AFC Urgent Care Burlington

Came in with a previously undiagnosed foot fracture. X-rays were taken and read, and a boot was given all within the span of 45 minutes, which was great because I had to get to the airport for a flight to Chicago. As a matter of fact I’m sending this from the airport because I’m all outfitted and on my way due to the excellent and timely service. Shout out to Catherine for helping me through the process!

Big thanks to Jillian my NP on Sunday, July 7. She was kind and compassionate and offered me amazing medical care. Cleansing some deep wounds and stitching them up, she kept me calm and relaxed! Also thanks to Liem and James who also showed me great care and kindness! I cannot say enough about how great a team they are! Vanessa also offered me much kindness and helped me out when I called with a follow up question! Definitely a team I would trust!! Thank you all!

This is a fantastic facility. The staff are friendly and professional. They provided guidance on what may have caused or contributed to the condition, and suggested ways to manage the condition. I was pleasantly surprised when NP Jillian called me after the visit to suggest another possible cause of the rash. I highly recommend AFC Burlington.

As a complex patient, I was worried about being taken seriously. The nurse and the doctor heard my concerns and believed me. They didnt rush me and they made me feel like my situation mattered. Their willingness to order tests was helpful and I appreciated how they clarified which tests would be covered under insurance. The place was quiet, clean, and waiting to be seen only took five minutes.

The medical assistant was wonderful! Last visit she saw my daughter and was so patient and good with her, today I had the pleasure of being seen by her!I’ve also seen this provider a couple of times and she’s always been great!Front staff was super nice, such a smooth process and they did their best to have me in and out which is always appreciated

I highly recommend AFC urgent care! From the reception to the nurses, to the PA, to the technicians everyone is extremely friendly and competent. AFC offers X-ray and lab at the care center itself. The Burlington facility is super clean and comfortable and there is hardly any waiting.

Ive been here a couple times and each time was a great experience! Friendly staff with short wait times. Check in was straight forward and easy. Very convenient location with plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend!

Today I visited AFC Urgent care and had a fantastic experience! The staff was incredibly attentive and caring, making me feel reassured right from the moment I walked in. They were thorough in their examination and treatment, ensuring all my concerns were addressed. The facility was clean, and the wait time was minimal. I went there yesterday after my cat accidentally scratched my eye. They were professional, sympathetic, efficient and most courteous. The facility was immaculate.They advised me to come back in 48 hours to see how my wound was healing. I will definitely go there again in a heartbeat if necessary.

I had the best experience here. The PAs were wonderful and efficient, and the doctor was super thorough. I thought I was coming in with a sinus infection, turned out to be COVID. Got my Paxlovid script and I was in and out within 20 minutes. It was a smooth experience and I would highly recommend.

Being from out of state and living here part-time, I had never been to an Urgent Care Facility. Very nice facility. Was seen right on time. The gentleman at the desk was pleasant and professional. The PA Haley and assistant Reinaldo were great. Will definitely come back when/if necessary.

Great experience at Urgent Care. I went to the Burlington MA location and was pleasantly surprised. On a Sunday afternoon you never know what to expect. I was seen within 10 minutes. All of the staff were very efficient and professional. After the basics, got tested for Covid, Strep, and the flu. Also confirmed that I didn’t have pneumonia. Received results about 45 minutes later confirming the flu. Received instructions on dealing with it Overall very pleased with my trip to Urgent Care 😊

Great customer service! I was able to book the last same day appointment at the end of the day. Liam, at the front desk was an ANGEL, he was very welcoming and flexible and they took great care of my family. The assistants, RN, PA, Dr and everyone in the team were so warm and kind to my kids. I even received a follow up care call the day after, it was so nice and unexpected. This will be my to-go place for urgent care. I highly recommend them!

Cant praise the staff here enough. Went in for glass in my eye, and from the woman I spoke to at the desk, to the nurse, and then the doctor, everyone was excellent at their job, friendly, and genuinely cared. The doctor even said I could stay in the waiting room after and make calls to the places I needed to, as she wanted to make sure I was ok before I left. While I was making those calls, a, let say difficult man walked in who was less then cordial. The way the woman at the front desk handled him with kindness was great. Top notch staff all around. I live closer to the Stoneham one, but if I need anything, Ill be coming back here. Thank you!

Visiting from California after some light surgery last Friday and needed my head stitches removed. Went to the AFC office by my hotel and was in and out in 35 minutes. AND with free parking. The doctor and her staff were very pleasant and professional. Out to dinner in Boston tonight with only a little bandage covering. A very happy traveler.

This is the greatest Urgent Care Ive ever seen. I would eat a meal off of the bathroom floor. The staff treated me like I was family. I cant speak highly enough of this institution, and I plan on returning for my birthday party in January. This feels less like a place of medicine and more of a home.

Receptionist was exceptional as was the doctor and rn on staff. Short wait. Treatment was delivered in the same manner and relief was provided for my injury. Great people, much thanks to your team.

Warm welcome. Walked in. Registration was easy and quick (through a link sent by text message). The wait time was next to zero minute. Nurse and doctor were very professional and helpful.

Prompt, courteous and attentive care. Everyone had a smile and a kind word. I have been there twice this year and both experiences were stellar !

Poorly managed or just grossly understaffed. Sitting in an exam room for over 1hr now despite having an appointment time and the waiting room quite literally being empty. Terrible service

Liam,Jessica and Vanessa at this location are all amazing! I barely had to wait at all, and all 3 of them were so nice and kind and called in my medication quickly.

Told the Doctor exactly what was wrong with me. The same problem that has occurred 9 times before. I just needed antibiotics, like the previous 9 times. Was sent to an ER anyway to get a battery of tests, only to end up with exactly the diagnosis I told them it was. So instead of getting the medicine I needed right away. I got it 7 hours and an ER copay later, and feel significantly worse than if they treated me immediately. All AFC did is pocket my insurance money and pass the buck to a hospital.

