 hours. I feel they can stream line the process, especially since the first hour we just sat there. The staff is extremely polite and they were a little busy, but need to be cognizant that people need to get other things done.

The experience was wonderful. Every member was very professional and easy to communicate with. I was impressed with there willingness to make me feel relaxed and comfortable. Would recommend them for any procedure that you might need.

My pre-admission for an upcoming total ankle replacement surgery was pleasant, fast and thorough. I had several tests that were all completed without delays.

Every employee of the hospital was first class. Each of them treated me like I was a member of the family, and went above and beyond to insure that I was as comfortable as possible, and fully informed about what was happening and what I should expect. Even the kitchen was great - cooking like they would at homeI highly recommend TOPS Surgical.

I stayed June 7 and June 8. The nurses and techs were very nice. A girl named Lindon was my nurse Saturday, I think early evening until Sunday early morning. She was so extra specially nice and kind to me. I was very disoriented and couldnt see well or hear because of the bandages. She was extremely gentle and understanding with me. The other girls were nice but not as great as her.There was also a tech named Kris who was also extremely kind and understanding. They both deserve a raise and to be noticed for their excellent work and their understanding..

Great place, was very comfortable there, nurses & staff were WONDERFUL.tho whoever took the tape off my eyes pulled skin off my face & the the Intubaition was very rough, throat was sore 2 days.Still, my Dr is Great and thats where we go

I had knee replacement at Tops and cannot say enough good things about my experience. From pre op, all the Brendas, to surgery Dr Dean, to post-op, Shayne Simone Fonda Annie Branda and Gloria, everyone is caring and nurturing. I would highly recommend this facility to any family member or friend. You cannot go wrong in working with them.

I thought they were fantastic! Very attentive when I got there. Please know if you are on any kind of mounjourno or epic or anything like that you have to not eat at all the day before surgery. Only a liquid diet. Very important or they can’t do your surgery

I was really impressed with my presurgical testing visit. They have baskets of snacks with water in a few places which I thought was a nice welcoming touch and really helpful. Front check-in was really helpful at both the testing check-in and the front door check-in. Very friendly , efficient, helpful. Facilities appeared to be clean, lots of hand sanitizer around. I spent time with a nurse doing pre surgery questions/review. She was very thorough and friendly. She answered all of my questions and was very pleasant and professional. Then I went to have my blood drawn and was very pleased . We had a nice conversation while he drew my blood and did my EKG with quick precision and ease. I barely felt the needle prick for the blood draw which I very much appreciate. Overall it was a wonderful experience and it was nice to get a glimpse of things at this hospital before I go in for surgery in a few weeks. It definitely boosted my confidence.

Tops Surgical Specialty Hospital is a place to be for your surgeries. From check-in to discharge, the staff are simply amazing. Great care! Presurgery with Sheralyn was excellent along with post-surgical care with Cindy (Cheryl? - post surgery fog brain). Alfred is a great Physical Therapist. Gives encouragement where needed. Surgery went well and I would definitely recommend TOPS Surgical Ctr. Should I need a future hip or knee replacement, this would be the place!!

My recent surgery at TOPS went very well. The pre-admission/lab work was quick and easy. Leslie gave me full information about what to expect. When I got to TOPS for my surgery everyone was courteous and professional. All of the nurses, Mary, Amanda, and Jason, and the anesthesiologist, Donovan, explained everything they were doing and made sure that I was comfortable at all times.Everyone made me feel that I was their main concern. Then, they called the next day to see how I was doing and if I had any follow-up questions. I would highly recommend this hospital for surgical needs and care.

Release nurse, especially rude. She made me feel unsafe in her care . I was very drowsy and couldnt get it together quickly. I pray that she dies not make others feel as I. I am a Doctor myself. I did not feel the need to tell anyone for it was not important. I was there for a service. I am not happy and will take this as far as needed. You never know who you are taking care of. Treat others with high dignity and respect.

I had surgery here on 6/27. The staff are the TOPs (sorry for the Dad joke) Thank you to Nurses Mary, Christy, Mel, Annie, and Effie who not only tended to my needs but also tended to my family’s concerns. They were a blessing. The anesthesiologists were also very good to ease my sole going into my first surgery and helping me find comfort before going under. I know that I was definitely not the first patient they saw that day but they was they acted was as if I was the most important one they were going to be helping.

