Went in today for lingering sickness sawNichole Burton PAShe did an outstanding job already feeling a little better. Staff was very nice and polite very professional people.Can’t say enough good things about your establishment. We drove over an hour because I have Heard that they are very knowledgeable and caring staff.I will concur they’re very good at what they do and very caring so very thankful to have seen Nichole today

Went on-line and done my paper work and schedule an appointment and, it was pretty easy. Got off work early and just walked in and got in pretty quick. The staff was so very friendly. The doctor was super sweet, and made sure I was okay before I left. The doctor had fantastic bed side manners, and answered all my questions. I was very impressed with them all.

Woke up this morning and my eyes were swollen, slightly pink, and crusted over. I was able to get an appointment right away. Check-in was super easy on my phone and the staff was very nice and helpful with any questions. I was in and out within 30 minutes. The doctor was very quick and efficient. Would definitely go back if I needed to.

Friendly staff, competent care, and excellent communication from all personnel. I came for help on a weekday morning around 9am, and was taken back very quickly, and didnt wait long in the room either. Really happy with this place.

It is so nice when people are caring and friendly when you feel bad. Crystal and Bethany were so helpful and understanding and efficient. The front desk folks were great also, thanks for the good experience.

The wait wasnt long after taking 10 minutes to check myself in. The provider was nice. Im not sure of her experience though. I got a cortisone injection in my buttocks from the MA instead of in my right shoulder from the provider. I had severe right shoulder pain. I received the injection before the X-ray. The X-ray technician was having technical issues with the equipment. Otherwise it was fine. I wont go back. Im new in town.

I have been to this Urgent Care site several times and have always been treated with such care and courtesy. This time I had blood work, blood pressure tests, and the removal of wax from one ear. Everything was handled professionally and quickly, and I was provided with important information every step of the way. I appreciate this office and its staff very much and would recommend it to anyone I care about. Thank you for the option to have my medical needs performed at this location.

The staff were very nice. The nurse practitioner address my concerns and made diagnosis. I also like that they followed up a couple days later to see how I was doing and if I had any concerns.

The best urgent care Ive ever been to. They got me in and out quick and fast. Honestly I might go out of my way to come back to this one if I ever need an urgent care again.

Felt rushed, not one person during my visit looked me in the eye (other that the nurse practitioner, she was great.) If only one patient is in the building.... maybe act like they are a human with a problem, not just the first person you interact with that morning.

The lady who checked me in was as kind as can be. The lady standing over her shoulder saying I needed to make a payment was rude and condescending. I have met my out of pocket cost. She clearly doesn’t understand how that works. I offered to call my insurance so they could tell her. She said she would need it in writing. I’m sick and in pain and don’t have the energy to argue with some lady who doesn’t care that she is wrong. Summit isn’t even a mile away so they took care of me, and completely understood how billing worked, without an argument.

Wed just relocated from Memphis to Knoxville in June. Have not had a chance to find new PCP. So my son took Ill at school on yesterday . So I had to leave my job to go pick him up not ,knowing where to go. My Coworker E.J. suggested here. The receptionist was very nice in helping me check in. Then the Nurse that pulled us back was very excellent with my son DJ because hes deaf. She listened tentatively and was able to understand. Nicole Burton APN was very helpful in determining what was wrong. Thank You All So Much.

I visited AFC Urgent Care Knoxville for the first time this morning after dropping a large thermos full of ice on my foot yesterday, which left me with two swollen, bruised toes. From the moment I walked in, the front desk staff was fast and efficient, getting me checked in quickly without any hassle.The provider, Nicole Burton, NP. was absolutely amazing. She took excellent care of me, addressing all my concerns, and wrapped my toe as requested. I truly appreciated her thoroughness and care.I’ve had to visit many urgent care clinics due to traveling for work, and often left feeling dissatisfied, with some clinics even feeling unclean. That was not the case here. AFC Urgent Care was exceptionally clean, and even with just one provider on staff this morning, they were on top of every patient. I left feeling well taken care of and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone needing urgent care in Knoxville.

This location got me in quickly, and the employees were very warm and reassuring and pleasant. Nicole, my nurse practitioner, knew exactly what I was dealing with and was quick to educate me and give me information and instructions. I was in and out in under an hour and feeling much more confident. Thank you!!

