AFC PriMed Taylor Crossing

Upon entrance staff was very welcoming and did not give me the evil eye as most places do for having a cough. The entire staff was nice and accommodating from reception to Dr. Taylor. Thanks Erica and Marisa for going the extra mile to comfort patients and having such great customer service.

Visit was quick and easy. Staff was very professional and helpful. Nurse practitioner was very nice and knowledgeable. Recommend that you make an appointment online and let them know that when you check in.

As someone who travels extensively for work, I usually have to visit an urgent care clinic if I get sick, because it usually happens away from home. This is by far one of the best Ive been to, nationwide. It was well staffed with polite, attentive, and caring folks who saw and treated me right away.

Came in for a sore throat. From the time I walked in I felt I made the right choice. Everyone was personable and caring. The doctor asked the right questions and the nurse gently did the tests and shared a personal story that made me feel much better. I was seen and treated swiftly and had a great experience overall.

Erica & Nadia are absolutely fabulous. Got me and got me out. They are the sweetest!!definitely 10 out of 10. Only primed I come too!!Love the front desk associateJust an all around smooth and very helpful process!!

This is my second time at this clinic and again the service was exceptional. The staff is very attentive and empathetic of their patients. The doctor is absolutely fantastic! I’m from out of town and work in the area and they are by far the best when it comes to my health care needs. Thank you for taking care of me!

Came in for care and was greeted by Nurse Practitioner Nadia. She was very helpful and compassionate with her care and explaining my ailments. I hattteee needles and needed to get a shot. Ms. Erica was very compassionate and my shot was painless. They are both great!

Staff is friendly fast and effective. Love it here. I was in and out within 20min. The Nurse was mindful and helpful

Great experience. First and foremost, Ms. Kastall, is a very smart and careful person when it comes to her work. She was diligent with me and other patients. She also would double check information and make sure everything is correct on file.The facility was very clean. The facility had enough tissue and hand sanitizer for 20 people if they were waiting. Which I find very important to have not only in an establishment but a clinic as well.

This place is only good for a tic tac and a pep talk...no medical care provided. Waited two hours to see the doctor to get an x-ray and was only given an aspirin and a referral to the ER. Could have saved me a days wait and a more affordable bill. Will find a different primary.

I walked into AFC on Taylor Rd feeling like crap🥲🥲🥲. When I walked in Erica the receptionist was so polite and compassionate. And she was concerned about my wellbeing. LeDerius the medical assistant was compassionate and polite as well. He was very knowledgeable about is job and was very understanding. And Mrs. McCullin CRNP, came in and put the icing on the cake. She explained everything that was gonna do to see why I was feeling so bad. She did her examination and ran her tests that she needed. And once Egypt the medical assistant came in and did the test for the provider she was very compassionate and caring as well. The provider came back and explained her plan for me to get my health back on track. To make a long story short I had a very good experience at AFC on Taylor Road this morning.

I love this PriMed location! Soon as you walk inside the building everyone greet you with a pleasant smile. Gabriel at the front desk is very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to questions that you may have. I wish I can give this facility more than 5 stars😊

My First time visiting and the front desk receptionist Kay was very nice and welcoming. She has great customer service skills. The registration easy and the waiting did not take long. Would definitely recommend!!

They did a great job. This location is always busy and they did the best they could to get me in and out efficiently. They made sure I was cared for and checked on me periodically.

When you sick , you do not like to fill out a bunch of paper work especially when you been there before. You had to sit and wait in front area and then again when you got in the back to see the doctor.