My experience at TOPS was great! Everyone on staff was very nice and friendly. They made me feel very comfortable and at ease for the procedure. From the front desk, to the prep and the finish! They are great! If I do another procedure I will be very comfortable with them!

I am so glad I am not returning to TOPS for services! 1st of all, my entire deductible was collected, in error, for ultrasound and biopsy in Spring 2023. Then, when I had to have surgery, they started pestering me to pay the deductible, which as far as I was concerned, they had collected. They seem to have a philosophy at TOPS to worry the patient who is newly diagnosed with breast cancer to death about money, so we dont really consider having cancer so much.Since my surgery and claims have been finalized with my insurance, I have received no fewer than 3 bills that were charged in error!Run fast, run far! The medical side is fantastic, but the billing will worry you to death! Do not use TOPS services, unless you want to be badgered about erroneous billing from now until judgment day!

Very happy with my shirt stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Everyone from the front desk to the nurses made me feel comfortable.

Second time at Tops Surgical; first we went in for my husband umbilical Hernia and then this last time it was for my gallbladder removal and on these both visits we just loved how attentive, fast and caring the nurses, doctors and anesthesiologists are. From the moment we enter the ladies at front are very nice and welcoming. We have already recommended several friend and family due to our best experience there.

Surgery went well..been here 5 days now because of post op issues. staff is very attentive, professional & helpful. Cant say enough good things about them. Be careful for the fees they try to charge you up front and call your insurance company before you pay them.. also the food is not the best. Was excited to try some of the soup that sounded good since I could not eat much. But when i got it tastes like someone poured a can of salt in it. Couldnt even eat it. You would think a hospital would not have so much salt in their food. But again entire staff was awesome.

Every body was very attentive. My Nurse very suit she make me feel very comfortable and less nervous and after my Procedure it was another Male nurse incredibly helpful and nice, thank you for your help and support

Overall positive experience. Initial call back time was right on however once in pre-op long wait before I was take back for my procedure. Discharge was efficient.

This was my first surgery and I was very nervous. Everyone was so warm and inviting. All of my anxieties just melted away. I thanked all of the staff for their care for me. They were an answered prayer.

I recently had surgery at Tops. Very professional, capable and caring staff. I checked-in, and had only a short wait before being prepped for for my procedure. All went well and ended leaving earlier than expected. Staff took very good care of me at every of the way. Recommend this facility.

As a nurse I have been disappointed lately with the medical field UNTIL I went to TOPS. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am scheduled for Surgery and attended a session where we were educated on dos and donts, meet the anesthesiologist and physical therapist. I highly recommend TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital

My husband had knee replacement surgery at TOPS with Dr. Winkler which was a very successful surgery. He was so well taken care of by Dr. Roo and the staff of nurses who were so sweet and competent. Then there was a fabulous caring group of therapists. All in all, it was an A+ experience.

Excellent staff, especially pre-op nurse Brenda J. When in for meniscus tear. Arrived at 530. Pulled to the back by 6, Doctor came in at 7. Was heading home by 930. This place is amazing.

2nd time using TOPS for outpatient in last 3 years. Both times everything went smoothly from scheduling, pre-op, day of checkin to going home. Highly recommend and happy my Dr chose TOPS.

Facility was clean and temperature was cold. Bring some warm clothing if you dont like cold but makes sense for a surgery place. Everyone was very professional, nice and provided great service. The surgery went great!

I’m very glad I chose to have my knee replacement surgery done at TOPS. It’s not grand or pretentious, but it has great doctors, the best nursing care, and because it’s small, personal attention is given to patients which is most important for recovery. Everyone is so caring.I had my 1st knee surgery last year with Dr. Michael S. George and I was impressed, and when I returned last month to have my 2nd knee surgery with the same doctor, I was happy to note some positive changes. Both times I stayed 2 nights and I cannot say enough good things about the nurses Sarah, Jennifers, Jincy, Kelly, Felicia, Kris, and therapist Lennie. If I have left anyone out in error, I do apologize. You all were great!The food is very good and you get a lot of choices. I never thought I’d say this about hospital food, but the bread pudding is really something!I know some people were discouraged seeing the laundry carts kept in the hallway outside patient rooms, and this made them not choose TOPS. It makes me sad as it’s a minor issue, one that I’m sure TOPS can easily remedy.I would most definitely recommend TOPS to everyone for their surgical needs.May I add that my husband had a procedure last year with Dr.Turnquist and he was highly satisfied too.

