Michelle was exceptional. My kids and I had an absolutely fantastic experience. She was kind, fast, and great at her job. No one likes to have blood drawn, but Michelle made it easy and virtually painless. The location was clean and all three of us were in and out in under 30 minutes. Highly recommend!

I’ve visited this location twice, and both times were exceptional! On my first visit, I was helped by a staff member (whose name escapes me, but we talked about Halloween costumes, if that rings a bell for her!) and I shared my fear of blood draws with her. She talked with me throughout the entire thing to keep me distracted. When I felt faint or nauseous, she was quick to provide an alcohol wipe for me to sniff and something cold to hold onto. I really appreciated this gesture, especially because I had a horrendous experience with blood draws at a hospital before which has affected me years later.On my latest visit, I met Michelle, and she was fantastic! She immediately recommended I lie down in one of the rooms after I explained my concerns and was very understanding about it all. It’s evident that Michelle is not only a professional but also genuinely caring and kind. The process was swift, and it’s this kind of service that makes me recommend this place to everyone. I feel like I’m finally on the path to overcoming my fear of blood draws :)

Phlebotomist Michelle, did my drug test last week, and a titer today for varicella and MMR. She was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. She explained the process for the tests and how to access my results. She offered to provide additional assistance in the event I do not receive my results in a timely manner. 5 stars.

Had to get lab work done, the experience here was flawless! The staff was knowledgeable and competent. The whole experience was way way way better than I expected! Recommend to anybody needing lab work done! Way better than competing lab work places I’ve been to.

Lady running the shop is very kind. I told her I needed labs for Monday (it was Friday) and she made sure to email them to me next day when they were ready to make sure I didn’t have any problems getting them off the app.She was a very good phlebotomist, no real pain, and she is very fast. She only needed one try to find the vein.Great experience!

Great experience at the 1604/Braun Rd office. Good info on the web site. Easy to make an appointment. Easy to find location and plenty of parking. Very nice office. Michelle was very welcoming and helpful. Very efficient blood draw. I had the results the next day. I will definitely go back again.

Went in before noon today for my wife’s Blood Type testing . Awesome, professional, and kind staff. In and out in less than 20 minutes. Would highly recommend if you’re looking to get lab work done. I’ll be coming back myself to get some of my own testing done.

I’m usually one who is terrified of blood work and have such a hard time with it. I tend to get nervous and as a result, it’s usually a bad experience because of the same vasoconstriction caused by the nerves.I went in and was completely transparent with Cat (I’m usually just disregarded by phlebotomist saying they know best and I end up getting poked a lot of times with no avail because they don’t listen to what I say) and she was so comforting and listened to me.Not only did she get the vein on the first try, it was honestly one of the most pain free and quick lab draws I’ve ever had in my life!Highly recommend! Caring staff, great customer service, and extremely quick service!

Extremely friendly and understanding service. I called the office on Friday in the midst of personal turmoil and Michelle was extremely helpful and informative. When I came in today for the actual testing, she made a tense situation tolerable and handled business like a true professional. I am eternally grateful for her help and will recommend ALTN to everyone.

I had to get my hep b titer test for school and decided to give this place a try. I definitely recommend coming here! I was in and out in minutes and the entire experience was amazing. The lady who helped me was so nice and helpful. Definitely coming back when i need anything done.

I don’t recommend this place at all. They are poor in terms of communication & professionalism. I came here to do a Covid test which cost me $89. They said it is rapid test in which the result take about 45 min. I didn’t get anything after so I called the lady there and she said she the only one who is working today & the result will be sent to you in 1 hour and half. After 1 hour and half, I called her again and she promised me to send the result before 6 pm. After 6 pm, I called them and find the whole lab closed (the end of day duty). The day after, I called someone who said we weren’t be able to email you the results because the email address you gave us is incorrect. Why I gave my telephone number then???. You should call me if there is any missing or deal with your customers honestly the right way.

