Theyre super quick, and Ive always received great care here when my doctor isnt in. The nurse, Emerald, was super friendly and personable! She made me feel comfortable and like I was in good hands. The PA also obviously knew what he was doing, and explained what was going on with visual aids, and was super friendly also. I would highly recommend this place! The office was a little off though physically (ie chairs were worn and torn).

Amazing staff! Love the thoroughness and how each patient is given the attention and explanation needed. Glad my wife forced me to come here. This place is reliable, quick and thorough. You cant beat that on a Saturday morning. Thanks again, everyone!

In and out quickly because I presented with COVID symptoms. In 20 minutes they confirmed COVID, I had an RX and left the facility.Very professional people and I was treated well. They even sent my Rx to a pharmacy linked with the VA so the medicine and the visit cost nothing out of pocket.I highly recommend AFC N Broadway.

On the request of my young granddaughter, I flew up from FL so to take her to the Knoxville Fair on Saturday. I woke up on Saturday morning with a severe sore throat & my daughter-in-law highly recommended your clinic for my urgent care. I walked in was able to see a doctor immediately. I too was in & out in 30 minutes and the doctor sent my scripts directly to the pharmacy in my behalf for pick-up. The doctor & staff were so friendly and caring! I highly recommend their medical services!!!I was still able to keep my promise with my granddaughter and take her to the fair on Saturday afternoon and ride all the rides with her!!! Minimal wait time, front desk staff was sweet. The MA who came in to take vitals was kind and listened thoroughly. The provider on the other hand, did not. She never introduced herself, didn’t seem to care and put the mistake she made off on the MA. I understand this doesn’t take the place of a primary care doctor, however bedside manner and compassion go a long way.

Have been feeling awful since Sunday, came in today and check in was easy and smooth, the front desk was very friendly and caring. Krista did my vitals and triage and was very kind and knowledgeable, Chris, the NP, saw me very quickly and took excellent care of me and went above and beyond along with Lauren who administered the injection I needed to get which went very well. I was in and out! Excellent care and highly recommend this facility.

The nurse that took me to the room was a little rude to me. He keep telling me what they would not do instead of helping me telling me what they can do. The doctor was very pleasant she listened to what I had to say. After listening to what my problem was she went ahead and prescribed me to prescriptions and gave me a referral to the ears nose and throat doctor.

The front desk ladies weren’t necessarily rude just a little less than friendly. Every other person I saw was incredibly helpful, understanding, and efficient. Wait time was short to get in and to be seen. Definitely a better urgent care than I’ve been to before.

My experience at AFC Fountain City was FANTASTIC!! It was my first time there and from the front desk to the treatment I received, it was all first class. Every employee was smiling, helpful, courteous, and gave me the best all-around medical care Ive received in more than 25 years. I am so grateful my insurance co. helped me locate this clinic. Thank you to every employee who treated me so well. You havent seen the last of me.

I recently visited AFC and was seen by Benjamin Charstrom, PA. He provided exceptional care with a great attitude that really made a difference. His positive energy helped me feel better than I actually was (and I had been feeling miserable). He addressed my concerns immediately and provided prompt medication assistance, so I could start feeling better right away.From the time I walked into the clinic, there was a very short wait time and I was discharged in less than an hour. I highly recommend this place!

From the receptionist assisting me filling out paper to the doctor taking it very seriously and having X-ray sent out to make sure nothing was missed. And the nurses making sure to understand what was going on and taking me in wheelchair to my wife outside to make sure I was ok. Very refreshing having that level of service.

As with any walk-in clinic you expect a bit of a wait but this definitely was on the lower end when compared to my experiences elsewhere.  The check-in process was easy and quick, which is what you’d hope when sick or injured.  The people encountered were all friendly, professional, and worked to understand the issue.  The resolution of my visit was satisfactory and will be ongoing so while not a one stop fix, I know the provided guidance will get me feeling better.  This office is worthy of recommendation.

The receptionist was very polite and well mannered. The nurse assistant was very nice and had a welcome attitude, and the nurse was extremely polite well mannered and took the time to explain the details of what I was there for she asked questions to Help determine the quality of care that I needed. She was very helpful and did a great job. My overall experience at this location was great. I would definitely recommend it to a family member or friend at this location on Broadway across from Kroger.

I had a wonderful experience at this office. The doctor listened and was very kind. I had to get a vaccine and I am very needle phobic. Emerald was very understanding and I had the best experience I have ever had receiving it! If I ever need another vaccine I am coming back to Emerald!! Thank you

Really great experience. We were first in the door and the process was easy, completing it online. We even got some help from the front desk. The provider came in quickly and made a good assessment. We were out within half an hour and we were able to pick up a prescription very shortly thereafter.

