The doctor is very thorough, kind with great side manner. My visit was at the blue bell location. However, the medical assistant used a automatic blood pressure machine which did not give accurate blood pressure that was extremely elevated .I had another doctors appointment a few hours later and pressure was normal as it always is. They need to consider only using the manual cuff to give accurate blood pressure to patients.

I went here as a young adult until I was about 30. Every year I explained my pain. They filled out my FMLA for work but never said lets get more testing done. Only offered birth control which I declined because I tried it and had terrible side effects.I moved to Georgia and had my first pelvic ultrasound EVER. It was found that I have a mullerian birth defect called a septum. It is also common to have endometriosis with a septum.I then had a exploratory laparoscopy and they found endometriosis basically everywhere.I feel that the doctors here followed a check list of questions and thats all they care about. Im sad that no one gave me better guidance with my health in my 20s. I feel like time has been taken from me and starting a family. Its sad. I just hope to help someone who maybe struggling and needs to know their pain is real, and to go seek help if they are dismissed.

THE MOST EMBARRASSING MEDICAL APPOINTMENT EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL AND DISCRIMINATORY. SEEKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST THIS PRACTICE.Someone on their staff labeled me a Transgendered Male and Female and a lesbian. What does my sexual orientation have with me getting a cervical screening obviously for WOMEN. Why was I labeled and embarrassed because someone assumed what they thought I was instead of asking. This office is highly unprofessional and lacks cultural compentency something I outlined for the Office manager when we met. Its sad I was highly embarrassed, belittled and discriminated against I am SEEKING LEGAL ACTION! 3 yrs ago I was asked about hormones during my exam and I didnt understand why and had to speak to Britany office manager then like I did the other day. So you all have been labeled me whatever you thought I was .There was no follow up just Im sorry and it was taken lightly like it was last time because I am in your system as a Transgendered Male and when I asked 3 yrs ago why was I being asked about hormones I was told a lame lie that all women are asked the same questions which wasnt true and was a falsehood.I am going to the media, any lawyer who will take the case and if you all try to delete Ill repost it again.Looking at your other poor reviews proves my point along with evidence of your monitor of the electronic chart and what was put on there, the mammogram letter from Chestnut Hill Womens center that referred to me as Mr. Hargrove which again I am an educated Black woman named Ms. Hargrove not Mr. but because I am labeled in the Temple Health system by OBGYN as a Transgendered male this mistake is across the board. You cant label ppl what you assume. Its discrimination and something will be done about it.

Not really happy with this particular gyn/ practice. I dont think that men truly understand womens needs. And I will never have a male doctor ever again after My experience. After requesting a medication over and over and being told to use a more holistic approach or using a different medication for the same problem is maddening. But what do I know? Im just a female trying to explain why certain medications can be extremely uncomfortable for me when you have to continuously Insert it inside of you. Maybe I dont wanna use a gel Or cream suppository for an issue. Maybe I would prefer a pill form of that particular antibiotic That many women use for the same issues. I think only women understand the inconvenience and how uncomfortable it is Inserting creams and gels in you. Of course , I was given the option to go somewhere else. How nice of them lol and thats what im going to do. Like, what a joke. I guess doctors these days do what they want to do, not whats the most comfortable or helpful for their patients. But again , what do I know? I will never , ever ever have a male doctor ever again. Im so glad that this place showed me that. Ive never been so excited to go somewhere else. Ladies if you want to use a gynecologist who actually listens to your concerns, dont go here. Lol. Save yourself the aggravation.

I was a patient here for almost 3 years. I saw Dr. Sonia Shaw for my appointments. Long story short, I’ve been suffering from fibroids for years she scheduled me a scan, and then never showed up for our follow up appointment, which was virtual. I used an hour of PTO and sat in a break room at work so I could discuss my test results with her, she never showed up on the call and then she marked in my chart that I was the no-show- instead of reaching out to me. That was a year ago, Since then I made a new appointment at Penn medicine and took the test results to them. They scheduled me for a hysterectomy that day, based off the scan she had ordered and ignored. Don’t let your doctors make you feel like you’re crazy, when its simply them just not caring about your issues.

Dealing with Chestnut Hill GYN staff is very challenging to work with. They drop the ball like 0a hot potato from scheduling procedures, listening to the patient and comprehending, to collecting the payment. No accountability at all. I never experienced such poor service in a hospital setting. I will be seeking future care from a different health system.

