NextCare Urgent Care Plano West

Able to book same day on Sunday 8/18/24 @ 12 PM no issues with check-in. the front desk lady was so nice too and gave me a cup of water for my 2 year old after I asked if there was any water. appreciate her so much! (didn’t get her name but she was a black woman who had short (?) hair). the man who took her vitals was also very sweet. the nurse practitioner (she said PA I think? I also don’t remember her name but she was the white lady with long,  curly hair) was the best person I have ever had the pleasure of seeing. went out of her way to make sure my child was comfortable and happy. I really really appreciated her. my child is usually not comfortable around strangers but she made her time there such a good experience. my child was so comfortable and open around her. she was also very knowledgable and gave me lot of helpful advice and tips. honestly, everyone on that day made this trip such a memorable and great experience. please give them the praise and recognition that they deserve.

Every time I come here I am so impressed with the nurse practitioner! She is a wonderful provider (Evelyn). Very knowledgeable, excellent bedside manner, helps get to the root of the problem. Will definitely return again and again for urgent care needs as long as she is here.

My PA was terrific! She had such a positive uplifting attitude I really appreciated it. I found I have Covid and was a bit depressed. She cheered me up. My appt was seamless. I booked and checked in online. Receptionist was friendly and nice as well. Very positive.

Scheduled an appointment online and was able to get in quickly.  Barely any wait time!Meg and the other staff were friendly and knowledgeable.  Did a strep and Covid test (both negative).  But recommendations were made.  Quick and efficient!  Great place.  Thank you

I came here after going to another urgent care that just suggested over the counter items because they’re afraid of people who are breastfeeding. I was SO THANKFUL that the provider here listened to my concerns and prescribed things that are safe to take while breastfeeding and that helped me feel better so quickly. They were quick and efficient, highly recommend.

Thanks to the staff this morning.  From the front desk to the nurse to the doctor; all three ladies were exceptional.  All were friendly, patient and kind; it was refreshing to visit a well run clinic.

Reception was helpful and friendly, lobby was clean. Wait time was extremely long (over an hour, midday Tuesday & I had an appointment). I was told numerous times thank you for being patient. They are possibly short-staffed? As I know several medical facilities are post-COVID. The tech taking vitals was very rushed / hurried. The PA seemed very tired and like she didn’t want to be there. She spent less than 3 min in the room with me. Overall, not too impressed with the treatment side of this facility.

I recently went to this location to get treatment with some stomach issues, fever, body aches and chest I told the doctor lady had been taking Tylenol to control the fever and body and abdominal pain but she couldn’t figure out what was the issue so she prescribed me 3 different Antacid tablets, and took urinal samples… The medication it helps some but high fever and body and chest pain won’t go away… this place charge me over $200 something that I didn’t until I got home check my bank and I got changed $215 for the visit. I was very surprised and disappointed of the experience.That’s the reason that I won’t recommend this place is a total ripoff.Today I went to care now I only spend $30 buck the place that I always go to get treatment the doctor was shocked because according to the symptoms it looked that I had pneumonia, they run an x ray and blood work and got the results immediately the doctor told me if I had waited little longer I could ended up in the hospital. The doctor immediately gave me a shot, prescribed some antibiotics. I started feeling better in less than 20 minutes.

Scheduling was pretty very easy. The receptionists and the staff were nice as well. Wait time was too long when there was no other patients.But the doctor was the MOST UNPROFESSIONAL provider. He literally spend 2 minute in the room. Even my 12 year old daughter said that this doctor is not good, he just came in and left. I wanted to ask him questions and he just didn’t stay long enough for me to ask any thing. Both me and my daughter felt very degraded, as if this guy has no Bedside manners at all.We have been to the location many times for the urgent medical care. We never experienced this before that provider is in such a hurry and not even spend 5 minutes with the patient. We saw him for the first time. But I definitely DO NOT  want to see this doctor again. He shouldn’t be working in healthcare field. In fact he should be working for fast food restaurant where they expect you to deal with customers for 1-2 minutes.He was a HORRIBLE DOCTOR with BAD ATTITUDE and Bad Care.We are very disappointed!!!We will NEVER recommend this provider.

Ripoff warning! $260 to get wife’s ankle xray. Also the xray images on their CD were proprietary and couldn’t be opened properly by ortho clinic they referred us to, so the ortho had to xray AGAIN. Lastly they didn’t have crutches in her size. Ripoff!REPLY TO COMPANY:The ortho urgent care company (that your nurse referred us to) only charged $180. They felt the boot from your company was too short. Also your clinic had very 2nd rate feel. This unprofessional experience will likely warrant complaint to state regulatory agencies.

NextCare has one of the best medical assistant personnel I have seen in Plano. I was in and out and they took care of my ear ache quickly. I Highly recommend this medical facility

Front desk lady is phenomenal! Kind, helpful, friendly.Beyond that… my 17 yr old daughter went in for a sports physical and was accused of being pregnant by the intake girl when she learned she didn’t have a regular cycle. Even questioned her on it multiple times as though she knew something about her body that my daughter didn’t know about herself. Time to learn that bedside manner and boundaries and respect come before your own twisted logic esp when you’re in the medical field and there’s multiple reasons to not be regular.Caution to mom’s: don’t let even your almost adult daughter get weighed and confirmed by intake without you by her side to protect her.Needless to say, we won’t ever return to this location.

I was so excited that I could get in and get an appointment really fast. The physician assistant that saw me was very thorough, knowledgeable, and had great bedside manners. It was a five star appointment.

I should have listened to the reviews online. I had an appointment and then I waited two hours just to go back in the room. I was there for almost 3 hours total.. I went in for an ear ache. The dr. was good. However, the rest of the staff act like they’re doing something else and it’s crazy, but they don’t attend to their patients it seems like they don’t want to have any patients and that they purposely try to slow things down and keep people waiting, as if customers are the last thing they want to deal with. I just don’t understand it.