Needed to be seen quickly for an allergic reaction that I was having. I checked in online, arrived and was fully checked in ensuring my medical plan. I was called back pretty quickly as well. The nurse Emerald checked my vitals, my condition, and medications. Then the PA Ms. Pyles reviewed my condition checked my condition and provided great plan to take care of my condition. Emerald had to give me a shot before I left and it was not an issue. My overall care was 5 stars! Thank you for making me feel better quickly. Everyone in the office today that I interacted with was nothing more than a PROFESSIONAL!!!!!Thank you!!

5 stars. Treated quickly. Staff was friendly and courteous. Doctor was attentive, efficient and had great bedside manner. Overall, they did a great job at a fraction of the cost and time it would have taken going to the ER for a fractured ankle.

Simple to pre reserve a time to come in.All the paperwork was done on my phone.They were quick to get me in, examined my issue, Checked my current medication, to make sure everything would be okay with the medication to resolve my problem.Overall a good experience and would not hesitate to use their services again!

My son has been pulling at his ear for a few days and was exceptionally irritable when I picked him up from daycare today. I visited the AFC website for a preregistration time slot and I was easily able to select a time. I was able to fill out the paperwork, check in with ease, and was taken back within 5 minutes. The nurse listened to my concerns, she was able to relate as she has small children as well and she let me know the provider would be back soon.Caitlin entered the room with a smile and ready to hear my concerns. I explained that I thought my son had an ear infection. She examined him, saw that he did have an infection, but still continued to check the other ear and look in his throat as well. She asked follow up questions in regard to medications he has taken before/what worked/what didn’t work. She was very informative. She reminded me that the pharmacy I had selected was closed for the day and offered to send my son’s prescription to another pharmacy close to our home. The entire experience was quick, easy, and thorough.I would highly recommend Caitlin.

These Dr, Nurses, & the staff were all so kind . They were laughing & smiling so much. It was awesome to know that there are still people in this world that are not afraid to smile. I highly recommend This Urgent care Clinic in Fountain City to añy one.

Scheduled ahead online and my grandson was taken back even a few minutes before. The front desk was very kind and professional. Our nurse was amazing. He is always so great with my grandson who is autistic and has several other diagnoses. Chris our NP came in and went above and beyond! Wish there were more like him. He worked so patiently and kindly with my grandson. Even called a pharmacist to find out a trick for giving him medicine because he usually spits it out. He has taken every bit of his doses so far! This was definitely a 10/10. We will continue to go to this clinic! Thank you all so much!!!

My employer scheduled my visit.When I signed in there were 11 people in front of me. 3 hours and 10 minutes later when I was finally called back, no less than 25 people had been seen before me. I was only there for an audiogram which took 10 minutes.The tech that administered the test was very professional and apologized for my wait time. No logical explanation was ever given for the 3 hour and 10 minute wait.Needless to say, I didnt appreciate this experience at all.

Everyone was friendly and professional. The PA, Benjamin, took his time and made sure to get give me the shots and meds to help me recover. Started feeling better in hours. Thanks, the staff is excellent and I would highly recommend this UC.

I ended up testing positive for Covid, the whole staff was so friendly and really helped me understand what was going to happen over the next few days, got me my meds and got me out in a timely manner and everyone wished me well as I left. Absolutely great team of people working there, from the women at the front desk, to the nursing and doctorate staff in the facility. Would 100% reccomend. I scheduled through the Solv app and was able to do my registration info before my appointment and it really helped me breeze through the whole process.

The front office staff was very friendly and helpful.  The nurse, Emerald, and the PA, Brenda were so nice and I received great care and explanation of what my issue involved. I would highly recommend AFC for anyones urgent care needs.

Another Great experience at AFC Urgent Care! Dr Ben (actually PA) is outstanding. He listens to you, examines you, discusses treatment and makes sure any rx is sent prior to your walking out the door. He is very friendly, approachable and professional! If needed I would definitely not hesitate to go back!

I was seen today in the clinic for respiratory issues. I spent a total of about an hour from start to finish in the clinic. The medical assistant Kirsten was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to listen to all of my concerns. She immediately suspected covid and swabbed me and I was positive for covid. The PA, Ronda Pyles, was awesome and very thorough as well she gave me a script and a work note and sent me on my way. Fast service and knowledgeable staff couldn’t ask for more from an Urgent care.

We are from out of town, our 7 month old unfortunately needed to be seen. The staff was exceptional! They were over the top kind and caring to our son. Got us in quick and had him seen right away. Very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend.