Starting with pre op testing, every staff member looks you in the eye and greets you while asking if they can help. Day of surgery, again every staff member looks you in the eye and takes an interest. They are there for YOU. After surgery care was amazing, unlike larger hospitals, one of the many nurses answered the call bell within minutes and with a smile. At other hospitals, I have waited up to 45 mins for a nurse to answer the call. And most times have had to go to the nurse’s desk for help. The food was delicious. After returning home, I needed help during the night and again in the early morning. Phones were answered and help was given.TOPS is the medical care that you want when having surgery!

Tops Specialty Hospital is a great 16 bed surgery recovery beds so you get plenty of attention. The staff, Mel, Val, Simone and on and on, they were all attentive and helpful.

I’m rating the staff 10/10. My entire experience with the staff has been amazing! The pre op staff 10/10 as well as my 2 night nurses that went above and beyond to help me and to tend to me! I absolutely love them! Thank you ladies! It’s very rare that you find a good team and this one was it!

One complain I had about America is that patients are seen as products, not people.This place is the opposite, my relative and I felt very welcomed, they have coffee and tea, it’s very clean, and staff is always willing to help, friendly and caring. ❤️❤️❤️

Friendly professional top notch treatment. Been here before and the staff is great. Only problem I had was a miscommunication between the staff and my doctor. I was told nothing was listed for pain meds. I spent the first night in agony. I happened to check with my pharmacy the next day and found the doctor had called in two Rx, pain meds and antibiotics. Also my doctor never stopped in to see me before or after surgery.

Hospital staff does a Great job, I had a previous surgery at Tops 2 years ago.However, Tops Leadership team is poor at best. They have NO communication contingency planning in place!I understand weather delays and/or disruptions.But by Sunday 07-07-24 everyone knew Houstion was going to be effected by Hurricane Beryl.I called Sunday and was told surgery on schedule. I called again Monday, ONE HOUR prior to my surgery time and was told my surgery was still on schedule.Driving to the hospital 27 mins before my check in time, I received a call that all surgical procedures are postponed.Leadership team this is the best you can do?You might try putting together a communication contingency plan in place. Just a suggestion.

The nurses were amazing!! The experience was wonderful!! They made everything comfortable and easy. They helped ease you if your nervous and help you throughout the whole process.

Check in was easy. My nurse Brenda was amazing, Dr. Campbell and Dr Siddiqui with the anesthesia team explained everything thoroughly and were super kind. The OR nurses were great! I had complete confidence with my surgeon, Dr Hook. I’m very grateful for the teams at TOPS and highly recommend this surgery center.

I was very disappointed in the fact I was not contacted beforehand concerning information about current medications and questions requiring phone numbers. I did not bring my phone with me or my purse containing my medication list. I had been to Tops surgical approximately 2 years before and that was the information they tried to confirm when I was taken back in the preoperative area. Most of that information was not accurate concerning meds which had drastically changed and phone numbers were in my phone. I did not bring my purse or phone so as not to have to keep up with them. Could have saved alot of time and energy had it been done beforehand. Also my procedure was scheduled for 2:00. Unfortunately my doctor was running WAY BEHIND. I had none of my pain meds all day and by 1:30 or so I was very uncomfortable. I spoke to one of the doctors and he ordered a pain pill for me. My nurse had already left for the day so I no longer had an assigned care taker. It took over 40 minutes AFTER and 3 different nurses to FINALLY get the medicine. The last of the 3 nurses tried to blame the delay on the doctor by saying he was just then putting it in the computer. I knew this was in fact NOT true because the doctor had stopped by to see if they had in fact given me the pill. If I ever have to have something requiring day surgery I would try very hard NOT to do it at Tops. I also would never recommend them to anyone. Also during the delay to receive the meds I could hear the nurses gathered talking and laughing together as it was late in the day and also the day before a holiday. When you are already stressed and in pain listening to that while I was waiting to get the medicine does not make a good impression. Also I had to ring the nurse bell 3 times to find out why I not received the ordered med and the last one of the 3 showed very much how irritated they were that I was bothering them. I never want to have procedures done anywhere else. Over all the years that I have been a patient there, everything was always incredibly amazing - staff super friendly, rooms clean, procedures went smoothly & all those in my care were caring & kind.