The receptionist at this facility was a joke. She was not capable of putting my number or name in the system therefore when I corrected her a few times she immediately grew an attitude with me. So silly. She did not know how to read my benefits correctly. And wanted to pursue my deductible when it clearly states I have a $40 co-pay on my card for an urgent care to which they are listed as an urgent care of my Cigna app and I even verified with the receptionist. When I asked her to call my insurance to verify she simply said, “no I will not”. The facility was empty and she did not seem to have any work done hindering her from doing this to verify. She was simply lazy and rude, making for a poor experience at this urgent care. Such a shame.

Everyone was really great and helpful. The MA was kind and thorough. The PA was very good and made me feel comfortable and supported.

I have been overcharged for a copay and have requested a resolution. Despite my efforts, I continue to receive bills for an amount I have already paid. This issue has been ongoing for four months, and I would like it to be addressed promptly.[6/4]Thanks for the reply. Staff very friendly and helpful. Timely appointment. Provider listened to me and took the time to explain why the specific antibiotic was chosen for my diagnosis.

We needed a quick ear flush for my husband in advance of a hearing test. NextCare, 5067 W. Plano Pkwy, Plano, had an appointment open the next morning. Quick and easy to find. In and out in under an hour. From Crystal to Evelyne, NP, to Nissy, super staff and provider.

Very short wait. Everyone was friendly. PA was very good at assessment and I was out in less than 20 minutes. Would highly recommend and go back if needed.

I presented with symptoms of being feverish, feeling foggy and experiencing blurry vision. The nurse practitioner Evelyne Imah was less than helpful. She argued with me about my fever symptoms, claiming that if I had a fever I would have it all the time, not just at night, despite taking Tylenol during the day. She also questioned my ability to use a thermometer. After finding green discharge in my nose, she still continued to act like I was a hypochondriac, and basically told me nothing was wrong, even advising me to stop taking Tylenol. I was given discharge paperwork, NONE of which she reviewed with me. The paperwork showed that apparently she diagnosed me with a viral infection that she never mentioned to me, and it also stated that I was to keep taking Tylenol as well as other over the counter meds, also contradicting what she told me. I don’t know where this person received her credentials but she has no business dispensing medical advice. Extremely unprofessional and unhelpful.

I was in a lot of pain coming in and just all over the place. I really appreciated all of the staff and how much they helped me and how understanding they were. Very sweet staff! So thankful for u guys!

Always a good experience here but the front desk worker always answer the phone in the worst mood ever. And when she can’t help she will Transfer you to a voice mail and forward every call afterwards.

I had an extremely great experience at the clinic from the front staff to back staff as well as the amazing provided. I came in freaking out and sad about an emergency that has happened to me. I was welcomed by Belinda which put me straight at ease. Courtney was amazing as well. But Evelyne was extraordinary provider she truly is a carer in every possible way.

I recommend Urgent Care Plano, Texas. I had a fantastic experience. I had no problems only great people, great doctor and great and friendly service.

It was great to have a doctor address my concerns and prescribed what my daughter needed. It would of been a 5 star if I knew all appointments were booked and were accepting walk ins. The lady that answered the calls only told me to come as a walk in.

My visit was excellent. Very attentive staff, thorough assessment, and very low wait time.

Not at all happy. I wasnt informed that there was no doctor available. I paid $50 to see a nurse who prescribed a medication that didnt exist. Its a waste of time, money, and now Im waiting for my doctors appointment this Monday after a weekend of pain.

Inaccurate and miscommunication with walk-ins going ahead of web checks getting priority.Also, technical issues with payment and was told I would be billed.

Nice staff. Nurse was great. Doctor did a sloppy job with my stitches (before) I left the facility. He had to redo them. I also had to ask to have the dried blood cleaned from my finger hand before I left. I think they are probably better suited for flus, Covid, etc.

Do NOT use Next Care! They charge a LOT more than their website says, they do not have real doctors and if you have any concerns about the HUGE bill you will receive, you will NOT be able to get in touch with anyone to resolve your BILL! Do NOT use NEXT CARE!

Staff is nice, knowledgeable, and the place is clean. NextCare charges at the end of the visit. My bill was unjustifiably high. Texas Health Breeze Urgent Care tells you how much youll pay up front. Ill stick with Breeze.

They were very helpful and got me diagnosed very promptly.I didn’t have to wait long to he seen.

Nikki the nurse was very kind and nice. She explained the swabs and she was very gentle. She also gave my wife and I a shot and it didn’t hurt at all. Had my first visit to NextCare today for stitches in my hand thanks to a hedge trimmer incident. Checked in on the app and only waited a few minutes. Waiting area clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly and fast. Misty and Dr. Duong took great care of me. Will use this urgent care center again!

All employees were very welcoming and efficient. Jennifer at the front desk took care of my admission, Nicole took my vitals, and Evelyn reviewed my symptoms and prescribed the necessary meds to get me back on track. They all were sooooo nice. This location is a bit farther from my home but it will be my new location for any future visits as well as me recommending to others.

Short wait for a walk in! Intake was very efficient and helpful explaining the questions. Dr. Duong took his time to assess my situation and recommend treatment! I felt relieved that I chose next care.

This clinic is my absolute favorite. I’m always suffering from sinus infections and allergies and get sick easily so this is my go to spot for my medical needs. The staff is always friendly!! Nikki is the best.. always so nice and happy and makes getting injections painless and quick! the NP Evelyne is amazing and is always so attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. I have never had to wait longer than 10 min in the waiting area which is amazing because my regular doctor always has me waiting 40 plus minutes to be seen. I recommend this place 150/100!

Booked this appointment the day of and was seen right on time. Check-in process was quick and efficient. Most importantly, nurse Nicky doctor Evelyn were warm and friendly and found a solution to my problem quickly. I will definitely be back here for minor emergency needs!

