I don’t really know where to start with Life Choices… they saved my baby’s life and for that I am eternally grateful. After recurrent losses, Dr Giron was able to work with me and help my body carry to term! In addition, they are knowledgeable in a more holistic approach to treating conditions. They take extremely great care of both of my sons. There is no one else I would trust with my boys!The team here are incredibly warm, welcoming, kind, knowledgeable, and supportive. They are truly amazing people.

I found this place after our pediatrician would no longer accept us due to not wanting to follow the recommended CDC schedule of jabs for our infant son. Life Choices respects medical choice, and it doesnt feel like they are trying to squeeze our benefits with our insurance policy or pushing treatments. The nurses are friendly. Dr. Giron is polite and approachable for questions. She recommended a great mineral-based sunscreen alternative to chemical-based ones. The only thing I found surprising is that they offer a fluoride tooth coat for infants, given that they promote holistic approaches in their practice, and of course, they are not dentists. My biological dentist that has practiced dentistry for over 30 years would never approve of that. But they were courteous in their offer and not pushy once I declined. Thank you, I recommend this practice.

Our family has had a wonderful experience with LifeChoices. We have been coming here for a year now, and we can say that we have never found a better practice. The entire staff is so supportive and truly care about their patients health and well-being. Their holistic approach to focusing on overall health is really beautiful, and we are so blessed to have found this practice!

Robyn is the best! We’ve had two ultrasounds with her, and she’s made us feel right at home every time we see her. She explains everything so you’re not left guessing or with a bunch of questions. We found out what we were having with her and her excitement made us feel like we were with family. We can not recommend her enough. Thank you Robyn!

Very thankful we found this place! I’ve been seeing Dr. Keenan for my first born and then my OB for my second pregnancy is also here, Dr. Angela. Every interaction I’ve had with the staff has been amazing. They all seem to love working here, and you can tell by how peaceful of an office it is and how well they care for their patients. Both prenatal and pediatric care has been great, always informative but never pushy. I’ve never had to wait very long or had any issues with insurance. I highly reccomend this place to new parents!!

Friendly, clean facility with smiling faces. Always ready to help with all your health care needs and aesthetic needs. You are treated like family with the professional attitude as well. Was highly recommend from children to adults.

Do not take any member of your family here. They used to have great doctors, but recently their providers are leaving the practice. It is impossible to get any kind of appointment, and good luck getting them on the phone. I am still waiting an hour past my appointment time for a Telehealth appointment, and keep getting put on hold just for them to hang up the phone. There is no communication, and they DO NOT care about the health of any of their patients. Avoid this place like the plague.

We have been seeing Dr. Keenan for a couple of years. He has excellent bedside manner and spends time with his patients. He takes a conservative approach and is knowledgeable in conventional medicine and natural alternatives. If you value a doctor who is considerate and listens to parents, this practice is great! The nurses have always been wonderful and the staff is very sweet. Highly recommend!!

Life Choices has an exceptional Sonographer, Robyn Palmeri, who I dont know what I would do without her patient care. Not only is she great for prenatal ultra sounds, but for ALL women issues that require sonography. She has a TON of experience and knowledge in her field, and she will put you at ease and talk you through your entire patient experience with her. I cant tell you the difference it makes to have a high quality pro-life Sonographer. The entire approach to medical care is different and much more holistic. Before finding her I had gone to another place, which was not pro life and much more profit driven. Their tactic was to scare me into surgery that I didnt want OR need. Robyn on the other hand has given me a full perspective on my issues which has allowed me to truly make the best choices for my health. Thank God for her!

If you need a fertility clinic (cant speak to that) as I am a 55 year old male, and had no business being seen.Took my 30 dollars before seeing me, over 500.00 charged to my ins. all to check my blood pressure! Literally did nothing else, and are saying I never paid my co pay even though they would not see me until I paid.Dr. John Keenan is a joke! I will end this as my blood pressure is rising, run from this clown.

Weve had a great experience at Life Choices for our whole family! From pediatric to prenatal care, its been such a better experience than at our previous doctors offices. Where they just fit in as many patients a day as possible and make you wait at minimum an hour just to see a doctor every single time.

This is a great team of doctors and medical staff who truly show care for every person they meet. It is truly holistic medicine. Unlike other clinics and doctor’s offices, they look into every way possible to help a person keeping a very pro life stance of both the baby and the mother. Highly recommend.

Life Choices Medical is so much more than just a primary care office. My first visit with them was so wonderful and I did not feel rushed out of the office. I have now started bringing my daughter here and I am getting woman’s care as well. They have values that align with mine and that is so hard to find. I am so grateful for this providers office!

Hands down the best doctors and medical staff ever! My daughter is currently 8 months old and we knew from her first visit that we chose the right doctors for her. Dr. Giron is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Our daughter’s pediatrician, Dr. Keenan has excellent bedside manners and has been a wonderful source of support for our family as we navigate both the sweetest and the most difficult moments in parenthood. We love them so much that both my husband and I are now patients at Life Choices as well! Needless to say, there aren’t possibly enough word in the dictionary to express how much we emphatically recommend seeking healthcare services from them! You would truly be in the best hands!

Our appointment was cancelled and they billed us a NO SHOW FEE of $50. We had every intention of showing. Front desk was unhelpful in resolving the issue.

I am so happy I found Life Choices Family Medical. I recommended it to my family and they all come here now. Our PC of many years died a few years ago. I tried a bunch of different offices and was not happy until I found this. They really listen to you and they care. The front office staff is also very nice and easy to work with. When you call on the phone its almost like calling a friend is how they treat you. Thanks for making us feel so comfortable here.