I have used TOPS MULTIPLE TIMES over the past 8 years for ambulatory procedures. Their staff has consistently treated me as though I was thier only patient.Today Ill choose physicians based on whether they use Tops .Incredible people.

From my mom, Sondra Journeay.I had knee replacement surgery. I had to walk to restroom the first night. I was a little unstable when i walked to resroom. I thought i was going to fall and reached for the arm of the nurse. She jerked her arm away and said, Dont touch me. Another wobbly step and the nurses aid caught my arm. The nurse told her not to touch me or help me. By the time i got to my bed i was crying. I called my daughter to please come. I was not left alone by my family the rest of the time.I am a diabetic. They NEVER got my medicine right.My diet was awful. The last meal in the hospital was cole slaw and fried fish. I took 1 bite of slaw and one bite of the center of the fish and threw both of them up. The nurse was so patient and caring. She helped me get cleaned and changed.When i got home i was in such pain. I called to try to go back in. They would not let me. Nasty, mean people.I will never use this hospital again.

My experience with Tops Surgical Hospital was a great one from the the time I arrived until I left to go home the entire staff was very kind knowledgeable professional amazing respectful and wonderful It took me twenty minutes to have my procedure done I hadnt eaten for 24hours soon as I recovered I was offered something to eat and drink the thing I like the best was the staff everyone I came in contact with was positive and had excellent customer service skills the entire staff make you feel comfortable and relaxed. My overall experience was lovely honestly. The only person I wasn’t too pleased with is whoever the lady is that pushed the anesthesia through my iv. She also rolled me down to where I was gonna have surgery. I didn’t like her spirit or her energy it was very short. Everything else was perfectly fine. The other nurses were super nice to me. Especially the lady who told me about the mouth guard.

Excellent facility! So thorough. Staff is veryaccommodating. They took their time and explained everything. My second time for outpatient surgical needs. Would highly recommend.

Great hospital and great staff! EVERYONE is always professional and nice.They are always very detailed with surgery prep, information and are very thorough.Food is pretty good lol!I appreciate the customer service, because thats a huge part of a patients experience.

I’m pretty young to have to have the surgery I did. Every single person there was so welcoming and so nice. They made sure I knew what was going on every step. Not one person was condescending or disrespectful in any way. ALL staff was nice and easy to talk to. I may have annoyed them with my questions and my general conversations, but they never acted like I was putting them out. I had to stay over night be night, but I totally would have stayed longer just because the staff was so nice and helpful. Also, having the facilities and the help would have been nicer than over going home. I think they would have let me stay, but probably not the insurance company. The PT was so happy and very bubbly (very genuine and seemed to love his job). Everyone was very professional and respectful. If you act one way towards someone, they usually return the favor.

My mom has steroids injections only in back. This the first time her Pain Managent Dr uses this place and sent my mom there. She never got a call the day before to confirm or tell her no instructions. She wasnt having surgery they treated it like a surgery and she wasnt having surgery. They bruised my moms arms bad w the IV. In my opinion I dont believe they or the nurses knew how to put a IV in I believe they busted her veins and why she was asleep when she woke up her IV was in the other arm w there pokes were they tried to put her IV in they told my mom she pulled her IV out thats why it was in the other arm ( thats a lie) my mom has been thru so many Surgies that she has never pulled her IV out never so she has 3 pokes in her arm why 3? When it should of been done the first time. My moms arms are so bruised. I believe they busted her vein on the left arm. This place was horrible service. We will let her pain management dr know about this experience and will not go over to this place for any service. I have pics of what her arms look like.

I had carpal tunnel surgery in January 2024 and total knee replacement in May. Absolutely nothing negative to say. From the nursing staff to the food, everything was a very positive experience during a stressful time.

I recently had an epidural steroid injection in my back with Dr. Kanjia. All I can say is I was very impressed with the facility, the front desk check in and especially the nurses. They made me feel very comfortable and that I am in great hands. The nurses are super funny and caring. I am very terrified of needles and they made me laugh so hard that I wouldnt think about it. The procedure was very short and fast. Props to Dr. Kanjia, he is very knowledgeable and easy to approach with the questions i had. He is doing his best to help me recover from an injury I have incurred for a long while for many years.. I received a follow-up call from the hospital a day after and that made me feel very happy that they are concerned with my procedure. Thank you Tops Surgical Specialty House.

