I stopped in an hour before closing and didnt realize it until after I signed in. The front desk lady was very nice and helpful, since I didnt live where I was being seen she let me know about local pharmacies. Then the NP who saw me was AWESOME!! He was very understanding and told me of other supplements that I can use daily from the pharmacy. We ended up talking a bit as we had stuff in common as well. He was very good at his job and easy to talk to. If this was closer to my home, Id go back again. Thank you to everyone on staff that night.

I let them know online when I could get there, a save your spot kind of thing. I walked in 5 min early, gave my information and sat for 2 min and they called me back. Everyone was very nice and helpful, they listened and asked questions. The nurse was great, the doctor was great. I am slowly getting better and I am very grateful we have this establishment in our town.

I was really sick and the doctor spoke very loud, which did not help me. otherwise she was pleasant and efficient. Oh so I dont think I was given a diagnosis just that there are several books going around and they have to run their course. It is worth going back if I ever need to again. Hopefully, this new doctor that I have an appointment with on the twenty third will be my new pcp.

I was a walk-in, no appointment and was seen within 10 minutes of walking thru the door. Facility clean and bright; staff is friendly, helpful and caring; the LPN and Doc are very knowledgeable - top notch medical care. They had me on my way within 40 minutes; game plan in hand for further medical evaluation.

The care I received here was probably the least helpful of any medical facility I have ever been to. Their employees don’t understand how Tricare referrals for Active Duty personnel work, and they should be removed as an authorized provider. Request a different place if you’re Active Duty and the nurse advice line sends you here.

Pa was patient and Kind with Hayleigh helped her understand her treatment plan and let her choose not to have an injection. He offered her options other than the injection to resolve her pain

I liked the staff and how friendly and reassuring they were. The service was fast and the wait was not long.

I easily made an appointment online when my regular doctor could not see me. I waited less than ten minutes to see one of the medical team and reviewed my symptoms. The NP assessed my needs and in less than 30 minutes I was on my way. Everyone was gracious and kind.

Everyone from the front desk to the physicians assistant were very kind, courteous and professional, and I walked out a happy camper

From the reception desk, to the exam room with the nurse who took my vitals, and the Doctor who examined me. Professional and courteous from beginning to end, would highly recommend

The staff was excellent, however the reason for my visit was to confirm my home COVID test and get medication but you don’t do an instant test It takes 3 or 4 days to get back and by then the Paxlovid is about useless.

The staff is efficient and friendly, they move patients through quickly and provide excellent care.

All of the staff at this care center were friendly yet professional. Our wait time was maybe 10 - 15 minutes. Courtney listened closely to my husbands symptoms then discussed her plan of treatment. We were on our way within 15 more minutes. Its great that someone can feel confident about the treatment this care center provides its patients.

Staff was great!! Knowledgeable and kept the situation light. I was a bit freaked out by my injury, but they handled it well!

Im disabled and waiting on my new copy of my insurance cards to come in the mail I had one of my insurance cards with me but because I didnt have my 2nd one in person they refused to see me.. I wish they would just accepted phone copy of the insurance and if I can provide the number to my insurance and been there before they should see you.. being denied care sucks.. I will keep posting negative reviews till they stop refusing to see me with out the physical card in hand..

My son came in with a very high temp and was in need of serious medical attention. The staff went above and beyond and made my son and I as comfortable as possible with our situation. They seriously saved my sons life and I can not thank them enough. It was the entire staff there but a big shout out to two women who absolutely deserve a medal for what they did for us. Penny Lewis, and LaToya Smith were my saving grace this past weekend. I am forever grateful for these women.

I went because my ear was hurting. I have swimmers ear. However my ear still hurts and the drops make it feel like water.

Great walk-in for all ages, for when you can’t get in to your family dr (or maybe you don’t have one), yet you don’t quite need the ER. The staff are kind and knowledgeable.

Alex was wonderful. Called my family doctor, & like most people, I was told to take up space in an ER. Bad response. I went to the walk in clinic back in December 2023, & the guy put me on antibiotics, which was fine, but didn’t work, probably viral.But I had been sick since November.Returned after contracting COVID for a week, still wasn’t better, had also been exposed to mold,, and Alex listened to it all. And that’s what this is all about.Listening to patient history.Thanks to Alex, who treated me for a bacterial infection, I’m hopefully on the road to recovery. If not, I will return when I know she is working.

