AFC Urgent Care Tigard

We went here today to get our immigration medical done. Everything went super smooth. Everyone was really helpful, no added stress and work got done very quickly as well. Highly recommended. You guys are doing a great service and a great job treating your customers. Thank you so much.

Go there for with a appointment and need to wait an hour. Filled out several forms different times but they always couldn’t find it. Would recommend to use another doctor. Especially for immigration process and other stuff totally overwhelmed.

I was able to get an appointment within a couple hours. When I arrived I was greeted with a smile and was asked to have a seat. It only took a couple minutes before I was taken to a room and vitals were taken. I saw the Doctor within a few minutes. Dr. Shore was very pleasant and made me feel comfortable. He treated me quickly and asked if there was anything else. I highly recommend the Tigard AFC Urgent Care Clinic.

I was traveling from Wyoming out to the Oregon coast for my brother’s wedding when I started to have a really bad ingrown toenail which got infected. I decided to stop at an urgent care in a last ditch effort because of how bad the pain was getting. I was so thankful that they were able to get me in, even though it was an hour and a half wait. I highly recommend anyone who can- make an appointment before going in just to prevent sitting in the waiting room. I wasn’t mad at the wait, though, since I know how busy urgent cares can get. They got me in on time with a reasonable co-pay and the doctor promptly got me into the procedure room to perform a partial toenail removal. She ensured multiple times that I was properly numbed and then completed the procedure with minimal pain. They sent my prescriptions quickly and I was able to get back on the road and to the coast by the end of the night. This situation could’ve easily led to my trip being ruined by being in pain the whole time, but because of the care they provided me when I went in- I’ve been able to focus on recovering with minimal residual pain! Highly recommend to locals and travelers.

Had my second visit in a month today, and both Giselle and Molly were wonderful with my first visit. Today I had Juana and Dr. Lewis as well as their x-ray tech. Both times I felt heard, my gender identity respected and care quality superb.

We seem to run into Jissel every time we have come in and she has been really great. The kids really feel comfortable with her. We had Molly as a Dr. who was super accommodating. Overall a great experience.

I arrived at the clinic just before closing time. Staff took a look at my problem and immediately ushered me in to see a provider. At one point there were 3 or 4 professionals working on me and my needs. All were friendly, efficient, and on point. Not one person mentioned closing time. I was made to feel wanted, and in the hands of quality professional care. I wholeheartedly recommend AFC to anyone and I actually look forward to going back for my follow up appointment.

The nurse practitioner, Caitlin, was exceptional. She was friendly, collaborative, and knowledgeable, and her treatment plan really set me up for success!

I came here to take a health test. After paying for dot phsical testat the reception and completing all the procedures, when I went to the examination room, the doctor did not examine me because I did not know English. He is also an Indian immigrant and he was racist. I realized this to me, his facial expression, everything and attitude were very clear that he was racist towards me The ladies at the reception were very nice, polite and polite. I should also mention this. They took good care of me but the Doctor did not want to take care of me I asked her to translate from Google Translate on her phone, but she refused.

Daphne and Amanda displayed all of the professionalism and grace that one could reasonably expect from people handling urine for a pre employment drug screening. 10/10 would pee into a cup here again.

It was my first time at AFC and the receptionist Melanie welcomed me with a warm smile and was super helpful. Will definitely be coming back if I have urgent needs

Jennifer and Jissel both helped me at my recent appointment. They were friendly, & efficient. No one enjoys getting their blood drawn - but I almost didn’t even know it was happening! It was so fast and easy. They both answered any questions I had. I was very satisfied with the care I received during my visit. Thank you!!

The NP I saw (Caitlin Staver) was so very kind and caring. The PA who she asked to come in to see me was also very caring. My PCP office saw me for my condition (severely painful rash due to allergic reaction) two days ago and treated me so poorly and did not respond to several calls asking for help after that visit even though they told me to call if not improving. So todays visit with AFC staff was the hugest relief for me. I felt listened to, was actually examined, and was given several treatments that are already helping a great deal.

Love the attention to what I need, on time appointments, great nurses, everyone welcoming and warm people, from the desk person to the doctors. Got Joseph today, SUPER good listener and great instructions. This is the place to go for great treatment in Tigard!

First time weve been to AFC urgent care, my husband is a retired vet with COPD & cancer, so time the utmost importance & they delivered.Dr. Joe Mohr, the nurse & the receptionist, were all great, tyvm for the prompt & thorough care.