Can I borrow another 1,000 stars, please? 5 does not do it justice at all.I started going to LifeChoices for primary care in 2022, got my husband in as well, and now we are going for prenatal care and this is the only medical center our baby will know after shes born.What you can expect from their staff: professional medical care, clear communication, a loving environment and family-like treatment. They all (and I mean ALL - from the receptionist to the doctors and sonographer) clearly love what they do, and most importantly, they understand the value of people. You are not a file number to them (like in other medical places Ive been to), you are a valued patient and a friend.I am so thankful to have found this place and will not be going anywhere else for a very long time. I cannot recommend them enough!

Every appointment I have had at Lifechoices, the staff have taken great care of my husband and I. They care for patients in a holistic way and kept me at the center of the decision making. They are very thorough and answered all of my questions. I love Angela, my NP. She is sooo sweet and caring ❤️

Dr. Keenan is a wonderful doctor who takes time to listen to his patients and help them. He is wonderful with my 2 kids and is very knowledgeable and respectful. Highly recommend life choices!

Love this facility! I’ve been going here since 2016. This is where I have gone for my OB needs and where I take my children for their check ups. I love being at a facility that has a family doctor. We can all see and genuinely cares about us. They’re always welcoming and take really good care of us each time. And they’re very true to their appointment times compared to other places which is a big deal to me. I’m always recommending this place to other families. We love the nurse practitioner and family doctors here!

I recently brought my daughter to Life Choices. Everyone is so friendly and Angela, the Nurse Practitioner was very knowledgeable. Im so glad I found this caring team of medical professionals.

Ive always gotten excellent care when I come this medical office, whether is Dr Giron, Dr Keenan, and Angela (the nurse practitioner) who is seeing me. Not only Im a patient here, but Im also a financial supporter, donating monthly, because I believe others should be able to get the same level of life-affirming, dignified health care, regardless of your age, race, sex, background, social status, or religious views.

We’ve seen Dr. Keenan for a couple years with 4 small kids, so that’s a lot of well visits. The nurses are wonderful and Dr. Keenan is good. But the policies and front desk staff negate all of it.We have never needed a sick visit until this week. My daughter was very sick and we called at 7 am, they were closed and said to call back. There’s no emergency line, nurse line or any way to speak to someone besides the front desk. I called at 8:01 and left a message asking to get her in. At 10 am, I called again and they said they were booked. I asked what the process was because we’ve never had a sick visit. We called the second they opened and never heard back. She said they’d get to us eventually, but they wouldn’t see her until Monday no matter what was going on with her. I get it - there’s only so many hours in the day.We took her to urgent care, and they weren’t able to order a specific test. They called LCFM and the same person said they wouldn’t help without an appointment and wouldn’t do it until next week. The urgent care doc said he’s never experienced anything like that at a doctors office and advised we find another doctor.I called and spoke to someone else and tried to explain what was going on with her. Urgent care said if she didn’t improve by Monday, she should be hospitalized. The test would allow us to diagnose and start treatment immediately, so we really needed to get it today. Repeatedly, this woman told me everyone was too busy and they wouldn’t help. She finally said I could sit on hold and maybe someone would get to the phone but she couldn’t guarantee it. Or I could leave a message and see IF someone would have time to call me later. But even if I did talk to someone, they still wouldn’t order the tests without seeing her and wouldn’t do that until next week. I told her that by the time they see her, she will be hospitalized. This horrible excuse for a human said, “Then you should follow their advice and hospitalize her next week.” What kind of monster wants a child hospitalized when they could help prevent it?This isn’t the first (or even 10th) issue we’ve had with the front office staff. Billing is a nightmare, changing insurance is impossible, and it’s not just incompetence although there’s a lot of that. They’re also mean spirited people. It’s really a shame that a decent doctor chooses such heartless and ignorant people to work there. We are going to take the advice of every other medical professional we saw about this and find a new doctor.

We love Life Choices Family Medical. We’ve been bringing our baby to Dr. Keenan ever since our home birth. Dr. Keenan is so kind, smart, and extremely gentle. It’s easy to get an appointment and we never have to wait long at the office. Highly recommend!

My whole family are patients at Life Choices and we could not be happier with the service we are provided there. The doctors are kind, patient, and caring. They really take time to listen to you and help you find the best solutions. I am so happy with the pediatric care for my 1 and 5 year olds. Both doctors are informed, ready to hear from you your instincts as to whats going on, and pro-active to get the best results. Ive also had a great experience there with GYN care. All around a fantastic clinic, a medical staff who are great at what they do and who care. Definitely recommend!

This clinic helped me when I miscarried and had another successful pregnancy! Never was I steered in any direction and always gave me hope. One of the best clinics I ever had with amazing staff that really care about their patients. I am with baby #2 and their customer service has been exceptional! I recommend times a million!

Love, love, love!! Switched my daughters pediatric care to Life Choices when she was 2months old, and I wish I would have done it sooner! Dr. Giron is amazing! Within the first appointment, she pinpointed the issue we were having with formula, and suggested a switch right away, and my little one has been doing amazing on it! Dr. Keenan also helped us set-up a personalized feeding schedule that has helped tremendously. Most doctors view all babies on the same scale and generalize care, but not here!The doctors here TRULY care, and actually sit down and talk to you and take the time to answer every question you have. The nurses are always in a good mood, and you can tell they all love what they do. I would follow these docs anywhere, and to me, it is totally worth the 40-minute drive.

Lifechoices Family Medical is a wonderful family medical practice. It is a strong Catholic medical practice that does not think that pills are the answer to every ailment. They actually listen to your concerns and give you honest feedback.

This group of medical professionals are dedicated to the health and wellness of Mom’s, Mom’s to be and their families.They believe in the sanctity of life and the beauty of Motherhood. They support the whole family in preparing for a new precious life as well as ongoing care for Mom’s and babies.They assist women with all sorts of assistance especially with low income women who need help with pregnancy and infant care. They also do take private insurance patients who could go elsewhere but they choose Life Choices for the support and just great medical care they are provided.Some reviews hit them hard because they do not advocate the termination of pregnancies and believe that birth control can be achieved in natural ways.A women has a choice to go elsewhere if Life Choices does not meet their needs. I do not see the reason to denigrate this organization because of their beliefs.I have written this review to be sure that the truth about Life Choices is available to those seeking the life affirming care they offer.

