Dr Komadina is phenomenal, he really cares about his patients. This day and time its hard to find good caring people. I always have the best experience here.

I went to Health Horizons for years. In the beginning Dr. komadina was the best. I even drove from AZ just to see him for the 2years I lived there. Gradually, as the grew they became less and less supportive, Dr.Komadina became forgetful and I was transferred to Pam. She is fine but not very personable. Recently they pulled the rug out from under me and told me they no longer supported depression and anxiety and that they would no longer give me my prescription. Worse is they lied and said they told me in 2020 but they NEVER did and continued filling it for 4 years. They called in a 30 day supply and said good bye. Guess they werent making enough money off of me or no longer wanted me as a patient. After so many years(15 I think), I now have to find a new doctor while Im an emotional wreck, constantly crying, caring for my schizophrenic grandson and seizure dog and work 2 jobs to support them (when can I find a doctor with all that). I would not recommend them to anyone now. As someone said their front staff is rude, and they no longer value their long time patients.

Worked with Dr. Jason Wong and it was an amazing experience. For the first time in years I have faith in the medical field. He listened to the health issues I was suffering and managed to find an issue doctors for years couldn’t figure out. He cares about his patients and does his upmost even if a particular issue isn’t directly in his field. Thanks to him my faiths restored. I go by a alias online but he knows who I am :D

UPDATE: My review has changed for the better. Friendly interactions occur now with professional staff at check in/out. Seems things have become more streamlined. I will continue to come here, both for hormonal and facial treatments.Unfortunately, I can only give 3 stars, and this is all because of the front staff. While Debra is a phenomenal physician and her assistant is friendly, the front staff is anything but. Each visit Ive had starts off negatively because of the front. They act as if they hate their job, they do their best to avoid you when you approach the desk, and they act as if its not their job to check in patients. When I call in, they put me on hold and every time Im on hold long enough to have to leave a message, in which never gets to the proper person to call me back. I have to call numerous times to get the help I need.

Shikah is so awesome and really makes me feel comfortable. The other staff were very friendly too!

I’ve been going to Health Horizons for a few years for gynecology and hormone injections. I had my first appointment with Dr. Jason Wong and felt compelled to leave a review.Dr. Wong was a great match for me! He was personable, thorough, and a great listener, but what I liked the most was how up-to-date he was with the current medical science concerning basic health and aging. Anyone looking for a well-rounded doctor who knows his stuff and has a great bedside manner should consider seeing Dr. Wong.

We have been working with Health Horizons for a while, and Dr. Komadina and his amazing crew of providers are truly exceptional. I went in for a microdermabrasion, because I had heard about positive results from the procedure. I walked in and was greeted by someone who didn’t appear to be enthused with her job, but when I was greeted by the esthetician, Cheyenne, it turned my experience around immediately. Her customer service was great from the beginning; I advised her that I had not had my skin worked on, only for her to assure me that she would work with my skin concerns. She did that and so much more! She gave me tips for my at-home skin care routine and continues to allow me to reach out to her with any questions/concerns I have. I am currently scheduled for my fourth appointment with her, and will continue to make appointments at Health Horizons as long as she’s working there. Cheyenne makes the whole experience, before and after, nothing less than amazing.

I am so pleased with the care that I received from Ericka during my procedure. She Is caring and made sure I was comfortable during my procedure. She works so hard to make sure the results you expect are achievable. I am cautious and discerning when it comes to my skin, especially when it involves my face! I highly highly recommend Ericka W. She is very knowledgeable but more importantly, she truly cares about her patients. I trust her skill and I trust her advice. Simply the best!!

She is so kind and she makes an effort to turn what could be just a boring visit into a relaxing spa treatment. Maria and Erica are wonderful. Both are very knowledgeable and have superb technique. After careful planning and searching I am glad that I chose them for my treatment. Maria is great with the injections and Erica is very supportive and helpful in distracting when time for the injections. Great team and happy with results. Will be going back and would highly recommend.