I’ve used nextcare multiples time first at this location! Never again worst experience waited over a hour for a scheduled appointment! Just to be told they will only look at one thing per visit to come back in a few days to get something checked they won’t treat me for two things at once when the other next care has multiple times!!

Went to the one at 5076 Plano pkwy, having had previous good visits with one in Richardson. Nightmare! Came early for my 9 am appt and waited until 940 without seeing a dr. Was told he was on a telehealth call that was taking longer than expected, but as I understand it, telehealth calls are scheduled just like in office visits. I left and asked for my money back and was then “sassed” by the receptionist, disputing how long I had been waiting. I did like the nurse though.

I have been coughing and sneezing for 3-4 days & thought it was time to go see a doctor.   I have an upper respiratory infection so I was happy to go.    My wait time & seeing a doctor was 35 minutes total.

I’m very impressed and will definitely come back. All the staff were extremely thorough and kind and the Dr. Bearden was very thorough and knowledgeable. The nurse I saw was extremely kind and helpful, and the front desk staff was also very kind and brought me water. I came in after 4 days of food poisoning feeling awful and left with a plan and am already feeling better with the meds. Will definitely return and appreciate all the kind people who helped me today.

It was a bit slow going but worth the wait. The medical care was superlative!

Doctor spent ONE minute with me. Assistant who took my vitals and information was rude. No BSM at this clinic at all. Except for the receptionist at the front desk was pleasant.

I’ve been here a few times for me and my kids and overall a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and we didn’t have to wait more than 20 minutes to get seen. Front desk, nurses, and doctors were all great.

Worst place I’ve ever been. Went in for a Sports Physical and the Dr. said my daughter had scoliosis. She just had her full physical with her pediatrician who did not concur with this at all. Very dangerous and liable situation. Paid the full fee for the visit and now getting billed for the same amount. Tried to contact billing several times and no one answers the phone. I would avoid this location/company.

This is the WORST urgent care. I took my daughter (1yo) here yesterday and the doctor barely looked at her. He said she probably has a virus and sent her home with nothing. Well, I took her to her pediatrician today and she actually has double ear infections, hand foot and mouth, and a yeast infection. All of which I explained her symptoms to the doctor. I told him she has sores in her mouth, high fever, and showed him the rash. There were no other patients in the office at the time so this was sloppy work. I dont know where this “doctor” got his license but I could find some random person on the street that would do better at his job than he is. The nurse was very nice though.

I dropped in to NextCare this afternoon. Got right in. All the ladies were so very nice, attentive, professional and caring. Went another place before them ...not so much. I have bronchitis and know what I have...they focused on confirmation and giving me treatment for relief..so happy I went in and know I will be better in a couple of days!! Thank you all so much! M

I would recommend NextCare in West Plano. The staff was super nice including the front Desk, Dina C. (awesome), back staff Misty and the provider FNP Evelyn Imah. From check in to check out was a pleasant experience and I would definitely go back.

This is the best urgent care ever! I went in with symptoms and they were able to immediately rule out a few things, gave me a shot and, prescribed me medication. Now I can feel confident going back to work tomorrow knowing that I’m not contagious. On top of that, I’m already feeling better literally an hour after my appointment!

First rate experience from Zaria at the front with scheduling and check out, Courtney checking me in, and Dr. Duong. All were knowledgeable, considerate, and offered excellent care! Thank you for excellent customer care.

Another fantastic visit with efficient staff. I went for a COVID-19 test and was handled professionally and with care. Though I turned out negative the doctor took the time to talk through my symptoms and when they started and made recommendations. I left there feeling heard, seen and treated. I love this place know that if I am sick again Next Care Urgent Care is the place to go. Highly recommend.

Great super service. From the start to the end!! The medical assistant I had was by far the best medical assistant Ive ever had. She took care of me and my son from start to finish faster than any assistant I had on just myself. Phenomenal!! I hope I dont have to come back (I dont want to be sick) but if I do I will come here!!

I came to this location from my usual location because I needed an x-ray. All of the staff was helpful, professional, and friendly. I interacted with Missie up front, Courtney for my vitals and x-ray, and Scott for my exam. I left feeling well taken care of and well informed of my diagnosis and treatment. I will be recommending NextCare and this location especially.Thanks yall!

So pleased with my visit to NextCare! I had an infected blister that made my foot swell up so I was very nervous about visiting, but the lady at the front desk, Missie, is very kind & welcoming which made me feel less anxious. She also did a great job of explaining the benefits of their temporary insurance (& even reminded me when I left!) which was incredibly helpful for me. The doc & staff are great - clear explanations, efficient care, & a great bedside manner. Nikki gave me my shot & dressed my wound & kept me distracted & entertained so I wasnt fixated on the situation. Dr Imah was also very kind & ensured I understood what I need to do for the aftercare. While there was a bit of waiting (which I expected!), all in all, I was *very* happy with my visit to NextCare & would readily go again. Thanks so much to the staff for taking care of me & not letting me get too freaked out about my creepy foot!

Stay Away!Thoroughly frustrating at every step of the way. Filthy entry and sitting area. People in waiting room walking bare feet inside, outside, back to the patient area of the clinic. Waited for nearly an hour after my scheduled appointment was frustrating. Seeing walk in patients with no urgency being called ahead of people with scheduled appointments was aggravating. The reasons provided by the staff were infuriating.Cherry on top . . . They said no payment necessary if receiving a COVID test. They didnt apply my insurance to my bill. They applied insurance to my wifes, but still sent her a bill. My hundreds of dollars cant be corrected because no one picks up the billing phone number. Waited on hold multiple times for 30 minutes or longer, only to be routed and disconnected. Staff at the clinic cant fix it. How do they stay in business?Edit in response to the comment from the clinic manager: In reviewing your bill, it was applied to your deductible.This is not fact. There was no filing with the insurance. My well-known, big name insurance provider has no record of this interaction for my visit.