The clinic is very welcoming and the staff is friendly! Scheduling an appointment was quick and I was able to see a provider in one week. When I scheduled my appointment, over the phone, I told the receptionist I needed to make an appointment for a bump on my breast and to get my annual physical, including blood work.She said, lets make an appointment for your breast first. I agreed. When I arrived at the clinic, the provider saw me quickly and the assistant took my information. I love that all the paperwork is sent via email, that way the clinic has all the information prior to my visit. The provider, Angela, was very nice. She explained the results of my previous ultrasound and ordered a new one. Once I was at the front desk I reminded the front office assistant that I needed to make an appointment with the provider for my annual physical, pap, and blood work. The provider returned and told me well get that done on your next appointment.On my next appointment, I felt very rushed. During triage, the assistant asked about my diet which is plant-based. She typed on the computer and I assumed the provider was going to review that. Once we got my pap done, the provider said she was going to order the blood work but didnt return to the room to discuss which tests she was going to order. I assumed she checked the chart, where the assistant included my diet information, to order the correct lab orders. The provider did not return to the room to discuss the lab orders or ask if I had questions. She did not listen to my heart or lungs. She did not check my ears or throat. I had to call the office a couple of days later to ask if vitamin D and B12 could be added to my blood work since I could be deficient in those due to my diet.I was hoping to get better treatment or experience since Tampa Family Health Centers patient care has declined. I paid for a service that was half done. Keep in mind I only go to the doctor once a year for a physical and blood work. Besides those little things, about my annual physical, everything else was great!

The doctors and staff at LifeChoices are top notch. They are caring, considerate, knowledgeable, and take time to answer your questions and concerns. I chose for my daughter and me to be patients here because they are intentional about allowing for the family’s autonomy and choice making. They also are advocates for the sanctity of life, which is a foundational ideal to my family and me as well. Now other family members and friends have become patients here because of my recommendation, and they all have had the same positive experiences.I highly recommend LifeChoices!

Life Choices is incredible - open minded family doctor. Open minded nurses and staff. No judgments one way or another regarding medical choices. Fantastic with kids and babies - we had our first appointments for both kids last month and weren’t rushed in the slightest. Complete informed consent regarding any “procedures.” Considering I haven’t been back to a pediatrician since my first was 1 and he’s now 4, I was really happy with this office!

This is my second pregnancy and it has been AMAZING so far thanks to LifeChoices! They have made me feel like I have a voice, that I don’t have to be pushed to do things I don’t want to do, and have made me and my baby feel valued! My family and I will be patients here for life!

They are full of wonderful women working there. I was a part of their group before they became a full blown medical facility. They were called Guiding Start then. Where their mission is to help families learn about a wide array of things and have a positive place. To help woman and their families get together and build a community. This is where I found out I was pregnant with my surprise second baby. Since their facility at that time was still growing I didn’t get the chance to use the OBGYN there. But know MANY families who have successfully birthed through them. I will also say if it wasn’t for them when I was in need, I wouldn’t have been as such of a successful mother I am now. The center has helped me with the classes they offered, get through my postpartum and also old childhood trauma. They became like family.

LifeChoices is a fantastic doctor’s office. Our entire family uses them as our primary care doctor. Dr. Giron saw our baby for the first few newborn visits after we came home from the hospital and we have seen Dr. Keenan for wellness check ups. The office staff is so friendly and we don’t feel like we are being rushed through our appointments. I plan to get my prenatal care there the next time around too, or will go there for help with infertility if we have difficulty getting pregnant again.

I love Guiding Star, this is my first pregnancy and I love how caring and supportive all the staff has been. Our first visit with the Robyn the ultrasound tech made me feel so comfortable and excited for my journey and our new baby and the midwife Tammy is also very open and responds to my inquiries and calls. I also love the nurse practitioner Angie she usually is the one I speak with if needed to call the after hours numbers or for further support and Marissa is the Patient Service Manager who is always ready and available to assist with any concerns. The communication is amazing and they offer videos that’s informative and give you insight along your pregnancy on any topic you decide. This was the best decision for care and I’m so happy I found them. They are genuine and actually take the time with you and helps you to prepare and support you.

I was so scared when my 2mo old daughter had an episode on a Friday night after hours. However the on call service got back to me right away and everything was taken care of with my baby girl 100% back to normal!

Love this office! I recently had to switch to a new doctors office for prenatal care because the last one didn’t take my insurance. This place is by far the better of the two though. The nurses and doctors treat you with so much kindness and respect and don’t just act like you’re another patient on a list. They really try and get to know you and care about everything you say and answer all your questions. It felt very warm and homey in the office and I loved that environment. I really wish I found out about them sooner! Marissa and Tammy were wonderful and I couldn’t ask for better service.

After hearing so many good things about Life Choices from friends, my husband and I decided to check out Lifechoices today for our primary care. We both got our annual exams. My husband met with Dr. Keenan and I met with a nurse practioner. We both had wonderful experiences and our health questions were answered respectfully and thoroughly. After looking for a good, competent doctor for years, we have finally found one! We are hoping to move our children over to this medical facility as well for their next well visits!