The worst experience I’ve ever had. They’ve continually gone down hill for a while now but this female at the check in desk really put them over the top today.4.5 stars my foot!!! There’s no way on Gods green earth this place is 4.5 stars.The girl at the front did absolutely everything she could to get me to go somewhere else when I walked in the door. Helped everyone else but me. I’m a licensed medical professional myself and know how the process works probably better than her. She flat out lied saying that she was positive “another AFC” had a specific blood draw kit I needed. I knew better and called the other location on speaker in front of her so she could hear. When that didn’t work she said “well, there’s about 10 people in front of you”. I said ok, that’s fine as I had to get the blood drawn today I didn’t really have a choice. Then I looked at the que. I was 4th. Not 10th. I’m not sure what her point was other than to just not wanting to take another patient but good grief. She spent way more energy trying to get rid of me than she did actually checking me in. Shes a white female but you can barely understand a word she says. Then commenced to flirt with a male POC that was also a patient. Like girl…just do your job and hook up on your own time. None of us wants to be here to begin with. Don’t waste your time coming here. These places really should not be used for professional services like DOT and professional boards. Please, just give us a diagnostic lab to go to. Not a broken doc in the box.It’s 2024. There’s absolutely NO WAY we should still tolerate these ridiculous wait times. They’re not busy enough to justify waiting as long as it takes them. Get it together people.I also should add that the same desk lady announced to the entire waiting room that the waiting area IS NEVER CLEANED!?!? Are you kidding me?!? How is this real life?! I’ve never been more disgusted in my life….and I work in healthcare.She also went on to announce that they were out of COVID tests so the people waiting for that should just leave.I had to have blood drawn and ended up having to help the little lady drawing my blood to hit the actual vein. I’m not a hard stick and I was well hydrated so……What is even happening at this place? How they can even charge for these so called “services” is beyond me. Like a circus in this place.Also, please save the generic response. I don’t need a hollow apology and asking me to contact you for further discussion. This is the discussion. DO BETTER! Period.

Recommend you get your information ready ahead of time. I needed my I.D., insurance card, and the name of the pharmacy to call in my prescription. Once checked in, notice the varying levels of stress in the waiting room. I watched as Marisha welcomed each visitor and ensured their check-in process was complete.During my visit to the urgent care, I was truly impressed by the seamless integration of human care and technological efficiency. I visited the AFC Taylor crossing on Feb 13, 2023. I gave this facility a 1 star not because of the staff they were super, excellent and helpful. I appreciate the excellent service. The 1 star is for the appearance and up keep of the facility. Dirty and incomplete, siding off the base board, walls dirty and the chairs are peeling where it snags your clothes . This is where you take the patients for examination. The owners are responsible for the building and it needs inspecting. If it is under renovation that needs to be posted if not that is awful for a patient it is nasty. I wont go there anymore not because of the staff. The photos posted on the web of the facility is not true for Taylor crossing. Thanks

The nurse and staff were nice. BUT took us over 3 hours to get a referral for another doctor. The doctor who saw me came in and sat next to me on the patient bench. Listened to my heart for 2 seconds and that was it. Asked me a few questions. I was very uncomfortable and even asked the nurse if he usually does that. She said hes set in his ways and used to work in the ER. I have never had a doctor get so close to me. I was very uncomfortable.

I visited AFC because Id been sick for 3 weeks.The main waiting room is very clean and tidy. The check-in process is fairly painless. The text link they send you to complete the check-in will show you your place in line, which is pretty handy.The doctor I saw was very upbeat and informative. I had both a flu test and a covid test done, and the nurse assistant who did the swab make it relatively painless.Overall, my time start to finish was around 1-1/2 hours. I was pleased with my experience and would definitely recommend them for urgent walk-in care.

Very pleased with the process. I had a hard time completing the registration on my phone. Shout out to Kay Ponica who was able to help me and complete my registration for me. I really appreciate what she did. Customer service was great.

They were kind and professional. It was a laid back atmosphere. It would of been nice if they remove the vending machines since they dont work, get new sitting room chairs, and fix the TV but thats management. Its important to keep up the appearance of your waiting area because sometimes it gives insight on what kind of service to expect. Overall it was clean and quiet. I went late in the evening, and the associates didnt seem irritated or had a bad attitude. They were still friendly and helpful.

My visit was quick and I left out feeling much better than when I came in. Every staff member was attentive as well. Definitely will come back if I need to.

The Staff is Friendly, and Professional. I was seen by my Tech, Erica twice. Shes is always Pleasant, and informative of my treatment. Im always pleased, with the service at this location!!!!!!