Had such an amazing experience here tonight. I got stung by a bunch of bees on Sunday and my mom said I needed to go because I wasn’t getting better. The staff from the moment I walked in were friendly and welcoming. Talked with me about marvel and movies and stuff like that while we waited. The nurse who prescribed my meds, the nurse who gave me my injection, and the nurse who wrote down my information were all SO nice and accommodating and sweet and made me feel so much less scared. Also I love an all female staff.

Went in for high blood pressure and chest pain to have some basic triage done to decide if I needed ER visit . The front desk person dawn was very kind and responsive and the both practitioners I saw were really nice and helpful . The nurse was kind and informative as well

A person I know was very sick and recently went in for medication for severe cold. The only medicine my family got was a basic cough medicine or one that clearly does not work. This will cause us to go up there again for steroids or antibiotics. This is not the first time they have under prescribed medicine. Same thing happened last year during winter for us with this urgent care. 😢

Kristen is always so kind and truly takes in everything you say! The rest of the staff is just as sweet and personable, I would recommend this urgent care to anyone!

As soon as I entered the facility, I was put at ease by the smiling lady at check in. The staff I encountered was friendly, professional, and respectful when I related my issues. The Practitioner addressed my concerns one by one, with careful explanations, as well as the clear logic of my prescription. I rarely make recommendations, but this one is without reservation.

My daughter and I woke up sick so we went down the road to the urgent clinic. All of the staff was friendly and attentive and got us both taken care of quickly! I highly recommend!!

Took my daughter in for well visit since she had a sore throat last week. I also needed a note for medication, the NP came into the room VERY rude, aggressive and condescending stating they do not offer notes for medication, this same NP was very rude the previous visit about a note for school. I will absolutely never be bringing my child to this location again. There is absolutely NO REASON for anyone to be treated like this, especially by a medical provider.

The staff, location and facility are fantastic! I’m hoping this message gets routed to leadership to make a change. My son and I have both been to this location within the past 30 days and I was required to complete full paperwork again for each of us. This is not ideal when you are sick with fever/ strep. The logic needs to be updated to verify/ validate/ consent prior entries if within a set time period (like 90 days) v completely new entry. We moved from TX recently and this is how EVERY OTHER PROVIDER managed patient records (only the data was refreshed maybe every 12 months)

Considering it was Sunday afternoon after Christmas, I was seen quickly. Everyone one very pleasant and friendly. The Doctor was sharp and had me on my way quickly.

This place was great. Very low wait time and my problem was assessed. Kristen was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I was suffering from an apparent UTI. Scheduling online was especially easy, as my information was saved from a previous visit. I preregistered using my iPhone. I was seen promptly and soon taken care of and on my way to the pharmacy. Highly recommend!

Was seen quickly. I went in for suspected pinkeye in both eyes. Both watering profusely for over 7 hours. The doctor didn’t examine my eyes but prescribed drops and antibiotics.Quick visit and the antibiotics of drops and pills have helped.

Facilities very clean and accommodating. Staff is friendly and polite. Staff exhibits high degree of professionalism. Thanks for your service.

Wow this place offers the absolute best care! Living in a new state is already overwhelming. I’ve gotten strep and injured and both times that I’ve came here, I’ve received nothing, but the best treatment. I have to say Bryan and Bethany are so kind! They made me feel so welcomed and made both days a lot better with their charismatic demeanor. I’m glad I now have somewhere to go to whenever I am unwell.

I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I saw a NP, got a script and was on my way. I already feel better, the medicine is working well. Ive used this clinic several times and Im impressed with them every time.

Over priced like everything else in this corrupt industry. $120 up front, and $60 for a Covid/flu test. Cost me almost $200 just for a 30 min appointment.

The assisting nurse was so thorough. She was a good listener took lots of good notes. I felt very comfortable with her. The doctor was very nice. Very thorough. I’m happy I used AFC.

Nasty bathroom with blood on the floor. The staff was friendly but not trained. Nurse was googling how to type stuff into the system. The nurse who gave me a shot acted like it was her first time giving one. I came in to get an xray of a knee injury and wasn’t told that they didn’t have an xray tech until I had already waited 2 hours. Like I said, friendly staff, but they were obviously under staffed and under trained.

Everyone I encountered during my visit was exceptionally friendly and made me feel comfortable. Truly the best health visit to date!

