Dr. McGuirk was very judgmental and condescending about some personal information I shared with her during my intake. I was offered no numbing for an endometrial biopsy which was nothing short of barbaric. Orilissa and Lupron are dangerous band-aids for symptoms of endometriosis and in my case, made my pain worse (I spent a day at the ER in pain and was told my dose might be increased?!) Look at Nancy’s Nook for a list of qualified endo specialists. I saw Dr. Ann Peters in Baltimore and have seen excellent results.I gave 2 stars because Dr. McGuirk did provide some helpful general health tips for me, such as using a Navage for allergies and seeing an internal medicine doctor for Lynch syndrome. Many but not all of their staff members are kind.

After a friend recommended, I saw Dr. McGuirk in April of 2019. Dr. McGuirk was the SEVENTH gyn I saw and I had all but given up hope that someone was going to be able to help me. I had been misdiagnosed multiple times and offered surgery with no indication the doctor knew what he/she was looking for or fixing. On my first visit after explaining my symptoms ive had for over 20 years, Dr. McGuirk and I worked on a plan, she explained everything, offered reassurance that I was not crazy and she could help me. After thorough testing and workup, we planned surgery and I felt confident this time it was different and I would get relief after so many years.I had surgery in September and have enjoyed freedom from many unwanted symptoms since. I am so thankful for Dr. McGuirk and her team, especially Mari who was also a huge support for me throughout it all. What was also helpful was that I did not at anytime feel pressured to get this done so I could have kids.I understand many have surgery for that, but me wanting this just for myself was validated by the team.Thank you all!

So many red flags. No comunication between Dr., nursing staff, and billing. Had the wrong scripts called in, was not given proper instructions for blood work, billing kept changing how I had to pay, I was told I could get some testing dont outside office so my inaurance woupd cover it then was told no after already dropping $300 with no answers. Tests were done and paid for yet I was not givem results. If you have Endometriosis go to a real specialist, this is not it. I got there and really this ia a fertility clinic claiming to be an Endo specialist

They will not see you if you suffer from endometriosis, but are in menopause or after. Lovely.
