Dr. Lee and the staff of the GSP have provided me with incredible care in the past three months.This office serves a large population and does so with professionalism and skill. I was able to schedule a follow up appointment after a surgery with Dr. Lee in about a months time, and received my surgery results sooner. My entire care team throughout the surgery process was highly capable, courteous, and transparent.The voicemail is sometimes full, given how many services this office provides. Be persistent in following up, and you will receive high quality care from this team.Thank you, Dr. Lee and associates!

Dr. Lee was professional, yet easy to talk to. I felt comfortable sharing my medical concerns with her. She listened, gave feedback and offered next steps and treatment options.

Called ahead to schedule an appointment, received confirmation. When I arrived, apparently they were double booked and had to cancel ON THE SPOT. Their next available time was weeks later, so I booked it then, but received 0 confirmation and was not notified at all via email or phone call like before.Interaction with the receptionist was very rude, I didnt feel welcome at all. I understand that things were busy that day, but they barely referred to me directly, otherwise ignoring me, and had absolutely no respect for my time.

I was recommended Dr. Lee by a friend who had hysterectomy done by her. Dr. Lee is professional meaning she is an expert and performed my recent hysteroscopy in exactly that way. She is not one for cozy small talk which is a relief. She just gets straight to the point and does what is needed with finesse.Her desk staff could be a little more attentive- thats the only criticism I offer.

I trust Dr. Lee implicitly. She is not only an expert in her field, your health and wellbeing are her priority. She make her astute medical recommendations with your best interest in mind.

AVOID THIS PLACE!!! I have never in my life been jerked around by a doctors office like this and it has only been six months. The receptionists are the rudest people I have ever spoken to-- hostile, theyll hang up on you if you call and theyll be downright mean if you see them in person. This office has messed up my medications so many times that Ive been thrown back into premature menopause because they cant figure out how to phone in a prescription at the correct dose. It will take them days to get back to you if you have an issue, and thats if they bother to call you back at all. Most of the time theyll ignore your call. And whats worse, in the office there are tons of advertisements for hair removal and weight loss! What kind of place is this?! Avoid this place like the plague.Update: I have been discharged from this practice with no notification whatsoever, I only found out when I tried to schedule an unexpected appointment due to a medication issue before I was able to find a new doctor. Wow.

I made a new patient annual visit online and was able to get in pretty quickly, but accidentally went to the wrong office. The office staff was so incredibly nice and understanding and rescheduled my appointment the same day. My appointment was with Joanna Lind, who was friendly, patient, understanding, and informative. She made me feel very comfortable and validated all of my concerns. Such a positive experience that I have been telling all my friends to switch over ASAP!!

Such as amazing doctor that has such a great bedside manner.

My first visit, Dr.Lind tried to force me to start birth control “because it works so well for her” without even knowing what my problem was, or looking at any lab results. My next appointment, I arrived 5 minutes late (still within the 15 minute grace period), signed in, and sat and waited while the only receptionist was on the phone. 10 minutes later (now at the end of my 15 minute grace period) the receptionist gets off the phone to tell me I can’t be seen because the 15 minute grace period is over. The waiting room was empty from the time I arrived to the time I left. Their priority is not taking care of women and their bodies. That is clear from the treatment that you receive from staff.

The staff and doctor was so caring I felt for comfortable the moment I stepped into the office. Im a nervous person with low pain tolerance. Dr Lee did what others doctors want do she recommended sedation so I be able to do a somewhat invasive test that was needed. Im so thankful I had anxiety about this test that It was stopping me from getting surgery. I was recommended to her and Im glad I chose her.Google her she has been rated top doctor.

I was scheduled for a problem visit today. When I arrived, I was told they had no record of my appointment. Later in the convo, they admitted they had a blank chart, which is created when appointments are scheduled, but I was not on the schedule. They immediately offered to reschedule for seven days away. I explained that its a problem visit, and I have serious medical concerns. Suddenly, there was a cancellation two hours later. They lacked empathy, no one apologized, and their attitudes were nonchalant. Therefore, I decided not to accept the appt. This was a huge inconvenience for me, and their staff needs customer service training.

The doctor is always wonderful. The receptionist need a trainer in hippa. She was yelling patients information across the waiting area instead of calling them to the front desk. Also she was unable to make my follow appointment. My exam was quick and easy. Dr Lee answered all my questions.

I trust Dr. Sonya Lee. Her years of experience shows and I feel comfortable with her. I’ve been seeing her for a few years now. She’s honest, direct and makes sure before anything if I have questions to ask her. She listens carefully and always gives me her honest opinion.

Dr. Lee is knowledgeable and skilled and answers any questions I may have. I feel confident Im getting the gynecological medical information and care I need.

Dr. Lee is a great person and doctor. I have been going to her for atleast 10 years. She shows concern about your health. Her staff is very friendly and helpful. Her office is conveniently located.

The worst at getting back to you. Also I am in college due to that I have not been back to the office recently. With my condition they told me that they could no longer give me my medication and I would have to come in for an appointment and until then I would just suffer with my symptoms. Keep in mind my schooling is in a different state! Will never go back, it’s sad that these are people that are supposed to help and not let you suffer!

