Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care

I was in and out very quickly, the other urgent cares around had an hour or longer wait but they got me in within 10 minutes! Dr. Hunkele was very kind and compassionate and really seemed like he cared. He took the time to listen to me even when I was talking about things unrelated to my current issue and didnt rush me. Im feeling much better after starting the medications he prescribed and am very grateful for all his help.

The facility was brand new and very clean. I was able to make an appointment online and be seen within the hour, and it was close to where I live. All the staff were incredibly kind and compassionate. They genuinely seemed concerned about how sick I was and worked as fast as they could to test me and get me on my way with a diagnosis, prescriptions, and care instructions. I would highly recommend this urgent care.

I have to say that this is by far one of the best urgent care locations I have been to with my boys. They both have a rare disorder and the doctor here was the first to know what it is without me having to explaining it, as it should be! Great staff, and the doctors are great as well ESPECIALLY Dr. Hunkele(sorry if I spelled it incorrectly). Best doctor I’ve found since moving down here from NY!

Dr. Hunkele is the best doctor I have ever seen. He was incredibly thorough, understanding, easy to talk to, and open to solutions and tests to get to the root cause of my issue, which has proven difficult to nail down with other doctors. The nurses at the location are some of the nicest I have ever met as well. I’d give this location 10 stars if I could!

Fortunately, I was much better by the time I got to Urgentcare. But nice to know I didn’t have Covid or the flu. Glad you made available this Novemt Urgentcare site in the Arboretum.

Weve had to go in twice for my son and Dr. Hunkele has seen us, he really knows his stuff, very personable, and we felt like we had all our questions answered. We wish he had a family practice, my son really liked him! We did have to run to another location for an Xray, not the end of the world, but worth noting.

Everyone was very kind. The dr was thorough, funny, easy to talk to and answered all our questions. We will definitely be back. We even joked that we would like him for our general doctor.

We love this Urgent Care location! My son hurt his knee and needed stitches. The doctor and nurses were super patient and got us in and out in 20 minutes. Recommend this location 100%. You can get appointment online and it’s very we run.

Wonderful staff. Caring and listened to me as a patient. Very quickly gave me a diagnosis and sent my meds to the pharmacy. Mr. Criss was great.

I recently had to come to get checked for a concern, Dr. Hunkele was awesome! He was super knowledgeable and kind. Ended up being nothing serious and he gave me all the options available. His expertise was very reassuring and calming. I will certainly come back if ever in need.

I was so excited that this new office opened right by our children’s school. It was easy to make an appointment and the clinician and PA were both amazing. They were kind and went above and beyond. We will be back!

Candace and NP Owen were kind, professional, and empathetic. Id like Owen to be my PCP if he sees patients in a clinic setting. Hes that good.

Great new location. I have had many good experiences at Novant Health Urgent Care locations and this new location is a great addition to the group and even more convenient. Front desk team is very helpful and kind.

The staff was so kind. I was seen in a timely manner and the NP was very helpful. I had a very good experience.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The PA listened to my symptoms asked questions, and explained a treatment plan. I was very pleased with the location and wait time.

Novant is great, the third party contract with GoHeath is less than ideal. The changes due to it not being fully Novant include having to re-register a sick child in an urgent situation!The provider was knowledgeable, the care my daughter received from the lady at the front desk was caring. But the process was incredibly off putting. I chose that location because of the Novant name. I did not have a Novant experience. The GoHealth contract needs some work.

Friendly, fast, accurate and the customer communication was so helpful. I am from out of town and the staff was so helpful In giving me directions and called me back with results as discussed. They took the stress out of the situation.

I was checked in quickly. The staff was very attentive. Dr. Lewis came in quickly, and explained things in great detail. Even though I had to travel almost an hour to get there, I would definitely make the drive in the future if needed.