On 1/18/23 (might’ve been a couple days before honestly) i visited at night to get either a pelvic exam or a uti test. the sign in process went smoothly and so did everything else. when they needed to do the exam, no comfort was offered as i had stated that i am a survivor of S/A+r*pe. the male doctor seeing me offered no consolation or any sort of solution that would have gotten me seen+treated in a timely manner. a nurse sort of held me down whilst also holding my hand and trying to comfort me (which i appreciated) and due to my situation with my mom + how scared i was, i was unable to speak up about how scared i felt . looking back, the male doctor’s exam was done very callously and his fingers inside of me felt like i was being assaulted again. he acted as if i should just be silent and take it. i was also underage at the time of this happening. i was made to feel like my comfort didn’t matter and that my feelings were invalid. i probably have the discharge papers somewhere and i may come back to edit and put his name here; however i am too tired to do so now. women, (especially mothers thinking about bringing their daughters here) you are better off going to metrocare or trying to find a gyno in network. please stay away from this place. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU.

Everyone was so kind, professional and caring. Nikki was the best at drawing blood and giving the shot, so painless! And explained things as we went along. The X-ray technician was superb as well. The doctor took her time and was very thorough. Highly recommend.

Aside from the almost two hour wait, the staff was very pleasant and I felt it was worth the wait. Everyone from the woman at the front desk, the nurse and the doctor were all very kind to me and my daughter. When you go in, you signed in online and had a real time view of your place in line and how many people were in front of you which I thought made waiting a little easier. Again, no gripes other than the long wait time but I’m sure it’s Covid related as most offices are short staffed these days so I don’t hold it against them.

Nice atmosphere. All the staff were helpful and courteous. Got my tests and results done in just a few minutes.

My visit went exceptionally well they were helpful from beginning to end.Jennifer, Nikki, and Elevyn all made me feel comfortable. I was a walk in patient and everything was done in less than 30 minutes.

Worst Experience!!! The Dr & staff were rude. Left my mom in the room for half an hour (the place was empty) and after my mom left the room and asked where the doctor went, the staff gave her an attitude. The dr did not bother to explain my moms diagnosis and when my mom asked questions the dr didn’t want to explain and seemed to just want her out of there. The lack of care was terrible. Never going back.

I scheduled my appt online at 8:00 in the morning for 9:40 am. I went to the clinic early. There was no wait time. The front staff got me in and registered in less than 10 minutes sue to me completing the documents online. The nurse Dolores got me triaged in about 10 minutes. She was very kind and nurturing. The provider quickly got me evaluated and treated. This was the best experience for urgent care since I was not able to get to my primary care provider. Thank you Nextcare!!!

Very helpful doctor - both kind and knowledgeable! However I was there for 3 hours because they were way understaffed. I’d recommend them but you should make an appointment (I was a drop in).

I made an appointment for 2:30PM and I am still sitting here in the lobby two hours later waiting to be taken back. So far, two people who arrived after me have gone back. What is the point of having the option to make an appointment if it will not be honored? Poorly organized, no urgency/respect for appointment times, and lack luster care.I only come here for insurance reasons, if I could avoid this place like the plague forever, I would.

This is the first time Ive been here. And, I would without a doubt recommend this place to others. We were in and out. Staff was very welcoming. Got an appointment for like 2o minutes from my call placed.

First time visit. Intake was easy and all staff were very pleasant. I was seen right away, in and out in less than hour. I will definitely be coming back the next time I need an urgent care.

Horrible experience. My sister came in with chest pains and checked in when we arrived. The staff allowed everyone else see the doctor before my sister, despite her condition and we were the last in the waiting room. After they finally let her in after I spoke to the front desk receptionist several times, the nurse had an attitude while taking her vitals and did not seem to care at all. The doctor ran some tests and told us to visit a hospital. We went to the hospital and the staff FAILED to give us the paperwork to give to the hospital despite assuring we had all the paperwork when we left. I had to drive back after admitting my sister to the hospital to pick it up, and there were absolutely zero apologies for their mistakes. Do NOT come here!

Wonderful service. The receptionist was great, nurse was great, and the Dr. Was great. I went about an hr to close and they were still so caring. Ill definitely be back if I need!

I was seen fairly quickly. Doctor was excellent and I was in and out within an hour. They sent my prescription to my pharmacy. I would recommend this urgent care.

I had a wonderful visit today. I was able to come right in, check in and get seen in less then a hour. They checked my vitals to ensure everything was in order, I even got my COVID results quickly. I really enjoyed my visit and if I need anything I will be returning to the location. Great service and wonderful staff from receptionist, nurse and Doctor. Thanks for your care today!

The receptionist was so sweet and very transparent about payment and worked with me having trouble with my copay. She did all she could to make sure I did not leave without treatment. Intake nurse was very quick and sweet, didn’t drag out the process at all. The doctor was so kind and understanding to my concerns. He was quick. Gave me direct eye contact and information. The whole process to treat my simple ailment was very smooth and once speedy. The office was clean. Kids area. Water to drink. And no one in the office coming for a visit seemed to wait more than 15 minutes to be seen. Online booking was easy to use and was a short process. I will go here again for any other urgent care needs! I had my 1.5 year old with me and they were very patient with us!! Highly recommend for fast and considerate care!

Made an appointment because I sprained my ankle. I was there for 2 hours. Saw the doctor at the beginning of the appointment when she ordered an X-Ray but that was the last time I saw her. The last person I saw was a nurse who came in to put on a ankle brace. She was actually nice but I still don’t know what I’m supposed to do about my ankle. I finally asked the nurse if it was broken and all she said was no. Finally just walked out after sitting in the room for 40mins while listening to the DOCTOR crack jokes the entire time. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. It’s not worth it.