Being sick is not any fun, however my trip to this Urgent Care Clinic was painless! I greatly appreciate the true care and compassion! The check-in process was easy to navigate while the staff was professional and prompt making sure I was checked in and on my way to feeling better in less than 30 minutes!

Very professional! Receptionist was very friendly. Nurse was very pleasant and knowledgeable. PA was great- listened, not in a hurry, answered all questions. Very pleased with my treatment.

The staff and NP, Chris K, were so caring and thorough. We went after work, we work nightshift. Were in and out quickly. The NP is always amazing anytime we have had to come here. He listens, doesn’t rush and checks in with us after the appointment. We have a PCP but if we didn’t we would see him for everything if he had an office.

Love AFC! This is also my favorite location. The staff is friendly and they are wonderful with client care. I always leave relieved and grateful the staff takes the time to explain and understand my symptoms and treatment. Plus, the online check-in is great for planning ahead and is very user friendly. For reference I pay a $25 co-pay with my insurance.

I love going to AFC for minor issues! I make the reservation online. Do my paperwork before the appt. Show up. I didnt even have to wait 5 mins to be called back. Tell them whats going on. They tell me what it is, call any needed meds to pharmacy and swoosh! Im out the door!If I have some major illness or if I had some sort of chronic condition that had to be managed, maybe I would want to spend more time at the Dr office. I dont have anything chronic and Im pretty healthy. Not to mention trying to keep a family moving on the daily, Im just grateful for them making something I really do not like to do so much more enjoyable and time saving! I use them every chance I get! If I could give 10 stars I would!

I called prior to pre registration to make sure the excepted my grandmothers insurance. The lady I spoke with said yes they accept United Healthcare Medicare Advantage. I pre registered, added the insurance info. When we arrive they lady proceeded to say we don’t except that. Why not call us ahead of time and explain instead of waiting till we arrived after we were told they take her insurance, then tell us she hasn’t met her deductible. So why even check her deductible if they don’t accept the insurance. Very unsatisfied and a waste of time getting my 79 yr old grandmother out of the house when all of this could have been prevented.

Went to the clinic and thought I had Covid and I was right the staff in the PA. There were phenomenal. They also called to check on me and sent in follow up prescriptions. I cannot say enough about this location or the provider.

Avoid this place at all costs!!!! I took my 12 year old here for treatment due to symptoms of possible strep throat. They looked at my insurance and saw that I had not yet met my deductible, so they went ahead and charged me $126 up front. After about 45 minutes, they finally called us back and we were seen by a nurse practitioner. She did a three minute exam gave him a strep test, and then 20 minutes later, came back in and said that it was not strep throat and most likely a virus so there was, no way to treat it other than over-the-counter medication. After I left, I received a phone call saying that because of the strep test I owed another $16 that I went ahead and paid over the phone. Now two months later, I receive another bill in the mail that says I owe $54.87 for “medical services.” I called the customer service number to figure out why I owed even more money and what they considered medical services, but they cannot provide me a breakdown of why I owed money, just that I did. Do not go here unless you are prepared to pay untold amounts of money for reasons they can’t fully explain.

Made an appointment for paperwork online, filled out ahead of time and got there 45 mins early. With this prep we were first in line. The staff was patient, caring and supportive with our 4 yr old. Felt well taken care of and not like a bother by any means.

My children and I have seen Ronda Pyles on several occasions and every visit we always receive outstanding care. She has a broad spectrum of knowledge and you can feel the care and passion she has for her job and patients. We always know we will be well taken care of when we see her. They were very professional and well staffed. I was there a very short amount of time for the amount of patience that were ahead of me. The doctor was very thorough and sent off my xrays to be certain and good thing bc he called me shortly after I left to tell me is was worse than we thought and already had follow steps,meds and appts set up. I would definitely use this facility again in the future.

It was a good experience. They seem to be very thorough. When I went in my stomach was killing me. They gave me a pill while I was there that help. The only thing I wish could have been done was for them to give me some medicine to relieve the hurting when I left. There may have been some medical reasons they could not. I was in almost unbearable pain for two extra days.

Polite and timely. They close at 8 and let us know that as long as we made it by 8 pm we would be seen (we called at 7:35). My little girl was having fever and sore throat (suspected strep).$125 private pay visit. $40 rapid strep. Well worth the peace-of mind. Everyone was very kind.

I was seen for a contact dermatitis condition. I was administered a steroid injection and some skin ointment cream, along with over the counter Benadryl. I was given a paper copy of my visit, complete with discharge instructions.I had to wait approximately 40-45 minutes to be seen by a physician assistant, although since this was my first ever visit, a longer wait time should be expected.The staff were all caring, courteous, helpful and professional. I definitely would recommend this clinic for your urgent healthcare needs.

