Andreas Schwerte, OMD, LAC - Acupuncture, Fertility & Integrative Health

Andreas is an amazing acupuncturist and herbalist! I was having issues with strange sensations in my limbs that my doctor, neurologist and others couldnt fix. Andreas conducted a completely thorough evaluation of everything I do and consume and set me up with a treatment plan and herbs. Within weeks the sensations were gone! That was several years ago and I now see Andreas for regular maintenance. He has also helped me with back issues (I had a bulging disc a few years ago) and other injuries. My general health has improved under his watch as well - I feel stronger, rarely get sick and have a great energy level, and I know its due to the the treatments and herbs Andreas gives me. On a personal note, Andreas always has great book and podcast recommendations - he is very insightful and I thoroughly enjoy my visits with him! I would give him more stars if I could.

Andreas is a true healer. He is compassionate, kind, patient, professional and incredibly knowledgable about both Eastern and Western medicine. In addition to acupuncture, he uses a wide variety of herbs to customize a blend for each individual person based on their needs at each session. I have seen Andreas for various reasons over the course of many years and he was able to help me every single time. He even helped my young children get through the years of preschool illnesses without needing antibiotics. I will always be very grateful for him!

Andreas is a gifted healer! I cant recommend him enough. Hes helped me with my allergies and hard to heal muscular injuries. Hes smart, thoughtful, and takes care to explain the science behind his treatments. Hes also incredibly well read and takes a very holistic approach to medicine. Ive recommended him to numerous friends and everyone raves about him.

Amazing experience and outcome with Andreas, bottom line. After getting a bulging disk in my neck coupled with pinched nerves and being in constant pain for 3 weeks, I was referred to Andreas by a friend. I had not tried acupuncture before but the pain was constant and relentless so I was willing to do anything to get some relief. I couldnt go to work and was couch-bound. After the very first time I went to Andreas I had a reduction in pain by roughly 20%. After that, I was off of the pain pills within a week. I had about 10 more appointments over a 3 week period and the problem was pretty much cured. I cannot say enough about how much he helped me out. Go see him, you wont regret it. He rocks and is a true professional who knows exactly what he is doing. Life changing experience....when you have chronic pain things can get pretty dark and he cured me.

This review is long overdue! I have been seeing Andreas now for a few years and cannot speak highly enough of him. I generally see him for assistance during fertility treatments - I truly dont believe I would have been lucky enough to have had a successful IVF cycle and pregnancy if it wasnt for him! I have also experienced how wonderful and knowledgeable he is about other issues Ive brought up during our weekly appointments (shoulder pain, anxiety, tooth pain, sinus pressure, amongst many other things). Andreas is a wealth of knowledge, patient, empathetic, and incredibly kind. He goes above and beyond for his patients, and its truly appreciated! I would recommend Andreas to anyone!

Ive seen many holistic medical professionals over the years, as well as, acupuncturists. However, no one can come close to my experience with Andreas Schwerte. His knowledge, expertise, bed-side manner and above all, proven results are in a league of their own. Andreas has a gift of healing and he combines that his peerless knowledge of the human body. Believe me, he can heal what ails you.

Dr. Schwertes diligent treatments have saved me from two serious surgeries in the past 10+ years, latest being an unavoidable back surgery according to two UCSF professors and one of the top Neurosurgeons! (80% of my spine was blocked due to a herniation at S6/L1 and I was almost 100% immobilized, so visiting his office was an extremely painful experience ) The other one was about ten years when I developed a major hip trauma due to extreme sports.... Again, a few expert doctors found the only solution to be an intrusive hip surgery after having exhausted all sorts of therapies. The one therapy I did not give up and insisted on going back was Dr. Schwertes, and it did pay off!!... So, better later than never, I am trying to give him the best review that I can so that he can help someone else like you to heal. I have also worked with other acupuncturists, and Dr. Schwertes very direct and intense approach is par to none. Besides the two major injuries which required multiples visits per week for extended periods at a time, I really appreciate the occasional visits now, where a tweaked muscle, a stiff shoulder or a back spasm is resolved in one session. I am very grateful!!

Dr. Schwerte has done for me what 4 different dermatologists could not (and by natural means!). I came to him for help with my eczema and arthritis in my finger joints, and with regular weekly appointments, daily herbs, and commitment to a diet plan he encouraged, my symptoms completely subsided in 3-4 months. Hes extremely knowledgable and a pleasure to be around. Highly highly recommend Dr. Schwerte!
