When I was little and people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always say, “I want to be a mommy.” I never imagined that I would suffer from infertility. This news was devastating to us, and we felt lost, alone, confused, and hopeless. Dr. von Goeben not only gave us medical guidance which ultimately led to our two IVF miracle babies, but she also held my hand when we were hitting roadblocks along the way. Her bedside manner is unlike any other doctor I have come in contact with, and the way that she cares for her patients is unmatched. I never felt like I was just a number. We truly owe it all to her!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Dr Von Goeben. She is very compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough in answering any questions and truly showed genuine care throughout our IVF journey. We now have two precious miracle baby girls. To say we are forever grateful for Dr Von G, is an understatement. She is an angel!

I couldn’t say more incredible things about Dr. VonGoeben! She has given us 3 beautiful babies after trying on our own unsuccessfully for almost 10 years and has been so wonderful along the way! She is so amazing that we even committed to making the trip to south Florida before she came back to Jacksonville, while we were trying to conceive our most recent daughter, it was so worth the extra hours travel time. She has gone above and beyond for our family and I feel so blessed to have found her at the beginning of our fertility journey over 5 years ago.

Dr. Von Goeben changed our lives! Not only is she one of the kindest and most compassionate souls on earth, but she is absolutely brilliant at what she does. Dr. Henne took so much time to explain every step of the process. She was kind, caring and was invested in my care plan! I really felt that she listened to my desires for growing a family and helped me navigate the process. I trusted her advice and medical care more than anything. She is the reason I am a mama. You will be in amazing hands choosing her to lead your team!

Well, this is a review that is overdue and one that I am super happy to write.. What can I say... Let me start with I’m not really sure how to say thank you enough... There really is no way to explain it... Dr. Von Goeben is simply INCREDIBLE..!! I honestly do not know any better word to really describe her.. She changed our lives with her knowledge, her caring, her attention to detail, her meticulous approach etc.. I could go on and on.. Without Dr. Von Goeben, I 100% do not think my wife and I would have the most amazing son on the planet.. She changed our lives and we are eternally grateful..!!

Dr. Von Goeben was wonderful when we went through the IVF process with our now 5 year old. She listened to me when I felt no one else would. She took into consideration the things I had noticed that seemed off with my body. She truly is amazing with how she cares for her patients.

My husband and I are forever grateful for Dr. Von Goeben. She helped us get our rainbow baby after great loss, scares and no answers. She took the time to listen, showed compassion and understanding. She not only helped us get our rainbow baby but helped make sure our third surprise baby was able to make it through the crucial first 12 weeks when the world shut down she showed up and gave us a peace of mind. She is truly a gem and will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

I cannot recommend Dr. Henne enough. From our very first meeting, she listened to my every word and never looked over or brushed off anything that I brought to her. She was so knowledgeable and professional and just made me feel like I was in the best hands. She was there for me and committed to my family planning goals just as much (if not more!) than I was. It was a relief to know that I always had someone in my corner, putting together a plan that we both felt comfortable with. At the beginning of my journey, I was not ready to immediately jump into IUI or IVF, and she completely understood, but rather than say okay come back when you are, she put together a plan that fit exactly what I needed at the time to give me the needed medical assistance to try to conceive naturally and never made me feel like my dreams were hopeless. I feel truly blessed to have found Dr. Henne at the beginning of my journey and wish I could give her 500 stars. Make an appt with her - you will not be disappointed!

Dr. von Goeben is by far the best doctor I have ever worked with! She is so knowledgeable, compassionate, and willing to listen. My husband and I started our fertility journey with her in FL, but unfortunately had to go to a new clinic because we moved out of state. We still kept in touch and even had several phone apts with her to get her opinion on my treatment plans at the new clinic. Ultimately I was not able to get pregnant and had to use a gestational carrier to bring our son earth side. We knew this was not going to be an easy process so my husband and I decided that we wanted to go back and work with Dr. von Goeben. We knew she would make it as easy as possible and she did! She listened to our GC and us throughout the process and made us feel at ease and comfortable throughout the way. 9 months after our first transfer we welcomed our baby boy into this world! Our journey was not easy, but it was so worth it and we were so lucky we had Dr. von Goeben by our side through it all

Dr. Henne was God sent. My husband and I were very discouraged and heartbroken as the fertility road is not for the faint of hearts. Dr. Henne sat with us and listened to all of our concerns and questions. She was very tender and caring. She was just what we needed in such a delicate time in our journey. Thanks to her we have a beautiful and very strong willed little boy who keeps us on our toes everyday. We love you Dr. Henne.

