NextCare Urgent Care Desoto

I scheduled an appointment for 10:30 a.m. via the online portal. The receptionist was courteous and welcoming. The nurse demonstrated efficiency and helpfulness. The physician exhibited extensive knowledge and expertise. Although the service was not expeditious, with a 30-minute wait before being seen and a total duration of one hour, I highly recommend this facility. The premises were exceptionally clean, the staff was amicable and professional, and the medical team provided exceptional care.

I have always had a pleasant experience at this medical facility each time I have visited. The staff is always very helpful and cordial. I normally dont have a long wait time to be seen either, with a scheduled appointment. But this particular visit, I did have to wait a little longer to be seen than normal, but it wasnt anything unreasonable. I love this clinic and have referred several family and friends to it for their urgent care needs.

My first visit was totally awesome here! I give the entire team a 5 stars thumbs up. The front desk specialist and nurse was so nice and friendly with beautiful smiles. The doctor was totally awesome, I applaud her for the great she does, I felt healed with just her warm introduction when she stepped into the room. Get job guys, I will definitely put NextCare as first choice on my list!

Lady at the front was amazing and made me feel right at home. The wait was long, but they had several walk-ins, and some scheduled online. Overall, the wait was not that bad, on a Saturday afternoon. The nurse and doctor continued with the same amazing care that the front desk had originated. I am so thankful that this urgent care office is near my home. I will be using them again, as needed, with confidence.Thank you Next Care DeSoto!!

Personnel were cordial and professional. Facility was clean and attractive. The wait time seemed excessive, more than 30 minutes, since there was only 1 person ahead of me. It is a good option for immediate medical needs, and is associated with Baylor, a top hospital, so I had confidence in the treatment I received.

I wasnt feeling good and went straight to Urgent care around 5pm. 2 people were ahead of me. I was a walking and only waited 15 minutes to be seen. The staff were all helpful and so friendly. It went all went so quick and I had my prescription 20 minutes after leaving the Urgent Care. The staff were very caring and so helpful with my kids as well to keep them calm while I was taken cares of. I definitely will recommend anyone to this location.

My provider, Anolynn, was immensely helpful and informative. Great bedside manner, very thorough. This is my second time coming to this Urgent Care and both times were wonderful. If you don’t have insurance I highly recommend getting their membership program which offers care at a better price.

The young lady at the front desk was thorough but dry. I had a 440 appointment and I arrived at 430 wasnt seen till 630. There also was a woman in lobby that required assistance and I had to assist the nurse no one else who worked there helped. Crazy visit I wont be back.

The front desk staff is always welcoming and very pleasant.And the doc is absolutely the most attentive person ever. She listens and makes you feel comfortable and her diagnosis are always so accurate.

I absolutely love the care I received.  I had a really bad sinus infection and couldn’t get in to see my regular PCP for weeks. I found this clinic on Google and scheduled an appointment same day.  The staff was phenomenal. The physician was the absolute best. I even begged her to become my own PCP. lolBest decision I ever made was to find them on Google. From now on I’m strictly coming to this location for all my minor emergency health care needs.

Made an appointment online for school physical. Was seen promptly. Front desk staff , medical assistant,and FNP were allcourteous.and professional. In and out within 1 hour. I would use their services again.

I definitely recommend this place. The people (Front desk, nurse, medical provider) are great. The only thing that someone might not like is the wait time. Mine was an hour and change to be called to be seen. I don’t know if that’s normal but yeah. Other than that if you need an urgent care in Desoto, go here!!

I walked in, they had me register while I waited in the office. They got me in and out. I must say I would encourage anyone who can’t get in to their on doctors office, this is the place. I’m feeling better already!! I wish I would have walked in sooner!

This is a great service generally. Sadly, I went to Cedar Hill at 8:00 am and was told they had no Covid tests there. So, I drove to DeSoto and had to wait until 11 am to be seen. I do have Covid so I’m glad I waited. I just returned home at noon- 4 hours later!

I’ve been dealing with clogged ears for months now and finally decided to stop lolligagging and get into someone’s clinic. I’m so glad I chose to come here because the staff were super friendly and helpful. NOW I CAN HEAR COLORS lolz. I did a walk-in and the wait was way shorter than the time the front desk assistant told me. And I was in and out in less than 2hrs. Thank you so so much!!! Recommend 10/10.

The office was not crowded however it took a hour before we were triaged. With a scheduled appointment. The waiting area was empty with one patient in the back. The NP was friendly. However, is office is very slow

I did the schedule the day before and the appointment was at 8 in to see the nurse at 830. After that smooth sailing. I recommend this place to my mom.

