I always receive wonderful service at Manhattan Medical, when I call to make or change my appointments Joel always works very hard to provide me with impeccable customer service. The doctors are amazing, they work with me to assist me in maintaining my health. It feels good to have do their best to care for you. I would recommend this clinic to anyone who is looking for great medical care.

Samuel is always super kind and helpful, so is the other guy, I think his name is Harry. I truly appreciate their assistance. Dr. Hanif is wonderful, she is very caring, knowledgeable and efficient. Dr. Erich is also wonderful, kind, caring & knowledgeable. I always feel cared for when I see them. I go to the Manhattan location since it is close to my job. I would’ve given 5 stars but the heavy set woman (I think she’s Native American, it’s important to differentiate because there is another heavy set woman there who is always kind) who sits at the front desk has an attitude that is VERY uncomfortable, unwelcoming and unpleasant. Once you get past her the doctors are great.

I had a great experience at Manhattan Medical Arts. Starting with the receptionist who was very kind and attentive. The PA was very instrumental in helping me stay on top of my medication. And vHarry who handles billing was also great over the phone in assisting me in contacting the PA, I think her name was Christina. Long story short, I absolutely had a pleasant visit.

Scheduling was a breeze and the customer service is beyond my expectations. Called to get a RX refill the gentleman in the phone was patient courteous and expedited and accommodated my visit requests. Thank you Manhattan medical for your wonderful staff members. Hope they get wonderful holiday bonuses and treated as wonderful as they treat the patient.

As someone who gets overwhelmed with scheduling medical stuff and dealing with logistics, this office is incredible. Patient and helpful and quick. I highly recommend. Christopher really helped me out with some medication and insurance changes, and made the process smooth and stress free.

I was seen by Dr Crystal Chung who works with Manhattan Medical Arts as a PA, she was very attentive and spent a lot of time with me, hearing all my concerns. She was very personable and knowledgeable, the staff was also great. The facility is new and clean, I didnt wait longer than 10 minutes before I was seen. All in all, glad to have found a new PCP!

I am a patient of Dr Hanif at Manhattan Medical Arts. She is so kind and helpful with her diagnosis. She explains everything in a clear and understandable manner. I feel so confident and satisfied with my visits. I can’t recommend her highly enough. It a strange this to say but I am pleased to be her patient.

Dr. Silva was very professional add attentive to all my needs and issues yesterday. He sent all the referrals and did my annual physical exams. The waiting time was excellent. Dr Silva is absolutely a wonderful doctor. He has a lot of expertise and knows how to diagnose and treat a patient as they need. Walking into his office doesn’t feel heavy nor worrisome, in fact comforting. Appreciate all the support from Manhattan Medical Arts especially the customer support, they are so helpful with contacting the doctor, figuring out insurance issues and rescheduling last min appointments and they are patient and kind while doing it. The dr and staff are great, and overall great experience each time.

I had an appointment at 11:30 AM and ended waiting an hour for the doctor to come and see me. Once he did I had to get up and close the door myself. The doctor also sent my prescription with unclear, incomplete and incorrect instructions for the pharmacy to fill. I tried calling the operator and after explaining my situation he said he would give me a call back after filling the prescription the correct way. It has been almost an hour and I have not received a call back for medication I need before the office closes.The whole office and operation is unprofessional. I would give this place 0 stars if I could

Very good service. Crystal Chung is great! Very nice and easy in communication. Siddharth Dalal as a neurologist guided me with medication for my headaches. Receptionists are also polite and respectful. Alex, who I spoke on the phone was super understanding and helpful. Great service!

I really wanted to have a good experience at Manhattan Medical Arts in Forest Hills, but unfortunately, it fell short. Even though I had an appointment, I waited for over an hour, and no one explained why. The atmosphere was hectic, with people coming and going, and it felt like they were just trying to get through as many patients as possible. When I finally got to see the doctor, it felt rushed, and my questions werent fully answered. It was disappointing because I believe healthcare should be about taking the time to address patients needs. I would recommend finding a clinic that makes you feel heard and cared for.

This was such an amazing experience. I was experiencing a lot of stress looking for a clinic with a PCP and a Neurologist accepting new patients and then I found MMA. I was treated with kindness and compassion for what I was going through and was told what my options are and what I can do for the next steps. I recommend them :)

Ive spoken to Chris and other folks over the phone who gave wonderful customer service over the phone when booking or rescheduling appointments. The office is clean and the doctors on staff are patient, thorough, and helpful in caring for the people they work with.

