Was not prompt at all. Was told I was the only one so I’d be next up. After vitals waited over an hour to be seen. I had two small children with me as I am all they have for care. Everyone excluding the physician was great. She (physician) could care less about the care I had today which is unfortunate representation of that location. Will try again once, in her words “get a fever”.
I was pleasantly surprised by how close to home this location is. I also liked that the hours work with my long work schedule so I could come in after work and they were extremely efficient with sending my prescription to the pharmacy. All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable and I did not feel rushed at all when asking questions. Great experience. My only question is whether this is in or out of network for my insurance…
Wonderful to make appointments online. Saw me right when they said they would (only waited an hour). Competent, friendly service from everyone. Very satisfied with my visit and care. I first tried going to Pres Urgent Care and would have waited at least 6 hours. The lobby was literally full. Here there were 3 people.
What a joke. Scheduled an ONSITE visit but was texted an hour before “Good news your appointment has been changed to a virtual visit”. How is this good news? I specifically chose onsite to be seen onsite? Front desk lady was apathetic about it too. Had to wait even longer in a room with a computer with poor audio ~13 minutes to finally see the doctor and play phone tag because he had to wait for the nurse and vice versa. What’s even more ridiculous is the visit isn’t discounted because Nextcare can’t get someone to come in. The patient has to suffer with a full cost”visit” and the lack of care! If i wanted virtual care, I would have selected virtual appointment!!! Then the doctor said that he couldn’t answer much more and to just go to the hospital. I can’t tell enough people to avoid this place! This place does not care about the patient!
My daughter was able to be seen rather quickly and everyone there, from reception to clinical staff, was very kind. The provider we saw understood that I was not the most health literate individual. They took the time to answer my questions in an explanatory manner that never condescended or made me feel uncomfortable about asking.
The nurse was complaining TO ME about the next patient, that was in the lobby that was waiting to be seen, while she was taking my vitals. Complaining about how the patient kept asking for things and asking questions??? healthCARE might not be the field for you. I wont be back here since I cant guarantee the nurses wont talk s*** about me for needing help from a doctor. Despicable. Also every time Ive been here Ive made an appointment and still not been seen til 40+ minutes after the appointment time. Ive also arrived to find out they have no doctor available and itll be a virtual visit held in their office, I would have chosen that option if thats what I wanted. For an unidentified lungs/throat issue that needed to be physically examined - she had me hold up my phone camera to my mouth. I wish I was joking.Great urgent care if you want to feel like youre on another planet, but if you want to feel like a person avoid this place at all costs.
The nurse who took my vitals was very rude and sarcastic when asking for the reason of my visit. She was rude and unprofessional when I told her I was seen by nextcare telehealth prior to coming in and they made the doctor visit for me to come in. She had a sarcastic comment regarding my need to be seen in person. I did not appreciate her bedside manners. I was experiencing a lot of ear pain and could not hear very well. When I asked for her to accommodate my needs by speaking louder she treated me as though it was annoyance to be tending to my needs at all. Turns out I had an inter/outer ear infection that required a in person visit. The nurse rudeness was totally unnecessary and unprofessional. The doctor who took care of me, was very kind and gentle. Understood my pain and was very patient with me. Treated me with respect and kindness. The only reason why I didn’t give a one star review. It’s really sad how one person can really make an impact on an entire business…lucky for her the Doctor was more caring and empathetic.
They were extremely nice & helped me fill out paperwork that made my visit cheaper. The doctor was patient & informative. Told me everything I needed to know & also gave me a card to get discounted prescription.
My visit was quick & easy. I made appointment on line, checked in on line, so it easy. Nurse & Doctor took time to listen to me .
Absolutely not coming here again. The medical assistant is very rude. The physician assistant on duty today could care less about anything. I tested positive three times for Covid at home so I came in because my work requires it and the medical assist swabbed the outside of my nostrils not even inside it. Was told oh the test came back negative…. Well duh because you didn’t even get it wet! I have sent a message to make a formal complaint!
I drove 21 minutes to this location to be told that there was no provider on site and nobody could examine me. I would only be able to talk to somebody on the computer and I asked if anybody would be able to do an exam on my throat because my tonsils were so enlarged and she said you could open your mouth at the computer. Absolutely not worth my $50 copay. The front desk lady was rude and unapologetic
Very quick, didnt take very long to be seen. The check in staff were happy and kind, the nurse taking vitals was also friendly. I really liked Dr. Ryan Davis. He was cheerful, knowledgeable, and helpful. He also know some good information on medications that are safe to take while breastfeeding. Very impressed!
Kind and friendly service. Wait wasnt too long. They prescribed some meds and gave me hope that Ill finally start feeling better.
Long wait due to computer systems being down but once seen, exceptional care by the PA, Eric Pedersen and his team. Although systems were down, my son was still well taken care of. Thank you!
I made my appointment ahead of time. When I walked in there there was only 1 person (walk-in) before me. I still waited 1 hour to finally see the doctor. They don’t do blood work. The doctor did basic strep throat and COVID tests. I could have them done in CVS clinic with less time.
Left us in a room for about a hour. Could hear the nurses and staff giggling and talking outside the room. Had my daughter seen the doctor was insensitive, said nothing was wrong with her went home and had to take her to another emergency room she had a serious tooth infection! Thats insane. To not treat her with such a serious issue. Do not recommend this place, save yourself two trips and go somewhere else
I had already tested positive for Covid the night before. I had woke up at 2:30 in the morning feeling really horrible add a temperature of 102°After sleep being on and off every 15 minutes, I increasingly felt worse. By 8:30 AM, my wife and I decided I better go in. As we live and Rio Rancho, we have found this urgent care to be the best one. We have visited yet and had an appointment at 11 AM! This presented me with getting the Covid medication Paxlovid by 1:30 PM and by 5 PM I could feel the medication start to work and some of my symptoms decrease. So thankful for the staff and for the Doctor Who saw me and my wife three weeks prior for another type of visit. All staff were very nice and thorough. The doctor was excellent and extremely thorough. Very, very nice doctor and highly recommend her to anyone that goes inThank you guys very much.James B
Dr. Rashid is an excellent doctor! Only wish she could be my primary care physician. The office is really nice. I will surely be referring people to you. Thanks!
I asked staff to put my child’s preferred name and they kept calling her by her dead name. Also, one of the staff had a rude tone when telling me I had to pay at the time of service and continued to have a rude tone. I gave 2 stars because the doc was decent.
The staff from the front desk to the triage nurse were wonderful. The wait wasn’t too bad and the nurse offered me water or something to drink while waiting which was sweet. The reason for the poor review is the NP. She performed an extremely short assessment, only listening to my lungs, checked my ears, and glanced at my throat. She then determined I had allergies and that was it. I felt like she didn’t listen to what I was saying at all and didn’t care that my symptoms were changing and not improving.
Horrible. They never followed up with me on my lab results so I was taking antibiotics and destroying my stomach for nothing. Their “app” to view your lab results is glitchy and you can’t log in even after registering an account. The whole thing is so below quality you want when you’re seeking care. There was no wait to be seen, and now I understand why 😅 avoid this place- they’re a mess!