I had a great experience at this location. The wait time was longer at this location than another I’ve been to. But the care received was top notch. Bedside manner superb. I felt seen and well cared for.

Been here twice this week with 2 of my children. Both times, experience was smooth, office is clean, receptionist was nice, doctors are thorough. Im grateful for my son I was able to make that same day appt, and for my daughter I was able to book online the night before

1st visit, front desk lady was informative and friendly. Appointment was at 7:30 but staff stayed until 9 to complete everything Thankyou

The staff were all very nice and professional. However, the wait was 2.5 hours. They appear to be understaffed. I would highly suggest making an appointment and waiting at home.

My son was seen by Dr. Koffi for fever and chest discomfort. She provided excellent service and gave him a comprehensive review.

Patient care was amazing. Id called to make an appointment but the slots were booked along with walk in. I received a call back 10 minutes later to see if I still required service due to a cancelation, it worked out great. So pleased with all levels of service.

The receptionist, the nurse and the doc was exceptional. Ear infection on vacation sucks, but not for long with this staff. Thank u all!!

Waits are sometimes long but thats to be expected at an urgent care. But they were all very nice, friendly, professional and helpful! I have been 3 times with a follow up case and everytime have experienced the same thing. Wonderful job! I would definitely recommend.

The doctor is absolutely the best listener and give suggestions that are helpful. She seems very concerned about my health and getting me back to work

OMG ok so yall know its hard to find individuals who truly care in the health care field nextCare is by for one of the best service and experience I have received if you ever have to visit make Amber is working we laughed our way through an amazing visit Im a big kid but shots make me yell for mama let me tell you Amber gave me that shot so smooth yall I was to busy trying to control my breathing but before I could take a second breath it was over *OKAY LIKE WOW JUST WOW* OVERALL MY VISIT WAS FAST AND STRAIGHT TO THE POINT THANKS NextCare !!!

My Vist went smooth. The staff was very helpful. I do recommend registering online. Registering online line will save you some time.

Total time in clinic was 2 hours (with an appointment) for flu and Covid tests. Sat in the lobby for 1 hour before going to exam room—only one other person was ahead of me. That is absolutely unacceptable. Staff seemed to display no sense of urgency.

Amber was very detailed and helpful. Loved the Family NP or doctor, Norma(sp). Receptionist was nice.

Visit took over 2 1/2 hours with an empty lobby. The receptionist was nice and cordial but the wait time was completely ridiculous.

I was feeling bad for almost a week. I had no problems making an appointment within an hour of deciding to go get some medical assistance. Check in was pretty quick since I did it online prior to come to the office. The staff was amazing and very helpful and friendly. Im giving a 1 star due to fact I needed to have a scheduled appointment so the wait time wouldnt be as though Im waiting in a emergency room. But no I waited over a hour from my appointment time mind you come like fifteen mins before your appointment time so I did just that. And still waiting for my son to be seen. A courtesy from the front desk wouldve been appreciative to inform and apologize for the delay. So yes we did get up and leave and the fact I filled out the patients info online that you guys now have I dont like that because Ill never come here again.

I was in and out quickly and everyone acted so professional plus picked up my prescription on the way home.

The practitioner was very knowledgeable and friendly. I wouldve gave it a higher number (4) but the wait was excessive. I made an appointment and still waited an hour and a half.

This is my 3rd visit to NextCare Urgent Care. Each time the check-in process was seamless, the staff were warm & endearing and the office is spotless! The physicians were detailed & informative in explaining my diagnosis & treatment. They were also available when I called back w/concerns. I would definitely recommend this clinic for minor emergencies & sick visits. Kudos to them!

The check-in process was quick and efficient. The front desk staff was helpful and had great customer service. Miranda took my vitals and was warm, professional, and friendly. Shallabi Koffi is a knowledgeable NP who listened and answered all of my questions. Ive been to this location 3 times and they consistently meet my needs and expectations. Great service all around.

I appreciate the courteous demeanor of everyone in the office, including the provider. Super nice staff. However, I have some concerns regarding my recent visit (if I could give 5 stars for friendly staff I would but this is concerning my health):1. Despite arriving early as instructed, I waited for almost an hour before being seen.2. The NP provided me with an incorrect diagnosis for my eyes. Fortunately, I sought a second opinion at a different urgent care up north and was diagnosed with the exact thing I thought it was.I also refrained from filling the prescription after it wasn’t ready, saving me additional unnecessary expenses. Unfortunately wasted 50 dollars 😬.I typically refrain from writing reviews or making comparisons, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience. The healthcare provider up north conducted a VERY thorough examination of my eye. It reinforced my belief that patients often have valuable insights about their own bodies. I hope more providers will prioritize listening to their patients concerns.

