NP Jen Hunter was extremely attentive throughout the whole visit, she showed great concerned and offered her main diagnosis as well as some differential ones. Although I ultimately ended up at the ER, the care and attention i received at the urgent care was by far much much better. The MAs were also very sweet and attentive.
I have been to this urgent care now on three separate occasions. Its brand new and super clean and even without an appointment there is hardly a wait.On my most recent visit the staff there was exceptional (10/25). Melanie, Marcella and John took great care of me and my family and were the inspiration for me to write this review today. There are many urgent care offices closer to my house, but I specifically drive to this one because of the staff friendliness, professionalism and genuine care.
Front desk staff and provider were friendly and fast. I had to return later that week to drop off a sample and the person at the front desk this time (unlike my original visit) was rude and didn’t seem to want to be bothered. Not surprisingly my sample was lost so I was unable to get a final diagnosis on my illness.
Thank you for saving my life this past Saturday when I came in with what turned out to be an active heart attack. Your speedy administration of the EKG, expressing your concern, calling the ambulance, and transporting me to VHC got me on the surgery table in time for a stent to be inserted and lessen long term damage. Thank you from the bottom of my now patched heart!
Always such a great experience! Its wonderful being able to sign up in advance for appointments, theres barely any wait-time, its staffed by pleasant and professional people, and its always smooth, efficient, and low-drama. For me, its a much better alternative than the ER.
It is very easy to take an appointment for the same day.The team is nice, fast, and professionalIm glad I went there !
Very efficient at getting checked in and seen by the doctor. Staff was friendly. The doctor listened exceptionally well, not rushed, was very compassionate, answered. all my concerns, and provided helpful information regarding the prescribed medications. Would definitely be my first choice for again for urgent care!
Ive been there three times for myself and family members and each time my visit has been great! Easy check-in, hardly a wait, friendly staff. At my last visit I was in and out with test results in 20 minutes! Incredible!
The provider Jennifer is amazing every single time we go there with my baby. And Tonisha the lady with long beautiful braids is so helpful, kind and friendly. Truly we go out of the way to go to this urgent care because of the service we receive and the customer service we get. We could go 2 blocks down to PAC but instead we choose you guys keep up the good work. Mom & Achilles
It was so easy to book an appointment online. Filling out forms and uploading photos of cards was very easy. The site was clean, organized and very well run. I’m glad to have it in the neighborhood!
We had an unpleasant experience with the receptionist who had a horrible attitude toward us.During a visit in Arlington, because my son felt faint, we went took this urgent care that was the closest. The receptionist snidely refused to let my son a visit, saying to go somewhere else since we were «tourists».Without letting us talk or even listening our request, she kept repeating we’re wasting our time arguing with her. It is really unpleasant, especially when someone is sick, to be arguing with there kinds of people: I think this lady is not suitable for reception. We had to go to another urgent care where we were instead promptly (and kindly) received.
User beware. I went on Dec. 7th and paid my Co-Pay it was with my Insurance until 1-7 and then by 1-12 INOVA had sent it to collections for a $14 bill. This is very shady. I was never invoiced or received any notice by INOVA and then they sent me to collections. They didnt send it to my insurance within time, but they wrote the $14 charge off of their books, claimed it was a fraud loss and then sent me to collections. Do not use INOVA.
Came in with my toddler in the last hour of the day and the staff and NP were very nice. There was no wait at the time, and they got us processed quickly. The MA and NP listened to our concerns thoroughly and gave us a plan of care to bridge the gap until my son could get to the allergist.
Was able to make a same day appointment and it was a very smooth process! I was seen right away, the facility was clean, and I was pleased with the quality of care and recommendations.