PA Devlin was so rude and had no bedside manner. You could hear the MA\staff at the station making fun of other patients. Not worth the time and money. Just stay away from next care
Had pain in my ear the night before and pain worsened the following day. I never get an ear infection or aches so I decided to go in. The front staff was extremely polite and courteous. Check in nurse was friendly and sweet. Dr was extremely knowledgeable about my TN and was thorough and kind. Everyone was really friendly and that has been the friendliest urgent care I’ve been too. THANK YOU STAFF 😊 I highly recommend
Tnis urgent care makes it easy to get medical attention, even though I’m from out of state. It was easy fast and my needs were taken care of. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Thank you.
Absolutely efficient and affected care. Everyone I received care from were professional and caring, including the receptionist on 12/29/2024. Highly recommend Nextcare Urgent Care Albuquerque
I give less than one star to this place. Do NOT go to this urgent care if you need X-rays or to see a doctor. There is only a PA and NO doctors (md) They don’t pay X-ray techs enough to work there so they can’t do X-rays and will refer you out to the wrong place near Target. You will have to go to Northwest imaging Associates walk in clinic. They will still charge you the full copayment. When you complain about not being told there is no X-ray tech they tell you that you should have called in the morning to make sure there is an X-ray tech or doctor available that day. I don’t know how customers are supposed to know they may be short staffed on a particular day. Also, the manager will tell you that if you are unhappy to not go back. There’s no sign on the door or notification to customers that they have no staff but they’ll take your money. Then, they never called to give me X-ray results and when I called they lied and said they called but got the “wrong number “. When I asked what number they had on file she listed the correct one.
They were great, helped me with my medical needs in a timely manner, also the staff was great they made me feel comfortable and safe .
The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful and treated me very well. Your ads however saying this is urgent care and no appointment is necessary turned out to be false. I had to visit several sites to get treatment and only after I made an appointment. Otherwise everything was very good.
Worth the wait. Accurate diagnosis by PA. Now taking antibiotic. Feel better already. He provided me with important info re cold and infectious effects.
Got me in right away.Co-pay was more than should of.Nurse was helpful but very rude.Doctor didnt offer solution to my medical situation.
I had fallen at dance class landing on my left hand; injuring my left wrist. Painful and swollen. I was referred to get an X-ray to rule out a broken bone in my wrist. Excellent care!
As a walk-in patient, it was very fast and thorough. The doctor was complete in his explanations and patient with my questions. Good visit.
I can only say thank you and I appreciate your facilities so much from the staff in the front to triage to the Care from the physician was the most extreme quality care above and beyond that I could’ve asked for thank you all for all you do there
Worse place ever! They were running over 45 minutes behind and I complained about it and the front desk girl got mouthy with me (I mean real mouthy and yelled at me)and then complained to the dr who came and told me not to complain. I will NEVER GO THERE AGAIN!
Doctor failed to call in prescription..i continuously called and they dont answer their phones. Had to drive over there for them to tell me he didnt order it. That they will call me when they get a message from the doctor. They totally disregarded me. I would go somewhere else.
Unfortunately compared to the last time, this was the rudest provider Ive EVER dealt with. Wanted to be hostile in response to every question and didnt even listen to what I said, preferring his own self-serving narrative and calling every doctor Ive seen (including at the same location) wrong. He probably shouldnt be in medicine. Will not be back and dont recommend
The service was fine, but very slow. Also, the wait was nearly and hour past my scheduled sppointment. That I assume is to be expected.
Easy to make appointment. Got seen very promptly. Staff was very kind and attentive. Very clean facilities. Would go again in need.
If I could leave half a star just for the Dr that saw me I would. He was very rude. He didnt seem very concerned about my issues and when I expressed a concern with something I could not physically do He put me down. Stating that it sounded more like I need a psychiatrist than anything else.
The receptionist was fast and kind. The doctor was very professional and patient. Very good facility
Staff was great. Triage nurse was very efficient.Scott Wilging was thorough.
Was seen within minutes of arriving. Staff was very courteous and caring.
The PA who saw me totally ignored my history of sinus infections and said I had a virus because she didnt see any post nasal drip even after I told her I was swallowing mucus every few minutes. After that, I waited almost 30 minutes to get a Covid test. Because no one ever showed up, I left.
I had a very good experience from making the appointment within an hour to walking out the door!
We were in the room for two hours waiting for the doctor then my daughter went and asked if they were going to attend us and the doctor said I don’t know. Meanwhile she was just sitting and not doing anything.
Even though the waiting area is empty and it appears they see no more than 1 patient per hour. I was seen 50 minutes past my scheduled appointment.
Worst place ever!!! We make an appointment just to bring in my 89 year old grandmother in and have the front desk staff, who was incredibly rude, tell us that they don’t actually have a doctor to see patients so they have to find someone to do a phone call visit . Also the appointment would be pushed back at least an hour because they will definitely book you an appointment but they don’t actually have the capability to see you !! How terrible !! Never going there again !
Everyone from the person up front to the provider were extremely polite, kind and just professional.
I had been sick for three days and needed to be seen right away. I chose NextCare based on google reviews and am so glad I did. I was able to make an appointment online in minutes. When I arrived, the clinic was super clean and I was checked in right away. My appointment with DNP Rashid went great. She took time to really listen to my concerns, explained my diagnosis and I was on my way. I was feeling better the next day thanks to her and I’m grateful.
Physician came in the room wearing gloves and didn’t wash or change out her gloves to examine me. Pretty sure she misdiagnosed me too. I’ll be going to another urgent care. MA wasn’t that nice as well.
They were efficient, timely, and courteous. It wasnt very busy, but the experience I had with them was positive.
Everyone was very helpful, thorough, kind, and professional. The office is super clean but also welcoming. The doctor took time to explain and was excellent. Will definitely go back when I have a health concern. Thank you!
I had an appointment and atill waited over a hour. Then the do tor finally came in and just told me to go to the emergency it was a total waste of my tme!
The facility is very nice, and the staff was very kind. However, they were extremely short-staffed (only one Receptionist, one Nurse/Tech, one Nurse Practitioner), which caused 2 hour wait times. There was not an X-ray Tech available at any of the locations except one, but I was told that the X-ray Machine at the location with an X-ray tech was broken. I was directed to go to another facility to get an X-ray later. Finally, my prescription was sent to the wrong pharmacy location that I asked them to send it to.
I recently visited this Nextcare for a flare-up of Diverticulitis. During my visit, the Physician Assistant (PA) attending to me insisted that antibiotics were not part of the treatment protocol for my condition. I tried to leave since she wouldn’t prescribe them and she told me I COULDN’T leave until I was examined. I told her there was no reason to be examined if she wasn’t willing to give me antibiotics. This was my fifth flare up in ten years so I know by now what works. Eventually, I was given a prescription.I was still in pain the next day and went to the ER. I was informed that antibiotics is the protocol for treating DT and the antibiotics prescribed were not appropriate for my condition. This experience has raised serious concerns about the quality of care by the PA at this facility. It is crucial for medical professionals to provide accurate and effective treatments, especially in urgent situations. I hope that this review encourages the PA to reassess DT protocols and ensure that PA’s actually listen to the patient instead of arguing with them. I will never go back to this urgent care as long as she is there.
Very quick service, no wait. Visit was great, doctor came in explained everything and I was out within no time. Enjoyed my visit even though I wasn’t feeling well. I felt very cared for and would definitely recommend this clinic.
