AFC Urgent Care Denver Speer

I appreciate the customer service from the time of arrival to the time I left. The MA the front desk receptionist and the NP or PA or doctor on duty very professional very down to earth empathetic and compassionate plus idealistic! She had amazing bedside mannerisms met me with the same energy I had and locked eyes dont get that from many doctors and I felt like she was my own primary doctor for that thank you AFC urgent Care staff. Oh and by the way the medical assistant she just was on point she caused me to feel very comfortable, and the doctor on duty, she made sure she took care of my primary complaints.

Maryssa was very helpful. Outside of helping me with my initial meeting for my appointment at tuberculosis screening. She also is very helpful in me setting up an appointment for qualifying for semigluetide.

Angela and Bethany were amazing and I was seen super quick.Arrived at 9:45 for my 10am, and by 10:30am I was out the door with my prescription. Super clean and tidy inside. Masks available everywhere and plenty of parking. Will continue to choose this location for urgent needs.

I visited AFC for an immigration medical exam and my experience was very positive. Everyone was really nice, helpful and accommodating. There was no long wait time between the first and second exam appointment.Giselle was very attentive, kind and helpful and dr. Ahmed made sure I don’t have any additional questions before I was done with the exam. Highly recommend AFC Urgent Care to anyone needing any medical help.I want to add that AFC had one of the cheapest rates for immigration medical exam and they were incredibly transparent with the whole process. Angel and Bethany went above and beyond with their service. I went in very sick with all the things going around, and I had a great visit. The next day they both called to see if I had started feeling any better or if the medication wasn’t working. Luckily I am in the up, but how unexpected and amazing it is to know you are cared for.

I cut my hand with a chainsaw, walked in to the front desk, diamond and teresa took such good care of me and took me right back. i can’t thank them enough for making me feel calm. big s/o to the staff as a whole and doctor Z.

This is a true 4.9 rating for this urgent care.This has been the best experience at an urgent care Ive ever had. Bethany at the front desk took every panicked call with grace and was so helpful and nice. My physician, Kelly didnt make me feel rushed AT ALL throughout my visit and made sure she took the time to answer all of my questions and explained her answers in detail. The woman that drew my blood was better than most of my primary care providers, please give her a raise and a gold star. I hope I dont have to come back but I absolutely will the next time Im sick. Thank you so much to the entire team that helped me during such a stressful and awful time.

Maryssa at the front desk was friendly and very helpful and Halima the MA was very kind, patient, and attentive when listening to my concerns. My whole experience was great and will make me return to afc urgent care. Angela and Bethany made things so smooth with details of starting and ending the process for my visit. Checking in and having all the details for what is going to make recovery better was simple and left me with no questions.

AFC urgent care was wonderful. When I walked in, I was immediately checked in and the front desk employees were very kind (Bethany and another male employee.) I just had the best experience at this AFC urgent care. The space was clean and staff caring & professional. Maryssa at the front desk processed me in quickly & efficiently, and the Medical Assistant Halima kindly & professionally tool my vitals and issue history. The attending doctor Dr. Mazin took my issue seriously, assessed and decided on treatment professionally. I especially appreciated that he took the time to listen to my concerns and then explained his rationale for treatment so that it made sense to me and we were on the same page. Really love this cast and crew, would highly recommend.

I originally signed up for an appointment at 12:12, but because I was sent home earlier I got to the clinic around 10. The front desk her name is Maryssa she was very kind and helpful with changing the appointment time. Jaime was very attentive and thorough. Definitely will becoming back again! Clean clinic, nice staff, quick and easy appointment.

Warm and friendly front desk staff. Bethany made sure I got checked in, and though I hadnt made an appointment she got me in quickly. Angela did triage and yook my vitals, agajn with warmth & caring. I appreciate having this urgent care clinic in my neighborhood.

Amazing! I came in grumpy and then front desk was kind despite my attitude. Both medical assistant/lab technician were kind and attentive. The Dr and the in training Dr topped the whole experience. They made sure to listen to all my concerns and symptoms and were extremely personable. Also, whoever does the hiring… A++. It’s amazing to see such diversity in the medical setting. Came in for an infected tattoo and they had me fixed up and medicated in no time. All of the staff were professional and courteous. Diamond was an excellent help, and was able to even save me some money on my visit by getting me in the correct tier for pricing. I would highly recommend this location for your urgent care needs.