I am a type one diabetic patient. I got pregnant, and it was our miracle baby for us. I had two miscarriages before. They call me a geriatric patient. They took my insurance, they saw me twice and they did the ultrasound, but when we could finally see the doctor (I was super scared since I didnt want to lose my baby and I have been taking extremely good care of myself to not experience a miscarriage) the doctor (who was also pregnant at the time) was extremely direct an had ZERO empathy for us and said straightforward that I should be prepare for a miscarriage since Im a type one diabetic, basically Im old and I needed to take better care of myself, ...and on top of that she added that she doesnt know how the other assistants didnt notice I was a type one diabetic, and they couldnt help me any longer since I was a liability, that I needed to find another doctor or medical center to help me. We were devastated with that answer and I couldnt say a word to how this unprofessional doctor handled our situation. We were clueless on who to go, since we were at our 14 weeks of the pregnancy. They also put the wrong codes to our lab tests and we are still fighting with the insurance and Quest to remove the over $1k in charges for blood tests they tried to charge us (with insurance) and that they never fixed after we had to contact them several times for this to be fixed.Thank God, after submitting our documents to several doctors and desperately trying to find an OB/GYN who could assist me while I was pregnant and trying to get medical assistance and not be anxious thinking our baby could have died at any time, I was accepted at The Tampa General Hospital, which I DO recommend 100%, and they were extremely nice and empathetic with our situation and our Miracle baby was born last year with ZERO complications.If you are a mom with ANY type of complications, I recommend you to NOT EVEN THINK of this place and go straight to the TGH!

I am very impressed with the care my baby has received from LifeChoices. My husband and I will be going for ourselves, too. Marianna Giron is the pediatrician who has been seeing my baby. The whole office experience has been wonderful - the front desk staff are polite and professional when I arrive, the nurses are helpful and seem like the genuinely care about me and my baby, and Dr. Marianna is calming, attentive, and gentle with my baby (all of this being the complete opposite of the original pediatrician I was seeing when I lived in Jacksonville). Another huge bonus is that every time Ive visited the office, I am in and out within an hour of arriving, at most - this is something I once thought was unachievable in the medical field! They dont waste your time here. I am so thankful for a doctor office that actually aligns with my values, too, and promotes the sanctity of life. Its sad that not many other doctor offices have such good and high moral values, but this makes LifeChoices a no-brainer for medical care. When my baby was sick, the whole office was very understanding towards me and took extra time to check over my baby to ensure she was safe and in no danger. I will be staying with LifeChoices for as long as I live in this area, and highly encourage and recommend anyone who wants good medical care to do the same.

Dr. Keenan is amazing and caring. He is Very knowledgeable and his staff is also amazing. They take their time and are very patient and gentle with your child. We travel an hour to come here.

Easily 5 Stars! This place is amazing! Called in this morning and was able to get a same day appointment. Beautiful, clean office with professional staff who love what they do. Much needed services for women. Even if you do not have insurance, you can still get the assistance you need - a comprehensive wellness exam funded by the state...wow, go Florida! Womens health is extremely important especially as we age. I even received two free books on aging!

This place is absolutely AMAZING...i mean the entire staff is incredibly caring, knowledgable, efficient, and always make you feel special. My daughter was referred to Guiding Star when she found out she was pregnant (at 5 months along) and no insurance. They saw us immediately (the day we called) and have been with us the entire way. (Now 8.5 months) My daughter had no insurance and now has a great paying job and insurance ....but she loves this staff so much she wont change to another place....and I dont blame her. This place AND staff is WONDERFUL..

What a fantastic group of doctors and nurses work at this Medical Clinic. They choose holistic medicine over chemicals, invasive procedures, etc. for the health and welfare of the entire family. Yes, they serve the entire family!!! It is a blessing to the Community at large to have such services as alternatives to the many other narrowly-focused clinics, most WITHOUT doctors providing service. The staff and medical providers are excellent. I first came to LifeChoices Family Medical for fertility treatment and have been treated respectfully. My husband has seen providers for holistic and alternative care for treatment as well. Im now under the Obstetrics and Obgyn care as Ive recently become pregnant. This is a nurturing and caring practice with a wide range of services from pediatrics to family medical providers I Lutz and Land O Lakes, FL. I especially love seeing the ultrasound tech Robin who brightens anyones day.

Being a naturally minded mama & having a passel of vey healthy children, we dont typically go to conventional doctors unless theres an emergency. However, upon moving to the greater Tampa Bay area, we heard such amazing things about LifeChoices Family Medical that we decided to check out for ourselves. This group is indeed fabulous. They listen, they respond quickly when you leave a message, they argue with the insurance to get your meds covered, they dont always reach for medication when a natural treatment is available, & they dont rotate you through in 2 minutes like an assembly line. Its worth the 30 minutes drive. We recommend LifeChoices Family Medical to everyone who asks for the best doctors in the area.

LifeChoices is a dedicated provider of pro-life and pro-family medical care. We have used them for the past few years and have always received quick and compassionate services from all of the doctors and staff. It’s about an hour drive for us, but I wouldn’t recommend anywhere else!

They use to be great when they were guiding star but they’ve changed everything since then. I went to them for my first pregnancy so I figured I’d go for my second too. However I’ve been going for four months and have yet to see the actual doctor (Mariana Giron) and now I’m supposed to go in for my 6 month check up with Angela Bumpus and although she is great, she’s not the real doctor and they’ve now informed me that they will no longer be accepting my insurance. The ladies at the front desk seem nice but over the phone they continuously interrupt you and have zero professionalism. I’m very upset with the downfall of this once great OB-GYN

I absolutely love this FAITH BASED practice and group of providers!!! The women here have made me feel nothing short of important, cared for, and like me and my baby’s health are their first priority! I am an Abortion Reversal Patient so as it being an emotional journey to begin with, this office of women brought me and baby right in with open arms and ready to provide exceptional comfort and service! I look forward to every appointment I have with them as we keep up with baby’s growth and development until we finally get to me face to face! Robyn is excellent and makes me feel so connected to baby on every sono appointment, and Marissa is such a loving and caring person with a huge heart and is always there as a shoulder and listening ear in this emotional journey! I absolutely LOVE Guiding Star Tampa!!!

I can’t say enough good things about this office! I saw dr Johnathan Keenan regarding my son who was having serious neurological concerns. He took the time to ask me my concerns and then give me educated conclusions and gave me a list of referrals so I could be seen by specialists. The symptoms my son was experiencing were so concerning I told him I was gonna go to the emergency room and he took his time to call emergency rooms in the area so that I could know for certain that I would be seen. Who does that? People who care!! I am so happy with this office and will be using them for all our family needs.