They were super nice and I did not feel rushed. Even the ladies at the check in always wish you well and hope you feel better when you leave.

I walked in today to get a physical examination and was out in about 30 minutes. The receptionist was very nice & professional as well as the nurse & the physician who performed my physical. Highly recommend AFC! Would definitely go back for any medical needs in the future.

My wait was short, the entire staff is so friendly, and I received wonderful care. NP McMullin genuinely listened to my concerns and helped create a care plan for me. Nolan administered my injection and made the process quick and as painless as possible. After being disappointed with the care I received at a large care facility, I can say undoubtedly that everyone at this AFC cares.I didn’t feel like a quick transaction. It was a pleasure to be a patient, and I will be using this location indefinitely!

Never had a bad experience at this location. From the front desk to nurses to the physicians (MD, NP, etc), they are all ALWAYS kind, professional, proficient & knowledgeable.

Took my daughter in to be seen, Erin provided the best care I’ve seen in healthcare. Sweet, and patient with her as my daughter have a hard time in medical offices. Dawn was very efficient and got her checked in and to the back in no time !! Definitely will recommend!!

I have now been here twice and everyone is so kind! I don’t have insurance but the prices have seemed fair to me. I especially had a great time with the X-ray ladies, so sweet! But honestly, everyone was kind from reception to the rest. I wish that the checkin didn’t make you fill out what you already filled out preregistration but that seems like a backend computer programmer issue. Overall, I felt cared for and my time respected. No matter what type of health issues Im experiencing I head straight to afc urgent care. Always professional, prompt and the care I receive is better than any hospital in this town!

Grateful to be able to have a small wound treated Sunday. From the very helpful receptionist to the nurse and then to Erin for treatment.Everyone was very professional, very kind, obviously focused on the patient and providing treatment to heal my wound. Have used AFC in past years for my husbandstreatment and always very satisfied. We are fortunate to have AFC in our area!

Every time I come here I am always given half assed treatment and have steroids thrown at me as though they think its some sort of fix all cure for everything. I came in with severe throat pain to the point I wasnt able to eat anything. The PA (i never saw a nurse or doctor) shined a light in my mouth and said shes seen this sort of thing several times this week and that it was just allergies and that my throat wasnt swollen. She gave me prednisone and sent me on my way. Come 4 days later and my symptoms are worse and I decided to go to the UT urgent care. Not only did the NP swab my throat with several swabs and sent them in for a culture, she said my throat was super inflamed and were actually concerned as im 33 WEEKS PREGNANT AND CANT EAT HARDLY ANYTHING.

I did a walk in appointment, I had a sore throat and other symptoms. The staff there was very friendly and helpful, I was in and out within an hour. I would recommend them if you can not get into a primary care physician.

Visiting the area from out of state and they were quick to get me in and out with diagnosis and treatments. Lucky on wait time, but with one provider, she was efficient and tended to my concerns, so I didnt feel rushed. If I lived here, I would definitely use the facility again.

I love this place everyone is always super sweet and helpful and they get you in an out fast. Always recommend coming here for people who don’t want to sit at the ER for 8 hours.

I have never been to an urgent Care before but this was totally amazing I had to get some medicine fora family member at CVS pharmacy then walked from there to the urgent Care on North shore and Kingston Pike never been there before signed my paperwork saw the doctor had poison ivy on my face that got in my eye my care was excellent got my shot for poison ivy and some prescriptions went back to CVS filled the prescriptions back in my car less than an hour from the time I left CVS before it was an amazing experience the people were professional kind and respectful. The doctor was very informative and knowledgeable. This is the way healthcare should be and this is the way people should be treated when they go to see a provider or a hospital or any place. I am so happy that I went it was truly a blessing. five stars If I could 100 stars and that still would not be enough!!!

I made an appointment for 3 o’clock and they saw me well before then around 2:45 They were very quick and efficient and told me exactly what I needed to know, listen to all of my concerns and explained my care thoroughly. Even though my veins are very hard to get the phlebotomist was a fantastic stick. If I ever find myself needing urgent care again, I will 100% go here

Both the nurse and the physician’s assistant were friendly and good at what they were doing. Made sure I understood what was being done and what my test results meant.