I got there at 7:45, they opened at exactly 8:00 (on time) I was the only patient in the lobby until 8:30. I wasn’t called in the back until 9:00. When asked by the dr. how I felt, my response was “I’d be better if I didn’t have to wait a whole hour to be seen”. The dr. Got upset, yelled at me and walked out. I was only here because they did fix my sinus issue that I was just seen for a week prior. The dr. then sent the manager in to tell me the only way she would see me is if I apologize. You want an apology for stating my opinion after asking how I was doing. I agreed to the apology and she still told them (cause you can hear everything through the walls) she not gone see me. That’s fine too my dr. agreed to see me cause you didn’t deserve no apology.

Kay’Ponica was amazing and fast. She made sure I got signed in as well as my daughter so that we could be seen together. Sweet lady !

I like going to this particular urgent care bc the doctors seems to be more competent and the staff is definitely more friendly. The last couple times Ive come, the doctors and/or nurse practitioner seem to overlook what youre saying to them. On January 27, 2024, I came in with redness and seeping of the eye along with it hurting and the nurse practitioner immediately just said pinkeye. I kept having to tell her that it felt like something was in my eye. Thats when she finally did a thorough eye exam with dying my eye and placing it under the black light. She then discovered I had a cornea abrasion. Like I shouldnt have had to keep saying something was in my eye for you to do a thorough examination of my eye. That shouldve been a given.I say all that to say.... Just slow down and actually listen to the patients and what theyre saying is wrong with them and dont dismiss it. And please do a thorough examination of the problem.

Erica was my MA she was very pleasant and professional. The NP that assisted me was very good he listened and ensured he screened my child well. Front could use a little energy but over all experience 9/10 definitely recommend.

Everyone was amazing and the process was quick and easy! This is my go to spot when I need to get myself or my kids seen quickly!

My son came there early afternoon with tightness in his chest and pains from the morning. He arrived around 11:50. After over an hour of watching other people go to the back the staff finally called him to the back and he was left alone for more than 40 minutes. By now the stay was past 2 hours and still not seen the doctor. He had to leave. This experience was most unprofessional and does a disservice to young college students who need medical attention. Very disappointing to say the least! 👎

Terrible experience. The intake lady didnt even take down all my prescriptions. The nurse that took care of me was in there for 2 minutes and told me she was calling in meds. I asked her for cough suppressant and she said that is part of the meds. Didnt tell me what she was giving me and spent zero time with me after Covid came back negative. She said its bronchitis and I am giving you a steroid shot and some meds. That was it. Very rude. Will never go back

I give this place 1 start just to leave this review..let it be known, the front desk staff was pleasant. I drove over 30 minutes to this location THINKING there may have been a small possibility i would get decent care. I was in place #4 for an hour + in the waiting area... went to a room and waited again for 1 hour. Did a covid and flu test. Reported negative. Gave me antibiotics, cough med with codeine, steroids. This was at 5 : 30 pm. So #1 they were ready to go.... #2. What kind of medical professional to any degree gives a patient these meds late in the evening and tells them they can return to work in the morning. Are you over writing prescription or do you not know how long it takes for the prescriptions to work... OR do you not know the side effectsofa codeine syrup? Meds havent had time to get into your system good in such a short time. She never told me what she THOUGHT could be the problem and just sent me on my way.... (before 6🤔). I return home. Start on the meds... I was correct in thinking i would not feel any better 12 hours later. Called off work. . My elderly mother in law lives with me. She started showing the same symptoms AFTER i have called off work for the 2nd day. She ends up having to call the paramedics to come get her. I am too sick to drive and shes having what we thought was an asthma attack... no, shes admitted to the hospital with the flu... I would think a medical professional would atleast see classic symptoms of the flu. even if a test reads negative.i have been off work for 3 days and just now am starting to feel SOME relief. But she gave me a letter to return the following morning .. What a joke... It was very obvious i was far more ill than a common cold with a couph. I feel they are about medically competent as my 11 year old granddaughter. Sorry , but unless you have a minor cold, or have fallen and gotten a scratch. I wouldnt trust this place.Also, the bathroom was as filthy as one of those gas station bathrooms you have to go outside and around to the building. No toilet paper, hand towels, nor trash can was provided.