I attempted to receive care here the other day and couldnt due to the incompetency of Christine D. at the front desk.I had an appointment and Christine was, I guess, unfamiliar with my insurance (which is a branch of BCBS issued in a different state that covers urgent/emergent care in any state). Understandable, which is why there are instructions on the back of my card that tells out-of-state providers to bill their local BCBS--in this case, BCBS of DE. However, Christine wouldnt look at the back and, to summarize my encounter, she insisted that despite me having been to ChristianaCare-GoHealth urgent care before (the one in Dover) without any problems with my insurance covering the care, that they nor any provider in DE would accept my insurance (because according to her, it can only be used in the issuing state, which is incorrect for urgent/emergent care). I called my insurance in the parking lot and after verifying they will indeed cover it, I went back in and Christine still said no, and that if I want to be seen, I can self pay but that she will absolutely not even attempt to bill my BCBS insurance first. Christine even suggested I go to an ER because they cant turn you away which is ludicrous to suggest I tie-up an ER when I have perfectly fine insurance that covers urgent cares. It even says on the ChristianaCare-GoHealth website under covered insurances that BCBS DE, MD, and Out of area are all covered. Christines incompetency unreasonably delayed me receiving treatment.Not to mention, she was very rude, disrespectful, argumentative, and condescending. No greeting upon entering, no smile, no apology for the inconvenience or confusion, nothing. She treated me right off the bat as if she thought I was going to scam her! Christine gives the impression that ChristianaCare-GoHealth is strictly a business that only cares about money, not the patient. Very disappointed in my experience at this location.

Went in today, June 15 2023. They re opened the place it was closed for a while. It was a very pleasant experience as usual. The girls in there were nice and they were very social. I saw Dr. pamela, she is an absolute pleasure. I believe I have seen her before there, I am not 100% sure. They see adults and children if needed. I definitely recommend going in if you need to be seen quickly. ALSO, you can make an appt ahead of time on the website to save time...... One day, I went in because my son split his eyes open at school. So I went in to sign in on the kiosk and sit there for 2 hours while people were coming and going, and not one person said anything about sitting there for so long and not being seen. I know people can register ahead also. I figured there was just a long wait. There were quite a few people there. Come to find out when I did the kiosk, it never registered. So finally my wife came in and fixed it..

I walked into this facility and was very pleased with the cleanliness and congeniality of the staff. They were extremely busy and I was seen and out the door in less than an hr and a half which is very good considering I did not make an appointment. I would highly recommend:)

Easy scheduling online. They were prompt to check me in and to be seen. The whole facility was clean and organized. Everyone was professional and kind. They fixed me up good as new in no time.

Book an appointment to this urgent care went in and both lady’s in the front had nothing but attitude towards me and my sister. I came up in the system and all info about me was incorrect tried to change it and got nothing but disrespect. Every time I tried to talk I was cut off. They needed to get approval for me to get checked out by one of my parents who has custody of me and I told them “I’m not too sure who has custody of me because I been living with my sister for a year now but I think it’s my mom” (like again I wasn’t sure who has custody of me) they called my mom an it went to voicemail so I called my mom on my phone an it was ringing. Once my mom answered my phone the lady wants to tell me that I can’t get approval on my own personal phone and that they had to have it on there company cell. Then after bickering for a while the lady said that I have to bring in a mom or dad to get approval so I went to go pick my dad up and have him bring me to the urgent care. got there again and they said they had to call their supervisor to see if I can get in. Waited about 510 minutes for them to come back and say they can’t, take me in. My dad asked for therre name and lady wouldn’t give it to us (btw she’s a nurse and is required to) but then gave us the supervisor name, which was the wrong name on purpose. Nothing but disrespecting for absolutely no reason at alll!!!!! This place sucks!!!!

Super convenient online reserve a spot option.Expansive waiting room with lots of natural light.Kind medical staff who were sensitive to my pain.I had zero wait in the waiting room and was back home able to care for my young kids in less than an hour from when I first left home.