Given I have white coat syndrome severely- they always make me relax with their pleasant professional additutes. Great service- highly recommended

I had been sick, visited another clinic prior who recommended chest X-rays, but they didn’t offer chest X-rays, and my pcp couldn’t get me in for a week! I really didn’t feel well and waiting hours in the ER was the last thing I wanted. I also knew I couldn’t wait a week for antibiotics. AFC got me in as a walk-in for chest X-rays, had the X-rays professionally read, and I was on antibiotics within an hour. Thank you.

I unfortunately didnt get her name, but the receptionist that was working on the evening of April 11th around 6 was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond to make sure I could do my drug screening, as my company hadnt sent over prior authorization. The nurse that did the actual screening was very laid back and personable as well. No notes, everything was excellent and went without a hitch :D

I came in for a visit and the team was helpful in getting me in and out quick with a treatment. I was helped by Danielle, Brian and Kristen. I have been going here for the past few years as a student and have had nothing but great experiences!

I was a walk in and the receptionist was very pleasant. She explained what was to be expected. Wait time was minimal. Care staff and MD were pleasant and attentive. Both explained procedures and findings. I appreciated the prompt service as I had Shingles and needed treatment ASAP. I would definitely recommend this facility!

Not enough staff. Preregistered and it still took two hours. Staff is not the issue. They were great. There were only three people working. That was the cause of the delay.

I couldnt be more happier with my experience there! I was that one who showed up 10min.before closing time. The lady at the front desk, I wish I wouldve gotten her name, was very friendly and kind. Clean, fast, friendly and very kind! I came in with a dog bite and even though they had so many people in the waiting room, it didn’t take very long for them to see me. The staff were all very caring and polite. It was a pleasant experience and I’d definitely recommend them!

Came here for a sinus infection and everyone was very nice and attentive, NP Kowalski listened to all of my complaints and gave appropriate attention to my concerns. The nurse was very polite and detailed taking my information and the front staff was very friendly.

The attending medical professionals were amazing! They were very personable and explained everything with patience and I felt that they cared about getting me the help I needed. The preregistration process was easy and I appreciated being able to do that prior to arrival. The wait time was relatively short and I felt that the service was efficient. It was less than an hour from start to finish, on a Tuesday at noon. My prescription was called into the CVS less than a block away which was very convenient. I had a very good experience.

After experiencing worsening symptoms of a sinus infection, I visited AFC due to my PCP’s office being closed. Being a walk-in patient, I expected a considerable wait time but was seen less than fifteen minutes after arriving. The check-in process was seamless, and all members of the staff were kind and welcoming. I was treated by Nicole Burton NP, she attentively listened to my concerns before performing a thorough examination. The care I received was exceptional and I will definitely utilize this clinic for future acute treatment.

The nurse and PA were great! They were both very professional and when I had to call them last minute for an additional x-ray order the next day, they sent it over quickly. Great people who I would recommend highly!

Bethany was fantastic as my provider! Krystal and Bryan were great from check in to getting me in a room. A perfect visit!

Normally don’t like going to AFC because it doesn’t feel like they’re there to problem solve and figure out what’s wrong, just give you meds and get you out. Today was different. A huge shout out from me and my wife Ana to Bethany Oster for great care, very informative, and overall good attitude and people skills. Keep up the good work!

I came in with a laceration on my forehead , they had me getting ready for stitches within 10 minutes. Clean and tiny facilities. I was treated with care and professionalism. 10/10 would recommend for clumsy folks that work around sharp things

This entire office staff was professional and personable. Dr Sam, Simmone, Brian, Dawn... just exemplary. Dr Sam took the time to explain my concerns and we discussed his recommendations for treatment. They took vitals and drew blood. Ill get stool samples back to them before starting Vancomicin. Clean office. Really delightful staff. I felt comfortable and my time well spent. I definitely will recommend this office.

Great crowd, great personalities, and very prompt even in their final hours. In our few minutes of waiting, Danielle at the front desk was very friendly and gave us a few laughs to ease the pain.Nicole Burton, NP was a phenomenal practitioner; she let me know what every procedure was, was very knowledgable, and readily willing to share said knowledge.Finally, nurse Jaleesha, who I should’ve given more benefit of the doubt, was really great at giving me a few shots in my hip, which I despise. However, with her I barely felt them at all and the experience went great for an emergency visit.10/10 will come back again but hopefully not too soon. Highly recommend.