Regarding Inova Urgent Care’s Wilson Blvd facility, Front Desk representative Shaniqua and NP Jennifer were both extraordinary, each giving their own brand of caring aesthetics.Due to my daughters traumatic brain injury, the music piping through the facility triggered unbearable symptoms and distress. Shaniqua did everything possible to lower the volume which proved impossible for both her and everyone else at the facility. Shaniqua was all about resolution: she ushered my daughter and me into an unused X-ray room which was quiet and a huge relief— for us, this was a baller move and proved that Shaniqua is a goddess.NP Jennifer is another Wilson facility wonder. Imagine a young, beautiful NP who somehow has the aspect of a wise, caring grandmother. NP Jennifer greeted my daughter and me with positivity and chipper confidence. She listened attentively with an empathetic ear, asked relevant questions, and treated my ailment with kindness and transparency. Throughout the examination NP Jennifer demonstrated that she is a knowledgeable, efficient, truth bearing, and overall exceptional healthcare provider. Simply put, NP Jennifer has that “je ne sais quoi” energy that sparkles with both pure capableness and warm professionalism— this is her magic. One more thing: The Wilson Blvd facility was clean and the wait time was extraordinary. Just wow!
Receptionist was a pain dealing with throughout the visit. I had told her I was there because of complete loss of appetite and severe light headedness which most likely had to do with me vomiting the day prior. Repeatedly, she asked me why I decided to come as if the reasons I listed above weren’t valid concerns. I was then told I had to get blood drawn for tests. It took the receptionist 3 different tries sticking a needle in my arm to find a vein (I have never had this problem ever in the past). Finally, she gave up and called the NP. NP was very delightful to work with. She was able to stick my vein and draw blood on her first try.
We had a horrific experience with this urgent care on Friday, August 23. The website clearly states that the hours extend until 8 p.m. We arrived at 7:50 p.m. and they coldly refused to see us. One receptionist - I did not catch her name - responded with a sarcastic attitude when I pointed this out, snidely saying, Youre wasting your time arguing with me.
If youre sick dont add to your stress by coming to this location. There are others nearby that will treat you better and charge you less.Staff seemed impatient and unwilling to help. Process took almost 2 hours for a cold/antibiotics. Charged me 200$ at time of visit with no additional cost mentioned. I received a bill a week later for an additional 125$ with no explanation. I called their billing service and they said the bill was sent by mistake and I was paid in full. 5 days later I get an email that my payment of 125$ has been confirmed. A payment I did not authorize, was not informed of, was made using my card which I did not know they had saved in the system, and had been told would not be charged as it was a mistake. When I called after seeing the charge the lady I spoke to said that this was standard. They charge 200$ for the privilege of walking into their building. Go down the street to PMA health urgent care, they charge half the price, have better service and no hidden billing weeks later.I reviewed all the paperwork I was given when I left and there is NO mention of additional charges or saving my card info for future payments.Edit added over a month later: Despite calling and following the link to get in touch provided by whoever runs the responses for them here, I have not heard anything from Inova till today, where I got another text saying I owe them money again. The responsiveness from them on this is on par with everything else Ive experienced from this urgentcare. The only time they have made any attempt to contact me is for billing exclusively despite their own request that I reach out on their contact page.I wish I could leave another review for another 1 star
Clean facility. The staff was friendly, helpful, and I was out of the office with my prescription in hand within an hour and a half, on CHRISTMAS DAY! Definitely recommend.
The NP Maddie was great, but the receptionist had a horrible attitude. I went with a sprain ankle, and she made me walk around a lot. When NP Maddie was finishing up with another patient, the receptionist said very loudly, ughh we dont have time for more patients... we are supposed to close now. Then, whenever they called me to the room, the receptionist offered me a wheeled office chair, but she put it as far from me as possible, so I still had to walk to it. While willing me in, the receptionist smacked me against an extinguisher attached to the wall. No apologies offered. There was a chair on the way, so I tried to move it so she would not smack my leg against it. She grunted and said in a very aggressive tone, I GOT IT. Then she just had an attitude the rest of the time, put on the cast boot wrong, and was making sounds pf discontent the whole time.NP Maddie was very gentle, very attentive and very nice, but the receptionist made the visit a chore. She needs to find a different line of work. She clearly doesnt care for people.