The PA I saw Daniel had no bedside manner whatsoever. He talked over me and very fast, didnt listen to my concerns and offered me no help. He seen me for about 2-3 minutes. I would not recommend this place, they used to have wonderful caring providers but not anymore. They still have their Christmas tree up if that shows you their laziness and lack of care.
I went in for severe lower back pain. Based on my symptoms, the provider determined there was something wrong with my musculoskeletal system. Unfortunately, they dont have an X-ray machine so they werent able to confirm that, and Ill have to wait until Monday to go to another clinic. That part is somewhat frustrating, as waiting for the next step always is. However, the clinic was very clean and looked nice. The staff was professional. And there was little wait compared to what youd expect from urgent care.
My daughter had to be seen and we are so thankful for Dr Spohn! He is amazing! Dr. Spohn took his time to ask questions and identify the problem. He is a great listener as well. Other doctors will make you feel unimportant and rush you out. He is outstanding! The staff was very friendly and professional as well! Definitely recommend this provider and this location!
Dont go here unless you want to waist your time. My son needed two stitches, and they sent us to the ER after seeing him. I requested a refund since they did absolutely nothing for him but they refused since the doctor took one look at him and said nope I aint touching that. When I got to the ER the staff there says that nextcare is infamous for doing this and apologized. My sons situation should have been handled in urgent care as the ER physician stated.
The dr was very nice and explained everything to me clearly. Nurses were there running the swabs and shots, also very nice and professional. The only bad thing was the wait, even with an appointment it took an hour to be seen. Better than the ER I believe and with a 6 min wait list to see my PCM this is kinda the only option if I want to be seen same day.Thank you!
The gals up at the front we so friendly. I have come here several times for different issues and have always been treated great! The DR who saw me was also great and informative. Coming here is easier then trying to get into your primary. Online scheduling barely any wait time.
Wow Great job. Everything happens very quickly. There is no need to sit and wait for your turn. The doctor came immediately, prescribed medications, and within 5 minutes all the pills were in the pharmacy. Just bravo! I am delighted! Thanks for the great service.
We had an appt for a sports physical at 5:45PM and we left at 7PM. The front desk and the vitals nurse were friendly and professional. The physicians assistant, Lynn Devlin was otherwise. Not friendly nor professional. At her age she should have learned some bedside manners by now. We won’t be back.
I would suggest any other place than this location to get help. I went last week with a hurt ankle and throbbing pain to where I wanted to throw up, The doctor provided nothing other than ordering x-rays and gave me a boot. A week later Im still in severe pain. Made another appointment just to be left to wait 45 minutes plus. I left with never being seen and still no resolution. I will find a office that cares about their patients and wants to provide them relief.
I was in pain and I was there for a while, doctor didnt help the situation at all, he told me to take ibuprofen, I told him I have been taking it and he said my leg wasnt swollen enough for any medication. Still in pain and didnt help at all. He also said he was going refer me to an orthopedic and how long do they take. Yet he is still getting paid for me being there for 5 minutes and no relief
In and out within the hour. Quick and easy. The Solv app was not.
Things went pretty quick when I finally got back there but being that there was only one other person in front of me I still waited in the lobby for over an hour
Came in for a laceration on my index finger. Dr. Andrew put skin glue on the wound (I could’ve done that) which peeled off and reopened in less than 12 hours. For a $200 charge, that’s insane. I looked online, medical or OOTC skin glue should NOT be used on the hand or on joints (where my cut is) and instead sutured!! Do not go here for any laceration, their remedy does not match their cost.
I am visiting Albuquerque, NM and had a terrible case of gout on the middle toes of my left foot. I visited Next Care Urgent Care and was greeted by a very positive, warm and friendly receptionist. After completing the appropriate paperwork and a short wait I was evaluated by the triage person who was very thorough, professional and extremely helpful. Immediately afterwards, I saw the medical professional who confirmed the diagnosis of gout and through discussion arrived at the best treatment medication for resolution of the problem. The medical professional then forwarded the prescription to a local pharmacy. My experience at Next Care Urgent Care, 8201 Golf Course Rd, NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120 was the best experience ever at a medical facility.
Everyone was super nice and welcoming the Dr was wonderful !
The office was clean. Staff was great unfortunately I wasted an hour and a half my entire lunch hour to get an EKG and I already had an order for and I never saw a provider so I had to leave without getting Care after being there for almost an hour and a half, And there was one other patient in there while I was there. Everything was great except I didn’t get the services I came there for.
The provider I saw was amazing! He was very friendly and explained everything very simply so I understood exactly what was going on. I wish I could remember his name but he was awesome. All of the staff were very friendly.
The next care on golf course road is so great. I think it has a lot to do with the clinic lead (I didn’t get her name), but this particular location is run so well and has a great atmosphere. They move patients through quickly and were so friendly.
Very rude receptionist who insisted on calling me the wrong name, turned us away because they didn’t accept my insurance despite the fact that all my insurance information was provided when I scheduled.
I am so greatful for the care my child recived here at this lication. My child was seen within 15 minutes of us stepping thru the door. The young lady at the front desk was caring and friendly. Dr. Allen was sooo fast but made sure I and my child understood what was going on and why. We got here at 7pm left at 8pm. 100% Recomend..
Took my twins in both for different symptoms, the nurse who called us back to get weight, temp and blood pressure only did so with one of my kids. After telling him we were there for two appts. He asked my son’s symptoms and diagnosed him with out taking any tests on him. Roomed us, ended up waiting almost an hour to be seen even though we had appts scheduled. The practitioner’s reason was being sick himself. I thought my son had something viral due to his symptoms but he was diagnosed as having only pink eye. The next day comes around and my son is crying of an earache and is still having the same symptoms. Now I have to take more time off work to take him to be seen elsewhere. Very poor care was taken.
Worst business model ever! We did a virtual visit first, which gave an option for medical issues, chose inner ear issue, virtual visit doctor called said there is nothing they can do for that on a virtual visit ($70 for the virtual visit by the way). So they scheduled us for an in person visit for 1045am the next day, went, checked in, and they said it’s just a spot reserved so it will be another 45 min till initial exam, then another 1.5hrs to see the physician and $250 for the visit. Outrageous!!! Don’t use them, just go to Presbyterian Urgent Care.. less expensive and faster/ better service.
The physician was very helpful and friendly. I appreciate his help.
I love this Urgent Care. Ive been there several times and Ive never had to wait hours and hours which is what typically happens anywhere else. My treatment and care was great and I will definitely go back when I need their care.
My husband wasnt feeling well and his primary couldnt get him in for a few days. I was able to schedule an appointment for him for same day visit. He was tested for COVID and flu and he was positive for flu. They gave him a breathing treatment to help with his breathing, Dr. thoroughly checked him over and re-checked him to make sure he was ok before letting him go home. They sent in his prescriptions right away and we were able to pick up soon as we left his appointment. Staff was very nice.
Great staff, doctor listened to multiple concerns and was not dismissive AT ALL!
The staff were all fantastic, I genuinely appreciate the care and attention they gave me. The wait time was also very reasonable.