Jissel and Dr Lewis were very kind and patient! I went in to get my blood drawn and was initially quite intimidated, but their calm and understanding demeanors made it a very smooth experience.

**Complaint Against AFC Tigard Centre**I am extremely disappointed with the service I received at AFC Tigard Centre. I had scheduled a wellness visit, providing my insurance details in advance. They confirmed the appointment without verifying whether they were authorized to book a wellness visit through my insurance.On the day of the appointment, after the doctor had completed the checkup, they informed me that my wellness visit was not covered by my insurance. They then changed the visit code to a regular urgent care visit. This change means I have to pay $190 out of pocket for a visit that I could have easily booked elsewhere, where my insurance would have covered it.Their insensitivity to the cost and inconvenience this caused me is appalling. When I asked for a refund, they refused to listen. Is this the right way for a medical service provider to operate? It seems clear that they are more concerned with saving their own interests and milking money from their patients than providing quality care.AFC Tigard Centre, your irresponsibility towards patient care, time, money, and needs is unacceptable. This is not the healthcare experience I expect. #AFCUrgentcareTigard

My issue was hard to talk about. The staff at AFC made me feel comfortable. Dr. Lewis was compassionate and easy to talk to. Thank you AFC ...your a rare bunch (in a good way).

My visit was perfect. They are organized, quick, and made everything easy. The three people I talked to were friendly and knowledgeable and ideal honestly - thank you MacKenzie, Jissel, and Joe. I will go here again when needed.

Came into AFC Tigard after 5pm to be seen for a knee issue. Was checked in efficiently by Mackenzie and taken back almost immediately. My MA Gissel had great bedside manner, she listened to my concerns and asked good clarifying questions and provided detailed after care instructions prior to me checking out. I saw Joe Mohr who was super personable, did a thorough exam and made recommendations for treatment in the moment as well as in the next few weeks. HaiLee took me back for x-ray and was clear and concise in what she needed from me to get the imaging completed quickly. Overall 5 stars from check in to check out!

I had my wellness here and had a great experience. The staff is personable and courteous; especially Maurine front desk and Daphne medical assistant. Will def recommend to friends and family.

I wish that more providers at AFC urgent care provided preventative womens care like Pap smears, which they used to do. I dont always have a PCP and knowing that AFC could bridge the gap was really helpful. Other than that, I highly recommend their services. The locations are pretty convenient, I feel safe, and the healthcare workers are knowledgeable. I also appreciate that the person I spoke to on the phone before I officially made an appointment looked up my insurance just in case. Apparently, not all insurances consider wellness/annual check-ups to be PREVENTATIVE which is totally stupid, but thankfully mine did cover this service. Be aware of that nonsense!

Everyone from the reception staff who kindly helped me fill out the information into the tablet to the medical staff who listened to me with patience and empathy, were truly outstanding. I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Joseph, the medical provider who examined me.

While everyone else in the office were kind, Dr. Rana was not. She barely saw me for 5 minutes, wasnt friendly, and completely dismissed my symptoms. Being told Im overreacting over allergies isnt great. If I knew I wouldnt get her as a doctor again, Id go back.

Called afc urgent care in Cedar Mill for an ankle injury and they didn’t have X-ray machine so they booked me an appointment for at afc urgent care in Tigard and I was in and out in an hour! The staff was very friendly and the provider was nice and assuring. Glad I came here and didn’t waste time and money at an ER

Ive been to this urgent care twice now, about 1 year apart, for UTIs.Each time it was super easy to make an appointment for same day.I was seen on time for each visit and was out within 45 minutes of check in.I will continue to use this urgent care for my health needs.

Thank you for being friendly, quick, and good listeners. My wait wasnt too long. I appreciated the good bedside manor. I liked knowing what was going to happen before the nasal swab (count to 5 and out). I didnt feel hurried or unimportant.

Was seen by Jissel and Dr. Lewis for a TB skin test and an appointment for a cold, respectively. Great service. Have been to this clinic in the past and have only had good experiences!

Absolutely appalling service. The Beaverton location couldnt do my x-ray so they sent me here, only for them to claim my x-ray has never been ordered (despite the confirmation of my x-ray appointment) so they would not see me. Complete waste of time and money, will never go to an AFC again.

