Jeffrey N. Allen and his staff were very attentive and took great care of our son. He accommodated and made sure all our needs were met in a timely manner. They even went out of their way to call theX-Ray tech that was at another location to come and take images of our sons knee. Great guy and even better with kids!!!

The staff and cleanliness of the facility is always on point. Nurses change but Jeff the PA is always there and helps out so much. Nurses are great too. This is my number one choice when I can’t get in w my primary.

The Physicians assistant was fantastic, thorough, and empathetic. My only deduction is(and this is all places now not just this urgent care) for seeing a PA. I have the utmost respect for PAs and Nurses. However, there are just too many things that a Doctor can do and prescribe that a PA or nurse cannot. Please go back to having doctors in Urgent Cares and Doctors offices. If only it were about patient care first and bottom line second perhaps we would get the health care we deserve and want.

The online appointment was easy, many spots available. You check yourself in upon arrival. They let me know my out of pocket before service so i knew how to proceed. George, the P.A. who saw my child, introduced himself, listened to my concerns and addressed them all with patience and care.

The staff and the doctor were very nice. However, I didnt appreciate being charge a $75 copay and then five minutes into the visit, the doctor said he couldnt do anything for me and was sending me to the ER. It seems they could have refunded the $75. Also, the doctor sent me to one of the nastiest, sketchiest ERs I have ever seen. I went through security, surveyed the waiting room and promptly left through a side door to go to the ER closer to my home.

I was checked in quickly and I was seen within 10 minutes by someone knowledgeable and kind. I received the tests that I needed and got some good advice to deal with my flu symptoms. The location is clean and looks to be managed well by all the staff. This is my go-to for when I need immediate (but not ER-worthy) care.

Ease of use for setting appointment. My medical providers had excellent bed side manner. They listened and treated me with respect and dignity. Jeff was awesome

The front staff that checked me in was amazing. The PA was extremely thorough and great bed side manner. Went through my x-ray results and was great at explaining things in a way for me to understand.

Convenient location, but only if you go during 8-5 business hours. Assume their service hours are 2 hours shorter than they post online as I’ve had 4 different trips after work where there were 2-3 employees and 0-1 patients waiting (physically there or on the digital waiting list) and they said they didn’t have time take any more patients. Seems like they want to finish paperwork by the time the doors close. They’ll direct you to Steele Creek if you need an UC or to the ER.

Clean. Friendly, welcoming staff. Reasonably prompt for a drop in urgent care session. Thorough. My experience was good and I felt well attended.

I needed stitches remove. I made the appointment on line, showed up a little early and was seen quickly. It look very little time and everyone was really nice and professional.

Catherine B from guest services was outstanding. She constantly checked on me and my family as we waited for the doctor and nurse to come in. She provided us blankets and constantly gave my family and I detailed updates on what was happening during my wait which made the wait time a lot more bearable. The total time that I was in the ER was about 7 hours. I would like to let her manager Crystal M know that she is an amazing employee and deserves a raise. All was good until I discover a culture test saying the med would not help the UTI. I was under the impression that I could not furnish enough urine to do a culture? How then did it turn out to be enough?

GOOD VISIT - I HAD EARR WAX REMOVED - NEW THING FOR ME.I WANT TO SHARE THAT I HAVE HAD BLOOD PRESSURE TAKEN MYENTIRE LIFE -THE BLOOD PRESSURE MACHINE USED ON MEIS IN NEED OF CAIBRATION - ITS TERRIBLE. PLEASE LOOK AT THIS- IMPROPER USE THAT IS PAINFUL.

My 20 year-old daughter saw a pregnant female provider at this facility today. If I wasnt sick, I would have been there with her - and I boy do I wish I had been. The provider was rude, uncaring, and dismissive, basically accused my daughter of drinking too much and having pancreatitis - which was a completely false accusation and an equally false diagnosis. She wrote her 3 prescriptions and sent her on her way (without addressing the underlying issue), 2 of which had absolutely no relevance to her medical issue (per the pharmacist). VERY unhappy mom. No one in our family will ever return to this facility. This provider could easily serve as a poster child for everything wrong with our healthcare system.

I came down with a nasty sinus infection. I was able to make a same day appointment and was called back within 10 minutes of checking in. I completed the paperwork online ahead of time so check in was a breeze. There is only a small co pay with my insurance. It is located in a shopping center almost within walking distance of where I live. The provider was gracious and accommodating and I feel like I received an apporpriate diagnosis for my condition.

