I arrived on time to my appointment.Front desk are little rude. I have to pay credit card fee top of my co- pay.The like to ask a lot of extra test. Blood etc….I wait 2 hours to see the Doctor.I’m sure He is amazing doctor but the can do much better with kindness and time management.Thank you

The best doctor ever. I have known him for 25 years, he delivered 3 of my children .Wouldn’t trade him for anyone else. He is always happy to see his patients, always friendly and a good listener. Hope my review helps for anyone who is looking for new OB/GYN.

I just delivered my third baby with Dr. Gregory Shifrin and I am so happy with my experience. I delivered my first two children with him and traveled an hour to my appointments to see him again for my third. I am so grateful for his accommodating and attentive staff. Dr. Shifrin is so caring and made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire process. His bedside manner and attention to care is second to none. The best ever! I switched from my last provider to Dr. Shifrin because he is honestly THE BEST!!! The clinic is super clean, all the staff is amazing & there’s literally little to no wait time! My annuals are a breeze and they make you feel soo comfortable!

This place doesnt even deserve one star. The blonde haired girl at the front desk was extremely rude to me. I came in for a yearly exam that is fully covered by my insurance. Even called them and they tried to get transferred to her and she completely ignored the call. I felt like she was racial profiling me, and refusing me service. Then when I asked her to please contact my insurance because these are the details theyre telling me she says this is not her job. So I dont actually know what her job is at this point. Completely unprofessional and rude. The office is cramped and dirty. Bathroom unkept. The worst experience Ive had. I wouldnt recommend anyone to go here if you are not Russian.

Amazing doctor and great office! I have been a patient of Dr. Shifrin for many years and only had a great experience being his patient. He delivered two of my children and is providing great regular care. What sets him apart is not just his profound knowledge, but also his ability to create a comforting environment.Always makes you feel at ease and quickly responds to any questions or concerns.

Excellent care and service! Dr. Shifrin followed up pre and post surgery to make sure everything went well. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly.

My wife is a patient of Dr. Shifrin for over twenty years. We had all of our three kids delivered by Dr. Shifrin. Every pregnancy was different and the doctor was always there for us. He is an amazing doctor who is extremely knowledgeable and caring. My wife recommended the services of Dr. Shifrin to many of her friends, who in turn had a very positive experience.

I would never go back to this doctor. He is all about money. For a regular visit they charged my plan $2500 and took $60 from me as co-pay. This is disgrace.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Shifrin OBGYN for many years. The office staff is always friendly. Dr. Shifrin is very knowledgeable and willing to help to resolve any issues/ concerns I ever have. They take blood for testing on premises which is convenient. The billing department makes sure that my insurance covers my visits. I had some procedures done at their in office surgical facility and had a great experience with that too. Overall I am very satisfied with this office and would recommend it to all my friends

Dr. Shifrin’s has been my doctor for 20 years, he has taken such great care of me through out these years. He has delivered two of my beautiful children. His experience, professionalism, tender care and kindness have no limits. I have been absolutely lucky to have him as my doctor. He is the doctor that literally holds your hand while you are getting an epidural and makes sure you are supported emotionally every step of the way. Words cannot describe the gratitude I feel towards Dr Shifrin and his staff. I always feel cared for and respected.

The best gynecological office in the whole city.I used to go to Dr.Shifrin when I lived in Brooklyn, NY and even after I moved to NJ I still choose him, despite long drive.Office stuff is very welcoming and well trained. All the doctors in the office are excellent. Highly recommend him to all my friends and family.

Dr. Shifrin has been my physician for over 20 years. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is wonderful! Always puts me at ease and answers my questions. A brilliant physician and a surgeon. During delivery of my baby, he made the entire birth experience exactly what I was hoping it would be. I would definitely recommend Dr. Shifrin!

Besides one of the sonographers, this office is incompetent. They are money hungry. They do not provide patients with their lab results in a timely manner or take the time to speak to them about it. I am high risk and had to ask several times for my lab results. The girl at the front desk kept on giving me incomplete documents. I had to finally come in person and request my lab results so I could move on with my care. When I got there, the same girl at the desk gave me incorrect results. Like lady, can you read?!! I had to insist that she find the results, my child’s life depended on it. After much hassle I received them. But to be honest, i question the legitimacy because why did it take so long for you to get me my lab results. I would never return there. Be careful if you decide to go with them. Document everything!!! All interactions. It may be life saving in the long run.

Dr. Shifrin is a great, and very knowledgeable doctor. Emilia Mulaeva is very caring, attentive, professional. Their office staff is simply the best, positive and kind!!

I have been seeking a OB/GYN and was referred to Dr. Shifting and boy was I disappointed. I wouldnt recommend anyone to visit this Dr. for any services. I simply went in for gynecological exam as a routine check up. The Dr. didnt even take 5 minutes. He was rushing to head home. Worst part is that he is not even in Network but I believed he was a good choice because of the referral. I guess you have to pay to learn.