The whole staff was extremely friendly and efficient! The receptionist was very kind and helpful getting me setup. Barely any wait too! Eloisa the nurse was very kind and had great listening skills and patience with me. She was able to get through everything without dismissing any of my issues. The PA Joseph was very attentive and kind. Knew exactly what to try and was fast about it too without making me feel rushed. First portland Doctor experience and I am very pleasantly surprised! I’m so used to having my needs ignored or dismissed it was nice to hear Joseph offer to get a referral for further investigation. Something I’m used to having to almost beg for in other places I’ve lived. Also I was the last patient of the day and everyone still gave 100%! I felt like everyone enjoyed their jobs and wanted to help me. Great urgent care! Highly recommend!

AFC Tigard physicians & staff collectively set the bar high for urgent care for the PDX metro area. I continue to utilize their services because I know & trust them. The consistency & professionalism makes for a really comfortable, positive environment.

Office was very clean. Front desk staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Back office staff was knowledgeable and saw me immediately. Excellent appointment over all.

Mackenzie and Jissel helped me get through the process and paperwork of my work physical smoothly. And Dr. Lewis was wonderful and swift with the exam!

The receptionist, Marine, was great. I was a walk in and we didnt end up having to wait a long time.The NP Eric, was the best Urgent Care provider that I have ever had. Very through, and explained his ideas for my plan moving forward. THE BEST!!

I visited AFC Tigard twice in short order for different reasons and am very happy to report they have changed my expectations of urgent care for the better. Very easy to make an appointment online, and both visits I was in/out within 30 minutes of my scheduled appointment. Very friendly staff, easy parking, and physicians that cared to ask questions and (most importantly) listen to my answers / concerns before coming up with a solution. I obviously hope I dont need urgent care services again soon, but if I do I know exactly where to go!

I have been going to see Dr. Sue Lewis for some time. I feel lucky to be treated by her, and to quickly obtain appointments at AFC when needed. Dr. Lewis is a good listener, caring, skilled and experienced physician. The staff (including Giancarlo, Daphne, and Marine) are helpful and friendly.Updated 4/20/24:Saw Dr. Rama today - she is caring, meticulous and conscientious. Medical Assistant Carrie was excellent at taking blood samples and patient history, and friendly.

This place is great. Jissel and Molly were the best. Made it easy to complete my task at hand and made it very comfortable 😌 Ill be back.

Im appalled Dr.Christian Molstrom is the worst doctor ever. I asked for an X-ray he said no.I was injured at work. I asked for some medicine that would work he said no I also asked for a Doctors note for two days to rest and heal he said no. I am in so much pain standing and walking and he said you need to work and that Im taking advantage of the situation !!!

Deceptive business practices!!!! Do not get services here they are incompetent. I was sick and went here because it was in network. I asked about the charges and was told it was only $20 only to get a $500 bill. They charged my card without my permission and refuse to pick up their phone.

I went in yesterday to get some blood drawn and figure out what has been going on with my gut health...and sure enough Marine greeted me with her big beautiful smile and helped check me in; she was easygoing and so patient.Then I met the nurse Daniela who took vitals and blood draws...she was extremely kind and helpful.Finally, I met Dr.Rana who immediately diagnosed my problem and set me up for script at the pharmacy to hopefully make it all better : )My experience couldnt have gone better; in the waiting room I met a 91 year old woman who looked 73. She was amazing to chat with as well.Thank you Dr. Rana, Daniela, and Marine; you guys are pleasures to be around, and I hope to see you again. (Just maybe not for a bad health reason ; )

Joseph V. was amazing. First time seeing him. He knew exactly what to do and prescribe to get me on the path to healing. They are lucky to have found him for the clinic. He cared and clearly is under the leadership of Dr. Lewis, my primary care who is also amazing. And shout out to Dr. Rana too. They have been my providers since 2015.

Joseph (PA-C) was very attentive to my concerns and symptoms and the nurse Jissel was very friendly and helpful. My questions were answered and the appointment went smoothly.

I was referred to AFC by my orthopedic surgeon for pre operation diagnostics for an on the job injury. I made the appointment and preregistered on line which was very easy and saved me time and frustration from having to register on arrival for my appointment. My appointment was at the Tigard location. All staff that I encountered were very friendly and professional and answered my questions knowledgeably. I was very pleased with how my appointment took place and was completed in a very timely manner as well. Even though my visit wasn’t for urgent care I would highly recommend AFC based on my experience with them.

I’m in pain, scared and broke!! Dr. Lewis made me feel better about my condition and was willing to work with me. SHE ROCKS!