This Urgent Care is the greatest place to get help..the ladies at the front desk are so friendly and efficient!! Dr.Ben Chalstrom was very helpful and looked me in the face to explain what was wrong..and so easy to talk with..I would recommend them to anyone!!

I arrived during the day, hoping for the slowest time, and was pleased to be called and roomed almost right away. CMA was pleasant and efficient, Dr was thorough and got me in and on my way. I always come to this AFC UC due to its location and speed.

Went to urgent care after I had to leave work early because they were about to close. I get there and I didnt have enough for the co pay I was short $2.00. Once I found someone to bring me $2.00 they took me back. They let my co worker come back there to give me the money. My coworker said the receptionist asked her if she had my full amount of co pay and my coworker said no I have what she needs and came in the back to hand me what I was short. The receptionist then came into the room and just held her hand out. She never gave me a receipt either. She was very rude. Yea I should have had my copay but last time I went I didnt need one and its in between paychecks but I needed to be seen. Thr dr that treated me was awesome. But that front end person was very rude.

AFC Urgent Care Fountain City: Front doors opened exactly at 8am we were greeted with G.M. and a smile which makes a difference when youre sick and in pain, lobby was clean and smelling great. Bri & Carla have a great chemistry they ran front desk like a well oiled machine the whole atmosphere was organized and professional. Carl was friendly, patient & informative, filled out paperwork was seen within 10mins. Doug C. was my Nurse immediately I could tell he loved his job, I was feeling dizzy Nurse Doug C. was so attentive I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Rhonda Pyles was friendly and very caring, she listened to my concerns which was kidney pain Dr. Pyles took care of what I needed and then some. No . The staff was amazing. I have a very painful injury. I’m so tired of providers buying into the cult of no pain meds for just a few days. Get TN database is available to all providers. Pain control at this point is beyond ibuprofen and Tylenol. I’m an RN married to a critical care doctor. Not every patient is drug seeking .

I had a great experience with AFC, it was the first time I’ve used them and it was very quick and efficient, the PA and nurse that treated me were both very personable and attentive to my needs, I would definitely use them again!

Excellent staff, very friendly and engaging. I was a walk in for a DOT Physical. I was in and out under 1 hour. The pricing was very competitive, I called 6 different facilities to compare.

I had been dealing with some allergies/congestion for the past week and had already taken two different kinds of medicine from a textcare doctor. I was on the mend but my congestion was still lingering. I wanted to make sure nothing else was going on that I should be concerned with I called around to a few urgent cares wanting to make sure they had a xray machine in case they wanted to take a look. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice and said to make sure I got there before 5 as that is when their xray tech would leave for the day. I arrived an was pretty quickly taken back however was not seen by the doctor until after 5. The first 10 questions out of her mouth were about Covid which did not sit right with me as it made it seem as though she didn’t care what I was actually there for. After explaining the events from over the past 2 weeks. She said she would prescribe me the same medication I already took. I refused and explained that I had already taken that and she said I thought you said you didn’t take that. Then it definitely clicked. She was never listening to what I had said and only was listening to my symptoms. I will not be going back to that location again.

Went for a leg issue after falling. Seen Bryan, Lauren and Caitlin was the PA on staff. Great help, knowledgeable, kind and caring. I would go back for small needs and recommend to anyone to needed care. Thank you three!!

This facility is great. The check in was easy and the check in woman was very helpful and friendly. The nurses were very thorough in asking questions and making me feel comfortable. Ive never seen such a clean Urgent care facility, the Dr was awesome, and the Dr. Assistant KNOWS how to give an injection, thank you AFC URGENT CARE FOUNTAIN CITY.YOU AWESOME!!!Well yesterday the 9th of May I was back to the Urgent care in FOUNTAIN City for an xray on my hand after tripping over the crutches from last time, lol. The Dr. Must think Im either a Very clutsie person or a hypochondriac!!! Either way still very nice, and professional, thanks again, Doc.

I went to this location to get my finger checked out. The front and back office staff were so kind and thorough. I’m so glad I decided to come here to see about my affliction.

I went to AFC with a dislocated finger. I had almost no waiting time and was well taken care of by all staff members. They were all very courteous and friendly.

Went in with several symptoms of shingles but was told to come back if it got worse and received no treatment. I called and stated it was getting worse and I was prescribed lidocaine which is an over the counter drug and does not combat the shingles virus.Luckily I was able to see an NP at my primary care office a few days later and they said I had a textbook case. They put me on antivirals. Receiving antivirals for shingles early greatly reduces the pain and rash associated with the virus. It would have been nice to be taken seriously and been offered treatment before it got so bad. I will not go to this clinic again.