Got in quickly after I did online check in. Saw doctor in a timely manner. Doctor prescribed some good meds to help my cause. And she had a bedside manner was good felt at ease talking to her. And she listened and I was able to understand her diagnosis.

This was my 1st visit to this facility and all I can say is if a need urgent care again I will go to this location in Desoto. I made my appointment online which was a fairly easy process. When I arrived I was promptly greeted by the front desk young lady who was polite and friendly. The intake nurse who got all of my vitals was nice as well. My wait to see the doctor wasnt long and she is the other reason why I would go back. She came in introduced herself(FPN Anolynn Loudermilk) and proceeded to find out what was going on with me. She examined me very well and didnt make me feel rushed. She came back to tell me whats was going on and that she had sent my medicine to the pharmacy of my choice. The experience at this location was outstanding and the staff was phenomenal. Thank you all for your professionalism and kindness.

I made an appointment on a Sunday because I couldnt see my own doctor. I was seen in a timely manner. I had a terrible cough and was in very bad pain. The doctor was very empathetic and caring. She took time to see to all of my needs. She looked me in the eye and treated me with dignity and respect. I wish she could be my regular doctor. The front desk person was also very kind. I am so glad I went there.

My experience was great. The PA or nurse practitioner was friendly as well as nice. The nurse that my vitals was extremely helpful in that I was in so much pain. She was comforting. The x ray tech was a sweet soul. Everyone there was so nice and friendly, I would recommend them to others. I was informed that the staff was rude and unfriendly that I should go to Cedar Hill, well I didn’t I was in to much pain. I was surprisingly surprise. The staff was great.

A hidden gem is what this turned out to be for me today. The appointment process easy, there was no wait, and the staff was amazingly nice and empathetic. I highly recommend!I recently had to go back (11/24/22)…. I went as a walk in… although there was a wait w/several others ahead of me; I was able to keep up with when I was up next. The front desk lady was is consistent and I must say it was good to see some consistency w/staffing these days. April was very thorough and listened to what I had going on-I got my Rx same night. I definitely recommend this gem if you or someone you know is feeling I’ll.

I took my daughter for an appointment here. We were quoted one price before the appointment and then charged more than double then what we were told. I was given a receipt which does not include the breakdown of cost anywhere on the receipt. They do their best to sale the “low cost payment plan”. On top of all that my daughter was told all of her test came back negative and if she had something it was probably passing and she would be fine in 3-7 days. I would NOT recommend this place at all. The only positive from the visit was that the lady at the front desk was very polite. Save your time and money and visit a Minute Clinic.

Staff and medical staff was courteous and professional. I was a walk in and my time there was quicker than an emergency room. The treatment of meds has started to kick in.

While I did have an appointment, there was a wait even though there was only 1 other person in the lobby. I greeted the nurse and she did not respond. I wouldn’t say that she was flat out rude but she does need to brush up on her customer service skills. The doctor was pleasant and got us out pretty quick once she came in. Over all it was better than waiting at the ER.

Booking an appointment means absolutely nothing. You still have to wait forever and patients are seen on a first come, first serve basis, not by appointment which is very frustrating. Only one doctor which makes no sense at all

The staff have always been pleasant and helpful and the nurses have always been upbeat and easy to laugh with even when I was in some pretty bad pain and very anxious. The woman who helped me with an impacted earwax problem late 2022 was informative and very kind and professional, I wish I remembered her name! Today I had Dr. Koffi and she was also very helpful, explaining things in both laymans terms and more medical terms so I felt I had a great all around understanding. There were lighthearted jokes and I was immediately put at ease. I was listened to and my questions were answered, I did not feel rushed at all. I wish I could remember the nurses name, she was also just as professional but also sweet and easy to relate to. Both were very casual (in a good way) about me being transgender, it was not made into a big deal, but I still felt confident that they cared and knew how to treat me. Brief, casual, not a big deal- the dream!! Definitely would love to see Dr. Koffi and co. again! Thank you to everyone who helped to treat me, from reception to walking out the door with a prescription. :)

What the hell is the point point of telling people that they are next in line on the app and still make them wait over an hour in the waiting room? Have them check in, and complete the forms online and notify them when its almost time to ACTUALLY be seen. Completely ridiculous!Staff are amazing however so that is a plus

Had a good experience with the staff but need a to clean the seats in the Lobby.

My husband and I took our son there and they were so sweet with him, and took good care of him. Definitely recommend if you have a sick one at home.