The sitting area was completely empty and the receptionists (3 of them) were not overly welcoming however the staff in the back made a difference. The doctor and nursing staff were all very attentive and did a great job taking care of me. Dr Herriman was great. Thankfully they do IV fluids at AFC and she was able to start one even though I had started to severely dehydrate.

Fast. Knowledgable provider who listens. Appropriate care. I’ve been to each AFC in Knoxville and they are all great every time no matter the issue.

I had a lymph node swell really big and ran to the clinic. I was terrified which caused my usually low BP to skyrocket and cause me some anxiety. My wait time was less than 10 minutes, room time about 20 minutes. The nurse helped me calm down, the doctor was very nice and helpful, the lady at check in was super sweet.

I was in and out quickly and everyone was very nice and professional. My needs were addressed and taken care of. Highly recommend this place.

Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Dr. Emily, and her medical assistant was so very kind and truly cares. I received excellent care! I was given I.V fluids for dehydration and I felt immediately better. Thank you for making my appointment so easy and making me feel better!

Always love the team at this location. My only feedback that I feel would’ve made my visit better is that I wish I would have only had to fill out the health questionnaire once. I had to fill out the health questionnaire twice; once while checking in, and again when in the examination room.

I was seen very quickly and given some antibiotics for possible infection. I got there a 8:15am and was only person there at the time. Very efficient process and PA was wearing a mask which I appreciated sinceMy wife is immunocompromised.

Love this place. All the staff was incredibly nice and helpful. I walked in 10 minutes before they closed on a Sunday after being turned away from a facility I have been a patient of for 15 years. I had been exposed to a visiting relative who tested positive for flue and I was now showing symptoms. I was seen by Tamara Hugh. She was caring and was one of the nicest health care providers I have met. I know she must have had a long day, but she made me feel that she cared and sometimes that makes all the difference. I wish she was a primary care provider!

First thing I would like to say is the staff was wonderful and that check-in was quick, plus the moible app moved things faster. The doctor there was great and very informative, caring, and respectful. I will definitely recommend this urgent care to others.

Walked in without an appointment. Waited maybe 30 minutes (mostly filling out paperwork) and when was taken into the exam area I was was seen quickly and treated effectively.Overall it was a very good experience

Well, I was there for a D.O.T. Physical. My physician assistant Erin Davis M scared me to death!! She said there was small amounts of blood in my urine and that usually means bladder cancer for smokers and or EX smokers. I thought I had bladder cancer. I was so worried my blood pressure went through the roof!! She was asking me why it was so high? Ummmmm….. when you mention a cancer diagnosis to your patient? That will freak anyone out and cause their blood pressure to sky rocket. Maybe we should leave the cancer diagnosis to someone else? I did not have cancer in my bladder. It was a UTI. That’s a huge difference. I gave 3 stars because she did freak me out and the lady at the front desk did laugh a lot with me.

Easy to obtain appointment, straight forward registration, minimal wait, awesome staff and wonderful practitioners!

First time visiting and Im not sure why I hesitated. Early Sunday morning. Easy in easy out. Heard my symptoms and prescribed what I expected. Great experience

Everyone is so very kind and professional! They also listen and make sure your comfortable the entire time. They take Tenncare as well. I needed to get iv fluids and I was checked up on at least every 10-15 minutes to make sure I was as comfortable as I could be and they even grabbed me a blanket. The nurse practitioner, nurses, medical assistants, and patient specialist were all phenomenal and I highly recommend this place! Thank you!!!!

Ive grown to expect less than great care from many of the urgent care facilities in my area but my visit to this facility was nothing short of exceptional. Friendly staff, reasonble wait time and results driven. Im already spreading the work as its getting seemingly more difficult for people to get an appointment with primary physicians in the time you need medical attention.

My wife had a somewhat painful upset stomach. Went to AFC Urgent Care Knoxville on a Saturday afternoon where Dr Erin Davis checked her out thoroughly, found nothing serious, but made recommendations. Dr Davis was very professional and reassuring. Other staff were thoughtful and helpful as well.

Staff at my nearby AFC in Knoxville were warm, welcoming, efficient, competent, and helpful. I was experiencing my first kidney stone, and was deciding between options for urgent care. I chose the right place!

Good timing, as there were few people in the facility on a Saturday afternoon. Efficient online intake, took my insurance and was in a room with a practitioner inside 20 minutes. Full marks for what I needed.