Very professional and courtesy staff, saw to my medical needs. Doctor versed me that the facility were not capable of handling RA patients but were able to prescribed me pain and inflammation medication to relieve my symptoms. I cannot thank her enough because after taking 1st dose I felt fantastic.

Sam G was great! She was very friendly, and being that she is shorter, she made a joke about me checking my own height because she couldn’t reach to measure without getting a chair. She made me laugh even though I wasn’t feeling good at all. Sam listened and was very caring when I explained what was wrong. Provider, Pam, also listened and didn’t rush me. This location is very clean and bright. Highly recommend Smyrna location. You can teach a lot of things but caring comes natural to all the staff there.

I like the gohealth in Smyrna. I have found that their health care professionals have been very thorough and listen to what you have to say.

The staff was great. I was welcomed with a smile and the check-in process was quick and easy. My appointment time was kept and I was in and out within 20 minutes. The quickest Dr visit I ever had and I was grateful for the speedy service.The clinic was very clean with eye-pleasing decor. I will recommend it to my friends and family.

Wife had appointment today which she reserved online 2 days prior. Sat in the waiting area for almost 40 mins before being called back. Then waited for over 30 mins in the room before being seen by the doctor/nurse practioner. Urgent care means urgent, not sitting and waiting for over an hour before being seen.

This place literally turned down my 9 year old son after getting a football injury over a $50 copay I didnt have on me.

Had to call 3 times now for them to send my sick daughters prescription to the right pharmacy and keeps giving us the run around. If we have the option to pick a pharmacy and YOU choose to send it elsewhere then make it right the first time when it’s brought to your attention. Ridiculous

Brought my 9 year old here for a possible mrsa infection on Friday. I told the healthcare provider her prior history and that she had it twice already. I was told to put a warm compress on her infection. I was told she didn’t think it was anything to be concerned about. I had to give pushback about my concerns and explain she had a disc underneath her skin along with a visible red ring. She prescribed something that mrsa RESISTANT. I was told to follow up with her pediatrician on Monday.The next morning (Saturday) I had to bring my daughter to the ER because the infection was 2x the size in less than 24 hours. It was confirmed MRSA by the doctor at the ER by him just looking at it. They prescribed her a different antibiotic and gave her a pill at the hospital to get it started. The doctor asked where I took her to be seen. He seemed very confused.My advice to this practice, you should start listening to the patient more. The spread of her infection could’ve been avoided if my concerns were genuinely listened to. I will not be returning here.

We saved our spot online, filled out paperwork online, and was seen on-time. Everyone was welcoming and professional. The office was very clean and seating was spaced out. We were in/out in 20 minutes. And they were quick to move our prescription to another location due to the original being out.Thank you for being there on a weekend over holiday 🥰

My experience was great. The doctor and nurses made my 4 year old comfortable and at ease. I appreciate how personable his nurses were. My visit was also quick and straight to the point which is valuable when dealing with a small child.Outside of the actual experience not everyone has access to the internet or the portal so it would be an added benefit to offer a call back or text regarding test results (negative or positive).

Called to check that an appointment was not needed and was told no and to come in. Arrived 7 minutes after the phone call to be told “Oh we’re not taking any more patients today.” So in that 7 minutes, it was decided that you’re done serving patients for the day? What’s the point of calling yourself urgent care if you don’t care to see patients urgently? Or at all?

I had a good experience here. Facility is clean and staff is friendly. You will be seen faster if you schedule and appointment, but walk-ins are accepted too.

I wont be returning to this facility. The nurse practitioner on duty displayed a lack of bedside manner, and had to be corrected and informed on how to properly treat the issue. Basically, I felt like she had no idea what she was doing, which depleted any bit of confidence I might have had in her at the time. At the end of the visit she walked out of the room without asking if I had questions or even a simple good-bye. I asked the nurse if the visit was over and he asked me if I had questions, which I did, and he was helpful, though Im getting conflicting information as to when/how I will receive x-ray results. Ive called and was told that havent been read yet, when initially I was told they would either be read that day or the next. Two after the visit, I have still not received the x-ray results that would indicate the next course of action. Im beginning to wonder if the x-rays were even sent to the radiologist as she said. I chose this location over one that was closer to me because I could get in hours ahead of the other facility, but it was not worth it. I would have been better off going to the ER and waiting there or an urgent care closer to me. Ive already reached out to our PCP and they are handling the care from this point forward.