Topps has a great program to prepare you for upcoming knee surgery. You get great explanations as to why and how procedures will be done. Definitely reduced the stress factor of surgery.

Top is the perfect name for your hospital. The people tended to me get top billing. From the receptionist to the people in the prep room. Ms. Donna who has the mothering care to Ms. Kristina & Ms. Monica who were very concerned with my comfort. The surgery team: Dr. Shar has the best bedside manner and explained everything very clearly. The anesthesiologist was wonderful as well. Even the gentlemen that wheeled me to the car. Great hospital & the people in general are so awesome! I’m giving it a 2 star because I overpaid what the insurance told me to pay then it came out cheaper. I had to call Tops Surgical Hospital for 2 months straight for a refund! It was like pulling teeth, no one answered their phone nor did they return my calls. They didn’t have a problem taking my money but returning it was a whole different battle!

I had ACL and meniscus surgery here. The entire staff is very caring and on top of everything. They flow very well even though they see many surgeries per day, thats not their fault they seem overbooked thats the surgeons spitting out as many as they can per day $$. This is the hospital themselves. I am rating Tops hospital and not the surgeons who work based out of Tops. This hospital is very clean and equipped to deal with things that could possibly arise. They seem to care a great deal for your comfort. I would recommend them and use them again. Also very clean and you can reach them if you need answers after surgery because your surgeon wont respond....

This place has wonderful people working. First, I was greeted warmly and I felt like a person not like a number $$$ . I was given lots of information and prepared by whomI had a pleasure of meeting Dalila Rn . She made me comfortable, ready and helped me forget my nervousness. After that, Natalie took care of me , she wheeled me into surgery and proceeded to help me unto the next bed. All the time talking to me so not to get me worried about what was next. Then there was Stephanie, she was my recovery nurse. What a beautiful personality, she was by my side when I woke up and made sure I had something to eat and drink, made sure I was ready and able to go home . I had a very warm and wonderful experience not only with the nurses but My Doctor , Dr. Kanjia and also The anesthesia Dr.

I’ve had several procedures done at TOPS! This place FAR EXCEEDED my expectations even again !!. The care was head and shoulders above any other surgical center I’ve ever been to. The Nurse in Pre op Pat was very nice.. My CRNA did very well with me. I cannot remember her name but she is prob in the top 2 best CRNA’s I’ve ever had. my post op nurse Stephanie was very nice and accommodating. She stayed on top of my pain. TOPS has been nothing short of GREAT every single time I go. And unfortunately I go A LOT. Hell I should go ahead and just tell them to transfer the light bill into my name lol

My son had surgery on 10/9/2023. I was full of nerves. However everyone i talked to leading up to the surgery was so great. They were kind and caring. Which put this mommas heart at ease. I am so grateful for all of the staff and can’t say enough great things about TOPS!

All of the workers are fabulous here. You will not encounter one person that gives you an attitude or that doesnt want to help you. The best !! I had 2 procedures done there. They treat me with so much care and Comfort from the front desk to the nurses n doctors and ppl that dose anesthesia. Thay made me feel comfortable and at ease. The hospital was clean so was the bathroom. Clean waiting room .they have a snack area free coffee..

Nice staff! very helpful and competent staff.Dr. Turnquist was awesome 🤩 he answered all of my questions he has great bedside manners.Only thing that bothered me is that they called for money prior to surgery which is fine but no one ever called me to let me know what time to get there.I had to called the day prior and the lady said they will call you but if they don’t for me to call back. I called late afternoon and I spoke to another lady at told me on their end it shows @ 11am. Then they called me the day of my surgery about 7:45am and ask me if I could come in sooner than the time they originally told me. That was irritating. But overall service was great.

All staff were knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. It was a pleasurable experience and I highly recommend this facility.

Pre-op care was exceptional; my nurse, America, was kind, genuinely caring, professional, and efficient. She explained every step of what was happening before surgery and made it obvious that I was her main concern. The other staff who stopped by to share details of their involvement were also dedicated to their tasks, answering any questions I might have. I was sedated before going to the operating room, so the only other thing I remember was waking up to go home. The post-op care directions they included were detailed and easy to follow, so recouperation went smoothly.