I was the only person there first thing in the morning and it took them quite a while to get to me. If that wasnt bad enough they told me I was fine and would get over my symptoms in a few days. Only for my symptoms to grow worse and for me to test positive for COVID a few days later. They couldve at least told me that it was possible that, because my symptoms had just started, it could bring back a false negative, but I had to hear that from somewhere else.

Extremely dissatisfied with the front desk admin. She clearly does not understand how inappropriate, or embarrassing, it is to loudly accuse someone (with patients in the waiting room) that their issue is STD related. Upon trying to further explain the issue, she pushed for either STD testing or a physical, neither of which is the reason for coming in. Proper practice would be to consult with a medical personnel with experience before making assumptions on things not in your scope. She then rudely dismissed us and said “we don’t do that here” all while cutting tiny bits of paper and not giving proper attention to the patient. Please consider re-training staff members on patient care and how to appropriately address people who are in pain, sick, etc.

My experience at NextCare Urgent Care was great. Very professional and knowledgeable of the symptoms that I was experiencing.

Worst two experiences here. No words can explain how awful this NextCare is. The new owners are awful and their staff is unable to do much. X-ray machines always down or nobody to run them. They have sent us to their sister locations MULTIPLE times. It’s truly the worst. Save your money and go anywhere else!

**Changed my review from 2 to 3 stars after the practice manager called to speak to me about my experience. I appreciate him going the extra mile for good customer service** got the flu this season so I made an appointment here to go in and get checked out. Even though I had an appointment I still waited two hours. I know that it is flu season, but honestly it was not very busy. In the time I was sitting there approximately 4 patients went in and out...maybe they were short staffed? When I finally got called to the back the nurse taking care of me was not attentive to me and seemed very impatient. She put the blood pressure cuff on me so tight my arm went completely numb and was hurting. I am such a pushover I didnt say anything, not her fault I should I have said something, but I just twisted in discomfort. The thing that bugs me is the whole time this was happening the nurse was on her cell phone. The machine beeped which caught her attention just long enough to tell me that I was moving so it didnt get a good reading and it has to do it again so I should sit still. The doctor was pleasant. Just overall a bad experience.

Very caring and extremely nice staff. Didnt have to wait long either. I would certainly recommend coming here for your urgent health need.

My appointment was at 6 i wasn’t seen till maybe 8. They brought me to a room and i sat till 9. Im so hungry lol. The staff was nice. Doesn’t seem like there is enough staff. I was very annoyed. Other patients in the waiting were not happy as well.

NectCare was running very late on my appt. However, the care I received was very good. I was very impressed with the PA’s (Scott) knowledge about my problem and the treatment options. He offered one medication that has not been offered to me before.

Everyone was kind and polite. Yes there was a wait but not bad for an urgent care center during a pandemic with a recent surge. I got in with no appointment and got a test, diagnosis and was on my way. This is our go-to urgent care for our whole family.

Mom has excruciating neck/shoulder pain after falling on her back. We had a 9 am appointment and waited for about 20 minutes to be seen. They were very nice and friendly. Doctor was good at diagnosing and we were out by 9:45 am. Nice thing about the doctor was that she didn’t think it was necessary to do an X-ray. I would definitely recommend them instead of going to an ER or a hospital.

Found this place through a quick google search when I wasnt feeling so well and they were able to get me in very quickly. The check in process was very quick and easy for being a new patient and the front staff were very friendly and efficient. I waited for about 5 minutes after filling out the new paperwork before I was ushered to the back by a very professional and friendly nurse. He quickly took vitals and information and then told me the doctor would be in shortly. I geared up for waiting because thats what you generally have to do but not even 3 minutes later the doctor was in. I, unfortunately, being as sick as I was did not catch her name, but she was so sweet and friendly. She did a thorough exam and diagnosed me quick and correctly before sending me out the door with a prescription already waiting at the pharmacy of my choice. My appt was at 1030. I arrived at 1015 and was out by 1035. I highly recommend this place to anyone and will return in the future. Thank you!

Booked and checked in online for urgent care. In- network with my insurance made them very cost effective. Virtually no wait and the doctor and staff were professional and addressed my needs effectively. Would not hesitate to use them again and would recommend based upon my positive experience

Great staff! Missie, Nikki and Evelyne Imah, DNP were amazing.They were Angels. I went in with horrible back spasm and pain, I couldnt sit, and hardly move. They were professional, empathetic, and very efficient. I walked in, and had hardly any wait. Check in was efficient, and online.Highly recommend.

Made my wife wait 3 hours while the doctor had his family speed lined ahead of everyone but they were busy. They werent busy they were screwing around. They lied and told her she was next every time instead of telling her to go somewhere else. She lied to the patients to help the doctor see his family first.

My first visit here & it won’t be my last. From the front desk employee, to the nurse to the doctor-they each handled me with extra care & professionalism. Dr.Imah has incredible bedside manner & knew exactly how to deal with my anxiety. She even offered to refer me to a great psychiatrist without me even asking ! I would also highly recommend getting your covid testing done here as well. She was very quick and thorough and patient with me. 1000/5 stars !:)

Dr. Roopa seemed to really care about her patients.. I have never experienced a doctor caring like that. She asked me questions to get to the root of my issue I was having. This is my first time dealing with a very informative caring doctor. I hope she doesn’t change! Overall my visit was pleasant which doesn’t really happen too often. This will be my new clinic I go to. I truly hope I have nothing but good experiences from now on. Keep up the good work!

The personnel at the clinic were efficient, courteous and kind. I felt very welcome.The nurse assistant was outstanding as well. He was knowledgeable, efficient and caring. I recently visited this Urgent Care at 5076 W. Plano Parkway Rd in Plano Texas and I arrived at my Appt time and only waited 10 minutes before being seen. Dr. Evelyn and Nicole were absolutely excellent. I couldn’t recommend a better clinic. Thank you all ladies

Super professional and friendly staff! I took my boyfriend who does not have insurance. We were treated with the same respect as the insured. It was more important for them to get him treatment than to figure out how they were getting paid right then. Will definitely be taking us both back there!