Actually had a really great experience. Super quick to my house and was seen quickly by Bethany at the front desk and checked in. Immediately Angela got me settled and started our visit. The PA Sarah was really friendly and easy to talk to. They all got me on my way quickly. Would definitely come back (if needed haha).

Cindy was sweet and kind with me while I figured out all the check-in steps. The Doctor was also so incredibly kind and had amazing best side manor. I couldn’t recommend this Urgent Care more if you want to leave feeling great all around! The staff was also so patient and comforting to a little girl who was having a hard time when leaving. You can always tell a great staff by how they treat people in those overwhelming moments.

Liz and william were great they and everyone else i talked to were very helpful and provided fast and efficient service. Though i do think the flu and covid rapid test swab should have been inserted further up my nostrils.

Extremely empathetic, helpful and kind. Very thoughtful and supportive. I really didnt want to go and up front the cost but it was worth every penny not just for my health but for how well and quickly they took care of me. Im very grateful to the ladies working here who attended me and would recommend this location.

I scheduled an appointment for a foot/ankle injury. Krystal was very professional, caring, sincere and gentle. The NP on duty was professional and caring. I would visit this facility again.

I was seen and triaged by Kiana. She was very friendly, and took her time to talk and empathize with me. She listened to my symptoms, ran the strep throat and flu tests quickly and treated me with respect the entire time. She was also very funny, relating to my difficulties in adapting to the Colorado dry weather.My visit was overall very good. Everyone was nice, courteous and took good care of me.Doctor Bradley listened to my guess that I had strep and, when the test came back negative, he suggested an influenza test, which came back positive, unfortunately, but shows his knowledge and willingness to still listen to the patient. He recommended treatment with Tamiflu and prednisone. They team quickly sent my prescription to the pharmacy that worked best for me and I was on my way.Definitely recommend AFC Urgent care.

I take many pre employment drug screens (travel nurse) and this has to be the best location I’ve been to! Bethany and Diamond made things so easy and fast for me. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes without having to schedule an appointment. Keep it up guys!

They were absolutely awesome….. DID I SAY????? Awesome they made me so comfortable as I’m scared going to any facility, my dad, stepmom and aunt died during the pandemic one on the 4th the next on the 6th the last one on the 8th one this Covid I’ve been so scared going to get checked by anyone but I’m so happy I walked into this clinic they are all super awesome made me feel like a million. I have been twice. Check in was easy. There was a kiosk available but the young lady at the window was quick to assist whenever she was free.Both doctors listened and gathered information. Getting prescriptions at the nearby Safeway was seamless.

I was sick and miserable and came in as a walk-in. Being from out of state, my boyfriend brought me straight here because he “knows a good clinic.” And after my visit, I have to agree. There were so many other patients there, some needing much more urgent care, and I did have to wait over an hour. I would have likely just left and went to another clinic, BUT Jaime at the front desk just had the best calming energy. He managed the flow of all the visits so well and didn’t leave me in the dark wondering when my turn would be. He gave me sevvveral options to avoid or work around the wait, but I felt so taken care of already that I didn’t want to leave. Thank you Jaime for juggling us all and not dropping the ball! Thank you Doctor Blaine for your attentive presence even being spread so thin amongst us patients. A place worth some patience.

Bethany up front was excellent, I showed up early for my appointment and she was prompt and transparent about wait times and worked with me. Angela in the back was great, very personable and professional. Very kind staff at this location.

Came in today for severe pain in my eyes and Dr. William Drew was awesome. He was able to determine that I had a scratch in each eye and he gave me some relieving eye drops that were literal magic. He was reassuring, calming, and very professional. If I ever need to go back to an urgent care I will 100% be returning to this one.

Had a follow up appointment today and was in and out in less than 30 mins! Staff is very attentive and knows when you just aren’t feeling good! Saw a different doctor today and she was great as well! Understanding of my concerns and set me at ease!

Walked in and Giselle was super sweet! Greeted us and got my fiance an do both checked in quickly. Jaime took my vitals, made me comfortable, didnt question any of my symptoms and it was such a short appointment. Highly recommend this location.