The employees there are nice and welcoming. Also, I did not have to wait long when I scheduled an appointment ahead of time.

I arrived at the time requested and was taken into an exam room within a few minutes. I was given all the usual tests based on my symptoms. A PA met with me , reviewed the tests and did a physical exam. She was thorough and thoughtful in her review and guidance to me. I was very pleased with my visit.

Very fast and quick service was seen quickly. All staff was friendly and helpful. Physician had nice bedside manner and was very informative.

The young man Amere was super nice! He made the visit really pleasant. The nurse practitioner Margaret Kamara was very nice and really knowledgeable. My ear is doing so much better!!! I made my appointment for 1:30 in the afternoon I got there at 20 after. Texted them that I was here. At 1:30 p.m. I was called in and I was seen within 15 minutes of my actual appointment time. They were really quick.

The staff was very kind and made me at ease. I feel a ton better since I left so they were helpful also

I’ve been to my share of these urgent cares and most of them just treat you like a number, or worst like they’re rather not be there at all. But today was different, I saw PA Stephen and he was an absolute professional. He was respectful, patient and listened to my concern empathetically. I actually felt like a human. Thank you PA Stephen for restoring my faith in urgent care physicians.

Extremely professional staff and my provider was the best ever! The staff and provider were so welcoming and professional and sympathetic to my illness and prescribed treatment quickly. I wish I had made an appointment earlier to seek relief. I give them 100 stars !

After a fall, my wife had a bad cut under her chin. We went quickly to the Medical Aid Unit at Smyrna. What great care we received in a very short time for the totally professional and caring Staff! Want to thank the Physicians Assistant, Lori, who did the closure AND the Nurse, Karen, for providing such good treatment. Highly recommend this place as a result of our outstanding treatment.

Looking at the reviews, it seems that since this became a GoHealth facility, the care quality just plummeted. Tons of 1 and 2 star reviews over the past few months. Really hope someone else opens a walk in clinic in Smyrna!!!The quality of care at this place continues to deteriorate. The place was empty when I arrived around 8:30am on a Saturday morning. Yet I sat and waited for a good half hour in the exam room, which is so fun when youre already feeling bad. I had an ear infection, but the PA (good luck getting an actual MD to see you here) said she didnt see anything in my ear, even after flushing it out. Had the same thing happen there before, got misdiagnosed with an ear infection and had to go to my PCP to get proper care. Fortunately, this PA agreed to send in an RX for antibiotic ear drops, at my insistence that my ear WAS infected (Ive had dozens of ear infections, I know when I have one, the pain and swelling is unbearable), but then she DIDNT send it at all. I called my pharmacy an hour later, and they had nothing. I had to call the walk in clinic again to ask them to resend it.I dont know why this place seems to become more and more incompetent, but I really wish theyd get their act together.

Excellent care facility. I have COPD and was really feeling badly by Wednesday, so I got in the car and drove to Smyrna to be seen at this Urgent care. Everyone was kind, professional and caring. Naturally I got a call-back on Friday as I was COVID + and was sent 2 prescriptions. I am feeling a little better but the metallic taste is awful. This is a good Urgent Care to visit when you are not feeling well.

I agree with the bad reviews because I also agree with staff bad manners to patients or intended to be seen. Why is urgent care if the refuse to see you be ause all appointments are done and it was still 2 hours before closing. My son was sick and hurting. I to endure emergency room luckily it wasnt long wait. He was suffering from strep throat. This was about two and half months ago.

Nurse Practitioner Amber Manning is awesome. She assessed the medical issues I had with confidence, took her time explaining, answered all questions with patience, and provided awesome preventive measures to help correct the medical problem. Came here reluctantly because Im stubborn and waited until my pain was keeping me up at night. This place is simply the best!!! They were so super friendly from start to finish and I was seen incredibly fast as well. The young lady that checked me in was highly sociable, the young lady that took me back was super thorough, the provider came in quickly and validated my concerns, and the lady that checked me out was super sweet and happily answered my question I forgot to ask the provider. If I could rate them higher I would!!