The receptionist was very pleasant..the NP that saw me insisted I go to the ER because of my blood pressure it was 184/107 which i know is dangerously high I got a second opinion and after drinking A Gatorade IV and taking a otc for indigestion by blood pressure dropped to 144/86. I went back to work today came home rested for an hour took my blood pressure 128/ 72.

All of the staff had some personality and I had a laid back yet helpful experience for a cut on my hand. Courtney prolly my favorite interaction chose humor and it in was helpful in the right situation. Thank all of yall for your help. :)

Went to this urgent care a day after a fall snowboarding. With a super painful and swollen wrist I got X-rays done. After “no break or fracture” was found according to them and after being told “it would hurt much worse if it was fractured” and “it should be 80% better in 2 weeks” I went to KOC 4 weeks later and have a obviously broken radius. Do not go to the clinic for orthopedic concerns.

AFC Urgent Care in Ft City has always treated well. PA Caitlyn was very attentive, listened to me & was very friendly & knowledgeable. The nurse & phlebotomist was also friendly & knowledgeable.

I was not optimistic walking in with a non-drastic issue on a holiday, but I was pleasantly surprised: staff moved me through quickly, and the doctor was careful and attentive—in particular with regard to my ongoing other medical issues.

Quick and to the point. Very nice PA, would absolutely visit again for urgent care needs outside of my primary care doc.

I guess i got lucky because i came when nobody was there so was in and out in 30 minutes. Everyone was nice would recommend to others. I would also come back again. However, i would def like to avoid coming when the lobby is full. Everything was clean, dr was nice and listened. I came around an hour before closing. They quit taking pqtients after 7:40 i believe or if they have met their level for the day.

From the first face I saw to the last one it was all smiles, patience, helpfulness and professionalism. I want to make this my primary care facility. Wonderful experience!

I went to the urgent care and was seen by Ben and he was very thorough with explaining what he was going to run tests on and then explaining the test results. He listened to my symptoms and I would highly recommend this Urgent Care to anyone seeking medical care, they were awesome.

My first time here and I would definitely recommend! Only waited 15 minutes to be seen, the receptionist was friendly and the PA was knowledgeable and caring. Glad to know this clinic is in my neighborhood!

The wait was long ( 1 1/2 hours ), but it is a walk-in clinic, and it was the Saturday before Christmas! I was happy to be seen.The staff were friendly and the PA I saw was very nice. It turned out that I had a touch of pneumonia, so Im very happy that I went and was able to start on medication right away. I was given clear instructions on what to do, including follow-up with my MD.I would recommend.

The staff were very nice! I booked the appointment for the wrong location but they were able to get us registered at their location and get us back to be seen.

The facility is very clean and nice. I am here in Knoxville visiting my mom and I ended up with a sinus infection. The staff were very nice and Ronda the PA was very nice and knowledgeable. Thank you!

This was my 3rd visit to this clinic. I explained to all 3 providers the issues that I was having. Sore throat, coughing, sores on and around my nose, weakness and inability to eat because of my throat. I have lost over 25 lbs in 10 days. I was diagnosed with upper respiratory infection only a didn’t really have any sinus issues. They just threw multiple antibiotics at me with little regard to my actual symptoms. The first two providers ignored the sores on my nose and face. I had to tell the last provider what the diagnosis was for my nose!! He then went to look up possible meds for the problem. He took FOREVER to get back to us. I won’t be going back to this clinic, nor will my family.

Woke up sick returning from vacation. Was able to get an appointment right away and get in and out in less than an hour. Everyone was so nice made me feel appreciated.

AFC in Fountain City, TN treated me well; both the Nurses and Doctor were very professional and I feel did a thorough DOT Physical on me.

The check in was very easy on line and the young lady at the front desk who checked me in was friendly and efficient! had to wait longer than expected to see the doctor but with the current staffing shortages, i wasnt surprised.The PA who did my examination answered all of my questions. Blake gave me the needed steroid shot and did GREAT! I hardly felt it!Overall, it was a great experience and I wont hesitate to use them again if I need too (hope I wont) 😊

My last visit the doctor did not have the best interest of the patient. She felt a knot in my back. She prescribed med but I needed some therapy to my back. Returned back to work my back was very irritated after I vacuumed the flooring.

Went in with a sinus infection on Easter Sunday. They opened at 1pm. I was about the 10th person to be seen and felt like it went quickly. Was seen by Bethany Oster PA. She was very professional and communicated well and she listened to my description of symptoms.I would definitely recommend to others.

I was seen in a timely manner, nurses and Dr vere very professional and courteous. Explained all medications and where to get them as Im new to area.