I had hip replacement surgery last month at TOPS and the entire experience was excellent. The orientation before surgery was informative and when I checked in, the PreOp nurse had everything organized for me. She made sure I understood the process and time and was gentle and calming.The PostOp was the same experience, gentle and informative staff.All patients have a private room, and the support staff was quick to our requests, they even checked on me if too much time had passed, and I did not buzz for them. The physical therapists, Albert and Lennie were so kind, supportive and funny.After surgery, that evening, I was a little hungry and my husband called the kitchen and asked if they could bring some broth and Jello, it was a little late, but they said I could have anything I wanted. The food was excellent, fresh and seasoned.The facility is first rate, clean and modern, staff well trained, kind and provide the best care. It was a positive experience, and I cannot recommend enough.

Recently had a pre-surgery appt. with Jean, preop nurse. Great experience. Fast, friendly, funny. Second time Ive been there. The staff is wonderfully professional, efficient and comfortable to be with. They make you feel important.

The pre-registration was fast and friendly. Checking in was fast and the front desk lady was knowledgeable. Preoperative nurse was friendly ,kind and fast. What I didnt like was the anesthesiologist nurse . She didnt even telling she was giving medication until I felt the cold burn . My right arm hurt the whole day. Also they cut the top inside of my lip with assuming was the tube ? My thorat still bothers me And I kinda felt rush out , after the surgery. 4 stars just because I cant do a 3.5.

I have been coming to TOPS for almost a year now. Every time is exceptional! The nursing staff is so friendly and patient. My last couple of times I had Brenda getting me ready for the procedure, she was very friendly and quick to get me ready. I enjoyed talking with her, very friendly. Stephanie was there taking care of me when I woke up. She was also very friendly and I also enjoyed talking with her. She also got me out in good time because she knew I lived almost an hour away. She made sure I was safe to leave of course. Im so Glas to come here and have my procedures done here. From the front desk to nursing staff, everyone is exceptional! Thank you all for the care you give me!!

The entire experience, from phone pre-consultations to check-in, the nurses and staff prepping for the procedure, in the operating room and recovery, also my doctor, was extremely positive - actually pleasant! Everyone was so nice to me, and all were highly competent and went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and felt cared for. Ill be going back soon for orthopedic surgery, and look forward to being there again.

The staff is wonderful. My nurses were Amy, Mel and Cristy and they were just stellar! The facility is still nice despite its age. The room was spacious and well appointed with a sofa bed for family to stay the night. The finance department has always been bad but the nurses are great and in this case the other staff made up for the dismal financial department

My pro-op nurse, Brenda, was amazing. She started my IV with the first stick. She was constantly checking on me. My nerves get so rattled that I cry. I just cant help it. She went to the anesthesiologist and asked for something to ease the anxiety. She took very good care of me.i dont remember much about recovery and thats good b/c it means that nothing bad happened or I would remember it. The rest of the staff was great, too. I had a knee-replacement surgery which meant I couldnt get up to go to the restroom on my own. Every time I pushed my call button, someone was there quickly to help me to the restroom or with whatever I needed. Great job, folks! Great job, TOPS Surgical Specialty Hospital!

Very positive experience!! I had never been to TOPS before and found it to be a clean, modern and attractive facility. Ample parking was a plus. Everyone was so professional and helpful. The nurses in preop area told me exactly what was happening, what to expect in the OR and answered all my questions. The medical staff are outstanding from pre-op to OR to recovery. Highly recommend your facility.

Everything is handled so professionally AND at the same time with such care for me, my family and my dignity. I previously had my injection in the office but the result was not the same. My mother was recently there for surgery on her wrist. The entire staff was absolutely phenomenal and extremely professional. Her surgical nurse has called her everyday to check on her post-op and he honestly cares a lot about his patients. Nobody wants to have surgery but this place is top notch and they truly go out of their way to make you comfortable at all times. I would highly recommend anyone who is in need of outpatient surgery to come here! They are incredible!

Had a great experience for my procedure. The facility was top-notch. The receptionists were efficient and friendly. The nurses were amazing (thanks Brenda, Francine, Todd), Pam the tech is the best, anesthesia was super attentive and of course Dr Pascha is superb in being thorough and also communicating clearly. I make a special point of driving here for my procedures.