They were quick and attentive, I was in and out within 30 minutes.

Walking in the area it was clean and well kept. The receptionist team put the urgent in urgent care.. In less than ten minutes I was being rolled into an equally clean room. Dr. Tamara was exceptional. She explained everything as thorough as anyone could. She was personable and made me feel right at home. . Krista (sp) was by far the best. ! She seemed to genuinely enjoy helping me. . She was attentive and seemed to know what I needed before i spoke a word. If there was ever a cherry on top it would be her. Would recommend anyone to come here. 10 out of 10

I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving and felt like the provider took time to understand my concerns.

Very quick care, have felt genuinely cared for on each of my precious two visits. As if the staff and doctors and nurses all care how I’m doing and that my problem is addressed and the best treatment is given to me. They even made sure to help on the financial side which emphasizes the fact that health supersedes anything else at the end of the day. All around it was a 10/10 experience and the accident that landed me at the clinic was treated and I was able to return to work just 2 hours later which speaks volumes in my opinion.

Everyone was very kind, polite, and friendly. Being sick sucks, but they were very sweet which makes it easier. Its also nice to be able to get everything filled out on my phone rather than on paper printouts.

Complete waste of time and insurance money. They did absolutely nothing and took my copy of meds I gave them. I needed that copy for the ER. Why do they need a copy of meds if they are not going to be prescribing medications. I wish they would mail me my copy back but Im sure its in the trash. Go figure! They also wouldnt put me in a room until I completed the paperwork. I was SICK and the waiting room was full of 7 people from a wedding party being loud and obnoxious. They should have asked the wedding party to go outside and give the sick people a break. I will not return and I highly suggest no one goes to an AFC facility. Extremely disappointed.

Went in for a DOT physical, was only $99. Was in and out in 1 hour, updated physical and everything. Dr. Patel done my physical, he was really nice. My wife came here for urgent care 3 weeks ago because she had the flu, the front desk staff and the doctor who diagnosed my wife was all really nice and a pleasure to be around. Will be going here again for anything else.

They let us in 10 minutes before they were supposed to close when we wouldnt have been able to go anywhere else. We went to other clinics who found nothing wrong and just said some pain killers would work and they found what was wrong and prescribed medicine to help. I used to go here all the time and it used to be great - they no longer do PCR tests, so don’t waste your time (only rapid tests). Also since the last time I was here it has gotten really dirty, chairs worn out and torn, etc. Also all of the staff were sick but only 1 wore a mask. I won’t be going back.

I would recommend AFC to anyone. The PA was very professional and smart. She explained all my lab results, and asked if all my questions were answered. I would go back to AFC on Cedar Bluff if Pam the PA and her staff was working. They were so nice and compassionate!!

This was a great experience. The staff was so kind and very attentive to my needs. The Doctor was extremely knowledgeable and went over every treatment option with me in detail. I went in with back pain I could barely walk when I went in. X-ray showed I had a slight curve in my lower back and a hint of a bulging disc. Then the doctor went over all treatment options with me gave me recommendations for specialist. I highly recommend. They truly showed kindness, respect, and they cared about me and what I was going through with my pain that I was in. My gratitude and appreciation for all they did for me that day, I pray God blesses each of them.

I had a minor medical emergency while in the office and the staff were all professional and compassionate. I felt well cared for and appreciated their prompt assistance.

We got in to see the doctor within 15 minutes of signing in! They took us to the room the doctor came right in the staff were very nice and got things done very quickly I would highly recommend going here!

I do not recommend this place. One of the receptionists (the blonde woman) was extremely helpful, professional, patient and empathetic. The other one (dark hair ) was rude from the start, but then decided to take it up a notch: she decided to ignore me and keep her head turned, while I was repeatedly trying to talk to her. Then she seemed shocked that I snapped at her. She deserved it. When someone is talking to you, especially a patient, you look at them, and you acknowledge them, especially when you are in a customer service position. If you cant respond right away, you say something like, One moment, please. You dont keep your head turned and ignore. I would have gotten in a ton of trouble for doing something like that, in previous customer service roles that I have had.Second problem: the check-in process is inefficient. You first use a tablet, just to enter your name and phone number and receive a text with a link, on your phone. On your phone, you then complete all information, via the link. Instead of having the patients use the tablet, they should just get their phone number and send them the link. Easy.After about ten minutes of filling out online forms, I then get told, after all that, that the walk-in clinic does not accept my type of insurance. (After which, the turned head and ignoring began.) That was also really odd, since its supposed to be accepted literally anywhere. The blonde receptionist did a good job of explaining why they do not accept my insurance, even though it was disappointing.I ended up leaving and going over to a UT Medical Center walk-in clinic. Night and day difference in every way: the really nice receptionist checked my insurance before I filled out a ton of forms, no stupid tablet thing, and the physician assistant and doctor were absolutely terrific.Dont waste your time at this place. I recommend just going to a UTMC walk-in clinic. Much more professional and empathetic.