The best urgent care with outstanding & faster services ..... We were treated nicely and all staffs were very caring (From the front office lady to the Nurse and then the Doctor). They answered all our questions, concerns and provided advice, they were very knowledgeable and friendly. The appointment we went for was done in less than 10 minutes with lots of care & compassion. I have a daughter who was having weird breathing and no other symptoms I wanted to get her heart rate and breathing checked oxygen and so on checked they called me and basically said what do you want us to do about it probably cause we are Medicaid and then canceled without confirming I was still bringing her in. You can take a few minutes to look at my child and they cancelled after refusing service even though they take our insurance thank you. That’s the closest place we can get to since my car is broke down. So appreciate it real classy

The staff is technically competent but doesnt communicate well. I sat in the examination room for an hour without being acknowledged. Not until I popped my head out to check what was going was I taken care of. Did I get an apology or an acknowledgement of the long wait? No. Just an eye roll like Im the bad guy.

It was a very unsatisfactory experience.The process of giving information is complicated. Even after I had done all the formalities , again the receptionist on the counter did some manual entry. It took like 15 minutes. Then came the most difficult part, waiting with my 3 year old daughter for close to 1 hour. Yet it was just a beginning, we were taken by nurse into a room, where we waited for another 30 minutes. Doctor showed up for 15 minutes and left stating she will give us discharge papers. Discharge paper came after 15 minutes. In total we spent 2 hours at this facility. There is clearly lot of scope to improve.But I am certainly not going back to your urgent care in the future.

They saw me relatively quickly and gave me the appropriate treatment. All staff were friendly and professional.

This is a great urgent care. I always come to this location and the lady at the front is very helpful and nice and the doctors are great too! A little pricey without insurance, but they offer a membership up to 90 days so save you money if you need to come back within that time period. Regardless I love this location and the people that work here. Thank you for taking good care of me when I come there.

I was very surprised as usually the person taking patients in (in most places) is in a lousy mood, shoves a clipboard at you, and points towards the chairs without even looking up at you.Courtney was also very attentive. Excellent service from him as well. Very professional staff overall. Would definitely recommend this location.

I received attention as soon as I walked in. Check-in was fast and I was led to the Nurses station within 5 minutes. I saw the Doctor within 5 min. after that and received a very nice consultation and the prescriptions I needed were called into my local pharmacy. Everything was professional, cordial and efficient.

I take my daughter here when I cant get into her regular doctor. We are always seen very quickly even if we dont check in online. Monitor in lobby shows list of who is in line which I really appreciate. First visit paperwork was quick and painless. They have a play area and a treasure chest of toys for kids to take home. Staff is always friendly and helpful. We are always in and out very quickly.

The doctor is very nice and positive lady! She really enjoyed seeing my baby and told me that she would like to have a baby too when watching us while I was nursing my daughter. She gave me good advices about her skin along with reassuring me her lungs are clear and I am doing the right things.The place accepts Medicaid insurance.

Nicki MA, and front desk staff were warm and. welcoming. Nicki was good, and patient.S Bearden PAC was excellent. He was very thorough in my analysis. He was professional , listened, and made sure that I understood .

I came in early so there was no wait and the front desk was very nice. I told the doctor my issue and I felt barely listened to and felt like they were in a rush to get me out the door. The doctor acted like they barely wanted to talk to me and didnt even do any sort of examination. I would go back here as everyone else I enteracted with was very nice and helpful.

This place is the best! Zaria, and Courtney, also the X-ray man literally made sure the took the necessary steps to getting me better. Thank y’all so so much.

Thanks to our crazy weather I needed to see a doctor quickly, bit my PCP was closed. Thankfully I found this Prima Care. I was able to easily check in online before I got there, was treated so nicely and welcoming, and was out with probably 30 minutes. Got exactly what I needed and Im so grateful for the care and concern I was given. Great location that I highly recommend to everyone.Also my appointment time was at 5:30 on a Wednesday. There was no waiting time to check-in online and I was seen before walk-ins.Hopefully its same for you whenever you need to be seen.

The staff at Prima Care is really prompt and professional. With the understanding upfront that the medical personnel is an Intern but certainly has the knowledge to treat my medical needs was awesome. My wait was within the timeframe I expected. The Intern addressed my concerns with suggestions. Overall experience was great!

I made my appointment online at midnight on Christmas day to get tested for Covid. The reason why was because appointment slots were getting really full fast. Walk-ins are welcome but the wait time would be extremely long. If you are going to get tested for Covid make sure you call and find out if they have any tests available. When I went they had a sign that said they didn’t have any test available for the day but I made sure to ask that they had one available for me and they said yes because I made the appointment ahead of time. So I recommend you do an appointment online. You can only do same-day appointments or next day. Same-day appointments is very hard to get because they’re practically full so I advise you to do it right at midnight and see if anything is available for the following day which most likely there is. The staff was professional. The lady at the front desk and the PCP was very professional and nice and the nurse was just professional. I recommend this location.

I have been to this location a few times in the last several months. The service kind of varies, most of the doctors and nurses/techs are polite and knowledgeable, and there are some that just dont seem to have their hearts in it and are slightly rude and it kind of feels like they just want to get you in and out even if that means not fully listening to your description of symptoms, questions, or concerns. The good ones are amazing though. The wait time has never been very long(even if I didnt do the online check in), and they are much faster at sending prescriptions to the pharmacy than other places. The $20/visit for Collin County residents that dont have insurance and have low income coming in is so helpful! Even though I have seen one or two doctors with slightly unpleasant attitudes, I would recommend Prima Care.