KayPonica was such a great help on my visit at the AFC PriMed. She was patient and very understanding during my triage.

Will not visit this place again. 1 1/2 hr wait time. Got called in 15 mins before they actually closed so of course it was a rushed service. All for them to tell me his results came back negative for Covid and flu just use a humidifier, Vicks vapor rub, etc. my child was breathing very heavily, having a hard time catching his breath, very congested, coughing nonstop and wheezing. Nurse Practitioner say well you know they are stomach breathers, wth does that mean I know when my child’s breathing changes you can tell me there isn’t something wrong! I mentioned the symptoms were the same as when he had RSV she goes on to tell me they don’t have RSV tests there but I can go to the ER or Kids Urgent care if I want to put my mind at ease. Called in a steroid pack to pick up and at the time the pharmacy was closed so I insisted he be given something for the night. They gave a steroid for the night and sent us home. They had no care for the patients just want to collect the money and rush people in and out. Will not visit here again.

I came in with my 2 year old daughter on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 and was seen by Erica and Jamiya. Both ladies were showed great patience and care with my daughter. They were very welcoming and nice.

The staff at AFC were very professional, greeting everyone as they came in. I was able to do registration online, so it didnt take long to get to the back. I was seen by Patience and Miya who were very helpful and nice.

Check in ahead option made for a smooth check in process. Was not in the waiting area long before having my vitals checked and taken to a room. I know I can always depend on the providers here to take care of my needs.

By far the worst. Front desk receptionist is very slow almost to the point where she doesn’t know what she’s doing. I’m scheduled a worker comp appointment every 2 weeks at 3pm. I sit in the lobby for an hour and I also sit in the back for 2 hours. I honestly don’t understand it. The staff unprofessional. When you ask how much longer is the wait it’s almost like they get irritated and annoyed you’re asking and the wait becomes longer!!!!

I love this AFC location. I deal with Lupus and frequently have to be seen. The staff are always friendly and excited to help if needed. They are very patient and quick. I always go to this location. If there’s a lot of ppl I’ll tough it out and wait just so I’ll be seen here.

Visit this location on yesterday. I had arrived about an hour before closing. Wasn’t crowded. When I finally seen I guess nurse practitioner because she didn’t introduce herself but I knew her name was Ms. cooks I looked on my discharge papers. She Had a nasty attitude wasn’t patience with the fact I was very weak and sick. When she wrote out my return to work papers it didn’t match the amount medication I had to take. Will visit another location instead here. Very unprofessional

Besides the wait time (Over 2hrs), staff are great! Professional and Polite. Erica was very thorough! I’ve been hurting for 2 weeks so 2hrs didn’t seem so bad afterwards.

I just wanted to acknowledge the sweet medical assistant Shonte and also the Nurse practitioner Megan Crane. My visit was very pleasant and did not take much time at all. Megan Crane is awesome she showed concern and she ensured that I would be feeling at least a little better than how I came in. Very please with the time waiting in lobby, time waiting in the back, and the great service received.

Everyone at the Taylor Crossing location was amazing. The front desk receptionist, LaToya, was polite and helpful. The nurse, Erica, was so nice and tentative to my medical needs as well as Egypt and Odessa. These ladies are amazing! Will definitely come back and recommend!