Dr Keenan is a wonderful man and doctor. i have been thrilled with the care for myself and my children. i wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I am very happy I found this OB/Gynecologist. Dr. Angela is very caring and always very helpful with all of my questions. I love coming here because all of the staff is so happy and caring. Marissa always comes out and says hi and checks on how I’m doing and feeling. I’ve never had this experience anywhere else. Also, Robin was so pleasant and fun during my ultrasound. I have been a patient at Lifechoices medical for over 3 years. I started there for womens health, tradition all my health care there and now am getting my prenatal care. Every single person I have had the pleasure of working with as a patient have not only thorough listen to my concerns, but always provide me options and allow me to be part of my health. I have never felt spoke at, ignored or neglected. I feel comfortable voicing my concerns and know I will always get the best care and preventive measure when necessary. I have been so happy with my care as soon as they transitioned into a full family practice I had my husband transfer over here as well. I cant recommend this facility more.

I recently moved to the Tampa Bay Area and I am 7 months pregnant. I was looking for prenatal care that would be caring and cost efficient as I would be paying out of pocket. Guiding Star was everything I needed and more. They returned my phone call to schedule an appointment the same day and I was able to get an appointment the next day. The staff was very helpful and kind. After just one visit it is clear that I made the right decision for my prenatal care.

When looking for a place to have my prenatal care I was referred to guiding star only so it was only right that I checked them out. The entire staff is nice and friendly and they always inform you on everything their going to do before they do it wish is always nice. Every time I come in I’m greeted by everyone wish I absolutely love and they are always asking me how I’m feeling. Guiding star is a safe, nice and clean environment and I’m happy I chose them for my prenatal care.

We took our daughter to LCF after she began experiencing blackouts when standing. Dr Keenan took the time to explain possible causes and create a plan to investigate the root cause of her issue. We appreciate the time he took to talk to our daughter and make her feel at ease (especially since she gets anxious around doctors). We highly recommend Life Choices Family Medical. As Catholics, we appreciate going to a place where our views, concerns and practices are respected and regarded.

I am currently receiving OB care by Angela Bumpus here and I am so very happy with my decision to come here. The office is clean, and organized with cute decor. The sonogram room might be my favorite room in the place! And I adore Robyn who does the sonograms! The staff is kind and helpful. Angela is patient, informative and very welcoming. The care I receive is well worth the nearly hour drive to get there! Praying for the day they open another office closer to me so I can take my whole family for the multiservice care they provide!

Im on Medicaid and was having trouble finding a good ob clinic that I liked that took my insurance. I tried two others and just didnt feel like they were going to be a good fit. The ladies at the office were super friendly and helpful, and helped me figure out which insurance option I could switch over to that they would accept. They have a really nice education component where you watch videos and stuff and then get some fake money to shop in their cute little on site baby boutique or get free/discounted sonograms. Marissa is wonderful, as well as the rest of the office staff and Im really happy with Tammara as my provider!

I have been seeing Nurse Practitioner Tammara Taylor and her staff for several years now. I work on cruise ships, and I do not have any insurance because of that. Im so appreciative to Tammara for helping people who do not have any insurance.She and her staff and incredibly kind and professional. She is very pro-woman and its obvious through her work and demeanor that she truly CARES for women and wants to help them be the healthiest, best version of themselves that they can be.Shout out to Luisa, as well, who works at the front desk--she is so empathetic and caring. I love all of the ladies here! They are always so pleasant and really happy to be apart of your journey of becoming a new mommy. I do not have insurance, as a self-pay client I can tell you they are very affordable. They also have a lot of ways to earn while you learn where you can use mommy bucks to buy clothes and supplies for your baby as well as discounts on ultrasounds! I even recommended my boss to them for hormone therapy, she could not be happier with her results and support. Thank you Guiding Star Tampa!

Life choices has been amazing for my family. I wasn’t sure what to expect but am so glad I have dr Giron as a PCP. She has been amazing with me-always taking time to listen to my concerns, explaining what she’s ordering and why, and never being dismissive. The whole office makes you feel welcome and like they actually care about your health- not jusy physical but mental as well.

This place is amazing. Friendly staff, always clean, always kind, they really do treat us like family. The staff here is very professional and knowledgeable with a very rare amount of patience and understanding not soon now a days. I highly do recommend this place to anybody whos pregnant. The online videos they provided were also extremely detailed and helped fill in a lot of gaps that I didnt know/could find out on my own. I love Guiding Star, I went in for my first pregnancy and immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. Everyone you encounter is a ray of sunshine from the point you check in until you check out. They have a variety of items and information to help and guide everyone to a safe and secure pregnancy term. LOVE them so much, i went back for my second pregnancy, they are Family at this point.

I chose Guiding Star because of the great reviews; however, these reviews do not do this place justice! From the front desk, all around they are just a wonderful group of people! Everyone makes you feel so comfortable and relaxed from the time you arrive until the time you leave. For those who have a busy schedule like myself, they are always willing to work with me throughout the week to make sure I get the special care and attention that I deserve. They have made my life 1000x easier by adding Earn While You Learn Classes online. My boyfriend and I have two different schedules therefore it is harder to get us both into a class at the same time. With this online program, we have both taken full advantage and have been utilizing our evenings to enjoy the videos while preparing for our babys arrival. For those who are pretty tech-savvy, the office has their own online portal to keep track of your medical appointments and notes. I would recommend this place to any women pregnant or not, I can assure you, you will be in great hands!