From the time I walked in the door the young lady who checked me in was very sweet. I went at a good time no wait!! When I was called by they were very kind and considerate. I was taken care of quickly. I recommend Christina Care-GoHealth to everyone!!Very clean.

When I came to this urgent when they were over on Main Street, I didnt need an appointment. The service was fast and friendly. Now that they are over on Jimmy drive you have to make an appointment to be seen. When I walked in I was asked if I need to be seen for sickness or injury and I said sickness, then I was asked if I have an appointment. After telling the receptionist I didnt have an appointment I was told I would have to make an appointment. Thank goodness I wasnt having a heart attack or stroke. There was no one inside but yet I was told I had to make an appointment, which if for today would have been 6pm and I got there at 1pm. You would think the name Urgent Care ment you could get care urgently, but I guess not. If I could wait for an appointment I would just call my doctor. Your illness might not be urgent enough for the ER but urgent enough that you need to get help today. Shame on you turning people away without even getting a diagnosis.

The doctor and x-ray tech at the time completely dismissed me. I came there with pain in my foot literally limping and the doctor took an x-ray and came back to me and told me nothing was wrong and told me I could go back to work the next day. I felt unheard, delusional, and depressed because I knew something was wrong. He then later called me back to tell me that he had made a mistake and something was indeed wrong. I would not recommend.

I have been coming to the Smyrna office for at least the past 10 years and I have NEVER had a bad experience! Everybody is always extremely friendly and so compassionate for whatever the need may be from the receptionist to the nurses to the doctors! I’ve been here for sprained ankle, poison ivy, ear infections, complications with pregnancy. Everybody has always been amazing! The wait is never more than 5-10 minutes which is so huge when you are in pain or discomfort, time seems to drag so it’s always nice to not have to sit and wait for an hour or more!! Everyone at the Smyrna office deserves a pat on the back! They are doing fabulous work!

Check in was quick, they were quick to get me into the room. Nurse & Doctor were very good. The doctor only put in the steroid medication in at the pharmacy and not the medicine I could purchase over the counter. I was slightly disappointed because my regular doctor puts all medications I need in at the pharmacy.

The staff is very nice and comforting but my reason for this low two star is because I went in for an appointment and after informing them that my health insurance may not go through they checked it and told me everything was fine. It wasn’t until I tried to pick up my medication did I find out that it had been declined. I’m already a bit annoyed and when I asked how much I owe (not including labcorp) they told me $175.68. I wanted them to send a bill so I can have it for my records with a receipt. Well they gave me the wrong information and I owe $239.35. I do believe the staff needs to be more informative to their patients/customers. This leaves a very unpleasant feeling about going back

My wife Christine, insisted I be seen. The visit was smooth and fast. From Samantha registering me to Abi doing my intake. Bev was extremely nice even though it was painful LOL

We visited the Medical Aid Unit for treatment for a bee sting to my husband’s eye. The eye was swelled shut. Starting with our interaction with Delores, and then a nurse and subsequently the doctor, we received such great care. We had only a short wait to be seen and each person was kind and thorough. My husband received treatment immediately and a prescription was sent to our pharmacy. We really appreciated our experience at this facility!

Quick service, everyone was nice and professional.

The customers service is outstanding. The nurses were friendly and humerus. The doctor was thorough and spent time with my daughter for her sports physical. Christiana Care Medical Unit is Smyrna is the best place to go in the area. Don’t waste your time or money going to the other places that don’t care about your well being.

Quick and easy . I went for myself and as people know my daughter is a handful sometimes lol. Every doctor and nurse in there allowed her to ask a million questions and play the roll . They understood she was just being a kid and that shows more then enough right there . There was definitely a great staff on this morning .