I was able to make an appointment for the same day …which was helpful because I thought I had COVID! The only part of the experience that wasn’t 5 star was the wait time. I was seen an hour past my scheduled time. The PA did explain the reason for the delay (which she thought the receptionist had relayed to me). The treatment was professional and quick. I hope I never have to use them again, but faced with a medical situation I will visit this office again.

Everything was great outside of one employee. cat wasn’t very personable. asked me about a previous weight instead of placing me on the scale. was leaning against a machine talking when my appointment was 10 mins ago, i’m coughing and wheezing. she never told me good morning, just stared at me while i was in the waiting room.the young lady at the front desks was so kind and patient, and the PA/dr who officially prescribed my medication was very kind. the intake nurse rly shifted the experince.i’d absolutely recommend this center nonetheless.

I highly recommend NextCare…everyone is so nice and caring. I have been here 3 times and each visit has been better than the last visit. If you’re looking for an urgent care center NextCare is the one to visit.

We aren’t from the area. Actually was only here for a cheer showcase and my daughter came down with the flu. We were in and out and they had more patience than I did with my sick kid. The nurses were great.

I went to the urgent care in Desoto today, booked an appointment for the same day. There was a little bit of a wait but the service was very good. The lady at the front was friendly and very nice. I really like the fact that the doctor took the time to explain everything to me without rushing and even make some great recommendations to me. They took good care of me today. Thank you

For this to be “urgent care” it was far from urgent. I made an appointment online for 2:30. I wasn’t seen until about 4:30. The staff was very pleasant and friendly especially the lady at the front desk. I didn’t get her name. However I could’ve went to the ER if I wanted to wait so long to be seen even after making an appointment. People are coming in sick and feeling horrible. Seems like there would be more urgency in getting patients in and out! I would have loved the option to check in online and wait at home until they were ready to be see me instead of sitting in a crowded waiting room in pain. I’ve never had these issues at the cedar hill location. I’ve always been seen less than 20 mins after checking in.

It was a little wait but once I got to see someone it went fast.

My 6 yr old daughter get strep throat a lot and has been traumatized by the hospitals that jam the testing sticks in her throat, we are getting a referral from her dr for a ENT specialist but the lady’s at Nextcare were super sweet and took there time with her ❤️ we will be back when needed again

Nextcare app made it easy to schedule my appointment. When I arrived I was greeted and checked in promptly. Although I had to wait about half hour past my appointment time with only oneperson ahead of me and no one in the lobby, the nurse and doctor were cordial, informative and thorough. Thanks for the care!

The doctor knew what she was doing one to two minutes. Found the problem sent medication to pharmacy and we’re back home in our bed relaxing

Fast and staff was very friendly. They all showed compassion and the physician not only attended to me but listened to all my questions and concerns.

I love that you can make an appointment online, sometimes that same day. I have visited multiple times virtually and in office. Every time I have had an appointment I’ve only waited an hour to be seen at most. Which is great compared to other offices where I have waited all day. Desoto location Providers are so nice and knowledgeable. Staff is also great. I definitely recommend

Very smooth and easy office visit. Staff was very polite. The doctors there are very pleasant and give understandable and thorough explanations. My son was quickly seen diagnosed, and given a prescription. He doesnt usually like going to anyone but his own pediatrician, but he says he was comfortable here and would go back.

I had guardian Angels working over me. The care and concern from the nurse practitioner her assistant and the front office receptionist was outstanding. I do know that any and everyone served by that team was blessed. What a dedicated crew thank you for the opportunity to share my story

The nurses and doctor in charge were friendly & polite. The doctor actually listened to my concerns, patiently asking questions as needed to determine a course of action. When the results came back, she explained them and allowed me to ask questions. Also, the facility is very clean!My only issue was the person at the front desk; who, after I said Im here for an appointment at such and such time, immediately asked is this an on the job injury or an illness?Background: Im in pain, Im thinking Are those the only two options? because I didnt know what was causing my pain which is why I was there--to find out, and the tone in which the question was asked was (to me) a tired and frustrated tone. Anyway, it couldve been the way I took it (and I nearly changed my mind) but I decided that since I was already there I might as well stay and get some answers. Later, the person at the desk was much nicer... perhaps they saw the tears forming in my eyes, idk. But, as previously stated, very nice, clean and quality place to get care, especially if you cant get to your regular doctor and need to be seen outside of normal doctors office hours. I paid a little more than I wouldve paid if I went to my PCP but all in all, Im satisfied.