I absolutely love LifeChoices Family Medical. Ive been a patient with them since December of 2021. Prior to becoming a patient at LifeChoices I was under the impression that I had PCOS, and that it would be almost impossible for me to conceive, as that is what my prior doctors office advised. I had been trying to conceive for 8 years! Well, after working with Angela and Robyn they confirmed that I do NOT have PCOS, and in February of 2022 I had my first positive pregnancy test in 8 years!!! In 2 short months they were able to help me achieve something that I had been trying to do for 8 years! That in itself is a blessing. Sadly, I experienced a miscarriage, but Angela and Robyn were able to give me something that I didnt have prior to becoming their patient, and thats hope. Not to mention they were so supportive, caring, and understanding. Not once did they make me feel as though I was alone in this process. The entire office staff sent me a card to let me know that I was in their thoughts. What other doctors office takes the time to send you a handwritten card to let you know that theyre thinking of you? Honestly, if youre looking for a doctors office that is going to look at you as a person, and not just another number this is the place to go!

I have been going to this clinic for about 5 years. I am a clinical practitioner as well and I see first hand how the impact of a holistic approach can be more effective and healthier to my reproductive health. I researched Napro Technology and The Creighto methods which are scientifically proven and supported by medical professionals which I have used both to help me with my poly cystic fibrosis that had caused irregular bleeding and extended bleeding during my period. I have a doctorate degree and I just don’t go with what’s in the media. I used my own research and found that this clinic is in line with a wholistic approach to reproductive health.Dr Mariana Giron is an amazing doctor and had helped me even to consider getting COVID vaccine or not. She doesn’t push on anything on you. She educate me and let me make my decisions.Keep up the good work!

When I first started going to guiding star, I wasn’t able to get Medicaid yet and Rosa helped find me the best plan with them that didn’t cost me so much out of pocket til I was able to receive Medicaid. Tammy is awesome and makes sure that I’m always taken care of and informed about the health of my baby and me. Marissa is so sweet and answers any questions I may have and makes sure I know that I can ask for any help at any time.

Love this place! The women are warm, friendly, and caring. The facility is modern and clean. The nurse practitioner who did my annual exam was very professional and timely. I was so happy to be referred here and that they accept my insurance. I, also, attended a mother-daughter event about the young ladies upcoming bodily changes. FANTASTIC experience. My girls and I still discuss the information they learned during that day. And I referred a young friend who didn’t have insurance and she was able to have her annual exam on a sliding fee commiserate with her income. She was very happy with that. Guiding star is heaven sent . I have Medicaid and it’s really hard finding a clinic that takes my insurance and if I do find some where I usually have to compromise the quality of service I’m getting as a patient which isn’t something I want to compromise when it comes to a situation as delicate and serious as being pregnant for the first time and having a baby . With guiding star that’s not the case. They take my insurance and the way they treat me as a patient is amazing . I don’t even feel like just another patient they make me feel like family because they really show how much they do care even the receptionist . Thank u guiding star

This place is a gift from God. We had difficulties conceiving. They helped my wife get to know her body, she conceived, and gave birth to our little miracle back on Mothers Day in 2020. New patient since June 2019- I am so pleased with my experience at Guiding Star Tampa. The entire staff are welcoming and friendly. They are eager to answer any and all questions I have. They genuinely want to help you in any way and have a wealth of resources with books you can borrow, in person classes you can attend and online video resources. You can even earn points for attending or watching. Those points can earn you free stuff at your next appointment. So pleased I found Guiding Star Tampa and would recommend it to any of my girlfriends.

Front desk receptionist is the epitome of who not to hire for patient relations. She started mocking a friend on the phone for speaking up on my behalf. As a patient who went to doctor Angela because I trust her since I moved to Tampa she was my first doctor even after I got insurance I choice to go to her this time I’m so disappointed and sad about what happened to me with the front desk and a manager I don’t think any women in my health situation can handle this I went to the first appointment to see what’s going on with me and Doctor asked me to do some lab work and some scans when I went back to see the results they asked me to pay again which doesn’t make no sense. My first visit wasn’t complete. If I came back for another reason I will understand but I went back to see the results. Until now, I don’t know what’s going on with me The blood work and scans ready when I called the front desk she told me we can explain to you the bloodwork tests but for the scan you have to pay.i called back I left a msg to the manager to call me cz I need someone to explain to me everything no I e called I payed 130$ for no answer and It’s wrong to allow ur patient to walk out with results they can’t read . Money hungry medical office is the least I can say

I can’t speak to their actual care because I have been unable to get in contact with anyone at this office. I have tried to call multiple times and have only gotten voicemail. I’ve left 2 messages over the past couple of weeks and haven’t heard back and I’ve submitted an online request for appt and also haven’t heard back from that. I have a friend who goes here and she loves it, but my inability to reach anyone in the office is frustrating.

Guiding star is the safest place I have ever been, they help lots of women providing information in how to handle parenting, pregnancy, relationships, healthy , breastfeeding classes, art class, and other amazing programs all to help and support women and families. There is always someone there ready to listen, help and be there when is need it. I know guiding start 5 years from now and this is my favorite place. They help me a lot when I was pregnant. And after delivers they are always there for me, now that Tammy is there I like to go with her, they always find a gental way to take care of our body and provide the service we need.

The ladies at guiding star are incredible. They make you feel not only welcome to the facility but you feel they truly care. The help they give you is wonderful and they also help you educate yourself when it comes to every aspect of becoming a parent...Until they changed everything and it is now (life choices and not guiding star) and made me feel unwelcome at my latest visit. It is no longer about moms and the kids. The whole process checking in alienated me and made me feel like patient 1001 and not Sara. It used to be warm and welcoming and now feels cold and sterile. I used to look forward to all the mommy groups, special events...even Santa for the kids....nope...no more ....sad very sad it has changed into something I no longer want to be a part of.....

Guiding Star is amazing! The staff here are so thoughtful and caring. They have made me feel very comfortable at each appointment. They offered baby clothes, diapers, car seats, formula. Absolutely 5 stars and recommended to any women.

Patient wait time is too long. Every appointment that I’ve had has resulted nearly an hour wait. The last appt being 2 hr wait with no explanation. I had a scheduling mix up because I had back to back appts. My phone confirmation was for 1 time however they tried to charge me a late fee. Go somewhere else that values your time and not just your dollars.