Went in to get a flu shot and was in and out within 15 minutes! Rina was very sweet and super fast at check-in! And Stacy was amazing at administering the flu shot. I didn’t even feel a thing! Definitely will be back for any of my urgent care needs!

My appointment was at 11am.. and as they advices I got here at 10:50am. The check in process was quick but I didnt see the doctor till 12! I waited in the lobby for good 20-30mins and then in the room for the remaining of the time.They really dont follow what they advertise about why wait in a doctors lobby, call ahead and wait where you wantWell thats what I did but I still waiting an hour to be seen.Doctor herself was great. Really listens and understands. I did not feel rushed. I was just really disappointed with how slow the entire process was. Waited an hour to speak to the doctor for 6mins...

NextCare Urgent Care nurses are ontime for every visit with, vital sign equipment and friendly, health related questions. The Physical Therapist was ontime, also, and got my left hip replacement and 70 year old body off the walker and and on a cane in 30 days with twice-a-week visits. Everyone was a nice, smiling, caring, health professional.

From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor my experience was VERY PLEASANT. You can really tell when medical professionals love their job. Im not easy to satisfy, but this visit was one of the best if not the best I have experience here in Dallas, Texas!

I had a bad sinus and ear infection. Terrible headache. They were slow but had about 10 people ahead of me. There’s no Doc. I’m a nurse, No problem. Nurse Practitioner good as a Doc for uncomplicated issues. Got treated and out the door in about 2 hrs. BUT the TV is way too loud if you have a bad headache!!

The care was perfeshonal. They listen to me and then asked questions.

I went in for what I thought was a UTI. I was told they would run a culture and give me very strong antibiotics. Well I had horrible side effects and called to ask 1. if there was another medication I could try and 2. if my culture results came back because I hadnt heard back. I got a very RUDE person on the phone who basically told me I was fine What does that mean? She just kept saying your fine and when I told her if I could try another antibiotic she said to keep taking what I had. I called a few days later and explained to the person who answered about what I was told. She had a nurse call me. This nurse confirmed, in the proper way that my culture was negative and I did NOT have a UTI and it would be wise to see a PCP regarding the symptoms I was experiencing. Why could that message not been relayed when I called the first time. I received my bill and asked if it could be lowered based on my experiences with their company, which I KNOW they can do. I was denied. Never, EVER again will I go to NextCare Urgent Care!!

I’ve been coming here for about a year now and I love this place so much, I almost never want to go to another doctor. The entire staff treats you with kindness and respect. You’re not just a number to them. They actually care about you and your needs. I even don’t want to go to another PrimaCare office because I’m so partial to these employees.

Scott and Courtney were really thorough. Scott provided education and materials. He also remembered the last time we came to see him specifically in August. I really enjoy going to this urgent care because of Scott specifically.

Front desk staff was kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They were running a little behind but apologized for it (so rare in doctors offices), both nurse and doctor were very patient and thorough, asked questions and listened to the answers. Definitely would recommend this location if an urgent care is needed.

Woke up about 2:30 AM with a sore throat that was getting worse and worse by the day. NextCare opened at 8AM I was able to get in and receive prescriptions had everything covered by insurance. Recommend filling out information online before you go.

This is one of the best places to visit when not feeling well. I recently took my sick 6 year old daughter to be seen because she was feeling a bit under the weather. They wanted to test her for strep and I knew she hates those swabs down the back of her throat. The technician was very patient with her and seemed to understand. They have a fantastic play area for the kiddos while they wait and my daughter likes the treasure chest of toys that she gets to choose from at the end of her visit.Overall the establishment is clean, the staff is super friendly and patient, and the lobby is warm and inviting as much as a medical facility can be.

Went in to get a Covid test for a concert Im going to. The staff was really nice and friendly. No appointment needed, which is what I ran into with CVS & Walgreens because didnt know I needed one. I was able to head straight there, check in and fill out paperwork, and they took me in not long after. I had my test results within 20 mins. I highly recommend to anyone needing to get a test for whatever reason. Youll be taken care of and get your results promptly after getting it done.

I will say the front desk and nurse were very pleasant and professional. Thats all that was good about my visit. The doctor did not take any time to figure out the problem or even talk to me. When I tried asking for more information she was very short and defensive. VERY unprofessional. I left feeling like I was somehow imposing by going there. Unless its an emergency I highly recommend going elsewhere.

After visiting 4 other “Urgent Care” and “Minute Clinics” with no luck, I was able to get seen with nearly no wait time! Kind staff members. The FNP, Evelyn, was nice and I would consider returning there again.

Not but 12 hours before visiting this primacare, I visited the primacare off Alma in Plano where they did the bare minimum. While there I was the last patient so I get it, but when I came in with throbbing ears and an extremely inflamed throat I waited for 45 minutes just to have a strep & COVID test turn out negative. They didn’t examine my ears nor throat and told me to take Tylenol and gargle salt water... I’m a very tolerable person when it comes to pain, so when I woke up that night at 2 AM still in so much pain, I scheduled an appointment for this primacare location. Needless to say this medical staff did what the first ones should’ve done. They were extremely kind, considerate, quick and effective in getting me what I needed and what I should’ve received the night before. I am so thankful for this staff and clinic!

Great experience. I got there for a COVID Test without an appointment. I got my appointment right away for the same day. I didn’t wait long. Less than an hour I was out. The doctors were very kind and professional. Definitely I’m going back in case that I need.

My wait time was short and the front desk girls were nice and helpful. My experience with NP Evelyne was delightful she was very sweet and listened to all my concerns. The back office staff was very efficient and thorough. I plan on coming back to this location next time I need to and refer to here as well. Thank you Primacare

Caring, efficient and thorough. I came in for a shoulder injury and they did a thorough examination and avoided unnecessary scans and extra costs for me. I felt heard and was given good advice and care.

Went for a Covid-19 test. Appointments required but no referral from a doctor needed. Very professional, quick. I had the throat swab PCR test. Results back much sooner than I expected (2 days instead of 3-5 business days).