I love this AFC, they’ve always been such a great experience. I got a concussion recently and the staff there had been so kind and accommodating as I’ve needed to come back for re-evaluation. Maryssa at the front desk has helped me every time and she’s been so helpful! Have nothing but great things to say about this clinic.

It seems that nearly every time I come here, the people at the front desk are so inconvenienced to help. Always so rude to me. There was also a great deal of miscommunication about my billing the last time I had to come here. I had to pay for my visit two different times because the lady over the phone said she canceled my payment out of pocket to bill to my insurance. Never had insurance, never said to cancel my original payment. I said over and over again to multiple people on staff that I was paying with my own money. A lot of phone tagging between me and the billing department, which was a bit of a hassle. The medical team itself are always happy to assist in whatever my issues are and I have no problems with them. They always exhibit patience and understanding unlike those upfront for whatever reason.

Gisselle and Bethany at the front desk are terrific! Got me in quickly, patched me up and I was on my way. Would definitely go here again if I had to. Hopefully that’s not too soon, but hopefully they’re working if it is.

Bethany was very polite and got me scheduled for an appointment after we determined the wait time was a little too long. angela was thorough and made sure i understood what was going on and that all my questions were answered

I usually have a good experience with this place and I have continued to go here but not anymore. I went in yesterday for an ear infection. I was checked in fast but I waited for over an hour in the room. I heard the person in the next room complain even. I was briefly seen and they sent in prescription. They sent an eye drop medication and the pharmacy told me that’s what doctors do sometimes so I called to check because I am in my second trimester of pregnancy and taking wrong antibiotics in wrong places concerned me. The urgent care indeed didn’t care to take the time and issue a pregnant woman correct medication and sent a wrong prescription. They said they would immediately send the right one. I waited hours and they didn’t. Now the pharmacy said they should get it soon but they’re closing. Now I have gone two days with a migraine and vomiting from my ear pain and now I have to wait till the morning for antibiotics I should already have in my system helping. This is a miserable and upsetting experience. People should be treated with better care and take the one minute to make sure a patient is getting appropriate prescriptions and care :(

I love this urgent care. They have really been blessed with great staff and drs. My daughter and I had very great service even when they are about to close they make you feel good. The front desk Cindy was so nice and she remember who I was from me calling earlier that day. That was really cool and great customer service experience. Came in on a Monday afternoon as I was having trouble hearing out of my left ear. From checking in to getting my earwax flushed, my entire visit took less than an hour. Hugo did a great job with checking both my ears and helping me get my hearing back. Highly recommend! Thanks again!

Was feeling a bit under the weather with a persistent sore throat, and discovered this clinic in my neighborhood after deciding to check myself for strep throat. Received friendly attention from the front desk crew and quality care from Gisselle and Dr. Maureen. On the mend and pleased to learn I have this great amenity within walking distance.

AFC was amazing!! Jazmyne at the front desk helped me with all of my insurance questions and guided me on what to do because I was from out of town and my insurance company was closed (Sunday). They had compassion and patience. I got in and out of there in under an hour and the doctors took me seriously, which is often times hard to find. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in need! This AFC Urgent care is by far the best I’ve ever been to. The staff is incredibly helpful and kind each time I’ve been here. The providers and medical assistants are knowledgeable, thoughtful, and always on time. This most recent time, I saw Gisselle and Dr. Mladenov and they were amazing as always. No matter how far away I live, I will always come to this urgent care-the care is always just that great!

Went in very sick with upper respiratory problems, I couldn’t get into see my primary Dr until Monday morning so I went here seeking help. I was sent home with a couch suppressant and Flonase to find out that I had pneumonia! I spent the entire weekend severely sick, only getting worse with no help from this urgent care.Thank you for your response Katie, however, no, no one did a follow up to check in on me after my visit and in my opinion a more appropriate response would be an apology for the lack of care provided and a promise to do better in the future.

I was in and out of there with a solution quickly. And the office called me the next day to ensure I was still okay and didnt have any new followup questions. Overall very impressed. Im a veteran and after talking to the VA this morning learned I could visit AFC rather than an ER much further away. Check in was painless, care was efficient and friendly, both the MA and the PA were great. Got seen, got a script to fix the issue, and on with my day! I already told a few people how surprisingly positive the experience was.