I would like to thank the NP for giving me the motivation to write my very 1st google review!!!I took my children to this location on yesterday. They were out of school due to their illness. They were only giving the one day out of school for their excuse to return today. However, this morning both kids are still sick and the youngest one hasnt been able to keep any food down. I called the office this morning at approximately 8:14am. I asked for an excuse for them to return tomorrow because they were still sick. I made sure that I reiterated that my youngest is still experiencing nausea and vomiting this morning. He hasnt kept any food down for the past 4 days. I received a phone back from the office staff and was informed that she would not provide them with an additional day because they had a common cold virus and didnt have a fever. But I could keep them out if I wanted to.Now here is the issue with this above statement: 1. I never just want to keep my kids out of school. If they miss school its for a reason. So that was an unprofessional comment that could have been kept! 2. Per their patient clinical summary; she diagnosed them both with: contact with and (suspected) exposure to covid-19.So, if the nurse practitioner diagnosed them with suspected exposure of covid-19; thus diagnosis isnt the same as a common cold. As well as we should have been referred to follow CDC guidelines. I should have been asked about a return to school date. The CDC website has guidelines for isolation and treatment for the diagnosis she gave them. The guidelines are the same for those who test negative with symptoms and those test positive w/wo symptoms.I have been using this location for years and her response to my request will more than likely make me take my business elsewhere. Also, I will encourage everyone I know to no longer go there as well. Ive noticed a very high turnover rate in this field. More than likely, she will be working somewhere else, and I will avoid there as well.So thank you again. I feel better expressing my experience. Hopefully, it will be helpful for someone.

I went there for a dot physical and Mr deep was so professional and very warming to talk to I don’t like doctors offices but he made it so soothing to be there most definitely recommend going there again it’s him and the whole staff is just amazing

I have always experienced great care and hospitality when I visit AFC-Taylor Crossing. My visit today was for my son’s physical for football and the young lady at the desk (Toya I think) was so informative during my call before the visit and the young lady that did all of my son’s vitals was a sweetheart as well. I’m and out, but thorough visit!

Kay Ponica was very helpful , outstanding worker definitely need more people like her !

I must say the amount of sympathy and empathy attention to detail the care and concern that was exonerated in my visit at this facility is nothing short of spectacular Tylesha Teri Odessa Nadia these ladies go above and beyond to make sure that you were comfortable. All your questions are answered and they never make you feel like you don’t matter when I say, I felt like I was the only patient there that day or the amount of care and concern that they showed me I will never go anywhere else.

My entire was a very smooth transition from check to getting to the. Erica was very polite,professional and so caring. I was feeling very bad and she was comforting and gentle.

I had a great visit today and was in and out great service.

Worst medical service I ever received. I have been in the medical field for over 8 years from Medical Administration to Medical Technologist. Front desk reception made me wait for hours due to being incompetent of insurance filing. Paid out my pocket for service because I was told my insurance wasn’t valid. I call my insurance company got it resolved and received a refund from the clinic I’m still waiting days later unacceptable. I went in for physical and lab work for surgery schedule in Georgia. I did not get a physical and I was stuck 5 times for blood work plus never seen a doctor. I called this morning & once again I can not be found in the system nor for lab results. I will be there on Wednesday which will be a week demanding my results! I do not recommend at all until current staff who was there Nov 2, 2022 is properly trained.

I can honestly sat that I have never had a bad experience at an AFC until yesterday and today. The AFC at the Taylor Road Crossing was awful. I waited 3 hours to be seen yesterday and there wasnt even a lot of patients there at all. ThenDr. Austin was very short and was rushing with me to the point that he didnt even correctly fill out my forms for workers comp. Then when I returned on today for him to finish filling out the paperwork, from the secretarys demeanor from relaying his messages, he was short again, rude, and unprofessional. He refused to finish filling out the paperwork correctly. Dr. Austin in my opinion is a racist, and a misogynist and he should retire. I am in the medical field and this was unacceptable. I will never come to this AFC again and I will tell others about this horrible experience as well.

Long wait but the staff was very nice. Erica who gave me my injection was very friendly and made me feel at ease.

I was greeted as I walked in with a warm smile and greeting. This is something I don’t always experience so it made me feel extremely welcome. The receptionist was very professional and friendly from beginning to end. The nurse Jalen that called me back also made me feel welcome with the bright beautiful smile. Dr. Okeke examined me with thoroughness and care. The atmosphere almost made me forget I was sick. I definitely recommend this facility.Monica

I came to the Urgent Care feeling very ill and the staff at the desk were helpful, attentive and thoughtful. I was called back and received the same experience from a friendly nurse.The doctor came in quickly and after asking questions and talking with me proceeded to explain the treatment she felt would help me the most and I was provided with printed instructions with the diagnosis and next steps. Given how sick I was I very much appreciated the service and care I received.