Woke up still itching with a rash on my arms, chest, neck, face ands some on my legs.  I was in and out with in the hour, they normally get to you really quickly and I love that!

I was able to schedule an appointment at 11 pm the night before on their website, and I even completed the paperwork at the same time. I only waited 5 minutes after I arrived.

Took my mother there and they were extremely helpful getting us signed in because I didnt know to register before going. The doctor and nurses were friendly and efficient and took time to diagnose her and quick to send medication to her pharmacy. Even received a follow up call to check on her. Very nice place.

I went in for an urgent care situation. The team got to me quickly and got me on meds super fast which turned everything around and I think has prevented a hospital stay. Ive been a few times for small things but nothing like this. I recommend you go if needed. It also helped that I went online and pre registered before arriving which made me getting back even faster. If you have to go I recommend you do that.

Seen promptly, X-rays taken, medication prescribed effective for acute condition. Ortho recommended for chronic condition. No additional costs beyond co-pay. Great service, zero complaints.

I loved AFC and how they took care of me. I was seen in a timely manner and everyone was nice. Kay triaged me and she made me feel comfortable. Kortney gave me my shot and I barely even felt it, considering I hate needles! My nurse Rhonda was great!!! She was very nice and attentive and made sure I was comfortable. If you were to asked me if I would refer them to a friend…. I’d tell you heck yea!!! Thank you guys for taking care of me!!!!

Filled out all paperwork before appt..very easy to do. I already had sneaky suspicion I had strep & test confirmed it. Everyone was very nice from front staff to the practitioner I saw....

They were very helpful in helping with my issues. Its not over for me, but I know what to do thanks to them.

The provider was super thorough! I had a great experience after my 2 hour wait time that I was quoted lasted 3 hours. I have worked in doctors offices before and understand the system but 3 hours for a 15 minute appointment is just crazy. I wish I could give more stars because the doctor was amazing but the overall experience was subpar.

Facility and staff are very nice. It is highly based on people that have insurance. I paid cash and they gave me a special clipboard to let the staff know I didnt have insurance. Once back into the room waiting on a physician I was given the prices of certain testing. These prices are very high, therefore the level of service changed when a person cant afford certain testing. After I chose not to have testing because of the cost, I was just told to go home and rest and drink fluids. I was still charged the full $125 amount. All Im trying to say is when you cant afford the test want to do then the treatment just basically stops and the $125 is for nothing.

Super easy to preregister and be seen. The staff were polite and professional. The visit was also very quick.

I came in for a workers comp issue, and had some challenges due to the ridiculous amount of unpreparedness my employer had for an injury in the workplace. The front desk staff did a stellar job helping explain what was needed and how the employer should proceed in the future. I was seen promptly, received x-rays, a good diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care. I am extremely pleased with how I was treated and had positive interactions with everyone I dealt with. Probably the best urgent care joint Ive ever been to.

I went in for a drug screen for new employment. Had an issue with the email from my employer, but the lady at the desk was very helpful, courteous and understanding. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I appreciate people like these.

Girls at check in are very polite and professional. I got lucky as there was no wait time when I arrived! Was taken back quickly, was tested for Covid and the flu, only took 15 min to get results! This is actually a correction to a previous reviewThe review I had posted earlierWas a mistakeIt was actually meant for another clinic altogether and I had posted it here by mistakeI felt I got a fair evaluation during my dot physicalI have non-insulin treated diabetesWhich means I take non-insulin medications to control my diabetesThey just wanted a recent A1C test from my primary care physicianAnd since it was at or below 10I passedSo they didnt get ridiculous with their requirementsI was able to easily find out what was required over the phone before I even showed up for the visitThey basically just check for hearing, vision, numbness in the feet and hands, because diabetics can lose sensation in their feet and hands as a result of elevated blood sugars as well as excess protein in the urineWhich can indicate kidney disease(It can also be a sign of a high protein diet such as low carb)Diabetes can destroy nerve endingsCausing diabetic neuropathySo thats why the feet and hands are checked for numbnessIve had DOT physicians ask for ridiculous things like a recent eye exam, a note from my doctor about my blood pressure, etcThats not even necessary if you pass the eye exam and blood pressure test during the examIf a person fails the eye exam while wearing their corrective lenses then by all means they should ask for a recent eye exam to make sure there are no eye diseases like diabetic retinopathy,Glaucoma and other conditions that can be complications of diabetesSo they didnt ask for unnecessary things as part of my physicalWhich didnt put any undue burden on me as a CDL holderI feel that a DOT exam should be focused on safety for the driver and for all of the other drivers on the roadAnd I felt that my DOT examination was just thatIt was about safety, not about putting and unfair burden on me, by inconveniencing me with unnecessary requirementsI have also had dot examiners lie to me and tell me that things that they were asking for were legal requirements when they were notI have even been asked for a sleep study by other DOT physiciansAnd I was told that it was law that I had to have oneWhich is not trueThats actually nothing but fat discriminationBecause skinny people can have sleep apnea tooThat did not happen here at afcSo yeah if youre a non insulin control diabetic, just get a recent A1C from your doctor and take it to your visitAnd if everything else is goodLike blood pressure, vision, etcYou should be fine