I walked in and was seen by a Dr. in less than 10 mins. Very professional and full service had X-rays onsite!

Super fast service, easy registration online, very kind staff. Vanessa was so sweet and Sam (the PA) was very patient and careful.

I had a great experience at AFC. Everyone was friendly and professional! I got excellent treatment in a quick time frame. The office and exam rooms were nice and clean with air purifiers in the exam room.I’ll definitely go back if necessary.Thank you so much!

At first I was quite perturbed because they had me waiting for 10 minutes in the waiting room when I first got there, no problem, but then they brought me back into the examination room and made me wait another 15 minutes there, then came and did my vitals, then left for about 25 more minutes while I sat there, cold, and without breakfast, lightheaded and being sick, when the doctor came in, I told her this much I said you guys are a little disorganized and she said that there were a lot of people sick but did apologize. There was only one other patient there, judging by the office space and the parking lot. The rest of the visit went great. I had an x-ray which I wanted and we talked about my conditions and symptoms, and I was very satisfied by the end of the visit. The doctor understood what I was trying to convey, gave me the right prescription for nasal spray although she did give me prescription that I didn’t know about that I’m not too fond of, benzonatate, which is a shaky medication from what I read on-line, and I don’t think she told me about it beforehand.

Great staff! Friendly and helpful. I’m from out of town and they made my visit easy and enjoyable. If I’m sick in MA again, you can bet I’ll be back!

I was treated respectfully, promptly and did not have to wait long. Staff was lovely and NP KATE was very nice, concerned and thorough and discussed all my concerns. Couldn’t be more pleased! Thank you!!

Brought my Dad in for a rash. I made an appointment online late afternoon the day before. This place is not only clean but very efficient! We were in and out of there within about an hour (last year we spent 9 1/2 hrs in the emergency room!). GREAT alternative when you cant get into your primary cares office.

Got appointment right away. Mostly on time. Nice staff. Doctor addressed my concerns.

Horrible and no work ethic as a health care professional. My wife got into quite big car accident and wanted to check if everything is fine but the doctor doesnt even conduct minimal testing to see if shes ok but rather telling her to go to Lahey hospital ER. If youre not gonna do your job why do you even charge and see the patient?

Needed some in network rsv and flu tests to check some mild symptoms to make sure Im not taking any illnesses home for holidays (immunocompromised family member). Easy to schedule, copay was not expensive, and service was quick, attentive, and kind. I would recommend this clinic. The people evidently care about their patients and ensuring they get good care. The care here was phenomenal. The staff was very attentive and caring for you needs starting from arrival to the very end of your appointment. One person who stood out the most was Freddie. She was very knowledgeable and understanding. Definitely a great place to be.

I’ve been here twice and both times I had a very good experience both with the providers and the front desk. Everyone I interacted with was super friendly and the providers were very communicative and knowledgeable. They also call you in a couple days to check in on how you feel, which I think is super nice too. I’ll keep going to this location and highly recommend it.REVISED REVIEW: I’m editing this review based on my visit today. Contrary to my previous 2 visits, I didnt have a pleasant experience with the attending provider and her assistant. The provider was unfriendly and very short with my questions, and the assistant was very rude in her interactions with me. She took my vitals, didnt say a word or made eye contact and told me you can go now. I will reconsider going back after today. Everyone looked like they were hating their jobs :/

Professional and efficient but still made me feel like they genuinely cared about my health issue (flu). The whole process from checking in, getting my basic vitals, testing, speaking with the doctor, and checking out took less than an hour. I was very happy with their service.

Absolute best urgent care I’ve ever been to! Every staff member was warm, welcoming and thorough. Kelsey, Bianca and Kate were the receptionist, medical assistant, and nurse practitioner on staff today and they got us in and out while making sure we felt comfortable and safe. The doctors can be a scary place but I totally recommend coming here if you’re looking for any urgent care needs! Absolutely phenomenal!

My experience at urgent care was Extremely great, the care I received today from Sumaiya, she was incredibly kind, efficient and comforting. Going to the doctor always gives me major anxiety but the way I was thoughtfully spoken to about my symptoms made me feel cared for and gave me such peace of mind. I was able to receive a diagnosis, given on-site care & have medication sent to my pharmacy all within the span of 30 minute. Great service, clean, welcoming, minimal wait time and friendly staff. All around positive experience.

Staff very pleasant but once again the timing wasnt ideal. I had an appointment scheduled for 8am for a physical and fit test, I didnt leave until almost 9:30. I would recommend they dont allow appointments scheduled until after 8am, I dont know why that would be an option if they didnt even see me until 20minutes later, I was the very first person there and the other people behind me also had appointments. LabCorp is the way to go for any lab tests!

My first time as a patient but customer service was phenomenal. Receptionist makes you feel better even though you are not. Everyone was so kind and welcoming. That made my visit a success.

Absolutely wonderful staff and a welcoming Vibe every time I go. I just recently went for a UTI check up and I was treated with the utmost care and taken care of immediately. If you dont have time to wait for a primary care appointment Urgent Care is the place to go.

I came to AFC urgent care for a covid test. There were very fast and efficient. The gentleman at the front desk, Alex, was very attentive to my check in process. Freddie the medical assistant had a very infectious personality that just brightened up my day. 5/5 stars for this wonderful clinic!!

We had a great experience. The person who checked us in brought over ice for my son and called to get the Radiology tech back early from lunch. The Radiology tech was amazing and even came back early from lunch. Great team and I would definitely return for any future urgent sports injuries!

My experience at this Urgent care was amazing! The staff was extremely nice and wasted no time attending to my injury. Sumaiya was one of the staff members that stood out the most with her care and compassion. We practically became best-friends by the end of the visit.