The people there are very kind and cooperative with me. Im working in Texas for Field Service (Im from Missouri) so I was very nervous. However, the staff are very professional and help me to the best of their abilities. Im very thankful!

My wife and I went in with the same whatever, infectious something. Ear aches and inflammation, congestion. After examining, Dr. agreed to what we thought was wrong. Saw both of us at the same time. I was AMAZED how clean an organized the entire place was. I loved being able to make an appointment and then noticed no one was waiting so I headed over 20 minutes early and I was greeted and taken back in 5 minutes. Dr Evelyne IMah was so paying attention to my situation. If I ever get to feeling bad again, this PrimeaCare on Plano Parkway will be my go to place.I did make sure I had all my paperwork filled out, know my Insurance Information to give them and made an appointment. If you are not prepared, how can they be. I was and that made the process SMOOTH!!!!Thank you to the entire Staff!!! I am already feeling better!!!!

Being a Saturday and no appointment available, I still did not have to wait long to see the doctor. Staff were efficient. Dr. Manju Agrawal was wonderful and caring. Clinic was clean, pleasant with social distancing practices. I was looking for an urgent care location I can go to besides my regular doctor. I have found it and will be back.

It was awesome, I made my appointment on line and I was the only one there. Fast service, the receptionist, the lady that took me to my room and took the xrays as well as the doctor were great. Friendly & professional!

The only reason I gave this 1 star is because I cant write a review without it and negative stars were not available. Called this morning 10/21 to get my test results one person told me the earliest they would be available was Wednesday 10/23. After being on an extended hold was cold transferred to another person. Went through the reason I was calling and was told the results were in. I requested they be emailed to me so I could take them to my appt. with a specialist. After waiting 2 hours have not received the results. Had my doctor call and the results were sent in 2 minutes. I guess its not patients first.

The lady in the front desk was rude and not welcoming at all. She give attitude and look that make you feel uncomfortable. Overall bad experience she just ruin my day.

Whats the point of giving us access to a wait list when its not respected? Why even allow us to book appointments at a location if the back office is closed? How come its ok for yall to disrespect my appointment but Im expected to be ten minutes early? Some leeway is expected but multiple hours is beyond inconsiderate.

Tried to get in on Friday and see my regular doctor and also tried another doctors office where I take my mom but no appts available and needed to see someone soon, had a bad cough, sore throat and congestion. My sister referred me to go to PrimaCare and must say the BEST visit I had! The Front office person (Linda), back staff (George) and PA Sara Defietas were very courteous. Didnt have a long wait, office was clean, front and back. This office visit was definitely better than my regular doctors office.Also received a phone call from PrimaCare customer service on Sunday checking to see how I was doing. The medication that was prescribed was what I needed to get better. I would definitely refer anyone here to PrimaCare! Thank you PrimaCare, that is what I call great customer service!!!

Edit 3 weeks later - another visitSo this time around I am having covid sx, I am a medical professional myself and I don’t feel like the care was there.The last time I came I saw a male provider who throughly accessed me, listened to my complaints and gave great recommendation. He even listened to my lungs and checked me out.This time around WITH shortness of breath and congestion, my lungs weren’t listened to. The lower oxygen levels were also not discussed. The lady(NP) I saw didn’t explain to me her thoughts or concerns. She just swabbed me basically. Which I told them I had already been swabbed right before I came with negative results and was wanting to be access and treated. I requested steroids to help with my yellow/green congestion.I heard the MAs discussing how to give me an injection in the hallway... it made me nervous honestly.Great experience with the Male provider. This one I saw today, seemed over worked or just didn’t care.

I loveeeee this doctors office. This was my kids and I first visit and we will definitely be back. The staff is wonderful and prompt. Not only was we walk-ins they texted us when we where ready so we didnt loose are spots. Thank you 😊 💓

I was seen in PrimaCare for a sinus issue. I was treated professionally and efficiently by the whole staff including the pleasant lady that answered the phone when I called for an appointment. My diagnosis by the nurse practician was correct and treatment proper. I received excellent care. I highly recommend PrimaCare.

My doctor would not see me because he thought I might have Covid. I tested 2 times negative. Today NextCare got me in and Missie,Nikki, Dr Bearden took care of me. It is bronchitis glad they saw me Thank you!!

The team at this PrimaCare were wonderful. In these times of the Covid virus, it was such a relief to be treated like a person. Dr Evelyn, was very caring. The front office and the nurse were just as caring. Thank you

I had an abases surgery on Friday. My wound was very deep and sore. My surgery doctor (dr Cole at the surgery center of Plano) told me I would have to change it myself or get a neighbor to do it because he had no one on the weekend. It was in my groin area.So my Son called the Prima Care on Plano Parkway and made an appointment for me.I can’t say enough about the whole staff. They are my Angels!! They got me in and out in a timely matter both Saturday and Sunday besides doing a great job!I don’t know what I would have done without them because they told me that I could have never done that myself because the wound was deep with a a bunch of packing.Thank you to everyone there that helped me. I would recommend them over most Doctors!!

I went into Nextcare/Plano feeling awful but came out feeling better. Not solely because of the meds but the personal care provided by the Doctor and staff especially Nickii.

Service is usually quick turnaround. This time waited for 30 min in waiting room. Then 40 min in private room after throat swab. It’s flu season have to be patient.

I have used this clinic for years with good results -- until NOW. I went in over a week ago for COVID testing. When I called, they suggested results would be available in 2 days. When I was onsite for my test, they acknowledged it was actually 2-6 days. We are now 8 days in and I have no test results. More disturbing, though, is the lack of compassion or concern the staff appears to have about the test results. Others have tested at competing urgent care clinics in Plano and received their results in less than 2 days, so I dont think it is legitimate to suggest that all the labs are behind schedule. This is completely unacceptable.
