I had such an amazing experience with the staff during my labor and delivery for my first baby this year. Everyone (except one nurse that had had a bad day) was so understanding, kind and upbeat the whole experience. I felt very well taken care while being induced and eventually having a c-section. The staff was reassuring and calm keeping me calm during a stressful situation. If you get the following people to help you, youre in such good hands: Shauna (L&D nurse), Dr. Nelson (anesthesiologist), and Mack (nurse during my recovery). They were rock stars!!

If I could give -5 or more stars I would. I had a c section 2 weeks ago and had a baby that had to go to the NICU due to complications. I was abused, neglected and harassed by 50% of the nurses that I was placed under for care on the mom/baby floor. I was forced to miss meals while being confined to a hospital bed, forced to miss bathroom breaks, and had my pain management get completely out of control because it would take 2+ hours for any nurse to even answer or come in when I used the call button. On top of that, I overheard nurses talking trash about me in the halls because apparently I’m that squeaky wheel nasty patient that started calling the NICU floor to even get the mom/baby floor nurses attention since I was being neglected that bad. Absolutely unprofessional and majorly alarming to someone like me whose privacy wasn’t respected. Their oath of do no harm was broken at an alarming level. This happened for 4 days straight after the surgery. This was not my first rodeo with a c section so I definitely know how care is supposed to go. Majorly disappointed and considering further recourse since I’m still dealing with some effects from this experience 2 weeks later. If it’s because of a staffing shortage, that is 100% on the hospital’s fault. I only hope that other mothers weren’t getting the same treatment.