The staff here are so sweet and are great communicators (letting you know if the Dr. is behind schedule, what to expect during exams etc). Special thanks to nurse Jissel and Joseph PA for their TLC while I’m under the weather.

We moved to Tigard quite recently and haven’t finished making arrangements for a new PCP. I got sick and needed to be checked for whatever it was and I came to the Tigard AFC. As it happens I have needed to return for rechecks with this same issue and I have been cared for very well. The staff here are friendly, gentle and supportive. Without reservation, I would encourage everyone who needs help to come to this clinic.

I was having a very worrying set of symptoms, and went to this clinic to get checked out.The receptionists were quick and efficient. The registration process was via my phone and worked perfectly. The physician’s assistant who examined me was extremely friendly, professional, and competent. The facility was clean, modern, and attractive.In short, it was an excellent experience, and this will now be my preferred urgent care clinic.

Absolutely love, AFC. Super easy for WC to make an appt for next day, and as needed. Lots of availability, and they are super quick and easy with getting back you. In and out quickly!

The woman who brought me back and collected my UA and did my blood draw was amazing. Very kind, polite and friendly. Im not good with needles and she was super nice and gentle when doing my blood draw. I wish she worked at my regular doctors office, she made my appointment feel very comfortable.

The staff here are incredibly kind and understanding. I went for urgent care services (did have to wait a few hours but thats expected at urgent care) and the doctor who saw me made me feel so comfortable. I would definitely go back and recommend this place!

My wife who is African came to this location three times, two of the times I came with her and the nurse that took her back was rude with an undercurrent of racism. My wife had asked if its possible to skip the covid booster as she already had the two shots and the nurse rudely said we would need a lawyer with a written letter for that and it wouldnt work anyway? Uh? The doctors were very nice and polite with the second experience. Then the third time she came in that same nurse told my wife she has TB even though she had the paperwork saying it was negative from the x-ray of the second check up. My wife asked her if she had a problem with her and she rudely brushed it off saying people in Mexico normally have TB (even though my wife is black?) and test positive for it. It was a strange comment that left us uncomfortable and confused. She was unprofessional, rude and not helpful.

From check in to check out, it was the best urgent care experience. When I called for the appointment the woman who got me scheduled was so kind and considerate. Once I arrived, Brianna my nurse, took my vitals/history and was very personable and thoughtful. Steven Shockley my PA was informative and kind, he spent time explaining things to look for as well as have a genuine conversation with me. Not that I want to frequent an urgent care, but if I had to return to one, Id choose this place 1000 times over.

I loved my visit at Tigard afc. I had Joseph as my provider and he was very kind and actually cared to listen to what I had to say. Hailee took my xray and she was very kind and careful. Jissel was extremely helpful with her answers all my questions.

Came in for physical and drug screen. Danielle assisted me for the drug screen and subsequent workout/vision/hearing tests. She was very professional and made me feel comfortable throughout the process. The front desk ladys were all very professional and polite. My doctor with the tattoo sleeves was also great. All around great visit.

Ive havent had many std scares in my life but when I did I always went to these guys. Their staff is very friendly and communicative. They have terrific customer service and have always done a fantastic job so I highly recommend to anyone needing std testing or other medical assistance. Also a thank you to Michael I have had the most interactions with him specifically when I go in for appointments and its always a pleasure.

We had an excellent experience with Dori P.A., Danelle and Kenzie. Although the wait was long, it was worth it. These ladies were all very patient and approachable. We felt they listened to our concerns and showed genuine care and compassion. They made a great team together especially on a Sunday when staffing was likely low. We felt supported and cared for and left feeling a sense of relief. Thank you.

I had major pain with my sciatica lower back and buttocks. My lovely Dr.lewis helped me walk with very minimum pain. If you’re in any pain or have any injuries please come see Dr Lewis she is very kind and will help you get through this.I’m a 300 lb x football player just needed help getting back on my feet.Thanks you

Brought my daughter in here for the first time. They got us in right away. Tiffany and Daphne up front were very nice. My daughter was very nervous and Michael helped calm her down. The Doctor was great as well. I recommend this place if you need an urgent care.

The staff at AFC is absolutely amazing!!!!! The medical assistant and Dr Lewis i just love and adore!! They are very educated and waste no time to find out what’s wrong with u and address the situation immediately!! With lots of love caring and understanding. I’ even choose them to be my primary care. Brought my 3yr old and 5yr old to AFC urgent care and we had a great experience. Michael was so kind and helpful on the phone and he also checked us in when we got there. He is great with kids, which made our experience even better. Kim at the front desk was also a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this facility.