We were the last appointment of the night but the people didn’t seem to mind or rush us out. They were still very kind and thorough. I will definitely use them again.

I went to AFC Urgent care 15 minutes before closing on Halloween night. Everyone who worked with me was extremely professional and patient. My concerns were addressed and I was very well treated. Will come back—hopefully not so close to closing on a holiday!

Very quick and considerate service! Check in was easy, and both the tech and provider had excellent bedside manner. I came in for foot pain and left within an hour with a boot and work note (after an assessment and quick x rays). I would definitely come back here!

I went to the AFC Urgent Care at 6108 Kingston Pike for my DOT Physical. I was greeted by Dawn who was exceptionally nice professional kind. All of the things anyone would want when coming into an urgent care. I completed all the necessary paperwork and was taken back for my physical. I had the pleasure of meeting Advanced Practice Nurse Katherine Besola who put me at ease and she gave me my physical. You couldn’t have asked for a nicer and more pleasant person. All of the support staff who took my blood pressure were also exceptional in every way. I have also had the pleasure of meeting Dr Congress and Dr Batchelor who have since moved on. This is a 5 plus star establishment and I definitely recommend.

Completely amazing experience overall. I almost never leave google reviews but this experience was so great that I had to. Dr. Congress was kind, a good listener, knowledgeable, very willing to answer questions, and transparent with me throughout my care. I dont remember the name of my nurse unfortunately but she was also had a very kind and relaxing presence.

I had a fall on October 16, which was a Sunday. My son and daughter in law recommended this care clinic from the moment we arrived and after treatment we had the best care needed to sew up my bleeding wound.The staff was concerned, kind and sympathetic to me and my family.Dr Congress is amazing; she called me the next day to check up on how I was doing. The front desk staff was kind and courteous. They quickly got me checked in and to a room. I was diagnosed and out the door within an hour. They even called a few days later to see how I was feeling.

To start with, AFC does an excellent job with intake and insurance processing. The personnel are courteous and efficient.Waiting time was minimal and the patient- centric care provided by the nurse and doctor was excellent.I highly recommend AFC as a convenient, provider of timely and cost-effective medical services.

There was five or six people in front of me and they got me back really fast. They did a test for flu and Covid and that also came back really fast. I would strongly recommend this urgent care facility to anyone in hurry.

Overall good experience. Aside from the wait time. The actual visit with the provider was great. The medical assistant who took my childs vitals was also really good. I am very impressed with how nice they were and our medicine was called in to the pharmacy before we left so we were able to pick it up on time.

I heard good things about AFC and went to Farragut location only to be treated poorly from front desk that presented a no-care rude example of how I might be treated as a patient. Absolutely no to Farragut. i still needed health care so I then called another AFC location with hopes of a better reception. I called this location at 6108 Kingston Pike. The front desk person who answered was so kind and welcoming. She much made me feel like they cared to get me in to take care of me. When I arrived I was welcomed by the same person I called. She checked me in with a reception that made my current health situation a much more pleasant experience and confidence that I was in the right place. The rest of the staff who cared for me proved that I was. This is how health care should be. Thank you to all staff at 6108 Kingston Pike location. I trust if I need health care on a holiday weekend, or any day, I can go there and be treated with kindness and respect. It all started at the front desk.

I was at the clinic today and my wait in the waiting area was less than five minutes. Once taken to a room, the nurse, Matt was very kind, personable and helpful. I waited maybe 10 minutes for the dr, Dr Kim, she was knowledgeable, compassionate and did an outstanding job of treating me. This was my second visit and both times extremely satisfied with the care provided. I’m so grateful there’s a clinic that makes it all so convenient with great service in an expedited manner & health providers with a heart for caring.