I was told that an appointment would be faster than just showing up as a walk-in so I set up the earliest appointment an hour later (at 10:15). Though there was only 1 person in the waiting room when I arrived, I was not brought back to an examination room for 40 minutes and then sat in a paper gown for another 45-50 minutes before being seen. It seemed strange that it would take so long when the appointment had been set up prior. The NP seemed empathetic and kind, though.

I when to check my small toe if was broken, my appointment was 9:05 am , they call me 10:15am and put me at the room , 10:30am someone took my virus and asked some questions, the doctor comes around 10:45 and order a X-ray, then after when they took me to do the X-ray , the machine doesn’t work because they not charge the machine battery. I was so angry and upset I left the place without been treated. Worst place ever, not friendly at all. Not recommend to anyone.All.

I genuinely recommend this clinic for anyone who needs to seek medical help, but doesn’t necessarily need to go to an ER or can’t wait for a doctor appointment that’ll only be available in one month. I came there yesterday with my father who experiences a bacterial caused sinus disorders (sinusitis). My father is a foreigner who came here to visit and stay with me for about a month. Unfortunately, he suffers from terrible sinus disorders not long after he arrived here. I had called different hospitals to schedule for a doctor’s appointment, unfortunately no appointment is available until next month. Then I decided to schedule an appointment at this AFC Burlington Urgent Care. I was a little bit skeptical at the beginning, however I decided to give it a shot. When we arrived at the clinic for our appointment, we only waited for about 10 minutes before the PA-C called my father’s name. She ended up prescribing antibiotics to treat my father’s sinus disorders. Within just a day since my father taking the antibiotics, he feels much better. Thank you very much AFC Burlington Urgent Care for providing a much needed medical care at such quick time and affordable price.

Excellent care and very thorough. Brian the x-ray tech completed my arrival documents as well as administering the x-ray procedures. No re-takes, in and out very quickly. The PA was on point in her questions and very professional.I would recommend this facility.

The medical staff was very helpful and courteous. I didn’t have to wait much. I cut my finger and they gave me a tetanus shot, cleaned and dressed the wound and gave me extra dressing. I’ve been here many times, always a good experience considering the circumstances.

I took my mom to this location for health care during her visit from Canada. They saw us quickly and a very reasonable cost. She was very concerned about the cost of seeing a doctor without insurance but it was a minor issue and we were happy with the outcome.

If I could pick zero stars I would. The front desk staff was not kind and unprofessional as if patients were a burden. The nurse was equally unfriendly and unwelcoming.But most importantly and the worst part of my experience was the place was ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. THE UNCLEANLINESS WAS REVOLTING!When I got into the room, I noticed how dirty the room was, and the trolley that the blood pressure cuff was on was filthy. This isn’t even the worst part. When I went to the restroom, it was so dirty. I didn’t even want to go near the toilet. It was one of the filthiest bathrooms I have ever been in. It’s quite obviously does not get clean on a daily basis if at all. A healthcare facility should be pretty clean seeing as though people should feel comfortable to at least use the restroom. I could not wait to leave because of how dirty the place was I immediately went home and washed my shoes and my clothes and my body feeling gross after being there. The only part of it that I could say a positive thing about was the actual doctor that came in to speak to me, was kind and caring.I believe her name was Kim N.

I had a gnarly cut that needed 8 stitches. I was well taken care of. I never thought stitches could be fun, but ya know what, I had a good time. My NP was cool and provided good conversation while I was closed up. 10 out of 10, would get stitched again.

Wait was long, even with a scheduled appointment. Never received email if my strep test was positive or negative. Left a voice Mail for someone to let me know the status of my test- phone call never returned.

Ive been going to AFC Urgent Care Burlington for several years now. They are my go-to when I cant get to my doctors office. They have always gone above and beyond to help me with my medical issue...staff is friendly and knowledgeable. On a very recent visit, they pushed me to get additional testing and even scheduled the test for me. Thank God they did...the results of that test sent me right to the ER. Getting the treatment I needed so quickly probably saved me from having a stroke!

I was greeted & my privacy was respected! I believe I dealt with Vanessa & she was absolutely wonderful. The provider I had seen, Sarah, was also incredible. Both were very accommodating & understanding. Sarah explained everything that was going to be done in detail to help ease my nerves & answered any questions I had without hesitation. I really appreciate the care I received here by both individuals. We need more people like this in the world.

I did NOT feel like he was placating me for 5e weekend. His treatment should definitely help me.* Lab tech was efficient and personable.* Longest wait I had was less than 5 minutes at any point in time.* I could not have asked for a better experience. Every single person was attentive, nice, friendly, and quick.Thank you and stay safe!

Completely useless visit yet again. 45 mins of data gathering by asking questions after the same was filled out on the front desk. Lots of invasive questions and nothing to do with actual issue I came in with. “Insurance makes us do this” is the response. Did not solve my issue and told me nothing new that I already did not know. Basically billing my insurance for this visit. This place is a scam.

Easy, friendly and quick service. Went in for an ear infection. The team was knowledgeable and helpful. Vanessa the nurse practitioner and Dr. John Paul Livingstone were awesome and highly recommend! Glad I came here after Lahey Clinic was a 6 hour wait to be seen 😲😱

I was so happy to find this Urgent Care while traveling. They took their time, made me feel so comfortable and really took my pain away. The doctor was fantastic. They really saved the day.

I was greeted by the two ladies at the front desk with friendly hello and how can we help you approach. Very kind and professional. Took time to listen and assist my walk-in requests. The nurses were very pleasant in their care and listened with great care as well. The service was quick and always professional. I only go to the urgent care Burlington for this reason.