I had no idea this clinic existed until my Mother in Law mentioned it. We came early on a Saturday morning for an issue my toddler son was having. We came in as a walk-in and we were seen within 15 minutes. The staff was professional and polite. The facility was clean and organized. I will definitely use them again if need be.

I was treated well here, will come again if I need to. Same day appointments and no judgement. I usually always have bad experiences but thank you guys for making it so much better than the others.

The receptionist was friendly. The establishment was very clean. The medical assistant who took my stats made me laugh and feel comfortable. The Doctor was very nice and thorough. The facility was very clean and sanitized. The faculty and medical professionals were patient and kind. The PA I visited with took time to explain my diagnosis in detail and explained to me why the medication she suggested will work and how it works. I made an appointment online but I was there longer than expected. They had some system issues so I think that was why. I will go back again when needed.

I love it, I made my appointment online and did my paperwork and when I got to the facility I was seen 10 min later. They was very professional and fast. I was only their for 45 mins and was completely done

The receptionist was so friendly, very kind when I made my appointment last night over the phone and when I arrived for my appointment. She greeted us with a smile behind the mask. Horrible my daughter got a x ray yesterday still don’t have the results 12:00 pm next day had to take her to the hospital and it’s broken poor service don’t go her especially don’t take your kids her

I took my daughter here today for her sports physical exam and I really like this place I would definitely recommend.

When we checked in winds of waiting, about an hour to get to see a nurse. And when I told him I had stomach pains, they immediately assumed appendicitis. They didn’t think about any other thing.

I wish I remembered the doctor’s name, she was so genuine and real. She didn’t say medical terms that I wouldn’t understand she just broke everything down and I know she was busy so she did it really fast but she was so efficient lol. I apparently had an abscess on my tonsil which explained why I was in so much pain and she got me scheduled with an ENT to see the same day. Same day. Honestly super thankful and all the good reviews for this place are here for a reason. Thanks

I would NEVER go back to this location. I went early on a Sunday to get a COVID test and had an appointment. I stood outside the door for at least 15 minutes past their opening time with their door locked. I knocked and knocked no one came. Near the opening time, I saw a nurse in the back but when I knocked and she saw me, she went behind a partition towards the private rooms and never came back out. It was outrageous. When I finally got inside, (well after my appointment time) the nurses were so rude. They didn’t apologize for having someone wait that long, for ignoring my knocks, for disregarding my appointment time. When I called to complain, I never received an answer or follow up. This location is hit or miss. Their weekday staff is usually GREAT but to be forced to stand outside a medical facility when you’re not feeling well for 20+ minutes is ridiculous. I ultimately left because I felt so uncomfortable and disrespected. They acted as if I had interrupted something as a patient with an appointment.

The Staff was very hospitable. The facility was clean, sanitized and Very Well Decorated for a Care Edifice. I felt so welcomed and Comforted as I was well cared for. The Wait time was so fast, and the process was so quick. The Welcoming Receptionist was awesome, and set the tone for a very pleasant experience.

Booking the appt online & submitting info like paperwork, adding insurance card & drivers license photo was easy & made the process so much faster than filling out papers by hand. Staff was friendly & service was quick.

Im would have given 5 stars but the receptionist was really rude. I was debating leaving because she was giving me such a hard time due to my form of payment which shouldnt have even been that big of a deal since I was paying with a card. But as soon as I said I didnt have insurance, she started giving me the run-around. Ridiculous.However, the rest of the staff were great. I loved my nurse and doctor there.

Last minute appointment. Both nurse and doctor were very efficient and polite. Im impressed with the doctor, though it was just a sports physical... and, yes, were have a great PCP.

I normally have a good experience here at this office but tonight was not good. The lasthe lady that took their vitals and the nurse practitioner were wonderful I have no issue with she was there. However the lady at the front desk was rude and would not listen. Well I tried to explain to her about my babys medication she refused to listen. I had to call prime care who then had to contact the nurse practitioner who then promised me to give me my medication that had not received from my previous visit. My question is is it protocol for workers to have their boyfriends or husbands sitting behind the desk just because they brought them flowers are you supposed to leave the front desk to go out to your loved ones car and follow your boyfriend because this exactly what she did After she was rude to me she then apologized to the next person because I guess I took too much of her time to inquire about my childs medication.

My experience is the same EVERY TIMEi come here . The wait time is 2 hours plus with A CALL AHEAD appointment. The PA seems uninterested and like she’s rather be else where. Seems like all the patients are given the same text book diagnosis . The staff is not considerate of others time and overall just lackadaisical. After sitting for two hours with a visibly sick child they now want to take test which the results won’t be available for 20 minutes. My question is why wasn’t these test don’t at the beginning of our now 2 hour and 15 minute wait?When your child is sick the last thing you want to do is spend ur time waiting in a room, while the staff just sits at their desk.