The NPs are great but the nursing assistant was extremely rude. She had difficulty finding a vein in my arm even when I offered my other arm. She continually flicked it and kept tightening the band until she could get a vein. She complained it kept going back down and tried to twist my arm and ask why my arm wouldn’t bend a certain way…not knowing I have a previous dislocation in my elbow and surgery that has left me partially disabled. She kept straightening her arm and looking at mine asking why mine wouldn’t go flat.I’ve been to countless military and private clinics and hospitals all over the U.S. and overseas I’ve never had an issue with my blood being drawn…especially with a butterfly needle.Due to this treatment, I will not go back. It’s a shame because INOVA is a great group but I’m going to bring my business to AllCare where they are much friendlier and non judgmental.
My wife sent me to Urgent Care although I wanted to tough-out ribcage pains I had after a fall (Im 75). I was treated with care and concern and was referred to a nearby x-ray service. They identified a broken rib and my Urgent Care NP followed with great advice for how to remediate the pain. Bravo!
Outstanding and professional attention. The medicine prescribed by doctor was quite effective. I totally recommend InovaaGoHealth Urgent Care. Thank you very much! German Prado Pizarro
Absolutely miserable receptionist. Made me feel extremely uncomfortable and had the worst attitude Ive ever encountered. Threw a pen at me. Fire her immediately.
Great staff! Admissions and PA were kind and professional. Quick reservation online and intake. Much appreciated as a sick traveler. Thank you!!
This facility advertises that they have an X-ray capability, but they actually dont have a full time X-ray technician. We scheduled an appointment for an X-ray, but after being checked in were told that there is no technician and we needed to go to VHC for an X-ray. We would NOT have gone to this facility had we known that they do not have an X-ray technician. I tried calling before our appointment to make sure, but for some reason the receptionist would tell me to wait on the line, and would then disconnect. Happened three times. There may be other Non X-Ray services that are good in this facility, but we are definitely not coming back here anytime soon.
Ample same-day appointments available, efficient staff, clean and modern facilities, and plenty of dedicated parking outside.
I was impressed by how quickly and efficiently everything was done. Everyone was friendly and professional, I was diagnosed, then had the results explained to me and Rx,s sent to my pharmacy. It was a very easy process, great service!
It lists that this place is open til 8 pm, I arrived at 7:55 in scrubs clearly coming off shift, and the nurse who was eating a snack told me that the computer cuts off adding patients in. I asked what time the computer cuts off for future reference, to which the nurse responded, “I don’t know”. Not a great first experience
Excellent emergency care. The receptionist came right up to me when I was bleeding and I was seen immediately. The physican assistant (PA) was quick to examine me, sent me for an X-ray, and called me back with results within 2 hours. I’d highly recommend them for urgent care issues.
Today, I visited this practice and completed all the necessary paperwork. However, I was billed incorrectly, which caused a delay in my appointment. I had to wait for the staff to correct the billing mistake and issue a refund before I could be seen. Despite my request to fix the problem while I was being seen, the front desk staff gave me an attitude. Although the doctor was very pleasant, the overall appointment took much longer than expected.
Staff was friendly, and provided prompt attention. Unfortunately, I was referred there by INOVA staff for an X-ray but given this is a relatively new facility the machine was not ready and there was no technician. Quickly resolved by touting me to another nearby facility. All ended well just an issue of messaging coordination.
The staff that I dealt with were very friendly and professional. Other than the maybe 4 minutes to ‘check-in’ via a phone link, the total wait time was under 10 minutes. Very convenient and a great backup trying to get in to see your physician.