I went in with a difficult splinter which we were not able to remove. Jillian patiently dug it out, and made me feel very comfortable. Tiana (the medical assistant, not sure of the spelling of her name) was extremely kind and patient with me, even though they had to stay late to accomodate me. Thank you.

Went to AFC Urgent Care in Burlington. It was very clean and peaceful. Jean checked me in. She was very pleasant and helpfull. I needed an x-ray and luckily it was Jean! Every step of the way she explained what she was doing and asked about my comfort. She was very knowledgeable and professional. I left with all the information I needed to take care of myself.

Scheduled an appointment for 4:30. When I got there at 4:20, I was brought right in to have my vitals taken. I then sat in the room for an hour and a half just waiting to get my ears checked. They kept telling me I was next in line every 30 minutes. By the time I was finally seen, she looked in my ears for 2 seconds and said that there was clearly an issue but to just keep taking ibuprofen. Terrible service and terrible results.

I have never felt more welcomed at this facility. The medical assistant Sumaiya, was so welcoming and kind. she was so professional & made me feel so much better. This urgent care center is lucky to have professional staff like Sumaiya. I recommend this place for everyone.

Prompt service. Talked me through the details and answered all my questions. Helped me decide on the treatment and tests. Made me feel very comfortable.

Friendly, caring, thorough, and satisfactory treatment. The efficiency of the Doctor made my prescriptions prepared upon arrival at the pharmacy.

They took a good care of my family

I voiced a question about the medication the physician prescribed me based on past experiences with similar meds and with her hand on the door she told me it “would be fine,” did not discuss side effects and then discharged me without giving me a chance to ask other questions. I felt she was doing everything to make the appointment as fast as possible and did not care what my experience would be like on her prescription after I left her office. The receptionist and medical assistant were very kind and helpful though. No complaints about them!

My Saturday morning visit at AFC -- my first experience at any Urgent Care facility -- deserves more stars than 5. From check-in to check-out, every staff member (all masked) with whom I interfaced (admission desk, nurse, doctor) was caring, friendly, good-humored, reassuring, and extremely knowledgeable. The facility itself is attractive and welcoming. I do not hesitate to recommend AFC if you need medical help. Hopefully, you’ll leave feeling MUCH better, as I did.

Good staff. Receptionist was kind and patient with my questions. PA was warm and made me comfortable. I have major depression and anxiety to the extent that Ive had to get my pulse retaken in other places due to the stress of not wanting to be touched by strangers. I love the professionals here! My family members and I have been several times. Very friendly and caring doctors. Smart and focused on the patient. Last night my sinus infection was getting worse fast, a snowstorm was coming today, and I knew my primary care people are generally difficult to get on the phone or to see conveniently. It was so very convenient to drive to a bright friendly ultra clean and efficient office conveniently across from the Burlington Mall next to Barnes & Noble. I arrived at ten minutes of eight in the evening. They close at eight but they were happy to see me even though I was slipping in at the last minute. I love this place! Nice doctor, young women, smart and on top of her game. I paid with Medicare supplement no copay, magic. Im obviously over 65, and the other patient thee was a two year old with his very sweet mom.

I did not have an appointment. My entire stay (waiting included) was ~1hr, which I consider good for a Sunday late afternoon. The entire stuff (reception, nurse and Dr) were very nice and responsive.

This urgent care is the best one I’ve ever been to. The staff are so kind and they genuinely cared about my care and comfort. Debbie is an incredibly kind and professional medical assistant. The doctors were kind too and listened to my concerns. Would definitely recommend!

All the staff was very helpful, friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk with and share my concerns to at this urgent care.It was busy, but the wait was not too long.And, they kept you updated.TVs are found throughout the facility. And, they have bottled waters.It was clean and safe.Parking good.My experience was a positive and very helpful one.

I was really disappointed with my entire experience here at The AFC in Burlington at 90 Middlesex Turnpike. It took forever to be seen and I had a rather large co-pay then after that the NURSE Practitioner was really rude to me and sent me away with no prescriptions and The complete wrong diagnosis. I would give them a 1 out of 5 for a review and as I assume I am not alone. I will never ever go back to them in The future and I will never refer them to anybody I know.

They gladly took my $200 at check-in, and then informed us that they could not prescribe painkillers after knowing that my brother-in-law checked in needing to be prescribed emergency painkillers for his cracked molar.After telling us they couldnt prescribe anything, they told us to just go to the emergency room 1 mile down the street at Lahey Hospital.

I have visited this clinic on numerous occasions and each time has been a positive experience with quick and professional service. I really rely on them because I feel like I can get in quickly versus waiting a day to see my PCP.

They were very compassionate. I showed up late for my scheduled covid test, and they still accepted me and saw me within the hour even with a busy and full waiting room. They also took the time to recheck an unrelated issue I had been seen for elsewhere the evening before, and made recommendations in my best interest. I’m grateful to them!

AFC Urgent Care, Burlington is, by far, the most convenient and efficient way to get treated. The staff is friendly and Knowledgeable. Even if you’re seeing somebody you’ve never seen before, you’re treated as though you’ve been their patient for years. The waiting area is clean, comfortable, and there’s coffee, tea, and water. I can’t say enough positive things about them!I’ve been going here since they opened and never had an issue with timeliness or staff.

I really love AFC for the convenience when we have and urgent care need. We always get friendly and professional service and care. However yesterday we were there for a school physical which was personalpay not insurance covered. I was told that up front. My son also needed his meningitis vaccine booster or second dose. The staff checked to see if they had it in stock and they did so my son received that and his flu shot. As we were leaving they asked me how I wanted to pay for the meningitis vaccine since it was not covered by insurance and I was told the cost was $150. I didn’t have the $150 then on my debit card and had I been told it was &150 out of pocket I would have declined and taken my son to CVS. Now I’m stuck (pun intended) with a $150 vaccine bill that could have been availed had I been told how much it would cost BEFORE the jab. I now have to rearrange my budget for something that could have been avoided.