I found out that I was pregnant at a early stage and I was seeing Dr. Giron! She is an amazing Doctor, so caring, asking all kind of questions that I may have or my husband. She even respond to my text when I was having bleeding while working. (Also, for those who are spanish speaking like me that can feel comfortable talking the language). She will be in maternity leave soon, now I will be seeing Dr. Bumpus. I hope that she will be as good as Dr. Giron!I want it to also mention that all staff member are so friendly and the office it’s super clean! I took advantage of Guiding Stars free annual physical, pap smear, and lab results for uninsured women program today. The facility is very aesthetically pleasing, and Gigi, the friendly receptionist, greeted me right away. I was taken care of by Haley who prepped me for seeing Tammy, the nurse practitioner who was going to do the pap smear for me. The whole team treated me so well and was very professional. Haley and Tammy were both very thorough in explaining everything to me and asking if I had any questions. If you dont have insurance but want to receive treatment from someone who makes you feel comfortable and truly cared for, then I recommend giving Guiding Star Tampa a call!

Guiding Star Tampa helps us continue to save Babies lives!I had some concerns about my last visit ans shared those with the Executive Director, who took matters in the case & instituted new procedures to prevent from my concerns to be experienced by someone else. When things are not perfect, there is always room for improvement, sifts skills are key for patient satisfaction. I will come back to this practice because of the way this matter was handled.

I have been using Guiding Star for my OBGYN care since I found out I was pregnant. Guiding Star definitely has a way of making you feel at home. My fiancé and I literally count down the days for our next appointment not only because we look forward to our check-ins with our baby, but because the staff is so enjoyable. I remember when it was time for me to get my blood work, I was actually in tears because I hate needles, one of the nurses came into the room and started telling me jokes to make me laugh and it was nice to not feel scared for the first time in my life getting blood drawn lol. Great place with great people! Ive tried many places to get prenatal care and this is the only place weve liked enough to continue going to. Theyre extremely helpful with answering questions, helping with insurance, payment plans, and their earn while you learn program. Theres really nothing I dont like about this place!

This clinic is awesome! They do female medical care, but they do family and personal medical care too!. They are very caring and thoughtful. Highly recommend them for anybody wanting to have a one stop shop for all of their medical needs!

We began seeing Dr. Giron for elderly care in 2020. Medical care in the midst of a pandemic had become increasingly distant and our 79 year old loved one was so lost with her care team that we made the change. What a great decision! The office staff, nursing staff, and doctor have all treated our mom with incredible dignity and patience. They never rush her, they patienty listen to her concerns, and they see her as an individual. Dr. Giron requested all past medical records and she looks at the whole person. Finally someone that is interested in the complete picture and not just the one immediate symptom. Their communication with us and the ALF staff has been superior. The patient portal is monitored and questions are answered. Our family cannot be happier with the services provided by our new medical home. Highly recommend.

These guys are the secret gem!If you are looking for an OB that actually cares, doesn’t push pills and goes natural route (unless medical interventions needed) look no further! I have been in their care for the past two years and absolutely feel home every time I go there! From the front desk to the end everyone treats and sees women as God made them, worthy, beautiful, and important and most importantly cared and loved unconditionally.They also provide a ton of educational classes, giveaways, and my favorites are the play room with childcare! Which hands down no OB office locally has gone that far in providing for their patients!I love this Office and each and every person in it! God is doing great things through them! Im so so thankful especially that they offer the abortion reversal pill if the mom changes their heart an option which is so important and yet so unoffered’ in our community.

This place is great! I am a mother of 8 and at least half or more of my kids are Twinkle babies. That is what a newborn is called when the mom has connected with Life Choices medical clinic. I have been going there since before this place even had healthcare available. To say that these women have been a blessing from the 1st day I walked into their door, is an understatement. I went in looking for help with baby formula because WIC was not enough and at that time, it was too expensive. I found a place of peace and refuge. I would go in and talk with these women, I always had a toddler or 2 with me and they never seemed to mind. Sometimes I would cry and others I would laugh. I learned how to be a better parent because of these women. Every time I went they would give me MOMMY $$$$ in exchange for me just coming in and spending time there. I used those toward formula, baby food, clothing, and I recall getting a nursing pillow, a highchair, a Bumbo and much more. I remember when Anna Hidalgo would talk to me about the future plans of having a medical clinic and healthcare for all women, and I have to say that it is a blessing to know that they have reached that dream and then some. One time I needed a sonogram and didnt even have Medicaid so they helped me and I got a sonogram there. If youre pregnancy is unplanned or not, if youre equipped or not, if you have everything that your baby needs or not, and if you have had your baby or not I 110% encourage you to call and make your first appointment.

Guiding Star is a medical center that is women empowering other woman to succeed in life with great confidence. It helps women with no insurance or even with insurance they are amazing! Very knowledgeable woman. The most wonderful and sweet staff always make sure youre being helped out and if you have kids they have someone certified and more then willing to watch the kiddos. Guiding star also has fun art classes, and an earn while you learn program. Which is so good for you. Each visit you can pick a video to watch in a comfy room with toys for the kids and with someone and just talk about what you seen in the video that you want to know more about. Or relationships you have. Or whatever you want to talk about they are there and willing to listen and give great advise. Which is a great feeling!! Also you can earn mommy bucks in doing this. Then you can buy wipes,diapers, cloths and much more from their botique. It helps tremendously!! They always make me laugh, even when i would come in so stressed out. I always left feeling a thousand times better about my situation. If you want or need healthcare providers that are there for you with more then just your physical medical needs this is the place for you!! We always feel so welcomed and i know you will too.