I am going to leave my original review below, just so customers are aware and I highly advise that you double check everything before blindly trusting what you are billed, also make sure your insurance is in the loop. Manhattan Medical Arts gave me my money back and brought down my bill which I do greatly appreciate. However it took 6 months and me leaving a bad review here on google, also going back and forth with their billing dept severals times to resolve this issue. They are an in network facility and my insurance told me exactly how much I shouldve been billed and it should have never been more. Im still quite upset that they billed me 6 months later without my permission and double the amount that I should have ever been billed. They continue to blame my insurance for this... which I still dont understand. My insurance is the one protecting me, not them. Anyways, if you leave a bad review, theyll give you your money back..... ohh and they finally gave me my test results to my blood tests from back in February, it is now November.This place is a scam! Ordered a bunch of blood tests, never gave me the results. Billed my insurance then went on to bill me. Without my permission they charged 127 dollars to my credit card, over 6 months after my visit. Theyve already collected all funds from my insurance. I cannot believe that a healthcare center facility is able to do this after the sorts of oaths they take to protect and help people.

If youre in need of a basic physical examination or the diagnosis/treatment of a routine health concern by competent, compassionate staff, MMA is a good option. If you have literally ANY health needs more complex than that, you should probably look elsewhere unless you have the time, energy, and inclination to fight relentlessly for even marginally meaningful updates, let alone timely treatment.Any calls to this practice appear to be routed to an offsite call center, with seemingly no way to directly contact the office short of an in-person visit. This wouldnt be a dealbreaker in and of itself, save for the fact that said call center appears to be wholly unequipped to handle even basic requests for information or assistance. The rep(s) you speak to are also blatantly dishonest, claiming to be physically based at the clinic when thats clearly not the case, promising follow-up calls that almost never happen, etc. Not at all what you want from the people handling your sensitive health information.Furthermore, insurance claims have a nasty tendency to fall into a black hole of incorrect billing codes and repeatedly delayed approvals, such that you may wait in the dark for weeks if not months for a procedure or diagnostic, lest you call daily until the situation is resolved (and be prepared to fully recount your situation and needs every single time, as the aforementioned call center does not appear to keep meaningful records). And dont bother trying to use the web portal for anything other than verifying you have an appointment or viewing bloodwork results, because Im pretty sure nobody associated with the practice actually monitors the thing.Ultimately, my experience leads me to view MMA as a step or two above an urgent care clinic. My real gripe is that they advertise themselves to be a full-scale primary care facility with a variety of specializations, yet consistently fall well short of that promise. I suppose I shouldve raised an eyebrow from the jump when I had such an easy time booking a same-week physical, but you know what they say about things that seem too good to be true...(Again, this is all an indication of MMAs clerical and administrative capacity to address health needs beyond the most basic, not an indictment of PA Chung, Dr. Silva, or the rest of the care staff, whom Ive found to be as competent, attentive, and thorough as any. They alone keep me from rendering a single-star review.)

Coming from someone who had seen the same dr my whole life and now making an appt to see a new one I was nervous. But everyone was super pleasant and Crystal chung that saw me took the time to listen to me attentively and I felt heard. Will def be making all my future appt here.

Visiting the doctor’s office in person is always a good experience. I’m not a fan of having to always go through a call center. I’m never able to speak directly with my doctor or anyone at the actual doctor’s office even when I have quick questions. The staff in the call center is always helpful and kind, but I do not feel a personal connection to my doctor, which is unfortunate.Also, every time I make an appointment I have to provide much of the information I feel like they should have on record (i.e., insurance info, known allergies, etc.)

I had a lot of issues with them when I first started using them, but theyve turned around and have been good for me lately.

I have had a great experience with Dr. Silva. He is very attentive and through. The whole staff is very nice and helpful. This is a great office.

I have a great experience. I went in for my physical as a new patient. The nurse was very informative and explained everything to me thoroughly. I met with Dr. Silva where he was also very informative. He asked me a lot of questions and was able to answer all my questions. Will also be sending my husband there for his annual. Alex also followed up and made sure everything went smoothly which I greatly appreciated.

The staff is amazing! Great customer service, no long wait times like you would see in these other medical facilities. Dr. Chung is great, she listened to my concerns and executed a plan for me. Alexs courtesy call was just the cherry on top.

I met with PA Crystal Chung for my earache/pain. She made me feel welcome, very comfortable, and examined both my ears right away. She asked lots of questions to rule out causes, and we figured out together what to do next (since the headache had been recurring). She also recommended ear drops to help me to avoid messing with my ears. She listened to my info very carefully and considered everything I said, and was not at all dismissive. The facility is also very nice and impressive. This beats urgent care (a high copay for me) any day!