I went to be seen for a cough and they had no available chest xray to continue my care. I was forced to sign a release saying I declined it. Ill be using a different care option in the future. Thank you.

I went in last week and was attended by Ayralis she did a very good job of walking me through what she was going to do instead of just doing so which made me feel very comfortable. i would definitely recommend her to any one that is shy since she made my experience less painful.

I had a wonderful experience. It was very easy to make an appointment and they had multiple times available. The place is very clean and the staff are very nice. I was taken in on time and did not have to wait long. I would definitely go back for any urgent care needs!

I had x-rays done yesterday, to check for pneumonia. The tech was awesome, & he had a great sense of humor. Quickest visit to Urgent Care that Ive ever had. Maybe, cause it was SuperBowl Sunday! Highly recommend them.

The staff was so nice and professional. I was here from out of town and was in a lot of discomfort. They made me feel very comfortable and guided me to the nearest pharmacy to take care of my prescriptions. I really appreciated how nice they were to me.

This location was able to diagnose my husband, then 2 year old then me with the flu in 3 separate visits. They were so helpful and kind. Did the testing quickly. Brought us back quickly. Discussed the different medication options. Very clean facility with friendly staff!

Although my issue brought me in 15 min before closing on a Sat night, I was greeted with smiles, professionalism, & efficiency. That alone helped me a lot. The facility is very clean, organized, & neat. Having this care ctr saved me from having to go to the already overwhelmed ER. Win, win.Would definitely use this care facility again.

When yournot feeling well you just want someone to help. It always happens for me on weekends. It was so great to stop in on Sunday morning. Everyone had a great approach, a caring approach! They listened , ran tests, diagnosed, and recommended treatment. Thankful to have a team like this available to help me.

Knowledgeable, got right to it, treated and released with a follow up the next day. I walked out of a hospital AMA, showed up here and was treated with dignity and respect, without being prejudiced and biased against for walking out of a hospital. Had my own reasons for leaving but that’s another story.

Had a great experience very professional place the wait time was less than ten minutes. Also Ayralis was so helpful made my daughter and I feel welcomed and comfortable during our whole visit 10 stars if i could highly recommended!

Although I made an “approximated” appointment, I did not receive a text 30 minutes before my appointment as I requested but I had to wait in the lobby for 1 hour and 45 minutes with 10+ other people.After waiting in the lobby, I went to the back to receive my covid test within 10 minutes. The fun continues after waiting 45+ minutes for the doctor on duty to perform an exam.I understand that wait times are higher than normal but please hire enough staff on each shift to properly service your appointments. If you cannot have enough staff on duty to complete the services in a timely manner, do NOT allow that many appointments (or persons in your queue) and walk-ins in one day. I was in a patient room for over 1 hour, 50 of it not being seen by a professional.What ever happened to the patient (or customer) experience?

Every time we are at this location of AFC, the front desk people are easy to work with and friendly. Most of the doctors seem friendly, knowedgeable, and clear (with the exception of one time we were there, where the doctor seemed rude and condescending--but that hasnt been our norm there). We have used it several times for PCR tests, and it has always been efficient and easy to get in and out. We continue to go there when we need to, and I honestly prefer it to a traditional primary care situation.

I TOTALLY dont recommend this place. I jammed my finger in a car door by accident and was advised by my husband to go here. I went in and the front desk person was flustered and incompetent. I filled out their paperwork and was waiting 1 hour an no one called my name. Instead, they took other people who were mostly there for a COVID test. When I inquired about the delay, the second front desk person, this RUDE lady told me that my paperwork was not entered in and she didnt know how long I would have to wait. She was rude and snappy. I left and drove to Lahey Hospitals Acute Care and received better care. Im never going here and will recommend others not to either.

This was my second time being seen at AFC Urgent Care in Burlington. Just like my first visit, the entire staff was on-point. I was checked in quickly and was with the Doctor within 10-15 minutes. The Physicians assistants/nurses are very helpful and they meet with you first, minutes after check in. The rooms are comfortable and clean and have televisions to help pass the small wait time until the doctor can see you. The doctor I have met with is amazing. She is very comforting and thorough. She has helped me get well both times I have seen her. I wish she could be my primary care physician. The post visit staff is very quick and provides your paperwork and any follow up action items if needed.All around a great, seamless experience and a wonderful staff. Highly recommended.

Easy registration. I have been to other AFC but the one in Arlington can never find that I was a patient previously. Burlington had no issues. I was seen quickly. Thorough.

Minimal wait time and overall good experience. I hurt my foot and the x ray determined it was fractured. They gave me a boot for it and let me know the next step! Kind staff as well

I have to say, my family loves AFC Urgent Care Burlington! The team there is wonderful! So welcoming and professional. And my wife and I have 5 children all under 10, and the staff know exactly how to interact with each of them on a friendly and fun level, to get the procedures done in a timely and loving manner! The medical assistant that took care of me (Ayralis) was very respectful. Took care of all of my needs. The front desk clerk who checked me in (Sumaiya) was very sweet and offered me water. Great hospitality!

Very friendly receptionist and nurses and comfortable waiting room. Well organized and you can even make appointments to be seen there. The only complaint I have is that the doors are not ADA compliant. One woman was trying to get in with her elderly mother who was in a wheel chair and was having difficulty opening the doors . I and the receptionist got up to assist her.

Excellent experience. The nurses and doctor were very very friendly and helpful. Office was extremely clean and bright. Didnt have to wait. Received a follow up call to make sure my son was doing ok. Would definitely do back if we have to.