I’m uninsured and in my late 20’s and this place was a life saver! I needed a well woman’s exam and 4 lab tests ordered by my primary care doctor. That was going to cost over $500 at my PCP. They did it all here for free! Not only that, but the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They made me feel so welcome. I felt very light-headed and sick after getting my blood drawn (always happens to me), and they stayed with me, got me water and crackers, held a washcloth on my neck and rubbed my back until I felt better. Needless to say, I’ll definitely be coming back here.

From the first visit, I knew I had found something special. Rosa went above and beyond trying to help my family afford prenatal care out of pocket, working out a payment arrangement for us. I praise God I ended up with insurance, but still appreciate that I had a plan no matter what! I have a 3 year old son who is always a challenge(keeping my prayer life strong!! 😂) , and He did not want to leave! Never once did they make me feel like a burden although his little voice was audible throughout the office! Haha. He LOVED the time we were there, and they made him feel so special. This was a major deciding factor in my choice!! We are so blessed to have found Guiding Star!!

Guiding star has given me so much hope in the prenatal, ob/gyn, realm while i have discovered I am pregnant. I had a horrible experience with Florida Womens Care where they told me I basically wouldnt have babies without Metformin due to having PCOS, then flustered me out of their office. Guiding Star showed me all of that was false in my first initial well womans visit there, and explained so much about my health and hormones. A couple months later, we found out we are expecting. They are SO PERSONABLE, soo honest. Reasonable. They are truly women helping women and every nurse, Robyn the ultrasound tech- And Dr. Tami Taylor are THE BEST. they care so much about each womans journey, their well being, their questions- they just have totally changed the game. They make me trust medicine again and feel safe with myself and my baby. They also have a rewards program, earn while you learn. They help moms prepare with support groups, classes, give incentives like free ultrasounds and diapers!!! They are what every office should be.

Unfortunately, those five stars were too good to be true. One of the receptionists - I didnt catch the name of the person. I called back after setting up my first appointment with them to set up an ASL interpreter due to the fact that Im deaf. They were unsure on how to deal with my question so they asked who would have to pay for the interpreter - I said them aka the agency (it is a part of protocol under ADA law). I did my best explaining to them about the information on finding an ASL interpreter in Tampa from Google searches. They gave me attitude and would have to bring that information to the HR and their lawyer. I dont know where that attitude came from, but that was considerably rude compared to my experiences with countless appointments and agencies. Work on your attitude towards people that are different from you!

LifeChoices is an amazing place, filled with amazing people! They are always there to help in anyway they can, with no judgement and always willing to share love! The ladies here helped me through pregnancies, illnesses, and even working through marital problems. The difference between LifeChoices and everywhere else is, they truly care about PEOPLE here!!

I was very concerned about abnormal bleeding and was referred here for a full gynecological exam. I received compassionate care from the nurse practitioner and the sonographer who were very sensitive to my fears.

**looks like they delete the post that are bad** Just sharing a update of a previous review. Doctor didn’t know how to do a pap and it was so painful I thought I was gonna cry. Paps have never been that painful and when I went to the hospital for an exam it didn’t hurt how it did with the doctor at guiding star when they did practically the same procedure.Doctor also labeled me high risk due to mental issues and refused to see me leaving me stranded and with even less options for an OBGYN. Due to COVID and having Medicaid my options were very limited, I was also so far along that places rejected me. I was only given one option which was to go to Genesis and have waited almost a month to receive an appointment and I am still waiting. Sad part is when I went to the hospital they said I was not high risk and mental issues doesn’t make me high-risk. So all of this unnecessary struggle for because one doctor didn’t do her job right 😂I can’t express how angry I am at Guiding Star aka LifeChoices. P.s. most of these reviews are fake please read the good and the bad!

However, I am concerned by the amount of inaccurate information available on your website especially on the issue of medication abortion reversal. The Guttmacher Institute reports that Some states have begun to require that abortion counseling include the unverified claim that medication abortion can be “reversed” if a woman is given a high dose of progesterone after she takes mifepristone. There is no medical evidence to support this assertion and no data on the safety of this unproven treatment.

My experience here has been nothing but good the staff is friendly and welcoming and Marisa is always there to help. Glad I chose guiding star Tampa for my first pregnancy experience.

This place was amazing!! I was so happy to find somewhere that helps uninsured women get their annual exams plus blood work. The staff was soo friendly, it was a really nice office and very clean in there and I thought it was nice that you can get free coffe/tea plus little cookies.I highly recommend this office!

Very kind and personable staff. Great programs in place to help you get diapers and/or clothes for your new baby and they have a play room just in case you have to bring your littles with you to your appointment. Great place!!

The staff here genuinely care about Womens healthcare, in general, and each woman who walks through the door, in particular. They provide FREE womens healthcare for the uninsured over age 18 and they are always warm, respectful to their patients and passionate about their calling.

This is an outstanding facility that I give yearly to. They have kind compassionate employees working for them to help women make an informative choice. We need more like them!

My wife was getting her blood work done there it was a 35 dollar charge no problem I saw the doctor Angela asked her a quick question in the HALLWAY when I went to pay at the front desk she said I have to pay 150 since I spoke to the doctor. Horrible front desk lady , very rude and unprofessional.

Guiding Star Tampa had ObGyn well women, prenatal and post partum services; Earn while you learn program; Lunch and learn workshops; Parenting support; Breastfeeding support; Family life support; Pregnancy loss support for abortion, miscarriage or infant death; Sexual abuse support, and an on-site chapel for prayer, reflection and spiritual support.They also offer a Child Watch program for 8 week to 8 year old children while the mom attends an appointment or a class at the facility.

This practice is outstanding! From the receptionist, to the assistants to the actual doctor, I felt so welcomed. If I could give 10 stars I would! Clean, friendly, and efficient; I will recommend this office to everyone!

LifeChoices Womens Care offers free pregnancy testing, counseling and educational services to women of all ages. We offer support to all the pregnant women who come in; from those who already have children and are struggling financially, to those who are single and unsure of what to do if they are pregnant, to married women who thought their baby days were over!We also offer post-abortive counseling.