Been going to Maria for over a year now. She is the reason I kept going back. I first started with the pellet, then she got my thyroid under control. I had several of their services and all done by Maria. She is absolutely amazing and knows what she is doing. I recommend her if your thinking about having Botox or fillers. The Morpheus was life changing for me. The effects were immediately noticeable and continued to grow with each application. I went here for ten years for bladder treatments. Not once did anyone mention hunners lesions. (Ulcers in the bladder) I got a better DR and we did the procedure. I had a total of 26 lesions.He basically just kept me on the payroll and SEVERE PAIN for 10 years. I could’ve had 10 years of tolerable pain. All the days I cried. Didn’t feel heard. Couldn’t walk or work.And for what? So you could fail me as a doctor?Don’t trust this man

Dr Komadina delivered my third child in 1985. He was wonderful as my obstetrician and subsequently as my gynecologist. Ive had some health problems recently and he addressed them head on. He has my best interest in mind and I trust him implicitly. His staff is professional, efficient and friendly.

I’ve been receiving pellet therapy for 7 years and have felt the very best with my health! Also Jill, nutritionist, helped me lose weight and reduce my diabetic medications by going on a low glucose diet which I still follow today. My 87 yr old Mother is also trying pellet therapy to help with her osteoporosis and my husband just started pellet therapy too! We all appreciate Dr. K and his staff!

Dr. Komadina takes time to speak to his patients. There is no rush and he is very attentive. He explains everything in detail and sends additional emails so patients understand their bodies and how to treat their ailments. Dr. Komadina is excellent at what he does.

Worst visit experience ever. I chose this doctor office because they got high rating Google reviews for Dr. Komadina. I used Google reviews all the time to help making my decision when it came to choosing new businesses to try out. So here I am, putting back my 2 cents in the reviews so the next people know what I experienced and make their decisions wisely. I tried to make appointment with Dr .Komadina but he was fully booked so they gave me an appointment with a nurse name Tracy. I assumed if Dr. Komadinas reputation is that good as other google users said then his staff must be just as good. Boy, was I wrong? First of all, the office was hot as hell because their AC was out of order. Sitting and waiting in a hot doctor office in hot NM summer day is no joke. But that I can understand, the situation is out of their control. My review here is focusing on my interaction with nurse Tracy. She was rude and unprofessional. She was talking so fast but yet kept asking the same questions over and over again like she didnt pay attention to the answers I just gave her like 1 min ago. She acted like she was very busy and in hurry to go to the next patient while she was examining me. Hello, your patient is RIGHT HERE. Again, she talked so fast but didnt deliver important info that I need to know about my medicine, what not to do while on medication. And I need to go to a lab to get my blood work done. I found out that info from one of the receptionists. Wasnt that bizarre? I have to go back in 3 weeks for lab result review with her. Mehh...not looking forward to it but i must know my test results. What a disaster!

I adore the staff and NPs art this practice. The NP was honest, kind and compassionate. She provided professional output and put me on NP thyroid and troches and I am already feeling human again!! I am more happy, brain fog is clearing and less tummy inflation.

The ladies are amazing! I will continue to visit for more services. I have been to other medical spas but had never experienced the kind of reception that I have with Health Horizons. I cant express enough, how friendly and amazing the ladies are. I highly recommend.

I’ve done plenty of microdermabrasion treatments in the past and they were pretty expensive but no results. I found this place and the prices were much cheaper. I assumed it would not be that great, but it’s the best treatment I have ever gotten! I cannot stop raving about it!

In 2013 I knew something was wonky hormonally with my health. I visited Dr Komadina and learned much: I had a condition/autoimmune disease called Hashimotos and the Synthroid medication I was taking for my hypothyroidism lacked free T3 and free T4. But I also discovered that I was deficient in estrogen & testosterone (death & caregiving for a loved one WILL deplete your endocrine system). I tried the testosterone pellets which helped me immediately. However, I was bound and determined to address my Hashimotos & thyroid deficiencies through diet. I accomplished that & got off the testosterone. I I continued with the naturethroid medication & did well...until 2021. Fast forward seven years and I knew that I needed to go back to health horizons. Melissa Ortiz is now part of Dr. Komadina‘s group and she is equally outstanding and impressive. I’m not so much interested in looking young but I am interested in feeling vibrant and embracing living like hiking and cycling and weightlifting and gardening. They are helping me get back to health again!

Im skeptical and been going to Dr. Komadina for my IC. He is understanding,and very patient with me. Ive tried the biote hormones theyve worked but I had to stop they are so expensive for me. I highly recommend if you have any issues concerning anything he will help you.

Kinda disappointed with my microdermabrasion this time, I think she went a little too much and causes some bruising between my eyebrows where I had like no pimples. And some of my current pimples that were starting to go away she caused some bruising as well. All the other times I’ve gone this has never happened, now idk if I will be going back.
