Jennifer Mueller, MD, FACOG - MSK Gynecologic Surgeon

In September of 2020 I was told i had a right ovarian cyst and I was told my Dr Mueller the best thing to do is to remove my right ovary along with the cyst. This is what I agreed to this is what i was told would be done. I woke up from surgery and had no feeling in my right leg .Dr Mueller had left for vacation by the time i woke up and had to be reached my phone, I was told the cyst wasn’t on the ovary that it was on the muscle of my right leg but she decided to remove it anyway not knowing what it was. When I finally went back for my post opp i was a schwannoma tumor and had nothing to do with my Reproductive parts (OBGYN) and she had a picture of the tumor on her phone .After surgery I have minimal usage of my right leg and tend to fall constantly because my knee is unstable from the nerve damage Im in Constant Pain I can no longer work because I can’t stand for to long , I can’t take care of my children how im supposed to and Dr. Mueller along with the hospital refuses to take any accountability for what was done to me . As a black woman i was experimented on . Sloan Kettering feels like nothing wrong was done to me!!!!!!!!!!

Treatment and diagnostic surgery were top notch. But It was two weeks from the date of surgery before I spoke to a nurse for results. Nurse was reassured by results that left me with many questions. Questions were shuttled through nurse. Never spoke with doctor. Would not go back.

I went to MSK because I was told it was the best.It was not the best for me.I did not know the different surgeons were in competition with each other as separate private practices. I was told by MSK they were collaborative not competing with each other.I was not given complete information. I was given information that ran counter to the American Cancer Society.I was not told there were tests which pre op could significantly diminish my percentage for the risk of spread.I was not treated as a human being.I was just a number on which they could profit.If you have an obscure cancer then MSK might be for you. I pray for all those who find themselves in such a situation.But if you have a rather common cancer that can be treated at a hospital in which they see and respect you as a human being rather than another body so they can rack up yet more bread and butter surgeries, don’t accept MSK’s scare tactics.I was told if I did not sign up for surgery now there was another woman in the next room that my surgeon was going to see and that patient would take my operation date slot.Wow- talk about trying to close a deal and not care remotely about the cancer patient.Do your research and pick the best care for you. Do not be seduced by the MSKCC brand alone.

Dr Mueller and her entire team are just outstanding. I went in feeling scared about my first major surgery, but as soon as I met Dr Mueller, I knew I was in good hands. I came out from surgery feeling so much than before I went in. I feel like I have a new lease on life. Thank you again MSK for all you do!

Dr Muller was more interested in her vacation than my wive cancer she waited to long to have surgery from July 5 to surgery date July 22 which was postponed my wive passed on Aug 23,2024 with no surgery & no treatment

Doctor Jennifer Mueller it is such a great doctor and person. She cares about her patients and this is such a rare and must have quality as a doctor, we all anxious about our health and especially when it comes to C and need a surgery. She knows how to comfort her patients right from the first appointment with the best options and solutions for their medical needs. I know might sound crazy or silly but she makes you looking forward to see her again and let her take care of your health issues, because in her you find Hope. God bless her!

I can’t say enough of Dr Mueller she is amazingly caring and professional, she takes time explaining and making sure you feel comfortable. The staff are all great pleasant visit, I would greatly recommend