The Fountain City location was able to see my son the day after Christmas. They let me know it would be a 45 minute wait but they got us in a little earlier. The staff, both admin and medical were great! Well organized, efficient and kind.

The ladies at the front desk were very nice, polite, and helpful. The wait time was not bad at all, 15-20 minutes, even with 3 people ahead of us. Our nurse was very upbeat and informative. They were overall very helpful and made my daughter feel very comfortable.

I always come here for any issues I have this is the fastest and best place to go. They are always friendly and its always clean the wait is never bad like at the hospitals. They are also great with my kids. I seen Ben on my last visit and he was amazing he really cared to see my get better and doubled checked me out not just the main issue I was having he was very nice and thorough.

It’s very convenient and the staff seems interested in making sure you get the best care possible!

Everyone from the front desk staff back to the Nurse & Doctor were exceptionally nice & helpful.

Was quick and efficient. All intake documents could be done from my phone when I scheduled online, eliminating the need to do paperwork when I arrived. The doctor listened and considered my history in the diagnosis . The whole process was easy and I am thankful I can get good care here on a Sunday morning when I can’t see my doctor.

All around visit was ok, except they saw people that came in after me before me. The receptionist did however notice it to and had me seen next.

The visit went very well The wait wasn’t long and the doctor was able to take care of my issue , so I didn’t have to go to the ER.

I went to this urgent & family care facility because it was close to my home & I didn’t want to have to travel to campus to be seen. I went on a Monday, in which Mondays can be very busy, and it took me 1.5 hrs to be put in a room and another 45 mins to be seen. Nevertheless, I was fine with waiting and the doctor was very nice. My issue was with one of the receptionists. I had gotten a call back about my test results and I wasn’t near the phone when they called. So for the next 3 days, I made it a plan to call them back and leave voicemail replies. Anyway, it’s Sunday and I was still sent to voicemail so I called the office back and I respectfully requested that the receptionist would give them a heads up about my calls (because I understand that they are busy but I also know that I am in pain during this whole time that I’m waiting). The lady on the phone was very rude and defensive in this request. She was also very passive aggressive in tone; speaking to me like I am a child and like she actually cared (but obviously did not). I called back after she rudely still put me through with the nurses station & spoke with another receptionist who was able to read my results, which I was thankful for. However, she could not tell me who was assisting her with the calls during that time which I also thought was fishy. The lady who I spoke with initially said her name was “TJ” or something similar sounding (I couldn’t tell because she said it so fast). Anyway, probably my last time here. I just did not appreciate how she spoke to me as a guest of the facility.

Visited with my son tonight and had the hands down, best service I’ve ever received at any clinic! The front desk girls were so sweet and kind, the triage nurse was amazing and so was the NP! Very impressed with the entire experience! Great job!

Much better experience here at this location versus South Knoxville office. I have had to come a few times in the past week, due to falling at work. I feel I got better care with Heidi, she really looked me over and took care of me. Ben and Mycah listen to my concerns. Thank you all so much for taking care of me. My experience was wonderful!! They were so nice from the receptionist to the nurse and the doctor. I just went in on August 2 with a horrible cough. They checked me for Covid and A & B flu. I saw Dr. Ben. He is so very nice and I ended up having an acute respiratory infection. He gave me a z pack and prednisone. They always call and check on me too. Then on August 10th, I had to go back because this respiratory thing going around is not clearing up and I was still coughing, as many are having a hard time getting rid of it. I saw Kateland and they did a chest X-ray to make sure I didn’t have pneumonia. I had the same thing so they gave me Docycycline; cough meds and more prednisone if I needed it. They took great care of me as always and treated me with such kindness!! Nurse Lauren, I think it was, took excellent care of me and did my X-rays. I’m so thankful for this clinic for when I get sick and can’t get in last minute with my pcp or it’s the weekend and I don’t want to go to the ER. I can’t say enough about this place. Thank you for all you do!!