Dr. Silva is very informative and patient. The nursing and front office staff are always warm and welcoming. I always know I am in the best care when I visit.

Juel is great always assisting with scheduling and Dr. Silva is very attentive and makes me feel comfortable to talk about any medical issues I am dealing with and gives me alternate feedbacks that are cost effective.

The customer service is horrible.. I cannot get anyone on the phone when I call.. I was prescribed medication and it’s taking almost a month for them to do prior authorization.. if you need efficient service do not come to this location .. they only want your Co pay .

So far just had a phone appt and that went extremely well!!! However did proceed to setup an in person annual wellness visit at the forest hills location with Harry. Im excited! Thanks again!

The doctor was good and attentive. The staff is a little bit not attentive to patient. She asked me to drink something for lab testting. After finish drink , she left suddenly without telling me anything. The way she talked look aggressive or annoy. i have to ask whatz next while she is walking out the door. Furtermore, i heard what they gossip about me..i hope this feedback would be useful and see some improvement.

Probably the WORST experience of my life. I literally had to walk out on this place! 2 hours of sitting in a waiting for NOTHING! Nothing was done! I was asked a bunch of questions and that was it! What an epic waste of time! Now I have to reschedule another appt with another doctor. What a shame because the place was really nice and the staff was exceptionally nice! Very friendly and sociable but the efficiency was just not there. If you’re someone that enjoys spending 2 hours in a room for no clear reason then come here you’ll have a ball!

I went to this FH location Thursday at 12:45 for an appointment for painful breathing, sore throat, terrible cough, dizziness, etc. The Doctor didnt seem to really listen to anything that I was concerned about and said it was probably allergies because my sinuses were also red. He said he was sending 4 prescriptions to CVS pharmacy and we parted ways. I went to CVS 5 hours later to pick them up, only 1 was ready. Back and forth calls between the office and CVS, never got my prescription. I ended up feeling even worse and had to go to the urgent care on Sunday...turns out I have a COLLAPSED LUNG. How did the doctor miss this? Why did he assume my pain and symptoms were just allergies. I still havent heard from Manhattan Medical Arts about the whole prescription fiasco, I probably never will hear from them.Honestly thank god the practice was so incompetent and didnt get the prescription figured out because I probably wouldve ignored my pain and not gone to get a chest xray. Please if you value your health, if you want to be listened to, if you want to be treated like a human who doesnt feel good instead of $$$...do not go here.**Update: their response is hilarious, saying they have no record of me as a patient. Pretty genius. Maybe that’s why they had such an impossible time remembering me, my pain, and my prescriptions? Just go somewhere else.

Manhattan Medical- Forest Hills is a hidden gem. From the ease of making an appointment, to the friendly and cordial front end staff, and the kind and knowledgable doctors, they are exceptional.

The doctor was very attentive to my needs. She was sweet and went above and beyond to make sure that all of my medical concerns were prioritised. Definitely happy with my experience.

I had a televisit while I was on vacation. I needed a referral to see a specialist when I return from vacation. A few minutes before the apt. I was sent a link to make my copay online. Then a rep called me to ask some preliminary medical questions. She asked if I wanted a video visit or telephone call. Since the WiFi wasn’t good where I was visiting, I opted for a telephone call. The doctor called me a few minutes later to discuss the referral. The following day, a rep named Harry called to ask me about my visit. I was very satisfied with the attention, service and follow up provided.

RUN! This place is a SCAM that only wants your co-pay and to bill your insurance. I should have known something was off when I called the office’s number and got a call center in India…and when I asked to speak with someone at the actual office, they said I cant transfer you.The wait times are long, the front desk staff is rude and inattentive, and the medical assistants don’t even know how to draw blood and take a person’s temperature. Y’all, I thought I was in the Twilight Zone visiting this office. A medical assistant who doesn’t know how to draw blood or take a temperature?????Moreover, Dr. Mauricio Silva, one of the center’s “leading” doctors, is incompetent and does not know much about medicine, which is sad considering he is DOCTOR (smh).There are thousands of medical offices around the city that you can find on ZocDoc or by doing a simple Google search. Do not waste your time with this predatory medical center.