WARNING:My wife and I came to this location for a blood test the morning after we believe she had been drugged. We were told the process would take five business days (at the most). It ended up taking two weeks. We take Delta 8 THC gummies which are legal in Texas but do show up as a positive on any drug test. If we were to get a Walgreens at home pee test, it 100% shows up. I know, because Ive done it multiple times. After two weeks of waiting, we get a negative full panel test back. Not only did they get the test wrong, but now we do not have any proof of what we believe happened to her. Therefore, we cannot proceed further with legal action. I spoke with the owner who was apathetic at best and would not offer a refund for wasting our time or our $300.EDIT: Aside from your employees being aloof, the extra week waiting, and this late reply after we spoke on the phone weeks ago, we wont do business with your establishment again. Good day.

Took my 5yr old son to get blood drawn to test for Food Allergies. The staff, I believe her name is Virginia, she made sure he was comfortable and did the job quickly. The place is clean and the staff is very friendly. I definitely recommend this place if you are need blood work to be done.

Edit: I did end up going back today and the second experience was a complete 180 from earlier this morning. I was worried by a wait but everything went quite smoothly. They have a poster advertising a 15 minute wait for drug screenings and Im pleasantly surprised to say that it was about that long.Since I had a chance to see the whole facility this time I can say that it was open and airy and very clean. The process of collecting and submitting my specimen was streamlined and I left feeling satisfied with the way this second experience concluded.******************************************I suppose its necessary to provide a more recent review of this place. Ill preface this review by saying I was sent to this specific location by my potential employer. However, Ill advise them to not use this location in the future.I arrived at exactly 8am, which is when the appointment I scheduled was due to start. The employee who was supposed to open this morning seemed to be working on some other time as she opened the location well after 8. It was annoying since I had other things to do this morning, but oh well. Once I finally made it into the building (and not greeted by this extremely rude and ambivalent employee), I was informed that their internet was down.So, now Im currently in a state of limbo while I wait to see what can be done about the drug test I was required to do today, at this specific location, and at a specific time. If they manage to get their internet back up in time then Ill update this review.Still, it was not a very auspicious start to the day and was definitely not helped by the employee with an apparent attitude problem. Id advise going elsewhere if you can.

My visit today was unexpected as I was notified by a potential employer of a much needed titer. I have been living in San Antonio for six months or so and still am finding my way around town. I contacted the lab for directions and Anne, who told me she normally works at the Boerne location was as helpful as she could be with directions. She did not rush my visit and was very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely return if I have future lab needs.

Came here to get a TB skin test. The check in process was easy and their staff was very polite. Their price for an out of pocket TB skin test was the best/cheapest one I found on this side of town.

Great place to go for blood work. I was in and out in just a few minutes. Found out they can even do yearly blood routine work, and at a much lower cost than other labs. Even with insurance. It’s nice to be able to be more in control of my medical services than having insurance agencies dictate my medical care!!

Very fast service, needed a drug screen for work. Same day results. Getting all my labs done here in future, labcorp and Quest charge triple the amount if not covered by insurance so why risk not getting labs you need when they cost less even without insurance.

So unprofessional. Dont send your drivers to do a drug test here, its a wasting of time. Ive been waiting for 7 days for results, and still nothing, called the lab and they told me that the collection site never sent the white signature, I called right away this location and they dont know what is the white signature, after I explained what is it, they asked me where they should send it ????

The lady there named Kaitlyn really was a helpful as information I asked for questions would love and recommend to go back but this was a second location I went to the first one was on I-10 and older woman then I think her name was Erica was real rude and send me to two different locations that were wrong and all she had to do was typing some numbers but not recommend going to that location on I-10 and Dezavala she gets zero Stars

I am an employer and we sent a candidate to this location TWICE for a pre-employment drug screen. BOTH times, this candidates results came back as, Tamper-Evident Seal Misapplied.The candidate is furious that he has multiple patches of hair missing and now has to come back for a third test. Needless to say, he will not be going to this location. Well send him somewhere else.We will NOT be sending our employees or candidates to this location ever again.