I was concerned I had strep throat and my PCP couldnt squeeze me. I walked in to AFC and they took me immediately, no wait. They were knowledgeable, friendly and the place was very clean. They diagnosed me quickly as having strep and sent me on my way with a prescription. I started feeling dramatically better within twenty four hours. Im grateful for their help, service and for being right around the corner from my house. Ill definitely go back whenever Im sick. Highly recommended.

I went to AFC Urgent care today for a covid test. The service was excellent and the wait time was fast. They were Very nice And explained the procedure before they did anything. Quick and easy to make an appointment online fill out all the forms needed for your visit right online then drive up for your test it was so easy and I got my results back within a few hours!

I advise you to be careful and not to come to this clinic. I arrived at the clinic and was immediately charged $ 199. I arrived with insane pains really crying. The person who treated me, the doctor, gave me instructions to take the medicine twice a day because the condition was really serious. Treatment for two weeks. You do not have to be a doctor to read anywhere that treatment begins to take effect only after about 4 weeks. I told her that and she agreed to give treatment for 4 weeks. When I was released I was told that the prescription would be sent to cvs at my request. When I got home I read the prescription again and wonder and wonder, the prescription is for 4 weeks though but suddenly I see that it is one pill per day and not two. I ended up getting a prescription for two weeks so I would have to come back again in two weeks and pay them another $ 199 per appointment. I called the clinic and asked why the prescription was different and why I was not told anything before I left the clinic when the nurse released me and gave me a folded page with no explanation for the change or at least update me and whoever answered me talked to the doctor and the doctor said it was the prescription I should get. In addition she is also lying. I sent a message on the app and the doctor called me. When I asked what it meant she just said that after we talked she checked on the medicine and realized that one pill is needed a day and not two. Really thank god you checked again, if it was a more stylish condition I could also have died because the doctor does not know what the correct dose for the drug is. About the fact that we did not update me on the change she had nothing to say except that they would call me again. I sent a message on the app and then they just blocked me. This morning I asked for a refund for this joke, for a doctor who is misleading and worse does not even know what dose to give. It was now eight in the evening and they had not yet returned to me. I called the office again now and the clerk just told me I had no chance of getting a refund. I will probably ask the bank to defer the charge. I advise you not to come to this place. Unfortunately I was in excruciating pain and had no leisure to read reviews otherwise I would have known not to get there.Its been 5 days. No prescription has been send and even though I called every day and tried to get the manager, sending her emails, calling her office, nothing.Displays see you as an ATM

Everyone was very nice all around. Being someone who is generally nervous around medical situations they handled it very well and allowed me to take things at my own pace.

I booked my appointment at 430pm for 605. Had a positive covid test from home and when I arrived in the parking lot At 5:45 PM,I parked and dialed their number 10 times over 10 minutes. No answer all 10 times.. As I watched 3 other cars park and enter the building I decided to enter myself I was masked along with my 2 children ages 8 and 6 who I also masked. I informed the man at the desk that I had a 6:05 appointment he confirmed all my paperwork was filled out I told him that I had done an at home covid test and it was positive and I had tried to call and there was no answer. He proceeded to say would you wait in your car which I happily agreed and went back to the car as I sat there over the next hour watching several cars come in park and leave With no contact from AFC urgent care I went Back into the Building to inquire why I hadnt been seen.. He said his monitor got turned around and forgot I was there and that I would be next on the list. Went back to my car for another 30 minutes watching more people com and go and was still not seen went back in and he told me that they had different doctors for different things and that they would be there as soon as possible. Went back to my car for another 30 minute Went back in and had a nurse tell me they only had One doctor and that I would be next on the list with only 1 person left at this point. After 2 hours of sitting there with 2 children all 3 of us covid positive in a car being ignored they asked me to leave. And I was never seen I have never been more disrespected and appalled in my entire life. Then to further the situation they lied and tried to say I never had an appointment which of course I had the confirmation sent to my phone. But were reporting this to every level of management and figured everybody else should know how they operate as well.

Incredible experience with Dr. Orio. She was attentive, informative, and the only reason I was able to get a same day appointment at a popular orthopedic clinic. Dr. Orio is an asset to your organization, and she deserves to be recognized for the care she provided; it exceeded my wildest expectations, and certainly surpassed any (ill-conceived) expectations I had walking into your facility!

When I came in I had shortness of breath, cough, and a low oxygen level. Tried to sign in, but the lady at the front refused to help me until I gave her my credit card. I could barely speak and she refused to sign me in until I gave her my card and consent to charge my card for one year. It’s illegal in Massachusetts to refuse care until you get consent to charge a credit card. This lady had no bedside manner and delayed my care until I gave her my card and gave the company consent to charge my credit card for a year. I don’t mind showing the ability to pay, but refusing care and pressuring me to give the company blank consent to charge my card without my knowledge is disgusting. When I asked her about the policy she was said she’s just doing her job and couldn’t furnish any further information on what I was giving the company consent to charge. She acted in this manner even though I furnished my active duty military ID which has my insurance and is fully covered here. I will be contacting my congressional representatives to put an end to these predatory and illegal practices Urgent Care is imposing on active duty military requesting medical care.

Truly amazing. Best experience I have ever had in any medical facility. Staff was friendly, clean environment, nurses and doctors were great! In and out in a quick and timely fashion. They even called me the next day to see how I was doing! I would highly recommend.

My wife and I arrived for a Covid testing 30 minutes early and immediately checked in, expecting to wait the 30 minutes until our appointment. Almost immediately we were called back to get our information and they told us( Toni?) would be out to conduct the test. Toni arrived in a few minutes and clearly explained what she was going to do and proceeded to swab my nose( painless). She then explained that I would receive an e-mail within two hours with the results if negative, or called by the doctor if positive. These people really know how to take care of their customers. I couldn’t be more positive with my experience and highly recommend this urgent care company. Bob H

Everything about my visit to AFC Burlington was exceptional. The customer service was great, the medical staff awesome and within 30 minutes I had a diagnosis and a treatment plan. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

This location was quick and easy under the most stressful circumstance. The staff were friendly, courteous, and kind. They answered all of my questions, were gentle with my son when testing for Covid and treated him so well. The process for testing was thorough and efficient. Im not from MA, here visiting family and wanted to make sure we were being safe during pandemic after potential exposure. This was such a positive experience despite the scary circumstances that led us here. Strong recommend!