Sure the staff are nice but they all have no idea what is going on with their patients. Multiple phone calls and speaking with multiple people later, made me realize there is a large problem with the management here. They do not train their front desk staff on policy or lab test protocol, they do not train ANY of their staff to communicate with each other about patients. They also lie to you about lab results. Dont waste your time here, they dont know what they are doing. And yall deserve better management and training! Please advocate for it.

Ive had a great experience at AFC urgent care. I mostly always see Dr Sue Lewis as she is my Primary care Dr. Ive been seeing her for over 20 years shes a very kind and caring Dr.If she cant help you shes great at finding the referral that you need to see another doctor dont hesitate to schedule an appointment with Dr Lewis

I thought the doctor was really great. She explained everything in detail and actually took the time to sit with me and talk about medication shes going to prescribe to me. Didnt seem like she was in a hurry like a lot of doctors are

I really appreciate the kindness, and the comfort that the staff provides me when I come in. I dont feel uncomfortable even about some what embarrassing, ailments. I feel like honesty is given with a compassionate touch.I also feel very encouraged when I leave there.

The staff here at the Tigard AFC is amazing , from the time we stepped in Daphne who was at the front desk was very courteous and professional, she was pretty much prepared for our appointment and had all the paper work ready to sign, and the our medical staff, Danelle & Dr. Rana were amazing and super friendly, asked a lot of questions to ensure all our concerns were addressed and took the time to explain everything step by step so we walked out with clear information.Definitely a great experience

Thank you for getting me in and treating me so quickly! This was the best experience Ive ever had at an Urgent Care. I had been in a lot of pain and not sleeping well because of it, and when I came in I was a mess. Michael made me feel I was instantly in good hands. He was comassionate, thorough and very knowledgeable. Dr. Baldwin knew exactly what to do to relieve the pain, and it was a huge relief to have a treatment plan in place when I left. All of my questions were answered, and the nurse who came in gave me a painless shot. All around an outstanding experience with everyone. Thank you for the exceptional care!

The excellence started days before my appointment with the time and empathy Daria offered me when I phoned in, helping sort through the ridiculous health care plan I have, coupled with the fact that I’m a new Oregonian (recently moved here). Thanks for the hand holding, Daria… and Amber!I had imaging done for a fracture (Megan is SUPERB!) and a review consult with a physician and medical assistant, both who were friendly, timely, practical, and engaged.The front desk reception exceeded any expectations I could have had! She provided clear communication on billing specific to my insurance plan, and even helped me find a PCP for ongoing care. I would give them 10 stars if possible! The staff was great. From the front desk, check in, nurses and doctor. Ive been to my share of doctors, urgent cares and ERs. It was so refreshing to actually be treated so well. The doctor really listened to our concerns and took the time to talk to us about how to help. Then actually helped us instead of just referring us to another doctor. I wish all clinics and hospitals had staff like this . They treated my daughter and I with compassion and respect. I had prepared my daughter for how it may go based off my years and years of experiences of being dismissed, gaslight, etc. When we left, I was in disbelief of how great everyone was. I told my daughter that we lucked out because it usually never goes like that. I will bring all my kids here ,and anyone who has had negative experiences with doctors should definitely go here. I wish I wouldve found this place years ago. Such amazing and caring people that work here. Highly recommend .

This was definitely a step above any urgent care experience I have ever had. The room I was placed in had calming ocean sounds and Juana was extremely attentive, caring and efficient. The wait to see the Dr was fairly short and I feel that my care was good. I would recommend this clinic.

This place is great.Check-in with Kimberly was smooth. She was training another person who was kind and professional.Triage with Michael was thorough and I enjoyed the conversation while he took my info. It was nice to laugh and feel relaxed at a Dr visit.

Excellent service. Services were fast, efficient and effective. Best urgent care I have ever been to. If I could give more stars than 5 I would give it. Dr. Rama, Juana and all the staff were great. We need more like them.

I had a wonderful experience at the AFC Urgent Care in Tigard. It’s fairly new and it was my first time here, but everyone was super kind and attentive. No urgency in this urgent care, messed up my appointment twice and then had to leave work early to wait over an hour and a half after my appointment time fir the doctor to listen to me inhale and exhale 4 times. Literally could have been done in the waiting room in essentially no time only reason for 2 stars is the people working were nice

Our entire visit was positive. The receptionist was kind and the entire staff was genuinely concerned. We never felt rushed even though our treatment went past closing time. Our PA was quite skilled. The staff worked together and respected each other.

