Planned Parenthood - Yonkers Center

I’ve been coming here recently and i love it!Walking into the office being greeted with a smile. The lovely ladies at the front are always so pleasant. The nurses and clinicians are very respectful they hear all your concerns and needs and help you. Completely a judge free zone here! Also this is a very clean facility.

I’ve been going to this particular location for over 15 years, and I always had a great experience, but I must say that today was one of the best visits that I’ve ever had. I was seen by the clinician Dasha Armstead. She was kind, took her time listening to my concerns & was gentle & patient. She made me feel comfortable and at ease . I left there with all my questions answered and happy with my visit overall. The front desk and MA were also very nice , accommodating & professional. Highly recommend the office and their staff!!

I was scared to make an appointment at this location because of the bad reviews but I was pleasantly surprised when I got there . Every staff member I encountered that day were very professional & welcoming from the nurses down to the security . The anesthesiologist Holly was AMAZING and her compassion really stood out to me. She made me feel like I wasn’t alone in my situation and reassured me with positive affirmations. I can’t stress how much I appreciated that because for once I felt like I wasn’t just at a doctor but with someone who actually cares . The wait time was kind of long but that’s expected when you have doctors & nurses that actually take the time out to listen to what you have to say .

Everyone is super nice at this location! Front desk to the nurse to the NP. They aren’t open every Saturday and have unusual hours but overall everyone is doing their best to give great care to people who need it!

People at the front desk.. plain out rude & dry ! Being in the medical field, you’d expect these people to be more welcoming & nice but the people at the front desk were the complete opposite. I went in a few months ago- and it had been my first time going in, so i’d expect to be treated better & have a pleasurable experience but it wasn’t. One of the ladies had a whole argument with my sister because she was taking an emergency phone call & she just started shouting at her in front of everyone ! However, the nurses & doctor who attended me were the complete opposite- they made me feel safe & in good hands . Wouldn’t recommend going here, unless you’re very patient for rude un polite people .

I had a pleasant experience at this location. The staff was friendly, professional, and informative. Yes, its difficult to get in contact with the office, getting a general representative whom acts as a middle man. But, other than that, not a bad experience. I will return to this location.

Prob the worst experience i have ever had with a reproductive health provider, I had to come here because the clinic I normally go to was closed and I was referred to this one. In comparison to the mount Vernon location this place is disgusting not even the waiting room is well maintained. The entire staff does not seem so bad but i mostly interacted with one person. The front desk operations should be handled by someone more competent than the PCA who holds that position, she is not at all empathetic, does not know how to speak properly in a professional environment and does not know how to provide adequate resolutions to people when they ask questions or look for guidance when she can not offer a solution. On my way out a few other ladies who were visiting mentioned the same thing in the elevator so I know my experience was not the only one. in order to uphold the reputation of the organization they are representing they should have some NICE people in the front and also teach the people who are already there the proper form to speak to another human being as the attitude is not necessary. The only person who was helpful here was someone who does not even work there regularly they should definitely look into the productivity and efficiency of the team that they have running this clinic.

The front desk people need to be more friendly. The first thing people come and see are the people in the front desk. Being in the medical field i have come to understand that they are the first people that need to give the people a good first impression. You want your clients to come back, not leaving and saying that their experience was highly unsatisfying.

In all of my life I have never had a doctor explain to me in detail, all of my options. They were patient, kind, and took the time to educate me on everything I had questions about. Best experience at a doctors appointment I have ever had!

The woman working the front desk has a nasty attitude and is unprofessional and dismissive. She has no business working in health care or with the general public. She is a straight up bully.

The staff and midwife was super great. Very attentive. Plus the facility is very clean. Im going to start going to there for all my feminem needs. Keep up the good work 👍

I don’t appreciate being early for my appointment and STILL 30 mins later haven’t been called in, mind you, there’s two others here and last I checked they don’t take walk ins… also all this after the ppl in the lobby interfered in my business, I don’t need someone to press the elevator buttons for me.

Was left on hold for 30 mins. When I decided to let them call me back they never did. When I was finally able to get there (spent money on an Uber) being told they were closing at 1:30. When it clearly says they are closing at 2. I called the office multiple times starting at 11 to ask what’s the latest I can come. I had no choice but to spend money to go to a different location. Will never return.

Always professional and courteous with hardly a wait. Highly recommend

Ladies at the front desk were so rude it was my first time being there so you’d think they’d be a little more helping and welcoming but they weren’t and the some lady was so rude and left her chair so somebody else had to help me

Dr Debra nodiff is the best n her nurse Mary too they was able to put the IUD since IHad so many doctors trying to insert it,, I give them an excellent service.

I went to this clinic for an abortion and no it wasn’t the most pleasant feeling but I’m completely satisfied the staff is very kind and attentive the doctor is amazing she walked me through step by step before I left the clinic I did everything she told me to do and it all went great I wanna say thanks oh and this is officially my gyn clinic I recommend this establishment to anyoneKeep up the good work!

The lady at the front desk is rude, and unprofessional. I’m rating three starts just because ppl at the back were very nice.

Everyone in the front desk and everyone in the back especially the midwife are very rude for no reason at all and completely lost half a sleep I recommend everyone kick rocks before wasting your time in this planned parenthood

Went to do a walk in appointment on Saturday, lady at the front desk asked me if I had an appointment or a walk in, I said Im walking in and she said they dont do walk in appointments today, and it dosent mention that anywhere on the site. Ridiculous.

I called them for make appointment for my second HPV shot, the stuff who picked up the phone had the worst attitude !

Front desk staff were rude and unprofessional. Never coming here again.