Sadly, I have to share my terrible experience at this clinic in early Nov for a shoulder injury. I was seen for 5 mins (and prescribed anti-inflammatories that did nothing) then received a bill for $300 45-min consult. I paid it, but my insurance alerted me that they had paid $160, so the clinic billed me in error―they fully admitted to it. I have been calling 4 times now (waiting the usual 30+ mins each time), and each time I am told a different lie: were refunding you on the card you used, were wiring you the money, weve sent you a check. Its been almost 4mo now, and I am still fighting them to get my money back. Oh and by the way, my shoulder is still injured.Update: Their response predictably put the onus on me to reach out again and fight to get my money back, when they have my number and email and are at fault. Nevertheless, I emailed them to the new contact on that same day―and never heard back.
Normally I have a pretty decent experience. The staff has always been nice. I normally don’t write reviews, but after this experience I was so frustrated. It’s a bit annoying when you fill out an account online provide all your medical information. Then I had to go into the office and provide pretty much the same medical information online, except my medical card was different. It did not update. Then I was asked to provide my medical card again because the front desk didn’t put in the medical card info correctly to find him in the system. By then the appointment is running a bit behind. I don’t know if there was just one doctor there, but I finally had to step out of the office to ask when we were up because I was going to leave. The office was not very busy. My son and I were there for over two hours just for the doctor to look at my sons foot for a few minutes and tell him that we had to go somewhere else for an x-ray. There was no x-ray tech on hand and if that’s the case, maybe inform patients that if they’re looking for a possible x-ray that they should go to another urgent care. So now I have to go somewhere else to go get an x-ray Even though I paid the co-pay. Very frustrating as I need to take more time off of work.
This place is a joke. I scheduled an appointment online for the evening, but was feeling horrible so opted to go in sooner as a walk-in. When I got there their sytem was down so they said they couldnt check anyone in. I went back home. I called before my appt to see if their system was back up and they said it was. I went about 15 minutes before my appointment and after I checked in I got a text saying it had been changed to a virtual visit. The woman at the front said they didnt have a provider physically there. I wish I had read the reviews because clearly this is an ongoing issue. I could have done a virtual appointment from home. I am feeling so horrible and am incredibly frustrated that this information wasnt disclosed when scheduling. I will never go back here and I will advise everyone I know not to either.
Went in to get treated and I got treat by Diana Kaufman. She is a horrible miserable human. I’m not sure what her problem is but she is not a people person. Maybe she is racist I’m not sure. She should not be a doctor if she doesn’t know how to treat people with respect and talk to people like we are all human. She treated me like I was worthless trash! I never recommend ever trying to be seen by her!
Quick fast easy in and out for a cat scratch. Everyone was wonderful!
Saw provider for a cough that has been going on for about 3 months. The cough is due to allergies, but he said theres nothing he could do about it and didnt give me any treatment. Was there for less than 5 minutes, waste of my time, my co-payment and the money he got paid by my insurance provider.
I was able to get an appointment for the same day and I received an exam to diagnose my problem. Everyone was professional and courteous. I received a diagnosis and prescriptions were sent to my pharmacy. If I hadn’t received treatment, I might have developed pneumonia, instead I am recovering and able to assume my activities. Thank you.
Excellent, I made a appointment on line and filled out the paperwork through the app. No waiting! Everyone did their job well and received great attention. Thank you NextCare
One of the most frustrating doctors visit, if u have other options like Presbyterian go there. This place will give u unnecessary grief
They need to remove the words “Urgent” and “Care” from their logo and signs. I didn’t see an ounce of either. My son needed stitches. We waited for far too long while others were seen. Unacceptable.I would give zero stars if that was possible.Note: Don’t forget to make an appointment for your URGENT medical issue.
Bad business to charge a copay even though you have no physicians available. I wasn’t notified it was going to be a virtual visit until I walked into the facility. I checked in and submitted my paperwork online and it took the lady 15 min to check me in. The website needs to be fixed and advise it’s virtual so we can make informed decisions. Or at least not charge a copay… still waiting, it’s been over 25 min to be seen with an appointment!
Went in with sinus issues, fever, chills, sore throat, fluid in ears and headache and was treated for UTI and was put on antibiotics that I was told would help with sinuses but was still labeled as seasonal allergies. There was an issue with CVS not understanding nasal medicine so I called several times about that and finally I got a call back. My sinuses got much worse so I called Nextcare several times to see if Dr can call in an antibiotic for sinus infection but no call back and when I asked about antibiotics I was told I need to schedule another appointment. I was the first one in Sunday am and I was still there for an hour and half and when Dr finally came in I explained she ignored my sinus infection and treated me for a UTI I was already in antibiotics for for a prior Lovelace urgent care visit and because of this I have been suffering all week. I have chronic sinusitis and I do not go into urgent care for “seasonal allergies” so I was upset it took two visits for dr to get it right and now I have an ear infection and still miserable until correct antibiotics kick in
Good care... But even though i had an appointment, i was not seen for a full 2 hrs
I’ve been having trouble breathing. They told me nothing was wrong when I can physically hear wheezing and whistling. When he checked my lungs he went over my very thick and sturdy jacket to see how they sounded. The lady also took my blood pressure with the same jacket on.
Always have a good experience here. Everyone is very pleasant & understanding.
Awful!! Staff from the minute we got the back treated us rudely. Im a Steff member for the dd waiver and Im disappointed how my client was treated. They couldnt understand that she wanted me there with her.
Very efficient provider. Good service!
I went in close to opening and was seen by a P.A. within 20-minutes or less, however, this being in part to the fact that the waiting room was empty of course.Great service.Thank you.
Intake was thorough and professional, FNP Smita was exceptionally personable and listen edto all my concerns and gave sound medical explanations to them. My only disappointment was how much time it took before I was seen by the FNP; 45 minutes after my appt time. Perhaps some expectation management would have helped.
My daughter had a fever for 2 days ranging from 101-103. Her eyes burn and hurt randomly. Has the chills. Headache. Runny nose. FEVER. Doesn’t have much of an appetite. Body anches. And the dr said she has allergies! He also said he has a disagreement with other drs because he doesn’t feel you should take ibuprofen or Tylenol unless you have a 103 fever. Nothing less. Complete waste of time in my opinion. I don’t ever remember allergy symptoms not high fever chills and body aches. Would not recommend.
Tried to make an appt at 7pm amd website states no times are available but good news. Walkins r being accepted. Tried to call and verify but no one answers. We drive all the way to the location and the receptionist says no one is being accepted because there are 4 in the back already. Checked online again and it states the same message. Very unreliable amd disappointing system.
This place is efficient and thorough. My Urgent care of choice for sure.
The weight was a little long, but understandable, because of the time of year and all the sickness. I do want to say that the staff and Jaime the nurse practitioner were amazing! They all have one of the best bedside manners that I have dealt with in the medical profession in many years!! Again, they were all friendly, courteous and apologized for the wait . I will definitely recommend this location!
Poor service! Had scheduled appointment, when I arrived person at front desk said that they had No provider for me! This person said she called me but never left a message telling me that they had no providers that day or next day. Rescheduled for Saturday, but I went to a Lovelace Urgent Care instead! I’ve been trying to cancel my appointment with NextCare for days now. Their customer number sucks! I’ve been put on hold for multiple times for very long times. Life is to short to wait for this company and their employees! Maybe this company will get urgent care from someone! Hopefully better than I got. Good bye!