Came in because my child had strep. The paperwork was easy to fill out. We were seen in a timely manner. Both Juana and Dr. Rana were extremely nice, professional and great with my child. Everything was well explained and all my questions answered.

I have gone to a lot of different AFC’s this one has been the best by far. Dr. Rana is very kind and informative on all questions asked. Danielle and Hailee are caring and helpful towards the patients. They all make you feel welcomed and the front desk receptionist are always kind and willing to help. Had abdominal pain and the doctors took great care of me. They took me seriously and did the works which I feel like is hard to come by in Oregon healthcare. Hailee was amazing when drawing my blood, she was quick and efficient. She brought me juice and pretzels and even gave my husband some to make his day while he supported me. Overall quick, kind, and helpful experience.

Sprained ankle. Was seen promptly by helpful and sympathetic staff. Danelle and Steven were super friendly, got me x rayed quickly and provided crutches and ankle support with good advice on healing. More personable than other urgent care places Ive been to.

I picked AFC Tigard for my purpose because they picked up the phone, even though they arent necessarily close to my house. The facility is nice and clean and bigger than you would think walking into the lobby. The people behind the front desk are nice and the people in the back are good at what they do and worked to help us accomplish our goal. Getting appointment was easy, questions before the appointment were answered on the phone, and the registration forms etc. were all online and convenient, and the system sent reminders to make sure we completed before we got there.

I had fallen a couple of days ago. This morning it hurt more. I thought I might try AFC. The receptionist asked if I wanted to use my phone to register or a tablet? Why should I have to use MY phone for their convenience? I thought the tablet would be the least trouble. It took the receptionist a while to get a tablet. Then she spent a couple of minutes poking around on her terminal told me she was locked out of the system. A couple of minutes later she said she was looking for a password.Registering was more painful than the level 7 pain from my shoulder. Whatever happened to pencil and paper?If their front office is this disorganized I have doubts about the competency of their medical staff.

Dr. Sue Lewis has always taken excellent care of me with multiple health issues Ive experienced. She is very knowledgeable and listens to the patient which is rare now. Tiffany is always helpful and very nice and efficient to get my RXs placed or setting up an appointment. They provide great care!

Tafany, Hailee, and Daphnee were all super nice and helpful during my intake and while I had testing done. Michael my nurse was incredibly cordial and did everything to reassure me. I meet alot of medical staff and they are by far the best :)

From front desk (Marine) to our nurses (Michael and a lady with dark hair), doctors (Dr Vandana and Dr Luis), everyone was very helpful and really had the best interest of patients at heart. Dr. Rana provided five-star healthcare today along with her staff. Walking in was simple, just waited a few minutes after some initial questions. It was really nice to get urgent care that is kind & professional along with friendly staff.

APC Tigard knocks it out of the park. Every time better than last. Today Dr.Rana made referrals for me and provided a medication update. Thorough, caring, very pleasant but professional. Briana assisting, also nice and helpful.

Dr. Reyna and her very compassionate PA Danelle are amazing professionals. Dr Reyna takes the time to listen to all of your concerns offering in formative solutions. Danelle is extremely caring and has a wonderful bedside manner. She takes the time to make sure youre comfortable and informed of any in office procedures that she will be performing on behalf of Dr. Reyna. I highly recommend these two amazing women.

Excellent service! I waited for around only 10 minutes for my Annual Wellness Exam. Dr Baldwin and nurse Briana were very courteous and professional. Dr Baldwin checked me, ordered the Labs, and also made referral for repeat colonoscopy. Briana performed my blood draw quickly and successfully even though my veins are less visible (so-called a difficult stick) and many nurses could not locate a vein for my blood draw. I‘ll definitely come back here for my next Annual Wellness Exam.

The nurse Eloísa I believe her name was, and of course PA-C Steven Shockley were very professional and compassionate. They took excellent care of my dad and myself. Definitely recommend if you need to see a doctor and be taken care of.

Stopped in for a quick appointment to check on a minor injury. Very pleased by the customer service provided by Juana, and the treatment provided by Giancarlo and Dr. Lewis. Clean and comfortable environment. Only 4 stars because I made an appointment and arrived 10 minutes early, but was not seen until thirty minutes past my appointment time (not that bad for an urgent care though, tbh). Overall good experience though, and I would recommend!

