I had an excellent patient care experience with Medical Assistant, Samantha I. at MW PC / ObGyn at Embry Mill on 9/9/24. She used High Reliability Tools to provide me with excellent standards of care. She explained what I could expect during the procedure as well as she verbalized what she was doing as the procedure was conducted. She was very attentive and made me feel at ease. This is a procedure I had never heard of before and it was definitely one that could make a person feel weird. Also, the music that was piped into the room was nice and helped during my procedure. The front desk staff and manager were also professional and friendly. Overall, great facility and experience.
The professionalism and care of the entire staff and reception personnel are impressive. Dr. Thott performed my procedure, and I have been pain-free ever since. I am so grateful.
I saw Dr. Carson for the first time. I’m a former patient of women’s health and surgery. What an amazing doctor. She calmed my bundle of nerves. We shared some laughs and I unloaded a bunch of emotions that I’m going through right now and she was so understanding, she heard all of my medical concerns. She provided great advice and she took her time and was very thorough. What a gem of a doctor we have here in Stafford. I also loved that the bloodwork she recommended was just right around the corner so it made for like a one stop shop.
I was with Elite Womens Heath before they merged with Mary Washington OBGYN and am very happy with the care I received with all providers. Specifically I saw the Midwives for my first pregnancy and gave birth with Julie Weathers at Stafford Hospital. As someone who likes to do a lot of research, I’ve seen the stats on high hospital intervention rates and heard the horror stories about women feeling coerced or fear mongered during labor. I can say the Midwives and nurses at SH provided me wonderful, evidence based care that prioritized my birth wishes and provided informed consent across the board. They were all happy to see my birth plan and actually paid attention to it over hospital routines—for example I heard Julie reminding one of the nurses I didn’t want the shot of pitocin after delivery unless I was at risk of hemorrhage and it felt great to know I could trust my care team to treat me as an individual and not just another routine in their jobs. So if you’re reading this trying to find a place for pregnancy care—I highly recommend the Midwives here!
I had a wonderful experience for my annualWe’ll woman appointment with Brittany Shenk, PA. She is extremely personable, compassionate, and listened to all of my concerns with detailed responses and a plan of care. The front desk members and nurse who brought me back were also extremely courteous and friendly during my appointment.
The staff at this location has been nothing short of phenomenal. In todays medical environment, walking into this practice was a breath of fresh air. The care and responsiveness is nothing short of impressive.
I saw NP Renna Clark she left an amazing impression. She listened to my concerns and I didn’t feel rushed and I could feel that she cares. It’s hard to come by a provider like that .
I previously saw Brittany at their old practice and followed them over to the new practice. I absolutely love the staff & how caring they are and making your voice feel heard!
So lemme just start off by saying…Not all doctors suckIve had one from this location that was amazingI loved olivia kruger shes amazing…But i at this point am fed up with mary wash ob’sI have seen everyone at the fredericksberg location and 3 from the embrey mill location and have had a awful experienceAll my visits have been nothing but doctors not listening to my issues ive been having during my pregnancy and just dismissing me and acting like i am clueless and just complaining about being pregnantIm 34 weeks and work in a warehouse and im at the point i cant work anymore…I asked a doctor for a note for work to basically say why i am requesting maternity leave and i had her response beOh well if you cant handle work then you probably should just consider quitting because i cant give you a note excusing you yet….I work for a company that is incredibly strict about alot of stuff leave wiseAnd ive had dizzy spells that led to me almost fainting ive had pelvic pain thats so bad i cant walk anymore…So this doctor acted like all my problems were never mentioned and im just trying to get out of pregnancyWhen all im trying to do is finish out this pregnancy safe and sound without the fear of hurting myself or my unborn child while at work and near fainting every day…If i could give a zero i probably would
NP RENNA CLARK is who I saw today and I am so happy to have found her. She was so sweet and kind. I did not feel rushed with her and she seems like she genuinely cares about her patients. I will continue to come here even though I do not live close by. The office is clean and everyone is friendly..
Love this office! NP Brittany and her nurse Sara are amazing! Front desk staff was also amazing!
I called Mary Washington Primary Care in Stafford to schedule an appointment for May 30th at 9:00 AM and was promised a confirmation text that never arrived. Despite this, I was assured to come in at the designated time. Upon arrival today, I was greeted with the news that the doctor I was supposed to see was unavailable. Apparently, I was mistakenly scheduled for October. I was not offered any alternatives. This mix-up is a terrible start for a new business in Stafford and reflects poorly on the management.
12+ months wait for an annual check up?! How is there only 1 PCP right now. So MWHC is trying to say that this one physician has over 4,000 patients see?! That is extremely hard to believe.
Best doctor he takes his time and he listens to you. You are not a number!
Unfortunately, it is hard to get a hold of receptionist in the morning to discuss scheduling an appointment.
Dr. Thott is amazing. I will follow him and his staff anywhere.
Excellent facility and staff
Dr. Carson was very Through and detailed
Everyone was very kind and attentive.