Waiting for 55 minutes to check a x-ray. Eden hill branch Doctor or NP sent us to other branch for x-ray without the order and prescription however we advised we did not need anything and Christiana urgent care @ 300 Jimmy drive let us waited so long after we registered, reminded them we had been there for 45 minutes, a receptionist went in then 10 minutes later we called for the x-ray. We are still waiting now 13:00 pm since 11:17 AM we arrived.Up date, after google review, NP suddenly appeared to let us go without x-ray results because she could not figure yet if its fracture or not. Also no x-ray copy due to broken CD machine. 3:30pm I called them, heard the result of fracture. NP told me they are not providing a reference. Told me to call our own pediatric in other State to make appointment or to go to A I Dupon(What is that?). After some forcing communication @ 4:50PM I was able to pick up the diagnosis the injury and the one provider refer which it opens 2 days later. This is our day #2 in DE. Beware this urgent care with any bone issue. Especially in holiday. They did not let us go to upper hospital at first hand when it was out of their reach, not showing the x-ray or explain the detail so I wasted whole day just to figure the fracture by the phone. Now we have to go to emergency care for the cast or splinter with the paper printed x-ray. I paid for Urgent care/ER but the service level was very low quality walk in clinic. I regret I took my daughter to these Christiana Urgent Care. This is my worst experience of urgent care for 13 years with 3 children. My daughters growth plates were all closed in x-ray, fracture line was very clear. Could not believe the provider could not figure it out, excused it could confuse to growth plate lines. I may believe if I did not work in orthopedic surgery department. Just so much more and more to say. Very unprofessional but they were kind all the time.

I have never in my life waited so long at an URGENT care facility. I am always seen right away at the one on Main Street… not the case with the one on Jimmy Drive. 26 weeks pregnant with a suspected UTI and I waited over an hour in the waiting room. I had to ask to leave a urine sample before they called me back bc I was so uncomfortable. Got back to the waiting room and waited an additional hour to be seen. They were NOT busy whatsoever. When I came in, there were two people ahead of me… very disappointed and not how I want to spend an entire morning.

Im still unsure what to think of this place, its nice and the staff was friendly enough, but when it comes to others jobs, its very much a mixed bag. I went last month to get an ear infection checked out so I can get appropriate medication. I had scheduled an appointment and gave them all my information, and when I arrived, the front desk took my drivers license and insurance card and pretty much filled out everything from those two documents. I even told them explicitly that I was there for an ear infection. They put me down for COVID related illness. Had to explain that to two different doctors and clarify that it was clearly an ear infection; something the doctors were able to determine just looking into my ear. Well I was prescribed my medication and was out the door without much fuss. I ended up coming back because the ear drops that were prescribed didnt help and I was still having major pain in my ears. Again, I made an appointment, online through a website, and when I arrived this time, I had to wait over 40 minutes past when I was supposed to be seen despite the TV saying I was next. Saw another Dr., he prescribed me some other meds, and I was on my way again. Well now its a month since and Im now seeing a bill from these people. Not only that, they didnt have my name spelled correctly on the bill. I call my insurance and besides the obvious misspelling, they didnt give them a proper bill, so they declined it and told them to resubmit with appropriate info. Rather than do that, they billed ME directly, something they should not be doing since they accept my insurance and should be trying to resolve that first. So instead of fixing the bill situation with my insurance, they simply felt it was easier to just try to get money directly out of me rather than putting in the effort. Regardless, Im annoyed and Id rather not try to deal with this establishment again if this is how they go about things.

I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. I went during mid-day on a weekday so that may have been the reason for the short wait time. Once in the office both nurse and NP were very patient, educated me in a way that I was able to understand. All with smiles on their faces. I believe this is the urgent care center my family will be using from now on.

I want to say a special thank you to Dr. Cristina. I went there in the morning and she diagnosed the pain I was having was from a hernia. She made sure I understood what was going on to cause my pain and made sure I was going to follow up with my primary doctor. I had an afternoon appointment with my primary doctor. A short time after being discharged, Dr. Cristina called me and suggested I go to an ER to get get quicker imagining done due to the level of my pain. I did just that and got set up quickly with a surgeon to evaluate my condition further. Thanks to all the great staff for a pleasant visit on my time of discomfort!

Not sure why this place got such bad reviews I had great experience. Staff was friendly the nurse I had was great and doctor was good. Did the hold my spot online and got in and out in 40 mins. I would definitely go back to this facility for care.