Dr. Von Goeben and Dr. Henne are absolute gifts to the Jacksonville medical community. The IVF clinics here were missing that compassionate care and personalized touch that these two provide to their patients. I am so incredibly thankful for them and their amazing team! I transferred care from another area clinic and the moment I stepped through their front door, I knew I was where I needed to be.With the amount of time Dr. Von Goeben took to explain the process and answer questions, how willing Amy, Sarah, and Mariah were to answer my questions and after hours calls, and Terrell, Meli, and the rest of the crew being just so incredibly warm and friendly - I really felt like it was a team effort and the entire clinic was cheering me on! During such a lonely and alienating process, you need a cheering squad behind you and you absolutely have it here. They have built such an incredible resource for their patients and I am so very thankful that we found them.

Dr. Henne is the reason I have our miracle baby. Longing for a child is one of the hardest things a person can go through. From my very first visit with Dr. Henne, I knew I was with the right doctor. She took the time to not only listen to my fears and concerns but also explain the mechanics of the IVF process in a way that was both reassuring and informative. Her compassion, expertise, and dedication were evident in every interaction we had.Throughout the entire journey, Dr. Henne was a constant source of support and guidance. She tailored the treatment to fit our unique needs and was always available to answer any questions we had, no matter how small. I cannot say enough great things about Dr.Henne and her staff! I have never felt more loved and welcomed by a doctors office. Dr.Henne made this the most special experience for my husband and I and now we welcoming our first baby into this world.

While I dont have any experience with Florida Reproductive Specialists directly, I had the honor and privilege of working side by side with Dr. Melinda Henne at a start-up IVF practice in Minneapolis, MN. While I didnt feel as if I knew all there was to know about the world of fertility, I came to that organization with 40 years of nursing experience and had managed two different practices in the twin cities so I had some knowledge under my belt. Little did I know that this spirited physician with the sperm pattern on her skirt - would teach me - not only about fertility, but about people - our patients of course, but also, about myself. She supported me, encouraged me, laughed with me and cried with me. She held our entire team to high standards and because of that, was instrumental in the success of that practice. Dr. Henne always puts her patients and their loved ones well being and safety first and she works tirelessly to create families for those who need the help of science to do so. She is a talented and skilled reproductive endocrinologist and a beautiful and kind human being. If I was in the Jacksonville area (or anywhere for that matter) and needed an RE -- I would be heading to Florida Reproductive Specialists. To Dr. Henne I would like to say thank you -- for your service to your country, your patients and all the healthcare professionals who have learned from your expertise and example.

Dr. vG, is a an amazing physician and an expert in IVF. With her help we were able to conceive a beautiful baby boy in 2022 using a donor egg. Dr. vG, has amazing bedside manner and was a strong supporter during a very scary and uncertain time!

I’m very thankful for all the support and guidance during my recent IVF experience. Dr. Hoffman, Dr. Henne, Dr. Christie, as well as nurses Brittany, Justine, Mackenzie and ultrasound technician Colleen all provided excellent patient care. It truly does take an entire team to make this journey successful!

Dr. von Goeben is gifted at what she does. She is incredibly knowledgeable and takes the time to look at and explain everything with your fertility. She does it with professionalism and compassion, which is so important in medical care. I also love the office and medical staff here. They always seem genuinely happy to see you and create an environment for patients to feel comfortable in. Mariah and Melissa have been joys to work with. First time visiting and the experience was great. The staff are very friendly and caring and the two doctors Ive met have been great so far, with a very caring bedside manner that helped put me at ease. They explain everything and explain what they are doing before they do it, which i really apprecoate. Ive been to other fertility clinics in Jacksonville and I would recommend FRS over the others Ive been to by far. I plan to continue my fertility journey with FRS.

Anyone who is struggling with conceiving: I highly recommend Dr. Von Goeben… enough to follow her to Chicago for my last round of IVF. Though our journey did not end the way we wanted it to, I could not accept my fate from anyone but her. She helped bring me my daughter through our first round of IVF and I’m forever grateful for this blessing. She is kind, empathetic, thorough, and everything the other reproductive endocrinologists were lacking (and I saw many!). She has the best bedside manner of any RE and I’m so happy she has her own office! I’m sending everyone there!