Was very quick and easy. I set up an account online and registered for an appointment, registered my son online with his INS info and mine, in less than ten minutes. The clinic staff were professional and courteous. Dr we saw was super nice, informative and thorough with my son. I was super surprised how quick and efficient things ran today. Good Job! Highly recommend to anyone who needs an urgent care facility.
This urgent care has been extremely efficient both times I’ve had to come. The physician assistants I see are able to explain my lab results, cause of my condition, and ways to prevent and treat the condition. The staff are always kind and I appreciate the use of logging and checking in online that allows me to know where I’m at in line. In comparison to their competitors I would like to say that this urgent care gives me hope that the community CAN have access to care in a timely manner, with professional staff who truly care.
I had a very great experience with NextCare at the Paseo and Golf Course location everyone was so helpful.
Well a few times I have had to visit NextCare urgent Care, had seemed to go smoothly. But today it took over 2 hours and I had an appointment to be seen. So I was not happy about the wait time at all. But still overall I would recommend next Care urgent Care.
This was the nicest, most organized urgent care facility I have ever been to. It was evident that they have put a lot of thought and planning into their processes: check in, getting vitals, seeing the doctor, and check out. I visited on a Saturday and was expecting to spend a long time there, but I was in and out very quickly. The gentleman checking me in was very friendly and helpful. The facility was very clean and the lobby was beautiful and welcoming. The location is great. I will return to this location and recommend it to anyone needing care.
A scheduled appointment takes longer than a walk in. And I felt rushed during the appointment. So, if they’re behind you’ll be rushed. And checking out you have to wait a while again to get discharge paperwork. If you’re sick, they won’t do anything. Better off staying home and getting over the counter meds. Their computer was running slow and made us check in way later even though we arrived early. Always come here but today wasn’t satisfied.
Excellent care from Eric Peterson and his medical assistant, Cat. Misty made the check in process quick and easy. Great experience
I have come here multiple times spanning several years every time I have a flu serious enough to warrant an urgent care visit, and throughout the years and I’m sure many employee shifts, they have never disappointed. Went today, and it took them maybe 30 min. to have me seen and out the door. The PA (physician’s assistant) I saw, Cindi, was wonderful, humorous and jubilant. I believe I’ve seen her there before, she is memorable. Very kind, thoughtful, took an interest in me as a person. I enjoyed having her as my physician. The other staff were fine as well, and I’ve never had any problems. So thankful for the quick service, when I live quite a busy life. Thank you Cindi and the Next Care Urgent Care team!I don’t even live on the west side anymore, but you are my go-to Urgent Care and well-worth the drive. I should also mention that every diagnosis I’ve received has been correct and the medication given has treated them well.
Came here for the 1st time and the staff @ check in was awesome. Very nice and helpful. Very easy check in and I waited for about half hour. When I was called back the they were training a new person but It was fast and they were both very nice also. The building was clean and I liked that there was sanitary gel available for my use. Once I got a room it took about 5 min for me to be seen. Dr. Came in and evaluated me and that took about 5-10 minutes too and I was out. It was a fast and great visit..just like I like it. I would recommend going here for any Urgent care services. I will also come back if I need services also. Oh and by the time I left and went to the pharmacy after...my prescription was ready and filled..Thank you guys for great service.
Been here 2 times. Never really a long wait. Did have an issue with the website saying they dont take online reservations, but when I walked in two where ahead of me. Good freidnly staff.
This was the FASTEST urgent care I have ever been to! I made an appointment online the day before and was even able to do my paperwork ahead of time. When I showed up, I was promptly greeted, taken back, and seen. I was in an out in less than half an hour! Absolutely amazing service.
Unfortunately this urgent care was super busy, and even with an appointment it took 2 1/2 hours before we saw the provider. This is our 4th visit here, and today was the first time I felt that the provider didn’t really care about our situation. Overall, I recommend this urgent care. Our past visits have been more pleasant than today. The support staff has been consistently friendly and helpful.
I made an appointment online and drove to the clinic to be told my appointment had been changed to a televisit. If I wanted a televisit I would’ve scheduled one and stayed home. How can you determine if I have pneumonia through a televisit? The link the front desk sent me wouldn’t load and the rude girl behind the counter says “what did you mean it won’t load?!” Well I don’t have any internet service in here genius what do you think I mean it won’t load? Morons
This was my first time and I was so pleased with the service. Scott was attentive and I felt very comfortable with his diagnosis. There was very little wait time! Highly recommend this clinic!
Went to Urgent Care on Wednesday - with a severe sore throat - was told only a virus that will work its way out - now 3 days later - & now it’s my B/D - & I’m all but voiceless now - & every one says I sound creepy - & I do - & my daughter said this is my new old persons voice - & that in time I’ll get used to it - but I don’t want to! Still feel horrible - maybe some day I’ll come back to life - but so far - NO!!HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME! 🤧🎂 —
Your staff is amazing. They deserve recognition for their professionalism and compassion. I was miserable and despite a full waiting room they cared about ME! And I bet the other patients felt the same. Cindi, the doctor is a wonderful combination of calm, knowledge and efficiency. Thank you for hiring great people.
This is the 3rd time Ive tried to schedule an appointment for myself or my children only to be told that theres no provider in office (only virtual visits) and what we need to be seen for needs an in person visit. Whats the point of even accepting appointments? I used to like this urgent care but this last year, there never seems to be any providers in office.
The staff--from the front desk, to the nurses and doctors--is always very friendly, personable, and makes you feel at ease. I took my whole family in to get Covid tested together, the staff was so helpful in making the kids stay calm and giving them ideas for Halloween, since they will most likely be quarantined now. The doctor answered all my questions and concerns. I always have a great experience coming here.
Excellent care, great, attentive and professional support and medical staff. The registration online is the best in town.Reanna, please contact me for a billing issue that no one is responding to.
Friendly, helpful, staff, I was seen quickly and the doctor was also friendly and professional.
Cost me 100 dollars for physical my blood pressure they say it was 145 over 80 im sure they rounded up should be 140 over 85 they felled me so I can come back in 3 months instead of a year so they can continue to make money off of me. Ripoff. Never even gave me a complete physical I will never go back
Great Drs! Did not have to wait that long....less than one hour total, for the wait and visit to the Dr! Everyone there IS AWESOME! They take Medicare!!!! THANK YOU!!!
Was very easy and pleasant to be seen. The wait wasnt long at all. Everyone there was nice and polite. Was not crowded with people!
My wife took my daughter to be seen today the 31st at Next Care on Golfcourse and Peseo Del Norte. My daughters very sick and when my wife made an appointment they didnt tell her that it was going to be a virtual visit or she would have went elsewhere because we dont like virtual visits because the Dr. Cant see my daughter in person so its not the same. During the visit my wife was talking to the doctor and the virtual visit just stopped due to bad reception. My wife tried to reconnect but wasnt able to, my wife then spoke to the lady at the front and the lady at the front desk said that the Dr said she was finished but she wasnt, my wife wasnt finishing asking the Dr questions. The doctor didnt prescribe my daughter any antibiotics and my daughter has been really sick so I hope nothing happens to my daughter. The other thing is, I would like my money back or another visit because again we werent finished and thats not fair that is a rip off because my daughter didnt get the profession medical attention she deserves. Maybe my daughter doesnt need antibiotics but again she is very sick for 3 days now. Can someone please contact us. The Dr was Linda Stover that saw my daughter.