Took my elderly father for a possible UTI. They were so patient and compassionate. They are the best!!!

The n.p. was adorable. She knew what to give me by being a diabetic herself. Very knowledgeable and so kind. I would see her as a patient if I could.

The ladies once i got back to the room were so kind, fun and helpful! The wait took a while but that was not a problem and also not any of the employee’s fault. The only problem I did encounter was the lady who greeted me in the front. Could have been a bad day but she was very rude and stand-off to me and my friends who were also sick. Felt like she was upset we came in to be treated and was overall rude and unhelpful. But I would like to thank the woman who helped me once I got back because even though it was late they were so sweet and helpful!

All of the nurses and Dr. Congress were so sweet and helpful. They were personable, friendly, & so prompt. Dr. Congress even went above & beyond to keep me informed as I waited in the room. I have never had such a pleasant experience at an urgent care! If needed, I will definitely be returning to this specific location. Totally recommend!

Quick care clean facility friendly staff quick check in open from 8-5 beats sitting for ten hours in the emergency room prescription called into the pharmacy and ready by the time I got there to pick it up I really will go there again if needed and they also take alot of different insurance. First time visiting this place but Im sure Ill be back if needed was great service for several bee stings she was very concerned about the way I felt dizzy looked at the swelling and checked my breathing

The man at the receptionist desk was very kind and helpful, the nurses were super nice and kind and considerate, they treated my daughter and I with respect and like we were real people. Even though it was at the end of the day and they were so nice, and took time to answer our questions. Then the doctor came in and she was very kind and considerate. She took the time to answer our questions and wasnt in a hurry even though it was the end of the day and they were busy. I would highly recommend it.

The waiting area was very comfortable. The wait was short, I was in the exam room within minutes. The nurse assistant was very pleasant and attentive. Dr. Congress took the time to listen to symptoms and concerns and she explained everything in detail. It was the most pleasant experience that I have ever had at an urgent care clinic.

Staff was great! I sought care here when I was feeling unwell and it was after primary care office hours. The staff was very courteous and explained everything. Dr. Congress was very patient and made sure that everything was done for me to feel better, as well as run an extra test to be certain my treatment path was the best option. She does not leave anything to chance and I really appreciated that. I highly recommend this facility for urgent medical needs, they are exceptional!

This was my first experience at AFC, and it was a very positive one at the Kingston Pike Bearden location. Dawn, the manager on-site, took extra care to have my grandson assessed quickly since he was so young and febrile. The PA, Mr Patel, was kind and thorough, made the diagnosis, antibiotic sent in. Rooms were clean, people friendly. Will use them again

A couple weeks ago my son had to get stitches in his chin and the provider that was working was great with him. He was very anxious and the provider was calm, understanding, patient and helped him to understand what he was doing so he wasn’t so scared. 20/10 recommend to everyone!

Everyone at the facility was very nice and professional. I received great care from when I walked in until I left! I especially appreciated Heidie Fisher, the PA. She took great care of me and made me feel comfortable during a procedure.

Dr. Brittany Congress, MD at AFC urgent care of Kingston Pike is one of the only doctors Ive met that is both down to earth and competent. She was so easy to talk to and was sensitive to my presenting complaint. I couldnt recommend her enough.

My family and I have used a couple of different AFC locations and this one is by far the best of them all. The staff are friendly, efficient, and incredibly helpful. Theyre also quick to get you in and out which serves 2 purposes for me. Im usually in some form of a rush or am needing to get somewhere so this helps me get in and out with all that I need. This also, in my opinion, allows them to serve more people in the community because they are so quick and efficient. It takes a particular balance to be quick and good at your job and the people at this location nail it.

I had to go in for a late evening apportionment. Everyone was so kind, seemed like they genuinely wanted to be helpful. It was late and I’m sure wanted to get home. But everyone from the front desk to the nurses to the provider, was amazing. If you have any emergency medical needs in the bearden area, I would highly recommend.

Best urgent care location I’ve been to in Knoxville. The wait times are always short and the care provided is on point for both myself and my daughter.

The team there was very efficient and caring. They quickly understood what happened and dealt with my issue. I had to get stitches after a poor ER visit and Heidi and the team took great care of me. Will see them again in another week.