I came to AFC on December 15, 2018 around 4:00 p.m. I was greeted by the front office staff. They were polite and warm with their greeting. I didnt have my insurance card And had to go home to retrieve it , the staff was very understanding and didnt make me wait longer than neccessary. Once by name was call the back office staff was equally as pleasant and warm. The physician that I saw was great she listened to my complaints and treat me accordingly. It was a great experience even though I wasnt feeling well.

When you first walk in they all welcome you with a smile and say good morning. You arent there very long before you are seen by the doctor. Once you get in the room it takes only a few minutes before the docor walk in and asked how is your day and what brings you here today?. Everyone leaves there feeling like a millionaire. Plus you get the relief you need and before you leave , the receptionist asked would you like a follow up appointment within a week and whats a good time for you. I have never had such great customer service. I will be returning. Keep up the good work.😍

We have been to this clinic twice for after-hours care, once on a very busy night when my daughter needed stitches and just recently for a minor injury. Both times the wait was reasonable and the people at the front desk were friendly and polite. We were taken back quickly to be assessed by a medical tech and then a nurse or PA, not sure which. Again everyone we dealt with was kind, efficient and friendly. One of the reasons we chose this clinic was it stays open until 8pm and the others close earlier. But in the future we will just chose it because of the good quality of care.

I rate my visit with American Family Care as a 10.My visit was, thankfully, a quick one.Everyone was attentive and friendly, from the reception desk to the doctor,and the visit comprehensible.I received a follow-up appointment date and then,The next day, a phone call from a staff member to check and see how I was doing.That was a nice surprise and I appreciate it.

Dr Austin has always been great with his bedside manner and explanations of whats going with his patients medically. I truly appreciate a dr that is willing to listen. His nurse was very comforting also.

The working attitude and quality of this office were terrible! I got unspecified information about my body problem, I didn’t get any test in there but only one short for stopping problem temporarily. Then they suppose referred me to another doctor according to the prescription, but I never got any further appointment call from the relevant doctor since relieved me. I need call relevant doctor’s office again and again ask whether they received my referred information or not. Very frustrated and unpleasant experience.

Everyone was very nice and respectful. The medication prescribed was good I got well fast. They even call me at home to see how I was doing. Also, they set up a follow-up in ten days. But when I came back in ten days, no one knew why I came back.They charged another co-pay. They treated me as if it was the first time. My suggestion is they shouldnt do follow-up appointment just call and check on patients.

Had a wonderful experience at this location. Huge thank you to Erics P. And Jasmine W. both of these young ladies were extremely helpful and had great smiles throughout my visit. I will definitely make this my go to location because Erica with her great smile and warm personality makes a patient feel right at home as if it was my PVP. Great team there keep up the good work.

My experience was very pleasant. The staff and physician got me in and out promptly while sending my prescriptions ahead to my pharmacy. And Erica really made my day with her warming smile and concern for my comfort. Thank you AFC I plan on making you my stop each time Im in need of a doctor.

I was very pleased with everyone at this location. They all wore their masks, they separated the patients who remained in the building and allowed some to sit in their vehicles. They were very efficient in all of their efforts. The only problem I’ve had is waiting for a call from them about my COVID-19 testing, it’s been more than 5 days now. And every time I call, no one is answering the phone.

This has been, by far, my worst experience with any urgent care clinic. It’s not this specific location but the organization as a whole. Taylor Rd and East Chase staff were nice and as helpful as their employer allows.They have different websites for each clinic with none of them being the same. It is impossible to use their horrible little app to see results or even sign in at all! I have tried everything and their third party app provider is totally useless.I had a rude phone call from some lady that works at the Taylor Rd location this evening telling me that my lab results had come back for some titer levels I had drawn. She cut me off by saying I had to physically show up in the clinic to receive the results. Basically telling me that before I asked for them.This makes the THIRD time I am having to make SPECIAL trips of almost a hundred miles round trip, all because they are so behind the technology that they don’t put anything online for their patients to access.Trust and believe I will NOT be back to this company for anything unless they are literally the only option left and I am damn near death.