Waited 10-15 minutes to be seen, then waited 15-20 minutes in the exam room . Then waited again about 10 minutes for the PA. ...Seemed like a lot of waiting even though there were no other patients.Other than that , the visit was EXCELLENT!The staff were all very nice and informative!!Im SO grateful they were there!!They took excellent care of me!!Very convenient location.
Received a call hours after my appointment. Was told my 1 of 2 of my test sample was lost was asked if I could make it in back that day to do a retake. It didnt fit in my schedule as I had to be back at work.. was told theyd cancel my order and Id be charged again when i was able to go. I confirmed that I was charged for the appointment where thier staff lost my sample and that Id be charged to retest. Would not recommend
This is an amazing care facility if you are lucky to meet a nice doctor who listens to his/her patients. I’ve loved all the doctors I’ve been privileged to meet over the year except PA-C Cindi Uhing. She has no idea what she is doing. She only listens to herself/the voices in her head and just wants you out as soon as possible. She lacks the confidence to treat, relate with and has no concern for patients like I’ve observed/experienced in other doctors. She also didn’t give clear verbal instructions. It was a total waste of my time and money. Spoke with someone from their headquarter about the situation and he was really awesome! He actually listened to me. I felt like somebody finally listened. That really made me feel better. All the same, thanks for all that you do NextCare! Also, thanks for a very clean environment, professional and nice staff.
I went and had an appointment and had to wait 2 hours past my appointment and then told it would be another hour before I would be seen. I left undiagnosed and in pain. Really disappointed because they been so good in past.I went back because everyone deserves a second chance. Had appointment earlier in day and everything went great. Im retracting my previous statement. Guess it was just a bad day. I am recommending them!
DECEPTIVE BUSINESS! I drove 20 minutes in 101 degree heat only to find that this facility had NO providers on site. In making the on-line appointment, this was not disclosed. I was told that they would connect me via tele-health. (I could have done this in the comfort of my own home.) I guess their name describes their business model: maybe NEXT visit, you will receive care.
I have never been seen so quickly with such ease and convenience. My whole experience from the moment I was greeted to the time my discharge papers were printed was about 30 minutes. Granted, I had an idea of what was going on which Im sure made it easier for staff to determine their next step towards my treatment but it was quite the experience.Kind, friendly and acknowledging staff that were so helpful.
I appreciate NEXTCARE, it would, or will be this afternoon, or tomorrow, or day after by the time I hear from my Pulmologist. The systems at the doctors offices need updating to care for patients.
I was so pleasantly surprised with my first visit there. It has been more than 20 years since I ve been to any other urgent care besides a Presbyterian Urgent Care. The staff was professional and courteous. The Physicians Assistant, Ryan Davis was thorough, knowledgeable, patient and had a wonderful bedside manner that I really appreciated.
Best urgent care ever!!! Usually going to urgent care is a total drag so I decided to try this one out and it was a totally different experience from your average urgent care visit. The staff was super quick and friendly. I had made an appointment for 1:00 online, got there 10 minutes early and was out by 1:15 which was awesome. Clean, calm atmosphere. I was seen by Dr. Ryan Davis who was absolutely wonderful and got my sinus infection taken care of. A couple days later they even called to see how I was doing. Super grateful.
Yes, I would recommend Nextcare. There wait time was only about 25 minutes, as a walk in with no appointment, and 3 people ahead of me. Receptionist was very friendly, very soft spoken ( I am hard of hearing). The med tech was great, and very thorough, active listening, and asked questions. The provider was pretty awesome, I didnt feel like I was being rushed, she took her time and examined me, more than the westside hospital did when I was taken to their emergency room.
I the morning, I scheduled a late afternoon appointment. I showed up to my appointment early. After an hour of waiting in the lobby and watching 4 people get called back, I asked the front desk what the wait time was and they said they didnt know because there were walk-ins who were in front of me waiting to be seen. I told them I had an appointment for 2PM (it was now 3PM) and that I had already been waiting an hour. They said the walk-ins had been waiting longer than I had and it might be another hour before I was called back. I couldnt be seen because I had to go back to work.I understand they were running behind, but it is unprofessional and inconsiderate to schedule an appointment for someone, have them take off time from work to show up early to the office, just to fill their scheduled appointment with another other person who walked in without scheduling. They should just have a first come first served policy and not waste peoples time.
Even with an appt had to wait about 20-25. Saw PA right away, got the x-rays I needed and results in good time. Total time was a little over an hour. I will go there again because it is close, staff is friendly and helpful.
As far as urgent care goes this one was pretty good. We were able to check in online instead of wait there for ours and we were seen within an hour of our check in time. It was New Year’s Eve so pretty busy but we got seen in what I thought was a pretty quick time. I definitely would not go without checking in online first though or calling ahead. I couldn’t give it five stars cause the nurse that first did our check in really struggled with getting vitals on our daughter and so we had to go through all that a second time (weight, pulse, oxygen) but otherwise it was a good experience.
Definitely a five star!! Excellent care and concerns about what is going on with me. Staff is very courteous!! My Doctor was amazing despite how miserable I was they were so caring so considerate and so helpful and very knowledgeable. Thank you for all the care that you give to each and every one of us that go in there.
We were initially disappointed by the wait time but it went by pretty fast and the staff was very nice and professional. Cindy, the NP was fabulous! My son hurt his arm and she was able to get X-rays, diagnose a broken bone, put a temporary cast on it and have us on our way in 90 minutes. Great experience!
Great experience! Very friendly and efficient staff.
It went rather well, everyone was friendly and efficient
Second time coming this next care staff was great and provider Dr.Rashid was awesome the best urgent care I’ve been to in while will be back I was pleased thank you !
Love the online check in! Everyone was so super nice and friendly! So much easier than any Dr appointment ever!!After I posted this I went down the line to read some other reviews. Cindy my PA was great! She listened, prescribed, explained the medication to me as I questioned it, and overall was very friendly and professional! No complaints over here!
Very attentive, very helpful, offered insights into one of my issues that I didn’t get with a 4 day stay in the ICU.
Took my 7 year old today. Appointment was super easy to schedule. Facility was not busy, hardly any wait. Staff was fantastic, thorough, and worked very well with my son who was terrified of the swabs. Overall we are very pleased.
Each time I have had to visit NextCare Urgent care I’ve been treated with the upmost respect and care and in a timely manner. The staff is so efficient and attentive to my every need I was able to get along with my day in no time at all. Did I mention how clean the facility is kept?! Makes it’s so welcoming and a no brainer to choose NextCare for all my urgent care needs! Thank you NextCare!
I have never had a bad experience here. Anytime I need an urgent care I come here. Always fast, friendly and professional. I love the online check in and easy access to make an appointment.
