Had amazing care. I walked in and was treated right away. I got 3 stitches in my hand. The doctor was very kind and sympathetic to my needs. He was patient with me and made sure I was comfortable when stitching. The ladies at the front desk were also extremely kind as well. Would recommend this facility to anyone who needs non emergent care.
The front office person was very friendly, informative and helpful. The assistant who took my child’s vitals was not very patient and seemed to get annoyed when my son had a hard time keeping the thermometer under his tongue. I know children can be difficult. Add in an illness and they can even be more so. However, treating them in a way to make them scared doesn’t help. This was the first time my child has cried at a doctor since he was a baby. The doctor we saw great. She was patient, thorough and took her time. The doctor involved me in the decision on how to treat my child’s illness as there were several options.
The front office was fantastic and my nurse was so kind. I am beyond disappointed with the care provided by the physician. I am 18 weeks pregnant with my 3rd child and have bronchitis and the Dr. told me Im not allowed to take any medications. I was treated for bronchitis previously in this pregnancy and my OB prescribed a z pack I have been on antibiotics many times in my 2.5 pregnancies, so I know this is false. The dr offered me literature to support their reason for not treating me, which I refused because I doubt they know better than my OB. I called my Mercy OB the next day when they were open and they were disgusted with the lack of care I received and immediately called in meds for me. It makes me so angry to think what would happen to another person who would go here pregnant and not receive the care they needed and have this progress to pneumonia. Im so angry that I drove all over to find an urgent care with an opening and spent my $50 copay to NOT be treated. I would NEVER go back here and will make sure to continue to tell everyone how ridiculous this lack of care was. I should get my money back because this doctor literally did nothing but deny me care and then criticize me for working out when I said I realized something was really wrong based on my peloton output. Keep your opinions to yourself about women working out pregnant. Ask any OB and they will tell you as long as you physically feel up to working out, continue to do it. I cant believe this guy is a Mercy doctor. The worst part is he told me he wouldnt want his wife taking meds while pregnant. Ok??? Im not your wife, keep your opinion to yourself and stick to VALID science. Absolutely terrible service.
Wife just went in and they said since she did not have an appointment they could not take her because they closed at 4:00. We got there at 1:45. There was no one in the waiting room. The people in the back were joking around. They were uncaring and not sympathetic at all. They turned my wife away. I went in to ask them what was going on and if they took walk-ins and all they could say is well I have two people in rooms right now and Im not sure if we can take her. Kimberly was very unkind and not caring at allAgain no one was in the waiting room..And it is a walk-in clinic.
I had an emergency situation, and I was so pleased to be able to walk in to this location and be greeted immediately, and treated immediately after that with no waiting. The place is great and the staff was efficient and professional. I would highly recommend this location.
So glad this center is reopened! Staff is super friendly and being able to just walk in without an appointment is so convenient. Little to no wait times.
From beginning to end our visit was exceptional. Everyone was pleasant and professional. Dr. Mike was through and was willing to answer all of our questions until we felt comfortable. You have a good group at this location that work well together. 👍
Dr great just did not have x ray machine at Des Peres office was sent to Ballwin, with info needed to get x-ray. Both offices efficient.
I’m from out of town & needed a place to take my sick toddler. They went above and beyond to double check that they took my insurance. I was able to schedule an appointment ahead of time (to reserve a spot) and had zero wait time. They were wonderful! After my son had his Covid test and strep test done they gave him a popsicle. SUPER KIND! We will back if we have anymore urgent medical needs when we are in town in the future.
I was pleased with the attention and care I received at Mercy-GoHealth Urgent Care. Being from out of state and having a COPD flare up I was treated promptly and courteously.
The woman at the desk, who also took my vitals, was so sweet and kind, and the nurse who saw me was so thorough and reassuring that I felt better emotionally, if not physically. I had a clear plan to recovery when I left.
If only I could give 0 stars... this place let me wait for over an hour with a severe tooth infection just to tell me their debit machine was down and they couldnt see me and they couldnt take cash or bill me. Now its so late in the day that no one else could get me in either and Im forced to go to the ER. All of this couldve been avoided if they said something sooner.
Kind, efficient, clean, and professional. The staff members got us in and out quickly on a weekend visit and we were feeling better shortly thereafter.
Everyone was wonderful. Huge shout out to Michael, the NP, who helped keep my daughter calm when she had to get a stitch.
Great staff! Dr. Michael Puff is a wonderful person with excellent expertise.
The appointment was prompt, the staff was excellent, the care was too!
Everyone was professional and gave me all the time in needed —-very attentive
Had a great experience at this location. Appreciated their additional safety procedures during the COVID-19 pandemic, location was very clean and the current protocol allowed me to feel like the risk of contracting the illness from Mercy GoHealth was very minimal. (Which is worrisome when I’m high risk and walking into a place where I know symptomatic people get tested.) I was able to make an appt online, showed up 8 min early, was texted to come on in within 3-4 minutes, and was led straight to an exam room. Nurse practitioner was very kind, really listened, and gave me the proper treatment for a severe case of poison ivy after thoroughly reviewing my medical history. That may sound like a simple feat, but last summer I went to another place people can “Access” for poison ivy treatment and ended up suffering for three miserable months from an improper treatment despite me telling them exactly what I needed when I walked in. (I’ve had this allergy all of my life.) That “Totally Accessible” place used to be absolutely wonderful and I trusted my entire family to them (incl 5 kids) when it was only one location, but it has grown too big and gotten very sloppy. I was nervous about my first visit to a GoHealth last Fall for possible bronchitis (which turned out to be pneumonia after they did the chest x-ray) in our daughter, but they nailed it and took such wonderful care of her in a compassionate way! I’ve now brought my father-in-law twice, my husband’s aunt once (& she has gone again for another issue...pleased with both visits), been there twice for myself (which seems odd because I’m rarely sick), and will NOT hesitate to return or to recommend others needing thorough care when their doctor’s office is closed or they need to be seen sooner but their condition doesn’t require ER-level services. I’ve been very pleased with the Ellisville and Chesterfield locations! This was my first visit to Des Peres and I am equally impressed. I’ll return to any of these locations in the future. I hope it’ll be a while until the need arises (it seems to come in waves), but I won’t hesitate to entrust Mercy GoHealth with the healthcare needs of my family. I also love that they are able to access my medications from my medical records due to bring in the same system as my primary care doctor. It’s very comforting and I’ve had nothing but wonderful experiences each time. Thank you!
Tried to call in to schedule an appointment as the website was not working. The woman I spoke to could not have been more rude -- she directed me to the website and when I tried to explain that it was down she told me that she had just checked it that morning so I was wrong (even though I said that I was on it at that very moment). When I insisted that I could not make an appointment online, she said they were booked for days anyway, that she had patients to get to, and then hung up on me!
Excellent staff and facility. Thank you!
They did not treat my illness
The staff is very courteous and friendly. They were empathetic and very concerned about my well-being. It is a great location. I was in and out in 30 minutes.
Professional and courteous service and care.
Quick , clean, efficient and friendly.
10/10 recommend! It was an easy process, peaceful atmosphere, great customer service! I appreciate the steps and processes that have been put in place during this time!
Excellent. In and out quickly. Xrays taken and shared with doctor. Follow up calls and exercises provided to speed healing and mobility. No complaints.
Everyone was great. No wait time, which worked to my advantage. Friendly and attentive staff.
The PA I saw was outstanding. She explained everything clearly and I had a full understanding of what I needed to do.
The staff was efficient, professional and courteous. Everything went exactly as they advised it would.
Web site that I was directed to used, said they are closed. Has said that all week long.