Before I’m judged, I’m a psychology student in my senior year at university with two prior spinal surgeries under my belt and I suffer from degenerative disc disease. I came in to AFC for an appointment that I was told to make by my neurosurgeon because he couldn’t see me for two weeks and my pre-surgical neck pain has intensified. I was advised to STOP taking the exorbitant amounts of Tylenol and ibuprofen for my pain, and to go to urgent care to see if they could help me as my surgeon doesn’t prescribe for pain prior to surgery (per policy). Vendana Rana spoke to me for all of five minutes whilst treating me as if I were just there faking my issue, despite MRI results backing up everything I was saying. I explained to her that I was advised not to take anymore Tylenol and ibuprofen for my pain as I was maxed out on the dosage and it was causing stomach problems, and then she literally left the room and wrote me a prescription for a medication that contained ibuprofen. When I told the front desk about it after I noticed, the doctor apparently said that I should “take it anyway because it’s a small dose,” but that ignores entirely the quantity of ibuprofen I’d already taken and the fact that I was otherwise instructed to stop taking it altogether. I’m beside myself right now. And still in massive pain. I obviously just left the prescription with them as I couldn’t take it anyway, and there were no efforts on their part to rectify the situation or care about it in any way, shape, or form. Most pointless appointment I’ve ever had in my whole life. With doctors like that, who needs doctors? I could have just beat my head upside the wall outside because that’s how I felt after all the strain and pain I went through just to get myself to that appointment - only to be treated like garbage and sent away in worse shape than I was in when I arrived.

AFC Urgent Care in Tigard, Oregon gets 5 stars!Everyone was great.Danelle gave me a Jolly Rancher to distract me from the blood draw. (I hate needles). I barely felt the needle, at all. She was professional, kind and I could tell that she was actually concerned about my health and wellbeing, as opposed to me just being another patient to get in and out the door.The PA, Dori McDonald, was the same.She sat down and actually listened to what I had to say. She did not make me feel rushed, as if to meet some patient quota. She did a more thorough exam than I have had in a long time!I knew that she would find out what was causing my symptoms and when she did, she explained them in an easy to understand way.Two other things that I liked were the ocean sound machine in the exam room and the payment explanation sheet. (It was the best I have ever seen).The only thing that I would change, is when registering on the website, remove the phrasing stating that the paperwork must be filled out to keep your appointment. (You can come in early and get copies of your license/insurance card and finish the forms, if you are having trouble getting the photos of the cards onto the website).I was very impressed with this Tigard clinic and I will be sharing this with friends/family.Keep up the great work!!!

UPDATE: I am on my third visit to this urgent care in 6 months and I specifically go here because the staff is phenomenal. THEY LISTEN. They care! Dr. Lewis is incredible and shout out to Jissell (if I spelled this wrong I’m so sorry but I know it was a J). There is no other urgent care I’d rather go to and I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again— I wish this was my primary care team. THANK YOU for all that you do AFC Tigard❤️Michael, Daphne and Kim got me checked in and evaluated super quickly and were so kind! Michael even offered to get me a cup of water while I waited for the doctor, This was the quickest and easiest urgent care visit I’ve ever had and I truly appreciate it because usually my visits to UC cause a headache on top of whatever I’m dealing with. The provider very knowlable and proffesional. This place I recommend if you need a urgent care treatment.

Everyone here was great to me not too long of a wait to get seen. Briana was the person to draw my blood i let her know that needles terrify me and she calmed me down. She told me she’d be in and out and would only poke me once. This was the best experience I’ve personally had getting my blood drawn. If I ever need it drawn again I’ll definitely be asking for her.

