For over 10 years I have been living with an ovarian cyst that has continued to grow each year. Initially I had rare episodes of slight pain which gradually turned into long episodes of excruciating pain. After a trip to the ER in March 2023, it was recommended that I have both ovaries removed. This recommendation was supported with 2nd & 3rd opinions from gynecologists. I began treatment with Dr. Lisa in March 2023. As of mid July, 2023 the cyst is now half the size. Dr Lisa saved me from having my ovaries removed. Incredible!!I am also being successfully treated for my long term digestive problems with herbs and acupuncture.Dr. Lisas warm, friendly manner and holistic approach is like no other.

Dr Lisa is phenomenal! I went to this practice for almost a year during my IVF process. The sessions were always helpful, relaxing, and I was always able to speak freely about my current process. Dr. Lisa changed my mindset and helped me soo much. For years she has been telling me to eat red meat because I was always getting hurt as a fitness professional. 6 years later today my hemoglobin levels were so low I felt as if I was having a heart attack.Most recently I called her because I saw I had cankles (my ankles and feet were so swollen they looked like one body part) she asked me a few questions. She diagnosed me and told me what to do. 2 days later cankles gone.Another issue. My doctor has been pressuring me to get my uterus taken out. Lisa Mascall treated me for chronic shoulder pain. I was skeptical at first because I had little luck with traditional medicine. However, after only a few sessions, I was converted. Wonderful experience. I never thought that taking the holistic approach to ease my long time menstrual troubles would work simply because western medicine did not help. After meeting Dr. Lisa for the first time, I decided to invest in my reproductive health with her and while she took care of me, she also managed and help relieve my high stress levels. I suffered from severe anxiety related to the outcome of my treatments and going 2 times a week helped me navigate the stress and approach my 3rd transfer with confidence that I was calmer. After a few months, I am happy to say that my 3rd transfer was successful. I can confidently say that acupuncture had a significant positive impact on my body and mind that I will always be grateful for. Honestly, if I could give this more than 5 stars I would! I suffer from a condition called PMDD (Pre-Menstrual Disorder) and there isnt very much known on the subject though research is ongoing. I had tried everythingto try and get control of my symptoms. Nothing worked, and I felt like I was at a dead end. Then, I came across the website for Hackensack Family Acupuncture and Wellness. I saw PMDD listed under Womens Health and called immediately. Dr. Lisa called me back a few hours later that same day with my free consultation! From there I made an appointment and attended weekly sessions for about 3 months or so and I have improved drastically. Dr. Lisa takes the time out during each session to talk with you and figure out exactly what it is you need! Such a supportive, and understanding environment. I highly recommend!

I have seen tangible fast results with Dr. Lisa Mascall! I came in for circulation issues that had been affecting the healing of a finger with a nerve injury, for which I had gotten surgery. I sensed soon after beginning treatment that my finger had fewer pins and needles, sign of a healing nerve! Dr. Mascall also addressed a persistent issue with menorrhagia and back pain - both improved greatly following acupuncture and cupping sessions. Highly recommend!

I have great acupuncture treatment from Lisa. I feel more energy, pain free and positive mind after the treatment. In addition the clinic is clean. Unique and cozy. Love it ! I indenfinally recommend it.

I wanted to love this place so much. I was told by the Dr. that my insurance does not cover acupuncture. Nothing about whether they accepted it or not. But i knew i needed treatment as even my neurologist recommended acupuncture as treatment for me. So i went ahead and paid the $150 out of pocket. They dont give the option to bill because they keep your card on file. When i went home i checked my insurance coverage and sure enough acupuncture is completely covered. When i went back and explained they are supposed to call and authorize treatment if they are not in network, they did just that and was authorized within 24 hours. But then they called me a few days later saying they dont accept my insurance and i went through the process for nothing. No recourse for reimbursement, even though it says on the paper work they make you sign that they will provide what you need for reimbursement. Lol.

Omg! I had been suffering from chronic knee pains. After seeing 3 different doctors no one was able to help me until I came to see Dr Lisa. She has also helped my neck pain instantly with cupping.

Never been here and they charged me $160 for an initial consult regardless. Tried calling them to let them know I had a family emergency but they never answered. Disgusting. They never even called to see if I was okay. So disappointed as I really wanted to try them. UPDATE. The ownder just called me and was really nice about what happened and refunded me the money and I am excited to check them out next week.