I went to Manhattan medical arts in November for my yearly check up for the first time. I saw a doctor Silva and I had a good first appointment. I went around early afternoon, 2 PM, and the office was not busy at all, and I was in and out in about an hour.The only downside to the appointment is that usually at other doctor offices I’m asked if I want to get tested for extra things such as Vitamin D, STDs etc. But this office didn’t and my insurance doesn’t cover all of the lab so I did have to pay out of pocket but next time I’d just mention it.The best part about this office is the customer service. Usually the worst part about doctors offices is the customer service but Manhattan Medical Arts honestly is wonderful in that aspect. I’ve had a few different phone calls related to billing, appointments, and the health I received was wonderful.Today I had the pleasure of speaking with Harryson who helped me with my insurance/copayment issue so swiftly. I told him my issue and he immediately handled it and gave me a call back when done.Interactions like these keep patients at a doctor’s office and I will definitely keep going to Manhattan Medical Arts. Definitely recommend!

I had a really horrible experience with this practice in Forest Hills. Their billing practices seem very unethical. I lost a morning of work, was double charged for a co-pay, forced to pay for unrelated tests that I my insurance doesnt cover (without being informed), and now I am being charged for a missed appointment that I explicitly said I did not want. I hate to say this about any small business but...I would avoid this practice.

Such an amazing experience at this place! Dr. Chung was a wonderful and caring doctor and the front desk staff was so friendly and humorous! I had been bounced around the day before to five different healthcare centers searching for a place that would help me with a urine drug test for a school internship. My anxiety was through the roof trying to find a place that would take me. Thank you Zocdoc for pairing me up with this office because everyone made the appointment so smooth and fast despite me being pretty late (I sincerely apologize for that) and took my insurance! I appreciate this office very very very much! Thank you again for making my day!

Please do not make an appointment here if you value your health. I scheduled a phone appointment with Dr. Mauricio Silva. 30 minutes before I am supposed to have the appointment I get called by the staff so they can ask some questions and make me pay the copay. They say the doctor will call shortly after. I wait till 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment and call to see what is going on, someone answers briefly and says theyll let the doctor know. 40 minutes pass and still not a word from anyone. Do not go here, please, for your own benefit go somewhere else.

The service here was amazing I had the pleasure of dealing with Yasmine the office manager which was joyful. She was very helpful with my labs and my insurance issues. Shana was also friendly and kind I felt welcomed here I will definitely be using this office permanently.-Jen CN

My wife came here for a routine exam. Ended up getting a ton of tests done and was charged a ton of money because, according to the bill they emailed, our insurance company didnt cover her. Was suspicious when the address on the bill that was past due had an address in Manhattan when we live in Queens. Called them last week and turns out, they had her DOB and, obviously, her address wrong and said they would run it again, hopefully, with the correct information this time. Got another bill in the mail again today with the same amount. They got the address right this time! Too bad it still looks like they have her info wrong to run against our insurance. For your sanity and patience, stay away from this place. Turns out not only do they not help with your health issues, their inability to do basic data entry will GIVE you more physical and mental health issues later on down the line....

I just wasted my time. I Couldnt get results of one of my labs bcs it was not performed in a right way. Plus I was ordered to go to cardiologist ONLY in Manhattan office, bcs their docs dont work with anyone out of their office chain. Thats very inconvenient, cuz I choose medical offices around the place I live. Plus they wanted me to perform unnecessary tests, which I had to pay 100 copay. Plus manager at this location is very arrogant, oh dont dare to tell her smth she doesnt like, shell talk you off. And she talks about their workers in front of patients, very unprofessional. I have a lot more to say, but I think this is enough to think if you want to deal with this money sucking corporation lolThe only goodness in this office is the medical assistants, very nice and pleasant girls.

Harry and the receptionists are very helpful, and Dr Hanif is caring and thorough.

There isn’t any parking available and street parking is very difficult.

Waste of time, they forgot to take my blood until the very end of the appt. Got my results back and says results can’t be read because the “sample clotted”. Nurse did not know what she was doing. I was there for almost three hours. Plus they’ll try to take your money even if you don’t have a co-pay. Go elsewhere.

No help!!!they are charging(stealing) extra money from every customer do not pay a bill coming from this office I had 1 test that my insurance even paid for more after the test that I didnt go back due to the underage nurse didnt stop flirting with me and after the test oppointment that insurance paid more, they send me personal bills I will never pay but sue this business!!!!!!

The back office is responsive in billing issues!

Provided services I didn’t ask for, told me they were routine and would be covered by my pre-approved medical insurance, but later received a bill for almost $300 for the exact services I didn’t need or ask for. They also made me come in to get blood test results, so that they could charge me for another co-pay. Do not go here.