I have been here more times than I would like to think about. Always a great experience from checking in with the front desk to leaving. Lizabeth helped me out this latest time and she was patient, friendly, thorough but quick.In the past, I’ve only had one negative experience where I felt I was forgotten about or communication wasn’t as clear to me, but for working in an urgent care office (and compared to many other urgent care establishments) they usually exceed expectations. Best experience Ive had at an urgent care, the receptionist Jasmine was sweet, the X-ray tech Diamond was sweet, and the PA Bertha Robles was awesome as well. I dont know the ladys name that checked my vitals but she was also a Gem. Awesome experience no complaints ❤️❤️

Jazmyne was very sweet but very professional. Fast and efficient. As was the front desk. The physician was attentive and compassionate and got me in and out with minimum trouble. I didnt feel rushed though. I felt very well tended to. I would highly recommend this Urgent Care team.

I came into the urgent care while navigating an allergic reaction to peanuts - The provider and medical assistants who took care of me while I was at AFC were the best group of urgent care staff I have ever experienced! They made the experience painless and I really appreciated their kindness and the time that they took to thoroughly explain to me what they had done during the appointment to help with my allergic reaction as well as the best next steps to take. I had read all of the amazing reviews already and our experience did not disappoint! Everyone was so nice, we were seen super quickly and they had all these amazing toys for my son to play with. Oh and stickers!

From the minute I walked in Jazmyne took excellent care of me. It was clean and open. I recommend anyone to go here if you need Urgent Care. In and out so fast. Pre-register and you will not wait at all.Vanessa my nurse made sure I was comfortable and my vitals were all collected.My doctor was the best. I was a little freaked out but he gave me the info i needed to relax and took time to make sure I understood.

I went to AFC urgent care based off the reviews and was not surprised by the great service I received. When entering Jazmyne and Cindy greeted me and made my check in so easy. They allowed me to fill out my paperwork at my own pace and got me checked in quickly. I recently got into a motorcycle accident and broke my pinky, when informing them they immediately told me they dont do X-rays on Wednesday and would have to go to another location to receive them. I didnt mind this but appreciate the transparency before getting checked in instead of being seen then them telling me this. After seeing Dr. Withers who was also sweet during the whole exam I went to the other location and got my X-rays done. Upon my arrival Cindy and Jazmyne greeted me again and took me back to get what I needed done now that the rads were done. Diamond was such a sweet heart when applying my cast and made sure i was comfortable where ever i was in the room. She made sure she wasnt causing any pain when doing this task and made sure i was comfortable before letting me leave. We reviewed my discharge and they sent me on my way. Glad to post this review as my experience here was GREAT!

Seriously this was THE best urgent care experience I’ve had in a while. Gisselle, Diamond, and Dr.McGurren were absolutely wonderful and got me in and out within 20 minutes. They took me seriously and answered ALL my questions.

Excellent experience here! Was able to get an appt in less than 24 hours, the staff welcomed me back right on time and everyone was very warm & kind. Test results were available in 3 business days & the delivery was very professional. Would absolutely trust AFC with future health needs & Lizbeth was especially lovely :)

This was one of the best urgent care experiences I’ve ever had. Gisselle, at the front desk, was super efficient and talked me through all steps of paperwork and check in - which made an anxious trip to the urgent care so much better! Dr. McGurren was also phenomenal. His soft touch and personal approach helped comfort me through an anxious, and scary, and made me feel safe and confirmed that I was in good hands!

Ive always had a great experience here, and that was no different this time around. Jazmyne at the front desk was kind and helpful, and the person who drew my blood (sorry, Im bad with names), handled my vasovagal response very well and even brought me crackers and juice! We came to AFC urgent care today and we got an exceptional 5 start since we got here. The receptionist was very nice and the nurses Krystal and Helima were AMAZING, thank you so much for what you do, keep the good work.

We had a smooth and seamless visit to the clinic. My son had to be tested for mono and strep and Lizbeth was kind, gentle and did a great job distracting him while obtaining the samples. The providers were thorough, attentive and efficient. I highly recommend this location.