Dr Lee and her staff are great! I was having a problem, they scheduled me for a soon appointment where I needed surgery. Most doctors don’t listen to their patients now a days. Dr.Lee took the time to examine me, answer my questions, and addressed all my concerns.

Dr. Lee is honest and communicates everything, which I really appreciate. The resident (who’s name I forget) was also incredible and had a wonderful bedside manner. Both doctors, and their team, made my partner and I feel comfortable and answered all of our questions without rushing. Great office—hands down.

I couldn’t be more grateful to have become one of Dr. Lee’s patients. She is the consummate professional in her field and took great care of me during my recent surgery. Her staff is pleasant and efficient.. They get things done! Eliza, the surgical coordinator stayed on top of things until she was able to coordinate my two surgeries so that Dr. Lee and my other surgeon Dr. Harbison could perform both surgeries while I was under general anesthesia only once.

Firstly, the staff is friendly, kind and caring. The office is clean and comfortable. Dr. Lee is an amazing physician. I felt very comfortable, heard and well informed. All my needs were met by Dr. Lee and here staff.

I have a lot of respect for Dr. Lee. She is a wonderful person and a more talented gynecologist.She performed a surgery for me 3 years ago. I am quite the whimp and had a million questions -after surgery. The surgery went well and she took the time to calm me and ease my fears and explain things.Her office staff at both locations are top notch. Very friendly and very helpful.

Was referred to Dr. Sonia Lee and she was straightforward but wasn’t dismissive. She listened to our concerns and was willing to work with us but managed our expectations realistically.

The receptionist in person was helpful, but not the receptionist on the phone. I have to do a follow up appointment soon. I will make the appoint via their website as recommended. I did my follow up and Dr. Lee humbly recommended another surgeon for my healing. I took the recommendation and I will have surgery very soon.

Been looking for a new Dr. since mine retired. It hasn’t been an easy process. But I think my first meeting and exam with Dr. Lee went well. She listened and offered advice. It’s difficult to find a dr. for menopause issues.

My first experience in this office was in 2019. I got an Annual check up with Linda Romano and the service was normal and civilized. Last year I went back and on that occasion the only doctor available was Alyssa Davis (this was my first experience with her.) I was told that my PAP test from 2019 was sufficient because I’m under 30 and it wasn’t necessary to redo it in 2021. They charged my insurance for it anyways back in 2021 in addition to other services that I did request. Now in 2022 (January) I went back for an annual check and when I got there, the receptionist sent me to the examination room. Once I was already there and undressed she knocked the door and told me that an annual check was totally unnecessary again. Even though my last PAP exam was in 2019. The way that this lady talked to me was the most inhumane way that anybody has ever spoken to me. It is incredible to imagine that they work with PEOPLE. The receptionist also mentioned that I had to pay a copay of 20 for my visit. I agreed to that and I asked her if I should Ieave the room and pay first. I was baffled that she didn’t mention that in the reception area, I was really confused with the way she was talking to me. She said if you leave this room you’ll have to reschedule the appointment. She definitely threatened me. After that, I requested to have direct communication with Alyssa Davis. She came to the room and explained everything in detail (which that the receptionist didn’t do it with her aggressive approach) after that, Alyssa Davis checked me superficially and she told me to do a urine exam. When she closed the door after seeing me she said out loud WHAT A DAY! I believe that this team is unprofessional and they seem to have a racial animus against people like me. The story unfortunately doesn’t end here. After getting dressed I went again to the reception area and the receptionist asked me if there was any that she could me help me with in an ironic and rude tone. I told her that I wanted to pay the copay that she previously mentioned, I was waiting for her to give me the urine cup too. She said that there wasn’t any copay and cut the flow of communications definitively. I believe the treatment that I received today was despicable. Nobody should be treated like this, especially when they are paying for this “service”.

I love Dr. Lee! I was nervous going into this whole process, I had to get a hysterectomy and I had to get cut, because I had too many fibroids and my uterus was too big to take out laparoscopically. I was so scared, but Dr. Lee explain the whole procedure step by step and it really put my mind at ease. Her bedside manner was warm and genuine. I am 2.5 weeks post-op and I feel great! I would definitely recommend Dr. Lee to every woman I know!

I am so grateful for Dr Lee. She has help me to regain my confidence. After looking like I was six months pregnant due to grossly enlarged fibroids, Dr Lee was able to remove them and brought my appearance back to normal. Words are not enough to show my gratitude. Very welcoming when I walked in to the receptionist desk. Wait time wasn’t too long, Dr. Lee is very sweet. She’s attentive to your concerns and thoroughly explains your situation. I was very comfortable in talking with her.

