This place is the absolute WORST doctors place I’ve been to!! During my time here I’ve been switched doctors four different times. They NEVER answer the phone, it’s incredibly hard to get an appointment, and they are so disorganized. The staff clearly don’t keep each other in the loop. I would have missed phone calls and when I would call back they would have no idea why I was called in the first place. One time I was called a day before my appointment telling me they had to cancel it because I was supposed to get labs done (the nobody told me about) four months ago. Why did nobody let me know sooner I had labs overdue? Some of the staff is really rude too and it’s been overall a very unpleasant experience.
All in all, everyone is so nice and gracious. Ive been a patient since I was in grade school- I’m 32 yrs old now; I’m one of the people who call and leave a message about an appointment- and then miss the whole appointment altogether and then forget about it. “La Clinica” always demonstrates hospitality and concern but most recently a glimpse of their efforts to reach out and help their patients. I received a call from their billing/insurance department a few days ago requesting to update my insurance info and I have yet to send it to them. This place is a non-profit and is not part of a conglomerate array of health clinics that overcharge, mistreat people, or “accidentally” let people die. I also have to remember that this is not a hospital, nor am I super important for them to stop what they are doing to help me. I am humbled and will give them some time to respond the next time I feel so entitled to get an answer when I call the first time or when I need something urgently.
Called for a week and just send me to the voice-mail saying that will return the call. They never did!Went in person and saw the front desk playing with her phone and she said they have not enough people to work. May the few they have should be working and not playing on their phones!!Terrible!!!!Dont know how they keep being financed!!!!!!Maybe I should record at the clinic calling and see what they do and then make it public or reach some department to make this noticed and public!!
If you are feeling sick and need a reference where to go this place wont help you at all , suppose to be la clinica del pueblo where you search for help and at least referrals you to the next helpful place. No empathy whats so ever. This place sucks now , if you hispanic dont go there 😒 , they will not help you. They are closed for the hispanic community 😕
The doctors are very good, unfortunately the reception leaves much to be desired since they never answer the phone when you call, my experience has been terrible, since I am waiting for a referral for the mephrologist, I have been calling for 5 days for such a referral and they do not deign to answer much less return the call, not even because it is for a medical specialty! Unbelievable the negligence of these people, they should change the staff for a more efficient one
I would have to agree with some of the other reviews. I have been calling for the past 5 days and not a single time has anyone answered the phone. Ive pressed numerous buttons to reach numerous departments- THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE. It kind of makes one feel that they dont really care about their patients.
Once you are there you are good. However, it’s very hard to get in touch with them. You have to call over n over again! They also don’t return any voice mail calls.
Great service to the community, they provide affordable or no cost healthcare to the district residents that are underinsured. They also help you to get a health insurance. Thank you for your service!!
The doctor there is the best pediatrician my daughter has had so far. She is caring, knowledgable, and very good with her patients. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Of all my daughters pediatricians this office has the best weve had so far. In addition, the office is conveniently located near PG mall.
Horrible clinic! NEVER picks up the phone to make appointments, refill prescriptions, inquire about anything. You are better off being a patient somewhere else. I call for a week straight leave 3-4 voicemails and NEVER receive a call back!
What an amazing experience this clinic offers. I can write paragraphs of positive testimony, but to summarize, the nurses, receptionist, doctors, therapists all define selflessness.
Valeria who is in charge of releasing medical records to appropriate party is lying and saying she is cooperating with social security. She is making me go through hoops. There is a special place in hell for you lady who doesnt understand youre playing with my moms life here. You get paid to do a job.

You can NEVER get any one to answer the phones and when you go it’s almost always empty and the receptionists aren’t attending any calls.
My mother tried to make an appointment with the clinic only to be told that they can not accept new appointments for several months. Seriously?! That is just terrible service.

I have a month calling to ask for a reference and do not give quotes what you do not available. Maybe when they have an appointment, they will be asked to help with the death certificate. Maybe they never get sick and dont know what it means to have an emergency?
The older man with brown hair is very arrogant and mistreats people, what a bad attitude. If you dont like the job, look for another job. I saw how he was referring to people who feel sorry for their poor work attitude.
I have been a patient of this clinic for many years. Everything has been very good. Now thank God I have my own health insurance. And the town clinic keeps asking me who is paying for the medical insurance. Im not asking for discount help. They simply have to accept my health insurance in the end. They charge insurance, not me. 🤷♀️

I come because I was going for an appointment and these unfortunate people dont care that people are sick, people go for emergencies, they dont go because they want to be there looking at their faces, they say why do they have appointments for a month, name too much, how are they not going to attend to people who arrive with an emergency for a vaccine, nothing more than that, in 10 minutes they give it and they are there on the phone just making a fuss about being important

Very sad. Because they are not so responsible. You call and they dont answer. It takes a week for them to see you and if you need an urgent referral, they dont care about it. You have to go ahead. They have become very slow in everything. It is better to find a private doctor.

I am a patient of the clinic and I love it since I got pregnant, the clinic has always supported me without having insurance and I only pay the minimum per consultation now my little one is 2 years old and I really feel very happy that there is a clinic that really helps To many people like me without insurance, I recommend this clinic, the care is very good.

I am very grateful for all the stuff. I have been there for years and everyone has always been very kind. It is a shame that I ran into a certain Susana Boso or Boscos, who is a bore who would not even let me speak and when I managed to speak I contradicted my doctors instructions. The head teacher who works there (lack of ethics) was annoying and when I told her that she was being annoying and that she wouldnt let me talk that I was sick and I was making a great effort to talk, she told me that I couldnt listen to him hello hello hello and Im done hanging up after a while she returned the call and lowered her rude and arrogant tone of voice and tried to be friendly and the little calm she had I took away and one sick person (with covid) does not want a nurse or doctor to take care of him like that one. I do not recommend anyone to renew their insurance at this clinic. The lady who treated me is one of the worst. All of us who were there lost the whole day and she did not renew my insurance. I think they have to hire people like him. Sir, she was more efficient before, she doesnt even know how to do the job. For the same reason I am no longer a patient of theirs...

Now I went to the town clinic with high blood pressure, very bad. I had an appointment with Dr. Susana M. Lopez but she behaved very badly because when you are sick it is not for you to feel worse because I went to see if they could help me with my problem but she once told me that you are sick because you dont take the medication and I said that if you had taken it and she told me if you took the medication you wouldnt be sick she told me I got worse than I expected

I am pregnant. They made me wait three weeks for an appointment, they told me I had to go to DC to see the doctor and after I arrived at the appointment they left me there for two hours waiting to tell me later that they cant see me because I dont live nearby. They sent me to another place telling me that they would treat me there, which was not true.