I was pleased with the care and immediate response of the staff. I needed to get a Covid test before returning to work and the bedside manners of nurse Shaquanda...was on point! She was gentle and sweet. I have been here several times and it has always been good care. Thanks!

I went in today with severe foot pain.Swelling, redness, numbness, burning. Im a heart patient, 6 heart attacks and 6 stents. The burning pain had me crying. NP asked what you want me to do? I was shockedDo somethingI want reliefImmediately she stated she couldnt give me gabapentin?? I never asked for gabapentin!! She was so stuck on gabapentin she cared less about looking at my foot, bloodwork, xray, medical history. Then offered to give me motrin!!?? Im a freaking heart patient and can not take ibuprofen due to my stents!! She wasnt aware??!! I dont want gabapentin, I want you to use your education to figure out what is wrong with my foot & give me something for to ease my discomfort till I could get into my heart dr. Im not a freaking pill popper & shopping for drugs!!! If you would have taken the time to learn about my medical history, you would see every prescription bottle I brought in with me has the same dr name on it.I will never be back to this location not unless I can see Dr Austin!!NP NEEDS A LITTLE MORE EDUCATION AND BEDSIDE MANNERSMy insurance better not get charged for a service never given.

I came in and was swabbed for strep but the doctor never looked at my throat. They prescribed me antibiotics and sent me home. Three days later I’m being admitted to the hospital with a tonsil abscess after having a CT scan. Maybe if they had looked they could have seen how extensive the swelling was.

This place is always the best. Staff is always friendly. They make you forget you are sick.

Dr. Austin was wonderful. He was very helpful and understanding. He provided my mother with the treatment and info she needed for her shingles.The reason I only gave 3 stars is because the office staff was not very friendly or helpful at this location.

Upon my arrival on, December 27 at 8:30 A.M., there were two individuals being attended to and a couple in line in front of me. Both individuals were completed at the same time and the couple was acknowledged for assistance, leaving the other receptionist open to assist me. She never acknowledge me but was more interested in the conversation with the the couple being helped by the other receptionist. To add insult to injury the physician or nurse practitioner on duty also engaged laughing and prolonging the conversation discussing going out the country, she even shared just returning from Jamaica. I was clear that I was of no importance even though I came in experiencing excruciating pain in my side. Due to their lack of service, I was forced to leave still in pain. I called to let them know what I had just experience I was given no apology no encouragement to return, even though I indicated I was pulling off and expressing the pain I was in. The individuals were rude and lack empathy and I pray no one ever experience this form of treatment anywhere ever.

Miss Mellie and Dr. Austin were absolutely wonderful and so very attentive and helpful! There was literally no wait time (they called my name before I could finish filling out the first page of paperwork). I would definitely recommend them and will return if/when acute issues arrive in the future.

If you are going to see patients up until 6 o’clock, please see patients up until 6pm. I was turned away yet there was a patient in the lobby who had just filled out a form. I understand the doctor was there by themselves all day, as a fellow healthcare worker I understand. But caring for the patients must come first and foremost! It was very frustrating that I went to two facilities and was unable to be seen by a single doctor. The front desk staff was nice but ineffective.

I go to this location because its close to my house. I will not be coming back to them for treatment. Dr. Kidd, Dixie has terrible bedside manner. The Dr. gave my Son his Diagnosis today and walked out the room without giving him any further instructions. The other staff members are pleasant.

Whats in your wallet? Better be a loan approval if you visit this place! The money grabbing ownership is the problem here!!! Had four stitches over eye one Saturday, paid co-pay, returned 7 days later to remove stitches and paid a second co-pay! What’s up with this?This is almost like purchasing a car, but the windshield wipers are extra! Like buying food at a supermarket and paying extra for the paper/ plastic bags!This is one of the reasons , in my view, why medical care and insurance is “sky high” and some politicians are talking about socialized medicine! What next, a “chair tax”in the waiting room of the Taylor Road AFC?