I would recommend everyone I know to go here! Jess at the front desk was extremely pleasant and helpful, they took me right away. I felt as if they were thorough with their exam and seemed very knowledgeable. All of the staff was professional, but very courteous and friendly. I didn’t have to wait a long time to be seen and was in and out in no time.

My husband and I fly into the Boston area about once every 6 weeks. We both highly recommend AFC Urgent Care Burlington. We have received our Covid tests here 3 times. The staff is so professional, caring, courteous and takes every necessary precaution to keep all safe. We never have waited more than 10 minutes and our results are emailed to us within 2 hours! Great experience getting a rapid Covid test here! Made an appointment online on a Sunday for the following Tuesday. Showed up at the time of the appointment and got tested right away from my car. Got the results 2 hours later. Staff were friendly and efficient

On Sunday, 02/26/2023 I slipped on a patch of ice & while breaking my fall badly dislocated the ring finger on my left hand. It was pretty bad & began swelling immediately. My wedding ring had to be removed, but it was impossible. First went to Waltham Urgent Care & was treated by PA Elizabeth Kirsten, who was AMAZING. So competent & kind. But their ring cutter was sufficient enough to cut through my ring for further treatment. She was able to take XRays & determined the dislocation. I also received lots of help from an assistant there, McKenna Hunt….great kid. Pa Kirsten made phone calls & learned that Burlington Urgent Care had an upgraded ring cutter. I went there & was immediately seen my PA Raksa Son. She was very equally AMAZING in every way. She was able to get my ring off, give shots to my finger to numb it & then reduce the dislocation, followed by further XRay & splinting. She & Kirstein were fantastic! Thank you Urgent Care. I will be seeing an Orthopedic this week to follow up. If these are the kinds of professionals you have representing your great service, you should feel very proud. Very efficient place for a Covid test. I was exposed to the virus a few days before testing and was concerned because I had symptoms. Dr. Nguyen and tester Alex Degrandis were both excellent, professional, and kind. I would refer AFC Burlington to any friends seeking an accurate Covid test.

The two front office employees were swamped with people either sick or looking to get COVID tested but so nice and really listened and wanted to make sure all the patients were going to get tested for anything they may have, not just COVID but the flu or strep as well. They managed listening, coordinating, safety and processing paperwork so well for how busy they were, and both employees you could tell worked well together helping each other or making suggestions. They were good also distancing or isolating potential contagious people, and having some go back out in their car to wait to be tested (best option!). The NP or PA was also very sweet and efficient.

Save yourself time and money! This place is a joke!The hospital is right up the street. It should be 0 stars.

Despite how incredibly busy they were, the staff was efficient and courteous while performing the covid test. Our medical person, Logan, could be seen running around trying to make sure he didnt make folks wait. He also was competent and thorough with his swab which I appreciate. The process is simple too. Make an appointment online, call when you arrive. You have a short telehealth visit and then someone comes right to your car to check your vitals and perform the swab. Would definitely recommend.

The front staff is a nightmare. I was there on Saturday morning. Shes very rude by not greeting,not smiling,and not looking in the eyes. All she did was mumblingIll be right with you! Not with the nice tone.I had to be like Sorry?? And again,she didnt look at me AT ALL Ill be right with you. I felt disrespected and neglected.Then it was like in the dead air for over 10mins.If she smiled,greeted,and politely told me that,it would have just taken less than 10seconds. And it wouldve made me feel a lot better!They should train her and she should know what great customer service is like.

I was able call ahead and get tested for COVID on the spot. They handled state contact and making available the new antiviral within 12 hours I was on the med and beginning to feel better. I highly recommend them, I have used them before and will use them again.

I told the doctor my son was here earlier in the week and tested positive for strep. I was tested for flu and COVID. Not strep. Results came back negative for both. I am really upset I did not get tested for strep and have been suffering ever since. I am stealing my sons amoxicillin and starting to feel better. But he is running out. I made an appointment for 1245pm and was not “seen” until 145pm and sat in the room for 20min. Didn’t leave until 230. 2 hours wasted for nothing!!! I’m pretty passed off still because my cough is out of control and my whole body hurts.

I was very pleased by the services I received today. I was nicely greeted as soon as I came thru the door and given paperwork and instructions on the check-in process. After a few minutes, I was led into an examining room where my symptoms were discussed and the next steps were explained to me. After having a few tests to rule out anything life threatening , I was examined by the doctor. We went over my symptoms and she explained to me the reasons for the issues I was having and gave me info on what I needed to do to feel better. She suggested I follow up with my primary care doctor and that they would be contacting me with my test results and will also send a copy to my doctor. This experience was so much better than sitting in the ER. Everyone I met was professional, caring and very capable of helping me with my issues. I highly recommend this Urgent Care location.

Luckily there wasnt much queue on Jan 27th 9am. Had to go for an urgent walk in since I cut my finger bad. The medical assistant and FMP, Tiana were very prompt and got me stiched up pretty quickly. Have to go back in 10days, so will see how the stitch allows healing and get it removed. Now it is 14days and I went back and got stitches removed (splint was given to keep finger straight) because they were not done properly (was on one side of cut wound: may be ripped through the weak skin on one side). So basically it is just healing on its own and taking a while. They are nice to check on you weekly, and prompt but should ensure stitches are done better.