The only drawback to this medical practice is the parking garage. VERY poorly marked and extremely frustrating and stressful to navigate
One star because the staff there was nice and friendly. Getting a slot and online check in was a breeze. HOWEVER…I hurt my ankle/leg. Nothing serious, but I figured I should get it checked out. Showed up, paid my co-pay, went back to see the PA (who again was very nice), and she said she would right me an order for an X-Ray. I said, the website said you had an X-Ray here. She said the website was wrong and they’ve been begging them to change it. She said the machine is there, but it’s not working and even if it was there is no X-Ray tech there. So she wrote me an order and told me to go home and do the “RICE” deal. I stopped by the front desk on the way out and said that they should put a sign up or something that indicates that they don’t have X-Ray. The person at the front said “they would get written up for that.” This is about as dishonest of a practice that I can imagine. If I’d known they didn’t take X-Rays, I’d gutted it out until tomorrow and gone to see my Ortho. This is akin to going to a barber shop, paying $50 for a haircut and then being told there are no barbers there, but I can tell that you really need a haircut, here are a couple of places you can go to get one. Again nice folks. If you have something that does not require X-Ray, perhaps they will do a good job, but the lack of an X-Ray and not being up front about it before you pay is pretty shady.
We were taken care of in turn, the physician assistant did a competent job, and we received test results the next day.
**DO NOT BRING YOUR BABY HERE - you may be denied care**I never write reviews, but writing this one in case theres another panicked parent googling a local urgent care like we were. When our 6-month old experienced an allergic reaction to something she ate, our pediatrician recommended we go to urgent care. When we arrived at the clinic, we were denied care by the team because they allegedly do not serve babies. Given this clinic advertises vaccinations for 6-month olds, I was shocked. Please dont waste your time here and go to another clinic (or hospital ER).
Joel and Shanika were very professional. In and out within an hour! Woo!
I had a sinus infection. I was taken care of promptly and professionally.
Jennifer Hunter was absolutely wonderful. I made an appt. because I had a serious problem with my foot. I chose this Urgent Health Care site ( 3902 Wilson Blvd.) because I knew I needed an xray; and that service was listed on your website as being available at that site. I was NOT HAPPY to learn that the xray procedure was not available; and it is almost never available at that site. Please correct the information on your website.
Quickly, qualitatively and professionally. I was satisfied that I turned to this urgent care. Thank you!
Fast, great, and easy service. The staff is awesome!
Easy parking, it was easy to make a same-day appointment, and the staff was great!
The Doctor and Nurse were very professional, kind and knowledgeable, providing very good care for my wound. When I need urgent care again, I will definitely go to the Inova-GoHealth Urgent Care facility.
Im from Texas and was visiting Virginia. I had an issue with my eye. I was very pleased with the care I received
I am always seen quickly and staff are very attentive and kind.
Jennifer Hunter is caring and always takes care of us ❤️ Amazing staff! Thank you!
This my second visiting this urgent care. I will keep coming back as long as they keep providing great service.
Amazing new facility, so quick and easy! The staff was SO nice and friendly. I felt safe and comfortable
Brand new clinic, easy online appointment (hold your spot in line- you may still have a short wait). Super friendly and helpful staff.
Spotless office and exam room. Friendly and caring staff and doctor. highly recommend

Great
I had an 8:30am appt. I was in and out of there with a diagnosis and meds within 25 mins. Receprion, nurse and doctors were very professional and there were no delays.
We went to the facility on September 1, 2024, due to an illness of our son, despite having regular insurance shown regularly to the lady at the reception, she refused to let our son visit us, also refusing without valid reasons to speak by telephone with our insurance assistant. Citing his refusal on the simple fact of being tourists. Arrogant rude rude person to be kind completely unsuitable to fill that role. One star is already a very high rating, from previous comments I read that the substantial problem of the structure is the receptionist due to her total incompetence. I take the liberty of giving the advice to remove her from that position
Everyone, both the employees, nurses, doctors and all the staff treated me very well.