This morning was the second time that my one year old daughter was seen by Dr.V.Goodman. When I walked in this morning and saw she was the physician working today, I knew she would be in great hands. Dr. Goodman is a very personable, professional, full of knowledge, and “real” lady. My only complaint is that she doesn’t have her own practice, therefore, she can’t be my primary care physician.bummer!I also want to add that the nurse who saw my daughter alongside of Dr. Goodman was just as wonderful. She was very patient with my sick cranky girl. ... she even got a few smiles out of her!

I had an appointment for 9:36am (I still dont understand why it was such a weirdly specific time) ... and I still sat and waited for 30 minutes to even be checked in despite the fact that the lobby was empty and 4 employees were sitting up front.I was not examined outside of temperature and blood pressure despite telling the NP that I felt like I had bronchitis (Ive had it a few times before). I spent maybe 10 minutes with the NP and was flippantly dismissed and told it was probably just a cold. Despite the fact that I was exposed to someone with COVID (and I was not asked if that was the case, nor did I have a chance to explain).I was offered no medicine for my severe cough. The NP told me I could check the results of the PCR test one their website but gave me no information on how to even do that. Im extremely disappointed and wont be back. I will have to go to another urgent care now because I dont feel like her diagnosis was thorough or accurate.

Receptionist was polite. Wait time was short. Tech & Dr, were very knowledgeable and friendly.

My experience with Ms. Delores was nothing short of AMAZING. I loved the way she cared for my son as if he was a frequent patient and she had seen him before. She was able to make my son feel comfortable with being at a new place and seeing new faces. If I ever have to come to any walk in again, no doubt it will be Christiana Care because of Ms. Delores! Thank you so much!

This place is a complete joke. The point of a walk in clinic is for parients to walk in and be seen. 3 different people in there and they would not see any of us because we didnt have an appointment. If I wanted to wait a couple of days to be seen, I would have called my pcp. My son needed a non-emergent xray and they said the earliest was Sarurday - we were there on a Thursday night.

Have been here twice in the last month, once for my son and once for myself. Both experiences were great. The staff is friendly and actually cares about your needs.

I appreciate the provider who was kind, polite, and took the time to hear me and the staff who were very polite and friendly. My wait time was very quick in the front and back. Also, the building is very clean😊

Until Sunday I would rate this facility 5 stars. I have been here a few times and have always taken my mother here. I was seen for a Uti on Friday evening and given a prescription for Macrobid, which I have never taken previously. By Sunday morning I had chills, dizzy and nausea. I called to get the antibiotic changed and the provider that day was too busy to speak with me. The front desk guy phoned me back to say the provider called me in a nausea medicine. Are you serious?? So the med is making you sick so lets give you a med for the side effects? Well thanks for nothing because by the next day I was so sick I couldnt walk. Headache, chills vomiting and diarrhea. I was so sick I couldnt get out of bed. So you took the time to order the nausea medicine but couldnt change my antibiotic? I have always liked the staff previously but the action taken on Sunday was totally unacceptable.

This place doesnt have real certified Physicians. I came in having muscle spasms and the Asian student thats still in training told me to go home and take 800mg of Motrin and that I didnt need muscle relaxers. The next day I went to the ER and they immediately gave me muscle relaxers to stimulate my muscles and 600mg of ibuprofen. The real certified Physician stated that he didnt understand why I wasnt given muscle relaxers at the urgent care and that they need real Certified Physicians to actually treat the patients. Although the aids at the front desk were professional the student practitioner needs to stay in school and become a physician before she treats patients.

My daughter needed medical attention and this MAU is the closest to us. The Medical Assistant, Tony R was amazingly pleasant, personable and professional. He helped my daughter feel at-ease about her visit.The NP who treated her, Angela Pollock was absolutely amazing! She, too, was very personable and I appreciate that she refrained from using excessive medical terminology. She was engaging from the start of the visit until the very end.I have not been so “convinced “ about this MAU but these two have given me a much better perspective due to their quality of care!!

I have gone to this facility several times always has been 5 stars. Not today the lady at front desk and Dr were very nice, but the lady that came into my room to take vitals was RUDE. I told the Dr before I left that she needs to be a little bit nicer..should have said she needs to have more Compassion or get another job..Who wants to deal with people like her when your sick..No name tag

When we arrived there was only 1 person ahead of us = 2 hour wait.We finally get back to see the doctor...only to realize....This place needs new physicians that understand bedside manner.