This was my 2nd visit and both visits were on a Sunday. The online reservation worked very well. The staff was very pleasant and professional. I was seen in a fairly quick time frame and given the medicine RX for what I needed. The waiting room, exam rooms, and restroom were all very clean. I highly recommend this location!

The professionalism and the care we received from the staff, especially Jeff, Princess and Tiffany. They all took the time to show so much care to our daughter. I would love for them to be her primary doctor. They are an awesome team. Booked appointment online was easy and wait time was reasonable. The facility was nice and clean and they had mask and sanitizers readily availble at front desk.Overall satisfied with my experience. Now our daughter is feeling so much better and is back at school. I would definitely tell anyone to give them a chance.

Jeff was fantastic! He worked his fanny off with all the patients and walk ins like me. He kept his cool and gave everyone his best, even just checking in on waiting patients. Very good bedside manner!

Walked in to be seen, front desk said they were booked and couldn’t take any walk ins. Despite the fact that there is a huge sign on the front door that says “Walk Ins Welcomed”. She then asked me what symptoms I had, that of which I told her. She recommended that I see ER.I asked if I could be tested for flu, covid and possibly have an X-ray. She said they could but it would still be recommended to go to the ER.A nurse overheard our conversation and said “if someone told you those symptoms, don’t you think you’d recommend them to go to the ER, we don’t have the ability to do a chest work up here.”My symptoms were a cough, headache, and muscle aches.I understand that things can be a liability and that nurses are overworked and exhausted, but this inexcusable.I went to a different urgent care the following day, they were more than happy to see me, did exactly what I thought they’d do (Covid and flu test with a chest X-ray)I tested negative for all 3, and diagnosed with Pneumonia

The check in process, the nurse and the PA were all very efficient. I had four tests, got the results and was out in a little more than an hour. Highly recommend.

I visited the new Urgent Care Monday for a very bad reaction to a bee sting. My wrist and hand were swollen, hives, very red and hot to the touch. The experience was wonderful. Great facility. Knowledgeable, friendly staff. The P.A. I met with was engaging and gave me helpful information about my situation. He prescribed meds and a plan and two days later, I cant believe the difference. Im very happy theyre in our neighborhood. If you need help, this is the place to go. Thank you Novant team 😄

This was unfortunately my second trip to urgent care this year but both times I have been to this location, they have been fantastic. I did not feel rushed, very friendly, took the time to listen to everything I had going on and were very helpful

The facility was very nice and customer friendly. The staff were efficient and friendly. They took me as soon as I checked in. Great service, quick and easy check in. Highly recommend this location. Also it was easy to book an appointment online.

The provider was wonderful as it was a busy day. He expanded everything. I needed a tetanus shot but there was none at this location. He, along with coworkers, found another urgent care so I was able to get it there quickly. All employees quick and professional.

Extremely RUDE. This is the 3rd time we’ve come to this urgent care and the disrespect at the front desk is beyond believable. A nurse by the last name GUESS told us at 8:15M there was a 2 hour wait though the place was empty. I asked her if we were really going to wait that long being that it was empty and only needed a strep test. She raised her voice and said in a slow demeaning tone ‘let me say that one more time’. I could not take the disrespect. Of course I left and will not be back. Shame on Novant for allowing such rudeness in their facilities.

New location. Very convenient. Clean waiting room. I appreciated that I could monitor our position in the queue.The provider was very nice and thorough. I was really pleased I could get a strep test after normal office hours. I would definitely come again if I need urgent care.

Full disclosure: I am a healthcare provider and former Novant employee and prefer Novant for my primary care and any specialty/hospital needs. That said, this place appears to be a partnership between Novant and GoHealth. My mom had a poor experience here and I also had a poor experience. The issue is the ancillary staff are rude and poorly trained. If they are questioned at all, they just keep talking over you and then terminate the call. If they make mistakes, they are not acknowledged and these ancillary people do not seem to be either empathetic or knowledgeable. They make patients wait while holding personal conversations and when there is a problem, refuse to provide you with the contact info for anyone to assist or the email for concerns to be addressed. I was unlucky enough to have to speak with Keisha and she really does not need to be in a customer facing role as her people skills are non-existent. I also thought it rich that she felt confident enough to tell me that my issue was better addressed at a primary care provider and not an urgent care. Literally laugh out loud ridiculous. I would not advise going to this urgent care unless they provide some serious accountability and clean up from a management perspective. Of note, the provider, Jeffrey, was empathetic and followed appropriate treatment guidelines. Pathetic, poorly trained, and unkind, disrespectful ancillary staff are creating a poor association with Novant’s excellent reputation. I will go to my primary care for any urgent care and would recommend all other potential patients do the same. Avoid locations where GoHealth is a partner.