The wait time when you have an appointment is long. Over 45min

The receptionist and nurse practioner were great. The wait was longer than I expected. There was an issue with my prescription that took over 3 hours to resolve and every phone call has to go through the customer service number which was also ridiculous. A patient should be able to directly contact the clinic if they visit the clinic. Jodi the manager was also non-chalant and had no interest in finding out what the problem was. She called just to say she called. She never apologized and actually implied that the issue was my fault. I would not recommend this location to anyone.

Wait times are too long especially when you have an appointment but the nurse practitioner I had today was excellent. She paid attention to the fact that I had a lot of allergies and instead of giving me a shot and rushing me out she made sure I stayed long enough that she was sure I wasn’t going to have a reaction. That’s only the 2nd time anyone has done that…excellent care!!!!

Checked in online. Only 10 min wait to get back into the back. I really liked everyone, front and back office. It was a pleasant experience. I was in lots of pain from my back. The consult, Bearden was kind, he had a really calm demeanor, and he took time to listen to me. The office was immaculate. Computer issues were a bit of a hassle, as I had to wait longer to get prescriptions, but they notified me and apologized, so I wasnt sitting there in pain with no ETA. Overall, it was pretty easy. I just wish they were closer to my home. I would recommend this clinic to anyone.

I made an appointment for my daughter who has sickle cell and is feeling ill. I was trying to keep from talking her to the ER where she would have to sit and wait amongst a bunch of sick people. We arrived and were told even with an appointment the wait would still be 3 hours because they are running behind. I waited with my daughter for 3.5 hours and asked the receptionist how much longer it would be only to be told they have 2 systems that they use and they couldnt see her in their system we are now approaching the 4 hour mark and are just being seen. I am livid and beyond disgusted with this visit today.

I took my son here for a sports physical (for the 2nd time) and it was quick and easy. We were in and out within a hour with 1 person ahead of us. Definitely 10 out of 10 would recommend!

The receptionist and doctor took great care of us today! They put on the kids movie of our choice for our children and they had excellent service that carried through the entire visit. Im so thankful we are walking distance from this great location!

I have been to the center twice now, and both times have been very satisfied with the service I received. The front attendant was friendly, I was checked in quickly, brought back into the room in a timely manner, and seen by the provider in a timely manner. Provider was friendly, thorough, listened to my questions and concerns, and provided excellent service. I would highly recommend this urgent care.

I had been turned away from several urgent cares yesterday at the mere mention of chest pain and sore throat. Initially the receptionist said the earliest appointment I could get would be next day (today) but they did not turn me away. Someone cancelled as I was speaking with the receptionist and she checked me in right then and there so I could be seen. I ended up having a bad sinus infection with bronchospasm and needed a steroid shot. Everyone was friendly and listened to carefully to me. I had an unrelated symptom that I shared with the doctor and she was able to provide me a solution for that as well. Id definitely return to this clinic and would most definitely recommend it.

The staff and doctors were very attentive and friendly. My daughter received the proper medications and even though we were walk ins, the wait was minimal.

I appreciate Dr. Shellani and staff at Urgent Care; Desoto, TX. They work hard to deliver efficient service, while maintaining patient health concerns as priority. Like any Health facility, it can get hectic at times, nevertheless, my experience has been positive!

My experience there was good, but i called the next day because the prescriptions that they prescribed me were to strong and made me super drowsy and since i have kids and need to drive i did not want to risk my safety or my kids. So i called to see if they could switch me prescriptions to something that would not make me drowsy and the receptionist told me she would give me a call back so i waited a couple of hrs and not one phone call back so i decided to call. When i called she began to say she wouldnt be able to send another prescriptions due to fact that the original doctor that saw me was not working today and the doctor that was there wouldnt be able to prescribe me anything because he doesnt know my information or chart. And that i would need to wait till Friday when the original doctor that saw me would be back in. I find this ridiculous not only because i know for a fact that they could have easily went into my file and read the notes from the previous doctor and could have done there job and help my situation but of course i got the run around! Not only did the receptionist not bother to call me back no one wanted to help! This situation could of been easily handled! There lack of customer service skills and helpfulness is definitely the reason why they need less then one star!