Ladies at the front desk are really nice, but they asked me to fill in this form online, as well as a written form (COVID questions). So, the online form asked me to enter my insurance information and to upload a pic... uh, the girl at the front desk had my insurance cards. So, I asked why I was doing this if theyre already doing it; she couldnt really provide an answer. But, that I should answer no on the insurance question. OK... Now wondering what can I expect from billing? So, I was called back (hardly a wait) and I continued filling in the online form. Im asked if I wanted a flu & strep test; I accepted the strep test. 15 min. wait... OK. Im waiting in the room and the online form tells me theres 9 people in front of me! Hey, Im already in the room! So, the nurse practitioner came in and I explained what was going on. As we talked, it seemed she really didnt know what she was talking about; that there couldve been some blood you coughed up and it just came out after sitting in the back! Say what? Suddenly chunks of blood sitting in the back are coming up after Ive been coughing for 4 days? I told her Id been flushing my sinuses since the beginning of COVID and nothing has been coming out; her response, Weird! I dont know. Really? This is the second time Ive been there and the nurse practitioners dont seem to know what theyre doing. I think Ill find another place should I ever have to go to Urgent Care again.
NextCare is always a quick visit, have never waited more than 20 min to be seen. Front desk, triage and Dr Scott were all great during my visit today.
Employees were professional, empathetic, personable, and most impressively- they were very efficient in their tasks and expectations throughout the entire visit. From the receptionists, to the nurses, to the doctor, every single employee made remarkable effort and made sure my experience was positive and notable.I had gone to a different NextCare location about a year ago, and the difference was night and day. That visit was as bad as this visit was great. Perhaps it was the location, or perhaps the company has worked out some of the issues they were facing in the recent past. Id like to believe that all of the locations work well these days, however, I applaud the employees at this particular location for all of there great professionalism and wonderful manner.I highly recommend people go to this location, whether it is out of your way or not. I especially recommend checking out this location if you had a poor experience at another location in the past.
I honestly had no problem with the ladies on the front or the nurse who saw me before the doctor. I was in and out which was really nice and everyone was friendly. Im giving it 1 star because I overheard two doctors by my door talking about how quickly they were getting people in and out then the other clinics. And how they wanted to get done to get home cause its Labor Day. My visit was maybe a minute and he barely checked me and had this long diagnosis. i was a fan until that. Sorry but Im never going back there.Congrats on the dream team as you called yourselves.
This facility is great! Staff is friendly and great to work with. I have been there 4 or 5 times over the last few years and they have always been helpful! I am seen right on time and the providers are knowledgeable and compassionate. Highly recommend
Staff was friendly, efficient and caring. Open to questions and helpful. Waited under 5 minutes to be taken to the back office and once the nurse finished with vitals etc it was only another 5 minutes before nurse practitioner came it. Then out in 10. Under 30 minutes total. That’s awesome.
I made an appointment online and was able to make my appointment at the time that worked for me. I got there 15 minutes early and was able to fill out the paperwork within a few minutes. I got to see the doctor by my requested appointment time. Ryan Davis PAC, was very helpful and listened closely to my issue. My total time at urgent care was about an hour from start to finish.
This walk in clinic was a pleasant surprise. We are new to New Mexico and hadnt established a doctor relationship yet.The clinic was clean and professional. The staff from the time I walked in until I left was surprisingly very personable and accommodating.Recommend this clinic to those who cant wait for a doctors appointment. You wont be disappointed.
I initially went to NextCare Urgent Care located at Golf Course & Paseo because it was close to my house, took my insurance and I just wasn’t feeling well enough to drive myself to the urgent care at my providers office. Now this is the ONLY Urgent Care I will take myself, my family and recommend to others to. The office is clean, staff is friendly, wait time is short (this really matters when you don’t feel good and just want to go home) and the providers are excellent! We normally have the pleasure of seeing Ryan Davis PA-C, he is always spot on with his diagnoses even when I have initially questioned where he came up with the diagnosis 😬 👍🏽👍🏽Pro tip 😉 - Take advantage of booking your appointment online and skip waiting in misery by walking in! I believe there is a cut off time for booking appointments, so I always book in the morning or early afternoon when possible.
Im complaining because the rude women they have working up front. As far as the Dr & nurses who see you and take care of you theyre great. The 2 bigger native women working the desk are rude, judgmental, and snobby. I had to be seen this last weekend and the girl was so rude. She even got upset Because I was being gruff back with her attitude and marked me down as a women then scratched it out and had to initial. You need better receptionists if you want better service here.
Place is nice, quiet, and clean. Staff was nice and explained things thoroughly. Wait was a little long. Had a 0900 appt and was first in on a Saturday. Got there 15 mins early and still didn’t see a provider until almost 0930. Otherwise nice place and conveniently located close to my house.
The online presence and scheduling are amazing, but the people there seem burnt out. 15 minutes late to bring me back despite scheduling well in advance.Clerks up front are rude, except towards each other; its like mean girls in high school again. Also, I went through the task of sending them my IDs front and back in pre-paperwork only for them to photocopy it again - what was the point?!Nurse that helped me was extremely rude as well, to the point of giving me orders and shutting the door in my face, as to avoid any follow-up questions. Then they stuck me in a room, with no reason or ETA to when Ill be seen.40 minutes later, the person that comes in tells me they have everything theyll need and theyll call me in a few days with results; they never explained why, nor apologized for wasting near an hour of my time for nothing.Havent felt so much like a number since military service.
The desk staff was friendly and efficient, and the practitioners were all very kind, knowledgeable and helpful. I didn’t wait very long to be seen, and the whole establishment was clean and pleasant. They treated my pain on the spot instead of only sending me away with prescriptions. Much appreciated.
Terrible time management skills set an appointment for 1:30 didn’t see me until 300 Very little communication with anyone in the waiting room. one lady had to ask how long her husband would be 3 times before they even took the time to actually go check. Was better off staying at home than coming here!! Worst experience ever especially for someone who is already sick!
Scheduled an appointment Online and did all my paperwork online as well. Walked in the receptionist asked my name clicked a button I was checked in. Sat for about 5min got called back vitals done and checked out by Ryan PA. Was in and out under a half hour. The crew at petroglyph location is GREAT!! Keep up the great work you guys!!
I have always had a great experience at the Golf Course location. This visit wasnt so good. After my vitals where taken I showed a tempature of 99.4, extremely high blood pressure, all but two symptoms of COVID, and exposure from infected co-work and household members. The LPN/Doctor didnt read my chart stating I had no symptoms, vitals looked good, and no temperature. Wouldnt take the time to listen as all staff members where in a hurry to push people out. Checked in at 1410 and signed in through the app. They might have been more willing to help others if they where able to assist more than 4 to 5 people an hour, according to their app. 25 where ahead of me finally seen at 1745 and they where moving people through extremely fast. They where staffed as members from Rio Ranch showed to help so needless to say they spent a lot of time burning the clock and only really working hard the last 40 minutes. This is not what they normally do just saying this is not good practice. Everyone is burnt out but this is not the way to address the issue.
I was able to make an appointment online from my phone. The appointment was at 2pm on a Saturday and we were out of there 20 minuets later. Place was clean, Dr Davis was extremely nice and it was great getting my one year old (and 2 other kids in tow) in & out quickly & on our way to pick up the medicine he needs to get better.
Do not go here unless you are real desperate. The ladys at the front desk are always so rude. I went stood there for 5 min before they even acknowledged me because the two of them were having a conversation. Then when they finally were able to put e in a room, I WAITED 2 AND A HALF HOURS. mind you they were not busy at all. They eventually came in and told me that their system told them I was with a provider when I was not. Then they LOST my covid test. And is still making me pay. I will never return dont waste your time and money.I am adding to this post 5 month later. The supervisor replied to my review that she wanted to discuss the issues I had. However i called three times, and no one has gotten bac to me. So obviously she doesnt actually want to discuss, she just wants to look good. 5 MONTHS.