Absolutely horrible people, the big girl checking people in the lobby was so rude, didn’t look up to even see me, gets mad that I don’t know how to sign in to their office being my first time. They should just fire out all those girls because they are clearly too miserable with life to even be a decent human being to sick people just trying to get help. For you guys to act like I’m not even there, really shows the character of this office. I wasn’t even able to fully sign in and wait in the lobby before I already had this kind of interaction, I couldn’t imagine going to the back and getting seen.

This is the only Urgent Care I go too. Everyone is helpful, friendly, and really care about the patient.

I saw Brad over the summer and we saw him again today for my husband. He is so knowledgeable and professional. You can tell he cares and does a great job giving you all the info you need and to be aware of. A lot of doctors today do not do that. I highly recommend him!

I have taken my family here before, however I hadn’t been seen! The lady at the front desk really didn’t want to be bothered. I left like I was an inconvenience to her. However the rest of the staff was amazing. A++++++ to them all. The Nurse who came in was very caring, she was amazing. The doctor was awesome. There was a man who came in and gave me my discharge instructions he was so nice. He even walked me out. Amazing staff. Will definitely come back. Thank you all for your hard work. You all are amazing.

O usually really love this place. And the doc today was great- the nurse is always sweet! (We are frequent flyers unfortunately ) but today was SO DANG SLOW! I think only one doc was working so not anyone’s fault I guess but when you take kids to the doc you want to get in and out. The place was almost empty and the online checkin says even if you pre register- you are working on a first come first serve basis. Well 3 people came in after us and all were taken back before us to that was confusing. Overall- still love this place and it’s so convenient to home but today was a bummer

The staff was efficient and kind. The PA and nurse who saw me were knowledgeable and compassionate. I was seen and treated in about an hour. If I need Urgent Care again, I will definitely return, and I will recommend the clinic to others.

I would highly recommend AFC Urgent Care. Ive been there numerous times. The staff is always very nice and helpful. I was slammed with errands that I couldnt put off. I stopped in at AFC. The wait wasnt long whatsoever. I spent no longer than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The nurse came in and checked my vitals etc. It was no time when the doctor came in and told me the results of my urine sample. It turned out I have a UTI. The doctor was super nice and professional. He asked me if I had any questions, I didnt feel rushed at all. My medications were sent in before I arrived at the pharmacy. Thanks to AFC I was able to get my errands done. Now I have my weekend for relaxation. All is well🙂Update on Monday:I received a call from AFC Saturday to check on me. I cant say enough good things about them.

Was in town visiting family for Thanksgiving when I got sick, so made an appointment and got in same day. I didn’t have to wait too long after arriving and was seen by lady doctor whom I liked, and very thorough in checking me out. Gave me a shot and prescribed meds and was on my way. Highly recommend this place.

Going to urgent care is rarely a pleasant experience. Despite a desperate situation on a weekend, I was instantly calmed and slightly alleviated upon being greeted by Lyndsay.She had such a genuinely caring demeanor and it started the process off on the best note possible. She was quick and efficient processing my information and explained every step and the need for it. While waiting, I witnessed her display the same congeniality with other stressed, frazzled patients.It felt like an incredibly minimal wait and the nurses/ma/paS I encountered as well as the physician were equally competent and gracious.I hope not to have an often need to visit this practice, but in the event I do for myself or my family, I hope Lyndsay is the smiling face I encounter first at check in.Kudos Lyndsay and the Fountain City AFC team :)

Very caring and professional staff who worked quickly and provided excellent information throughout my visit. You hope you never need urgent care, but if you do, choose AFC.

I went in with a bump on my arm that hurt. I is an abscess, so it needed to be drained. The PA that took care of me was very nice and informative. They opened it and drained it. I felt very comfortable everyone was very kind and helpful. I will go back when I am unable to get into my Doctor. You will receive professional and caring treatment starting with the front staff all the way to the medical staff. It is an awesome place to go.

I scheduled a pre-employment drug screening and registered with my employer on their website. They advertise an on site laboratory, so you don’t have to wait for results. They actually don’t mention at all that it will be a send-off screening until they package it up and dismiss you to the lobby. They don’t inform you how you obtain the results or give an estimated time frame.When I called for an update, the stated they could not release the results to my employer due to HIPPA. After I told her that the employer name and contact was completed on the initial paperwork, she informed me that I would need to return to the office to sign a form. Sounds like someone didn’t obtain the proper paperwork at the appointment.Update: 7 days later - no resultsUpdate: 11 days later - results with no release to employer

Best urgent care visit we’ve ever experienced! Entire team was fast, efficient, kind, thorough and so friendly. From the front door to our exit we were treated with professionalism and warmth! We were visiting from out of town and had to run in last minute for a visit and I am so glad we chose American Family (AFC Urgent Care Fountain City).