Please don’t go to this urgent care.. the physicians there don’t know what they’re doing .. I didn’t want to stay in er allday , so decided to go there. I felt really really bad . My symptoms was real bad chess pains, hurts when I breathe, sore throat , chills ,and headaches and dizziness. The physician (SHELLABI KOFFI ) that seen me , told me it was just “Allergies” .‼️‼️ Then she gave me a doctors note stating to go back to wrk the next day .. after I told her I felt really bad.. She did not care. Rushing to go to her next patient. AFTER I HAVE GAVE THEM FOLKS $60 I left to go to a REAL DOCTOR the same night. He told me I had the flu ‼️‼️.a Legal matter will be my first assignment to do once I get discharged from the hospital.

I was impressed with service even with the most opposition of a doctors office. The doctor/nurse practitioner did not show up causing the full day schedule to be offset. Well, the clinic nurse assistant kept us informed and was very transparent giving us confidence that the clinic cared for patients. I stayed until they staffed a different nurse practitioner and I must say the wait was well worth it!!! Jesilinah Mwanyalo FNP was very professional, knowledgeable, polite and thorough and had a great bed side manners. I will for sure revisit and use this medical center if ever needed.

I prefer 0 stars. Since I came in Nicole was rude and unprofessional, she wanted me to verbally provide our medical complaint in front of other patients, she had an attitude, I felt her attitude created a delay..we checked in at 4 and at 440 she was still holding my stuff, I asked for my ID and she said she hadnt entered the info. I advised that she can have my ID back once she started the inputting of the info for my security (especially since she was on a personal call) so she said that she wouldnt enter my daughters info in this case. She yelled another patients info across the floor and was on a personal call about 15 minutes of the time that my info wasnt entered. She stated her daughter has Covid, well if she does why are you here and why do you have your mask pulled down 😳🤢? I will NEVER return to this location. Follow up I called customer service who called the clinic and Nicole lied about me giving her the paperwork, saying that I didnt give it to her. I was there between 4 and 5 please check those cameras she left my paperwork ( 2 sheets, one was patient info and the second was basically confirming that your received several documents)on the counter without even putting anything in. Im so disgusted and I will not let this go.

I was able to have my sons sports physical done with ease! The customer service experience was great as well and the physician made my 12 year old son feel so comfortable during the exam. She even wished him Good Luck on his tryouts that evening!

I needed a urgent care place that would accept my insurance but also not charge a arm & leg for their service. The lady at the front counter was nice as well as the lady that performed my COVID testing including the nurse practitioner. CareNow can count their days. I’ve found a urgent care place with nice people & they accept my insurance!!! It was also a plus being open on. Sunday ! Thank you so much ladies!

Worse experience as I’m sitting here at 6:03pmMy appointment was at 5 and we arrived 10 mins before as instructed. Just to still be sitting here with no one in the waiting room but one other person. Just for the clerk to tell me they had to see walk ins before appointment. What was the point of setting an appointment. This is truly irritating. CareNow would never be like this, even on their busiest day.

Everyone was helpful and polite from the time I walked in until the time I left. The staff gave excellent service I would highly recommend.

The young lady in front was nice. She let me know about the wait and scheduled me to come back. When I returned the wait was not long. Everyone was so nice and they took care of my daughter.

Deborah Wayman is an absolutely amazing nurse, she listened and she’s really caring! 10/10 would recommend this place! Also the front desk assistant and the other nurse were very friendly and warm people!

I just went to urgent care today and from beginning to end it was so pleasant !! I made an apt online in the middle of the night bc I was so sick and hurt so bad. Everyone was kind and it was quick. I had to get meds and a shot of a steroid and I didn’t even feel a thing. I will definitely go back if there is an emergency for me or me kids !!

07/23/2023 - New Post.... Sad to say (SMILE) but I had to visit the Urgent Care twice in one week this past week. PA Koffi and the entire staff was GREAT in every way. Very detailed ensured that I understood my care plan and recommended a great specialist for my injury. Clinic, rooms and bathrooms were clean.(Below from 2yrs ago)First THANK you so much for bringing PrimaCare to DeSoto!!!! From start to finsh these group of women were simply awesome. Be it known you are told up front you will be seeing a Nurse Practitioner. Its up to you as an adult to ask prior who will be treating you. I have never had any issues thusfar in using PrimaCare other than having to drive to Cedar Hill. This location was very clean and the staff was friendly, they even allowed me to pull a chair outside as I had inforned them of me being a high risk for COVID-19 and after being stuck in the house for 4 and 1/2 months I good really use some fresh air, feel a little breeze and get some sun. My appointment was at 8:45 am and I was out the door around 9:30 am. Nurse Practitioner Ms Traylor has a GREAT bedside manner. With all that is going on lets give this location the chance and opportunity to treat our community. I will be back for any future urgent care services needed...The reason for my post being later in the day...after being in pain for almost 24hrs I was final able to get some sleep....DO NOT go to this clinic if you are looking for NARCOTICS. You will be treated accordingly and with other alternatives. Do your research on who can and cannot issue certain types of medications. Ms Traylor other alternatives worked for me (SMILE). Stay safe and healthy...