I have been dealing with female issues for many years. From constant pain since my teenage years to infertility. 13 years ago my medical miracle son was born. Nothing but more pain and discomfort since. Various doctors always wanted to just keep trying meds. They worked somewhat for a while, but didn’t alleviate all of my pain and eventually stopped working! I decided I had to do something and found Dr. Lee!!! She listened and heard my struggle. She gave me options and let me choose what was best for me and my body!!! I am only 7 weeks out from a challenging hysterectomy where my uterus had adhered to my bladder. Had I gone to any general OBGYN they would have not been able to do the surgery. I feel better than I have felt in years!!!! She is amazing and I am so thankful for her and her medical expertise!!! She gave me my life back!!! Thanks Dr. Lee!!!!

Recently seen here, the exam room was disgustingly dirty. During covid Im extremely concerned about the lack of cleanliness, dust piled up on everything. Patient dirty robes are kept in a laundry bag by the top of the bed. When the doctor came in for the exam and shut the door, dust filled the room. I was actually glad to have had on a mask because I suffer from severe allergies.When I asked to switch to a clean room I was told all the rooms are the same which I would assume meant dirty. Staff was rude, nurse talks around patients opposed to speaking to them directly. When I called this office for follow up they insist, I need another appointment which cost me $50 per visit. Was seen by Dr. Alyssa Davis. I have pictures of the room from that day.

Dr. Lee is compassionate and sympathetic when it comes to listening to your challanges. She is someone that will take your whole history into accunt and hear you out, of which allows for collaboration on your health rather than just being prescriptive. This is very much appreciated when you have struggled for years. High recommend Dr. Lee.

I got an IUD here and it went as well as i could’ve hoped for! Alyssa Davis did an amazing job of calming my nerves and performed the insertion perfectly. I experienced minimal, brief discomfort👍10/10 would recommend

I called to setup an appointment for their 9th street location (there was not an online option to book an appointment). Their phone receptionist confirmed the 9th street location when I set an appointment. The day of the appointment I get to the 9th street location only to find out that my appointment was actually for the 39th street location, at Penn. I called the Penn location and told them I’d be a few minutes late due to the mixup their receptionist caused. I made it to the office 11 minutes late (less than the standard 15 minute grace period), and was told they couldn’t see me and I would need to reschedule, which isn’t easy with working full time and with the holidays at the end of the year. I left and will not be rescheduling or spending any money at this practice. Their lack of help or willingness to resolve this issue was unacceptable and I do not recommend you utilize this practice.

I was very nervous prior to having to the point here I put it off for awhile, which did not help my situation. Dr.Lee did an excellent job. I healed pretty quickly, with minor scarring for such a big procedure. I will definitely recommend anyone to Dr.Lee for gyn services and care.

Doctor Linda Romano is an absolute asset to Gynecology. Ive had a lot of experience with Gynecologists over the years and have never left with an overall great feeling of my experiences. Dr. Linda Romano changed that. I am also in the medical field and have a very knowledgeable understanding of patient-doctor relationships and how to maximize experience with a positive experience. Dr. Romano is incredibly talented at educating with careful and thorough communication, which I cannot stress the importance of. Ive had gynecologists understand a complicated diagnosis but not spend the time to really hash out all of their patients concerns. Dr. Romano is the opposite. She wants to talk issues out until you feel comfortable with how you understand everything going on. She is also quick to reply should you need advice via the application they use or anything else. I highly recommend and I would choose no other doctor handling my gynecological health.

Everything went well and the wait time was very short.

I have been diagnosed with endometriosis at 49 yo. Dr. Lee came up with a plan of care that I am comfortable with and made sense to me. As a former ICU nurse, I ask a lot of follow up questions and am very selective in which Providers I choose.

I arrived for my appointment at the medical complex and called the office for directions. I was immediately but on a 10 minute hold and when I finally got through the receptionist told me my appointment was cancelled automatically because I was late (by 10 minutes). When I went to contact Penn about this, I learned that the office is a private practice despite being at Penn Presbyterian.

Dr. Lee is the first doctor who has ever taken me seriously. Suffering from chronic pelvic pain due to fibroids, possible adenomyosis, & possible endometriosis, she is not the one to throw a pill at you to claim itll fix everything. She is about getting a real plan together that works best for her patient! After 10+ years or searching, I have found my obgyn finally! She is very well educated, compassionate, & actually LISTENS! So wish I found her sooner! So glad I found her!

Was a patient there but started getting after hours robo phone calls from their office about laser hair removal and weight loss programs. Why is a womens reproductive health center trying to sell their patients weight loss and hair removal? Why are they using the phone number I gave them so they could call me about test results to call me at 7 PM about advertising.I asked to be removed from this list they never should have had in the first place 3 times and finally I told them I was switching to another OBGYN and would no longer be a patient there and I STILL get spam calls from them.Unethical, shady practices that dont stop when you ask them to.

Management is rude and unprofessional. Never saw a doctor , just PA. This office is NOT affiliated with PENN, the doctor in charge of this private practice treats patients like turning tables at a restaurant, zero regard for human decency. Pathetic, go anywhere else!

I love what Dr.lee has done for me over the last few months however since the surgery I do feel like all of my follow up visits have been rushed and I don’t like that very much.

My only concern was that it took the doctor 2 days to send my prescription to my pharmacy. Other than that Dr Lee was very pleasant and understanding to my needs and concerns.