I went to AFC for a pre-employment drug test due to their Quest Diagnostics lab on location. (I had been here eons ago when I was sick and remembered they were awesome!) Maryssa was extremely kind and helpful in getting me registered, and Jaime was very professional. They weren’t very busy today and I only had to wait around 10 minutes. (I did call earlier and they said I could do a walk-in.) The facility itself was very spacious and clean, and there is ample parking considering its proximity to downtown. I would definitely come back in the future if I needed medical attention. [For what it is worth, to have 4.9 out of 5 stars for a healthcare facility makes them a unicorn- I’m in healthcare and trust me people can be brutal- this nods to the fact that this facility is well-managed and staffed with wonderful people.] Thank you AFC!

Could not say better things about this place! Went in for an X-ray to confirm a broken bone and was done within 30 minutes from start to finish. (Went in on Tuesday around 1230). Diamond was wonderful and provided gentle care every step of the way. Michael was also very helpful and patient with any questions I had for the recovery process. I’ve had my fair share of urgent care visits across Denver, and have to say, this was a top tier experience!

I’ve had to come here a couple different times for a variety of issues, and every time they’ve been amazing! Today I went in for hives and every member of the staff was AMAZING and helped me calm down a lot. Jazmyne was especially great, and everyone was efficient and nice and got me the meds I needed. I called AFC on speer to ask their drug screening times yesterday. Maryssa answered and was very professional and kind when she let me know the drug screening times. I arrived today and Maryssa and her coworker Jaime instantly stop talking to address me with a warm, Hello. I was called after 3-5 minutes by Lisbeth to do my drug screening They all seem very professional and enjoy their work. Lobby is very clean here compared to previous locations Ive been. The drug screening process was handled with respect and Lisbeth let me know estimated wait time for results. Thanks all!

Went in for food poisoning and ended up needing to get an IV. Gisselle, our MA, was great. She was patient and kind in putting in my IV as I was dehydrated and have a fear of needles.

Honestly, super impressed with this urgent care (and I never say anything like that typically when it comes to healthcare in America lol!) The lobby is clean, modern, and not scary/bad vibes. The staff were all friendly and clear. They were extremely quick in getting me seen, taking my vitals, and then the doctor coming in to provide further care. I got the things I needed for my wound and felt super taken care of. Got a juice box after my tetanus shot, wooo! If you ever step on a nail—go here. And if you get Lizbeth as your initial provider/shot giver, you’re in luck. She was super nice and great at her job.

Both times Ive gone Ive gotten super prompt and effective service. Im also self pay and this is fairly reasonably priced. Last time I went in I got a chest x-ray and the total cost without insurance was around 300$. The most recent time I came in Jazmyne at the front desk was particularly helpful. My name had been misspelled in their system but Jazmyne managed to find me in spite of that and saved me a bunch of time and paperwork.

I have had 2 wonderful experiences at this urgent care. People are kind, patient and the space is clean and organized. Highly recommend.

Incorrectly told me I had hepatitis B! I went in for routine STD tests and was told I had hepatitis B. Thats all. No advice, no further information. When I asked what I do next, all they said was it will clear up on its own. Knowing I did nothing to expose myself to hepatitis B, the only explanation that made sense was that I was infected years ago, and now had a chronic infection. I went to my Dr. with the news and he was immediately skeptical. After doing more testing, I discovered that I never had hepatitis B, but immunity from being vaccinated against it. How does a medical establishment make this kind of mistake?! I had to spend one week being extremely depressed and stressed out about having a lifelong, chronic hepatitis infection for nothing. These people dont understand the gravity of their carelessness.

Great experience! Booked my appointment that morning and was in and out in under 20 minutes. Jazmyne at the Front Desk was quick and efficient with check in and Giselle my nurse was kind and explained my next steps very throughly. The doctor was very kind as well and got me a referral right away to an ENT. Will be using them again for any last minute doctor needs!

Having a gout issue, this one is going longer than others, am glad there is not a bunch of red tape to hinder a prescription. Walking with this affliction is arduous so the telemedecine was a great convivence.

I walked in without an appointment, was seen right away for a Covid test, and left in less than 10 minutes total. Then they called with my results within 20. Will happily visit again.

Jayzmyne was great she was able to get me treated 20 mins after they stopped doing the procedure I needed. She didn’t have to do that but I’m very thankful she did. I will definitely return