I am a semi recent California transplant Therefore I have no local doctor yet. Unfortunately I caught the coronavirus. Due to the pandemic most doctors were not taking new clients. I called dozens of clinics etc. to no avail. I’m also on a fixed income. The clinics that would see me wanted hundreds of dollars upfront just to see the doctor. That did not include any thing that accrued more charges during the visit. I was ready to just take my chances gambling with death. I came across the phone number to Primacare. They were so nice and helpful on the phone so I made the appointment. There were no charges for me before or after my visit. My Medicare should cover most of my visit and whatever isn’t covered I can make payments on. That I can afford! The nurse practitioner was so very friendly and had an amazing bedside manner. I would recommend this location to anyone seeking medical care. I am very picky about my doctors and I would love to consider this place my primary care physician if that were possible.

I had an amazing experience at this Primacare. I took my son. We walked in about 30 mins before closing, and they welcomed us. We were seen quickly and prescribed medication and were given a doctors note.

The receptionist was very helpful upon my arrival. She was very friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked thru the door. My wait time was very brief for my appt. The Dr explained a lot of things to me that would be beneficial to my long term health. Overall a very good visit.

The most awful place I ever been just got there because my son had earache and fever but the receptionist was so racist, she told me that they will call me and they never did I wait for 2 hours, when I got tired and go in to check how long was going to wait more, she take me out of the system because I didn’t answer. I told her you never call. The only thing she said is we do never call. I was supposed to wait on the waiting room but she denied what she was previously said me wait on the car, after waiting for another 30 minutes she give priority to other patients instead of put my son because I was waiting too long. my baby was crying for the pain and she told to shut him up because he was crying too loud I decided to walk out I can’t believe what type of people they have working there they need to change and prioritize emergencies on patient

I’m in town from out of state! The absolute most professional, caring, and attentive service I have ever received! It was quick to check in. I had my ID and Insurance card and it was smooth sailing.

We booked an appointment to have a Covid test. The website ONLY listed a $75 charge. When we arrived we were told “prices start at $365 for the office visit.” The $75 would be additional. Plus, presumably, anything else they could think to add on. Absolutely shameful practices.

Didnt correctly call my husbands medication in after his appointment we had to wait over night and I had to go back into the office the next day. Never got a response from managers after emailing them. They didnt care they treated him with negligence. I will not return.

When a client wants to see a Doctor there shouldn’t be any push back. Clients also see Doctors for commutation that is SPECIFICALLY for the Doctor. PRIVATE. She is terrible!!!!!! She is not a Doctor

After dealing with knee pain for almost a week, I scheduled an appt with my PCP who I couldnt see until late Monday afternoon. Early Saturday morning I decided to try PrimaCare set an appt online for 820am and filled out all the paperwork online. I arrived at 816a and was immediately greeted and called to the back at 828a. I received amazing, courteous, and professional service during my entire visit and was out in roughly an hour. I highly recommend this PrimaCare location (Desoto).

I have been to Prima Care in DeSoto about 6 times now. The office is clean and the staff is courteous, friendly and professional. I want consider going anywhere else even though I live in Cedar Hill.

I love going here if I have an emergency and cant get to my primary doctor. They are very caring and pay close attention to detail. The wait is not long at all and you dont have to have an appointment to be seen.

The staff at Primacare Desoto, TX location were fantastic and efficient. I was greeted and listened to. The check-in was seamless. I am a nurse and impressed with the cleanliness and adherence to contact/ PPE guidelines in this COVID climate. My triage nurse and provider were informative, matter of fact, and respectful. The scheduling and check-in was Quick and easy. Very thoroughly with exam and understood my concerns.

I called before I came to see if they was doing walk-in, they lady confirmed they were I made sure they accepted my sons insurance before I came . When I get here the same lady tells me that the wait time is 2 to 2 1/2 hours LONG. It would be smart to mention this over the phone.

The nurse practitioner was so great. I never see the DR unless I have to and she made my visit a good one. They also had good options for no insurance.

What’s the point in making an appointment if walk-ins will be seen first. My appointment was at 2pm. I got here at 1:45 pm and checked in. It’s now 2:30 pm and I was told it would be another 30 minutes because they had so many walk-ins they had to accommodate.