I was very happy with my care. It is nice to know I can go to a walk-in, treated with respect, and very professional staff. I live down the street, needed to be seen, its nice to go there than the er in a hospital.

Medical Assistant Alex is the man! He was so patient with my nine-year-old cousin. She can be a bit squeamish in medical environments, but when Alex called the blood pressure machine a Big Muscle Test she giggled and very much enjoyed the process from that point onward. Be it administrative or medically-focused, Alexs future is bright. He, along with Alise at the front desk and PA John Paul, made for a wonderful visit for my cousin.

I had been fighting a miserable cough. My home is Minnesota and I was uncertain where I could go especially when anticipating flying home end of the week.I scheduled my appointment online, completed all the paperwork online. Easy and so convenient. When arriving for my appointment the front desk staff was efficient, courteous, friendly. The nurse gathered all my history and Dr Orio examined me and had a plan. She talked through her recommendations and then sent them to me via pMD.Given how awful I felt, I could not have gotten better care even if I was seeing my primary care physician.

The AFC Urgent Care were organized, thorough and attentive to all my needs in a timely manner. I called them initially when I was unsure of how to proceed and they explained the recommended course of action. Im on the mend now thankfully!

I came here today and was told places like this were the best. Im usually a very nervous person when it comes to doctors offices, hospitals, etc. I have 0 bad things to say. Everything was clean, I was in and VERY quickly and everyone was exceptionally nice from the receptionist, to the nurse & doctor who both found my nervous humor amusing. The doctor (I wish I could remember her name) was very thorough in my diagnostic and made me feel VERY comfortable. Awesome place :)!

Holy wow, I dont even know where to start.Overall: If you want to schedule an appointment for a covid test and still want to wait hours, this is your place!The front desk person was very nice and everyone so far has been pleasent. HOWEVER, whoever is in charge of staffing/making sure staffing is adaquate frankly needs to be fired. There is not enough help for the people who work here and the staff here is not setup for success in terms of actually getting through their appointments.Whether is a bottom line financials reason or just being greedy, I dont care, premium prices are charged because Merika, semi on time appointments isnt an unrealistic expectation.When you schedule a covid test, there should be some expectation of delay, but 2 hours AFTER my scheduled appointment for a test is unreasonable.My insurance paid for this, and I feel like my insurance got robbedQuick edit to avoid the whole its covid we are all short staffedCrazy idea, pay people money and dont take on scheduled appointments if you cant cope

It wasn’t even what I came in for but they just kept drilling in that we had to fix my cough, I get that I had the cough going for a while but I think equal time should at least be given to the issue I came In for.

I was here a few days ago and while the health care that I received was satisfactory, the receptionist at the front desk was not at all pleasant. I was made to feel like I was bothering her and she was quite annoyed by my simple questions. The room that I was put it was filthy. There was dirt, sticks and a dead fly on the floor. The air purifier was visibly clogged with lint. I was shocked. My son went in a day later (we were all in for testing)and he was in the same filthy room. Needless to say if I am need of urgent car, I will not return. I wanted to contact corporate but there was no way of doing this, and I certainly was not going to contact the rrceptionist.

Coming to a doctors office is always stressful especially when injured. Ayralis was the most caring and considerate person I met and dealt with, it made the experience the best! Only coming here now!

I was recently in need of medical care and visited the AFC Urgent Care in Burlington. The staff was warm and welcoming upon my arrival. Jess helped me to fill out the needed paperwork correctly and was very professional while providing me the medical care I required. The facility was also spotless from the waiting room to the examination room. I would recommend this AFC urgent care to friends and family alike.

Despite being extremely busy, managed to be patient and explain the process well. May not seem like much, but with the holidays and spike in Covid cases its a lot better than other urgent facilities. They are still accepting walk-ins when most are turning away due to staffing issues.

Visited the Burlington site for a covid test & was so impressed with the staff. Especially the nurse who administered the test (I wish I got her name!). She was so kind & had such a joyful positive attitude. Made what can be an unpleasant experience so easy.

Went online and scheduled an appointment for 4pm. We arrived 15 mins early as per their instructions. After an hour of waiting in the waiting room I asked the girl at the desk if it would be much longer. She said we were next.(As we were waiting people that were “walk in’s” were being told that the wait time was 2 hours )So after hour and 15 mins in the waiting area we were finally called in and out in a room where we waited another hour before someone came in to see us. The nurse or RN was very nice !! She spent 3 mins looking at my son and sent in a prescription.Not once did we get an apology for the wait !So what’s the point of having an appointment??

The service here is just excellent! Ayralis was so sweet, she took care of my every need and she’s just so friendly! Definitely would come back anytime I’m in need of help.

AFC Burlington was terrific. I went in for what I thought was a common cold. My daughters pushed for a Covid test. My wait time was very small, which was great because I only wanted to go to bed. My test was possitive. AFC was very through and called me when my results came in. They explained what I needed to do very carefully since I am immuno compromised and a cancer patient. I would recommend them.

Be ware for going to take a covid test. We had scheduled an appointment in advance and specifically specified to use the option to have the test done via insurance since I had fever and symptoms. The visit itself was fine, I stayed in the car and they came and took my temperate and then did the swab for the tests. Imagine my surprise when the bill came for $700 since they labeled it as an office visit with a lot of other line items which only a small portion was for the actual tests covered.To me this is a fraudulent business. The lady at the billing department hang up on me when I tried to get the details of how this was billed and what was included.Stay away would be my advice.

The staff at this facility are extremely polite with positive vibes, attentive and professional. Im very glad and thankful to have received my care from AFC Urgent Care in Burlington, Ma.

Stopped by for a flu shot over the weekend. The space was clean and bright and inviting - I helped myself to a coffee from the coffee bar in the few minutes I waited. Staff were all very friendly. Painlessly in and out in minutes.