I was seen at my scheduled appointment time. The front desk staff was polite and professional. The PA was attentive, thorough and answered all my questions/concerns. I will be returning to this urgent care in the future if needed even though there is one closer to my home.

Absolutely poor hospitality and customer care. Refused service when asked for a simple blood pressure check and EKG reading. Healthcare is way too important to be placed in the hands of people who do NOT care. The personnel at the facility do NOT care.

I went here for a laceration that required stitches after spending nearly all night in an atrium ER without so much as a wound flush or much more than a single piece of gauze and coband to stop the bleeding. Now having worked in Healthcare, I know how busy and understaffed ERs can be, but to be blunt my experience and treatment at atrium was INCREDIBLY sub par, and quite frankly inhumane.This facility did more for me in the first 45 minutes I was there than the entirety of my hours long stay at atrium. As someone who currently has no insurance, there was a marked difference in how I was treated and prioritized due to this fact. This urgent care, however, took my (very reasonable) co pay and proceeded to provide prompt and uncondescending service.The staff here are not only incredibly articulate, compassionate, and efficient, but also KIND. The contrast between their bedside manner here and atriums is palpable.The Nurse Stephanie did an incredible job of cleaning the laceration. She was professional yet compassionate in offering an ear for me to express my displeasure with my treatment at atrium. Focusing on the negative in any experience is not a habit of mine, but I assure you that the stark contrast in my time spent and treatment at atrium and novant facilities warranted a little griping from me.The PA, George, did a fabulous job of painlessly stitching my thumb up. He also clearly explained to me that due to the fact that I may have also incurred tendon damage, I would have to follow up with a hand surgeon.I have a tendency to minimize the seriousness of any medical maladies I incur, and noticing such, George made sure that he was able to contact a hand surgeon for me to follow up with before I left. This involved making a series of phonecalls and leaving a number of voice messages in anticipation of actually speaking to someone over a period of at least an hour which is a testament to his dedication to the welfare of his patients. While waiting for a call back, he and Stephanie both provided outstanding hospitality in making sure I was comfortable, hydrated, and in no pain.Due to the spectacular and prompt care I received here, I am expected to make a full recovery.I cannot even begin to express my gratitude for the exemplary care i received at this facility.

Predatory Pricing. Beware. If you have insurance and your deductible isn’t met you’re in for a high bill! Went in for a 10 min. visit for a rapid strep test. Received a bill 3 months later. They charged $341 for the office visit alone. With insurance I am still stuck paying almost $200 for a 10 min. visit plus the cost of the strep test. Office staff never discussed pricing. Website only has pricing for if you had no insurance which would have been less expensive. Called billing department and was told I should have went to a CVS because that’s the standard price for a visit with them.This is why people die instead of getting medical help.

Doctor was amazing and really took the time to help me. My injury was insanely bad and I probably should have went to the ER but he had the knowledge and experience to help me. He went above and beyond. Id go back and recommend that location to everyone.

Big fan of Novant, whenever possible I use their facilities (My primary doctor and cardiologist). My wife and I visited with Covid symptoms in February 2023. My wife had not been to a Novant facility, but as I noted I have. It took five months to process the bill for the visit. Our insurance paid the entire bill, I assume because we both tested positive for Covid. My total bill was $266, which $187 was for visit and $79 for test. My wifes bill was $420, which was $341 for visit and $79 for test. My wife was charged a new patient price which was $154 more than my charge. We both sat in the same exam room, were both tested by the same person and then both spoke with the same doctor, one after the other. Shame on Novant for charging a new patient price! Its an Urgent Care facility, many people will be new. I know that my insurance covered the charge, but this is why our health care system is broken. As a side note, the Urgent Care facility is right next to Harris Teeter, about 2 months ago I stopped in and stated I had not been billed yet, the response from behind the far back desk was dont worry about it then.

Office staff Was incredibly helpful and very kind an informative. I also appreciate it to the doctor and all of his knowledge, it wasnt too expensive, so I was very happy about that. I wish there was actually something wrong with me, so I hadnt really come for no reason, but still appreciative to know that everything was OK