Ms Delores and the NP Ms Lewis were very kind and caring during my visit. If I do need to be seen again I would most definitely go back to the Smyrna MAU location. Service was very quick and my needs were taken care of without just blowing off symptoms. Highly recommend without question.

They were absolutely no help at all. I came into this facility seeking help. They took my insurance, charged my company, diagnosed me with bronchitis, then told me to take mucinex for my cough. Oh and if it gets worse contact my family doctor. I looked long and hard at the nurse practitioner (not a doctor) and said, thats it. She didnt give any kind of prescriptions to help fight this. My fault she gave me an inhaler which I already have. Needless to say I had to go to my family doctor to get antibiotics, steroids and a cough suppressant to battle this nonsense. So I say do not waste your time going to this place at all. There idea of help is sending you on your merry way after they charged your insurance and get paid.Never again

The doctor was actually caring and understanding and did well with our toddler. She was very nice.

My granddaughter was sick with fever and sore throat. I scheduled a 12:48 arrival... at 12:50 she was called back. She was evaluated, diagnosed with strep throat, and had Rx waiting in pharmacy - all in less than 45 minutes. Professional and friendly team also. GREAT EXPERIENCE.

I am pleased to say that the service was wonderful. The staff were extremely nice and helpful. They made it possible for me to get what I needed. There was one person in particular that made this experiance great in the smyrna location; Delores. She was very friendly, kind, and empethetic.

Awful customer experience at this place. I won’t be going back and I’ll be changing who I go to from now on. I call to ask what number I should call for refills for my prescription and she flat out told me she didn’t know. Then suggested I call my doctor or the pharmacy. I needed an emergency refill which I have called for in the past with no problem. Then hung up on me as I was talking. IGNORANT.

It was a very long wait time(almost 4 hours). The doctor walked into the room and said Sorry about the long wait time, we forgot you were here. Doctor was rude after that. Go somewhere else. This place isnt worth the cost of healthcare.

This “doctor” Terry appeared very inexperienced. We went in for a couple reasons, one being a sore throat and she looked at his throat and said “that’s weird”... and that’s it. Nothing more, nothing less. No referral, prescription or any other health tip...the prescription she did prescribe for the other reason was sent to the wrong pharmacy, AND had a typo on the Rx label. Seriously? Idiots. Thank god we found a pcp, because these urgent care people couldn’t care less about us all. Don’t even get me started on the lack of personality the guy had checking our vitals. Wow. Get a job you enjoy, clearly, healthcare isn’t it.

The nurse was very quick and thorough. The PA asked all the right questions and the exam was quick, painless and thorough. Very satisfied with the care I received.

They were fast, the doctor listened to me. I had some tests run but it was still done very fast. They were certainly friendly. And took the time to explain things.

Due to my wifes insistence I arrived at the Smyrna Medical Unit on September 13, 2018 for what I believed to be the remnants of a cold. Boy was I wrong. An exam was performed by Nurse Practitioner Penny Lewis and to my surprise it turned out to be walking pneumonia. I was put on a nebulizer to assist with my breathing as I had a rattle in my chest. This seemed to help. Upon release I was provided scripts to aid in my recovery. I thank all of the staff at Medical Aid for the care I received.

They need to be investigated by the Delaware Public health department. They are going against the medical evidence that is now saying mild symptoms young people should not go to work. The nurse practitioner today told me to go back to work even though I have a virus. This is even after the government is saying young sick people should stay home. ChrisitianaCare does not take the current situation very seriously with this advice.

Made a reservation, showed up and it wasn’t in their system. Showed I called and the best they could do was next day. So their problem is now my problem? Horrible service!

My grandmother took a fall, and ripped her hand wide open. I drove her here, and they would not see her because she forgot her purse (ID and insurance card). Seriously who turns away a 90lb, 87 year old lady with huge tear on her hand dripping with blood?? Disgusting.

First of all if you go here and need to call and ask a question customer service was,very rude tried to prescribe something for mouth sores and patient had none med they gave for cough wasnt working after a week and could not get help with anything over phone except got a very rude man who acted like we were disturbing him went to family doc and he was not happy because patient is 92 and was getting worse would give 0 stars if I could very disappointed😡