This is not for any doctor, but for a receptionist whose name Ill add later. This woman was so very KIND on the phone and in person (during previous visits). Ive had a rough experience with Jefferson Radiology in Blair Mill, and my ordering Dr was in Chestnut Hill. I needed an advocate because Jefferson was being extremely difficult. This receptionist took time to follow up on my behalf. We werent successful regarding my records, but the fact that she took time to speak up for me was so so appreciated. I wish her nothing but the best. Once I get her name, Ill add it. She was at the desk around 11a on 8/9/23. So very kind.

I’m a new patient here but had a fantastic experience. From the moment I walked in this office was amazing to me!! I could not have had a better experience. K at the front desk was amazing, she happened to be in the hallway on my way in and directed me to the suite, as temple just took over and things are a little bit confusing. K was so welcoming! She talked to me about everything, including double checking my copay and ensuring my visit was comfortable and as easy as possible for me at checkout. Dr. E was great with explaining everything as she went along and answered all questions I had. I am very glad I found this office. Thank you ladies!!!

Ive been going here for years. I loved it at one point. Went through two pregnancies here. I like my current doctor but lately Ive been considering changing practices. I dont care for being hung up on constantly when Im trying to call to make an appointment or get my prescription filled. This has happened several times. The phones rings a few times someone picks up and just hangs the phone up without saying anything. Very rude and unprofessional. I call back, same thing. And Im not sure why they keep changing my dr. when making my appointments.

I was been a patient at this clinic since the 1990s even delivered a child at this hospital . But boy how things have changed and not for the better. I was ordered a MRI but the order expired. I have been waiting 2 weeks for the authorization, Making phone 1calls there on hold for longperiods of time, not receiving call backs from anyone. I was told the person that does the percertifcatition is either on vacation or away from her desk. I think its time for me to go somewhere else. .At this very moment I have been on hold for 35 minutes waiting for this order to be put in. Help!!!moment I M on tM on hold its been 35 minutes soon far . help!!!!

The receptionist, her name is Tanya, very rude and condescending. Upon my arrival she asked do you have an appointment, I said yes, she says for, so I gave her the time of my appointment, and she says to me well you’re not all together, let’s start over, maybe you’ll get it this time. First of all I was extremely nervous because of the type of test I was there for. There was no need for her to be rude to me. Also, as I sat in the waiting area, she took several phone calls from patients requesting appointments, after every call this woman made a negative comment to her coworker about the person that called. She’s need a customer service refresher course. Smh.

Trying to make an appointment for my annual mammogram since my diagnosis of breast cancer 3 years ago was a nightmare. After speaking to 3 people in different departments I had to speak to a Lady by the name of Mora. After going in circles for 15mins just to schedule I am now completely frustrated and her attitude made my experience 10 times worst. Instead of understanding the inconvenience of the hold time, the given the incorrect numbers to call, the lack of knowledge of the people who answers the phone she (Mora) had no compassion, or patients. So in doing so ,myself, my mother, my grandmother, my 3 sisters and my niece will never come there ever again. Weve been loyal patients for a very long time. Dr. Bailey was already really truly missed yet we still came to this office. So Chestnut Women center you can thank Ms. Mora for causing ALOT of money to walk out of your door especially a breast cancer survivor.

Hi, my name is Tricia W-B. I have been with chestnut hill hospital for over 23 years so Ive used every aspect of the hospital. I have never had a problem with this hospital or anything related to it. The doctors and nurses are very concerned and helpful professionals. Every department of this hospital does a wonderful job in taking care of their patients. My primary care physician is located in the family practice upstairs on the 5th floor. Dr Neumann is my gynecologist and surgeon who has know me for over 17years. Both my children were born at this hospital with my daughter being one of the last babies to be born there before they discontinued the maternity ward. They can HANDLE from minor aches and pains to high risk pregnancies. Excellent ENT doctors, just to mention. Wonderful physical therapists and mental health professionals. I have had all type of issues including hysterectomy and gastric bypass surgery along with being a high risk with pregnancy myself. I would recommend every aspect of this hospital to anyone including family and friends because of this. I have used every services offered at sometime/some point in my over 23 years of going to chestnut hill hospital. My best advice is always talk to your doctor NEVER be afraid to discuss what is going on with you because that is the only way they can help. PLEASE remember they are humans NOT God so they dont mind read.