**she had moderate hydronephrosis the whole time, probably not just uti but kidney infection too judging from her symptoms and they could have used their own imaging at either of her 2 in person appointment and checked and discovered this.. but they didnt. I think its because we are women. They treated me like i was unreasonable or somehow doing something wrong and all I wanted was to get my family member better. I was in pretty bad stress by this time but they should be able to recognize a concerned mother versus whatever they thought I was.Brought my family member in because they had uti symptoms and extreme flank pain shooting up their back and we told them this. They said they would culture urine for uti. They said they couldnt give her antibiotics until the culture came back.. Calling and calling no results still a week later. So I brought them back in. They said they never did send the sample for culture. Then they said they did. I asked them to call with results. Days later they said she had to have another appointment to give results. All the appointment was, was them saying it was negative. I asked to have test results printed and left at front desk. We went back to get them and the front desk woman wouldnt give them to us. I had to video record her on my phone while I repeatedly asked for them. The results dont look like any other test results she ever had and I doubt they ever sent it. But if they did it could have been timely. When I was there and gave them medical records during appointment, they also scanned in a hand written note to myself that was on the back of one of the pages that was in no way a medical record and I think thats illegal. Because I had told them it wasnt for them it was a reminder I had quickly jotted down for myself.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Being able to fill out my paperwork on my phone was also a pleasant experience. Im not a fan of filling out a ton of paperwork with a pen or pencil.

Mixed on this place. They seem to want to perform a lot of unnecessary expensive tests that you will likely only find out about once you get the bill. On the bright side, the PA I saw was nice and I did get antibiotics for the pink I got from my kid who had just started daycare. If you have to go and are going for anything infectious, definitely ask the provider you see why they want to do any testing, what specifically is being tested for and what symptoms/diseases those bugs cause, and what information would be gained by the results of the tests.

I needed a DOT Physical exam for employment. Other places in town had long waits. AFC Urgent Care Tigard was able to get me in same day. The staff was so pleasant, kind and understanding. I have healthcare anxiety and was nervous for the appointment. Both the medical assistant Briana and Dr Sue Lewis were just the type of healthcare providers I needed. I greatly appreciate them for listening to my concerns and moving slowly during the appointment. I highly recommend this location for your DOT Physical Exam.

I went in on a Sunday morning with a broken foot. I was able to upload my Insurance info and book an early appointment easily the evening before I was seen on time they were able to take X-rays on-site which they provided to me. Both staff members were very capable and so empathetic and kind. PA Anantha Jujjuri is a delight and so professional and Much appreciated

They are very fast and very efficient. The staff is super nice and they accommodate you very well. I didn’t wait long at all. I will definitely be coming back for all of my health concerns. Michael was the absolute best! Also the place is VERY clean.

The doctor that saw me was excellent at assessing my problems and trying to help me overall. The front desk lady was kind and polite. The people in between the front desk and seeing the actual doctor do not give an F-word about health care. I made the first appointment available for the day and it still took 40 minutes to get past the front desk. I sat in the room for an hour and half waiting for the staff to do something, anything but they take forever and I can hear them doing F-word all. I understand your jobs take time. But there are other health care places that help you get in and out without unnecessary waiting. This staff, besides the doctor and front desk take their time and dont care how many hours you wait. Also some other random doctor just walks in and doesnt know where she is at. Then walks in the next room and asks that person if they are me. F-word man

Briana is great. I had to go in and was embarrassed but she was super reassuring and helpful. She and the doctor helped me figure out what was going on pretty quickly, within an hour. Definitely recommend!

We had an employee that had an on the job injury. The Tigard location closes for an hour for employee meetings. It was after 1 pm and they still took our employee in and made him comfortable and helped with the issue. The doctor that took care of him was outstanding. Our employee is well thanks to AFC! Thank you. Great care and help, outstanding.

AFC has always been amazing to work with. I needed a rapid and PCR test done and both were provided with extreme speed, and I was given ample time to talk to a doctor about the various questions I had. The new location is incredibly convenient, and I was not forced to stand in a line like others are having to do at hospitals for testing. I just waited in my car and was attended to quickly.These are locally owned and operated, which is even better. Support local!

Came in to take care of some throat trauma that my dentists assistant had caused to the back of my throat jabbing me with the suctioning tube. It got infected (creating a ulcer) and i was in some serious pain and discomfort. (Not having insurance) i was very worried of the cost and being made aware of all fees and what cost would be before moving forward.The front desk lady was very kind,sympathetic and understanding. Told me all fees and costs upfront and told me they would inform me of any extra fees or costs before moving forward. Everyone in the building was super kind, very helpful and easy to work with. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience in a time of high stress and major discomfort.

My son came in with Covid symptoms and wasn’t feeling well at all. Tiffany was very kind to him and gave him a sticker it cheered him up a bit but she was amazing!! The doctors were nice also!

I went to AFC Urgent Care Tigard for a Workers comp injury. They are by far the best service in the Portland Metro area. Ive been to others services in the area that make you wait for several hours, even with an appointment. I was in and out in less than an hour at AFC. Very friendly & professional staff!