Good front desk service. Surprised with what Dr said. Knowing my history. Overall good visit.
Like many others have said, PA Ryan Davis was great! I went with my mom for an infection on her finger after getting a manicure and Ryan was quick but thorough (and nice to look at lol). He answered all our questions, and was polite and professional, and even gave some suggestions for at-home care as well. We were checked-in and discharged in less than an hour. I would recommend this facility.
I have never before had a negative experience with Nextcare, until today. The provider was very short and seemed rude. If my child couldnt have been seen there, then that shouldve been stated PRIOR to us arriving. Lack of communication between parties is obvious. I doubt I will use Nextcare again after this visit.
Everyone dreads lines, especially lines to the doctor. This place was great! Ok, so I WAS first in line, but the employee, still eating her breakfast, directed us to fill out our paperwork 20 minutes BEFORE THEY OPENED! Who does that? A very dedicated Healthcare worker who is excelling on the front lines. I finished and out of there 8 minute BEFORE they opened.. Thank you, Opening Receptionist Woman on 12 Nov 20.
The only reason I am giving it a 4 Star rating is because the wait time was very long even though I made a prior Online appointment. I was there literally two hours. I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the facility. I’m especially glad to find someplace close to my home.
I always have a great experience every time I visit! The entire staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Most of my visits are for covid-19 tests and Im usually in and out from 15 to 30 minutes. I definitely recommend NextCare for your medical needs.
We had an appointment at 1:30 for an x ray. We have been in a room since 1:45 and it is now 3:20. We have had zero communication. Oh, and the x ray tech went home early, so we have to get a referral to go somewhere else. Save your time and frustration.
Nice and clean facility! At the time there wasn’t a long wait - so I went in and was seen within 10 mins, if that. My PA was absolutely awesome! She explained so much to me and listened keenly to my symptoms. I’d definitely recommend her (Katie), and the facility. I’ll be using their services in the future, if needed.
The medical care was fine when I finally got in to see the doctor. But when you are not feeling well, sitting in the waiting room, and seeing everyone who came in after you get in to see the doctor before you, its very frustrating. At least they should have a clear notice on their website that walk-ins are the lowest priority, and that patients who do online or call center check-in will be seen first.
Funny how all these ppl say they had minimal wait. I have been here for 2 hrs and still not seen anyone. I am still being told that I have 4 ppl in front of me when I was told the same 2 hrs ago because they are “really busy”.They also need to update the paint in here. Olive green isn’t the best choice for a MD office. Cheerful colors plz…
I showed up early for my appointment as requested. Other people showed up after me with a later appointment. Those people were seen before me while I waited an hour after my appointment time to be seen for 5 minutes. Not happy
Physician Assistant Katherine Anderson listened to my description of symptoms. She was empathetic to my situation and gave me great information to support her recommendations. The clinic was very organized and clean. The staff was efficient and professional.Overall it was a convenient and posit Ive experience.
We had an appointment at 11 and we had to wait 20 minutes past our appointment. I had pain in the ears and they needed to be cleaned. I have been seen by Vincent Ruiz. He had a very rude attitude and his treatment is very unsanitary. He used Curettes to get the wax out and he used the bed paper cover to wipe out the stick and get it back into the ear which is not sanitary and there was still wax stuck on it so I asked him to completely wipe it off before getting it back into the ear and he got very rude about it and left the room and refused to come back and so does the other providers there. Very unprofessional!!!!
The dr I saw was extremely caring and efficient. She diagnosed me almost immediately with something I have been suffering with for 3 months.
This is the best Urgent Care! They were so professional and the facility was clean and organized! I was in and out quickly which I did not expect! I would highly recommend them if you are ever in need! Thank you for your help today with my sprained foot.
My son had pink eye and his regular pediatrician wasnt able to do a same day appt. I took him to NextCare and PA Uhing was able to see him right away. The staff was efficient and courteous. My son received the care and prescription he needed quickly. Very pleased with experience!
The wait time was so fast I got the proper care I needed and was in and out within a half hour! I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone. The staff was friendly and helpful and also the doctor was very professional and explained my symptoms and the after care I needed very well!
I went in and got seen. My insurance did not go through but I guess it was not known at the time. I then moved states to attend college. I moved to California. Since my insurance did not go through, bills were sent to my old address in New Mexico. Three bills were sent but I was not living there at the time, therefore I did not receive any of them. No bills, phone calls, or emails were sent by Urgent Care. I was sent to collections by a low-rated agency called Delivery Financial Services. Again, they are really low rated because of poor customer service. This was over a $79.00 bill. I was not contacted by them either. I did not forward my mail because I changed the addresses with the businesses I use and I do not receive a lot of mail. You are not obligated to forward your address. I was also not expecting any outside mail. However, a business should notify their customers/patients when a bill is due. I was never notified.
Highly recommend! I was from out of town and had fallen. I thought I fractured my arm and came here. Clean, inviting environment. The staff was wonderful - detailed, empathetic and took time with me. I was in with the nurse within 10 minutes of arriving and out with a temporary cast in about an hour, including x-rays. I would use them again.
I had a very pleasant experience. I did most of the work online so the wait was minimal. All the staff, both front desk and back were friendly and professional. I’m grateful it’s literally within walking distance from my home!!!! A real bonus🥰
Rude Rude staff plus front desk lady is racist and only acknowledges who she wants!! Tells me the wait time is 30 to 45 minutes after I waited 2 hours. Why not let the patient know that making an appointment would be quicker but she advised its the same thing as a walk in!! Never again will come here to this location petroglyph!! Would give a 0 if I could!!
Ive been here twice and always have a good experience. Thats saying something when you feel your worst! Very nice people and physicians assistants who listen well. Reasonable wait times, too.
I recently had a health emergency and needed to be seen. I tried CVS minute clinic first and every single walk in apt was already taken by 4:00. I went to Next Care off 528 and their systems were down and there was still a 2 hour wait. The receptionist was kind enough to call to the Next Care off of Golf Course and they said they could see me right away. I was so relieved and was in and out with a prescription in under 30 minutes! I will DEFINATLEY go back there again! Also, very friendly staff and awesome PA.
I can’t recommend NextCare Urgent Care enough. It was easy to make a same day online appointment. Ryan Davis PAC was wonderful- very professional, friendly and got me the help I needed. Thank you NextCare.
They frequently don’t have an actual provider on site and don’t tell you that when making your appointment. When you’re already there they tell you this and you have to wait for them to message a provider to see if they’re able to “treat” you virtually (which a lot of things can’t be). Seems like a money grub to me, what’s the point of an urgent care if you don’t have a doctor on site? If you’re making an appointment here call ahead to make sure they actually have a doctor to see you.
They always treat me well and care for me in a very professional way. The nurse that went in to take vitals and clean me up ws very gentle and empathetic. I was not doing good. I feel much better now and hopefully this episode is behind me for good.
Got us in on time! Very thoughtful towards Mom (96). Took their time and made our visit easy!