The WORST GYN EVER !!!!! I did my entire pregnancy here since no one else wanted to take me being so far along. 1. They will not send you any of your medical reports. You have to call & harass them every day for them to send it to you. 2. I am a colored woman. This is predominantly white/Russian office. They ONLY help and speak with Russian patients. They tell them everything happening. Every time I ask questions they brush me off like I’m not important. I actually personally knew the sonographer at the time, and if it wasn’t for her I would have no idea what’s going on inside my belly. 3. There is a labcorp down the block from their office. Tell me how one day they lost my blood ?!?!?! They took my blood and I kept calling asking for my results. They’re like we can’t find it it’s inconclusive. I was like HOW?! They’re like oh you need to come in and get your blood drawn again. WHAT?! That was the FIRST AND ONLY TIME I met with THE Gregory Shiffrin, and he proceeded to lie to my face and tell me everything is okay. I DEMANDED my medical records and when I looked it over MYSELF I saw that they lost my reports, lab corp kept contacting them for my blood but they never responded and everything was zero, zero, zero because there was nothing to report. So if I didn’t call and follow up, this would never have been solved. Btw, this test was the second part of the NIPT test. With that being said the GYN Gregory Shiffrin was never my doctor. I only saw Emilya whom is only a Family Nurse Practitioner. 4. They constantly kept prescribing me antibiotics! Obv they make money with each prescription and they’re money hungry. My last month before giving birth, they gave me antibiotics for 2 weeks. They said it’s so that I don’t get any problems before birth. Once I went to the hospital and told them I was on antibiotics for two weeks prior, they were like what why?!?! They were so confused! They said we could have treated you here. You didn’t need that. So I didn’t need all the extra antibiotics they constantly kept giving me. 5. One antibiotics they gave me was prescribed at 1,000 mg dosage. My gut told me something was off. I did research and not only was this antibiotic not safe for pregnancy but when I called the office to curse them out Emiliya told her receptionists to tell me, “it’s not the wrong medication but it’s the wrong dosage. I would never give something so high”. She then CHANGED my antibiotic to a pregnancy safe drug and lowered the dosage to 500mg. If I didn’t listen to my gut what would have happened to my baby?!?! SMH. 6. Towards the ending of my pregnancy, they were doing NSTs on me. I kept having consistent contractions. Every appointment they continued to tell me oh you’re soo dehydrated that’s why. These are all false contractions. When I went into the hospital they told me I was dilated with consistent contractions and want to monitor me. 7. I had to BEG Emiliya to do cervix checks on me after week 36 to see if I was dilated /what’s going on. She kept saying she didn’t want to but if it will make me feel better she will. I said YES. PLEASE. When she checked me at 37 weeks she said I was 1cm but not DILATED. She said my cervix was NOT open. When I went to the hospital (38 Wks)they told me I’m dilated and I’m 1cm. I was like oh so I’m still closed that’s what Emilya said. They were like WHAT? How does that even make sense? If you’re 1cm that means you’re cervix is open. You lost your mucus plug. You’re dilated. They were so confused why Gregory Shiffren’s office said so much stupid things. The only reason I trusted the hospital I gave birth at (Coney Island) was because they hated Gregory Shiffrin and his office as much as I did. 8. Lastly, they referred me to the hospital when it was time for me to give birth. After I gave birth I wanted nothing to do with them. They continued to call me 3-5x a day every day harassing me about my appointments , called my emergency contact. I blocked their office number and they called me through the receptionists personal cell phones. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS OFFICE EVER!!

I have been going to Dr.Shifrin office for more than 27 years and I am very grateful everything he has done for me. He is very knowledgeable in his field and has been working for over 25 years. I used to live in Calarado and if I had any issues I would come all the way to Brooklyn to see Dr.Shifrin. All the staff workers are very friendly and always willing to help.

Had a distressing experience at this clinic recently with Dr Gregory Shifrin. I visited for an annual OBGYN check and was informed of cysts on my ovaries. The doctor recommended surgery, but unfortunately, the outcome was not what I expected. The surgeon performed a procedure, but it didnt address the cyst.To make matters worse, in the follow-up, a sonogram revealed that the same cyst was still present in my ovary. My attempts to communicate with the surgeon were met with unprofessional and rude behavior, as they disconnected calls and failed to provide an explanation for the procedures outcome.Overall, I had a frustrating and disappointing experience with this practice. The doctor didn’t even want to discuss the situation after the surgery. I called my insurance and didnt authorize the payment. He is very underestimated. I strongly advised others to consider their well-being and safety before choosing this clinic for their medical needs.

Ive been seeing Dr. Gregory for three years now, and my experience has been good so far. The visit is quick, you dont have to wait a long time to be seen, and all the staff is very lovely.

I’ve been going here for 4 years and they have been there for me through heartbreak, worry, and celebration! I trust them with my life and my daughter’s life. I am so grateful for their medicine and love. never had a problem with anyone in this office.

Poor management and team. I had called to make my appointment and asked the receptionist if my insurance was ‘in-network’ and she said yes. I asked if I had any copays for the visit and she said she would communicate this to the billing manager and call me back. When they called to confirm my appointment, I followed up on the copay and they mentioned they would call me back and never did. I show up to my appointment thinking I have my regular $30 dollar copay for specialist and they proceed to tell me I have to pay $200. Now, if they had communicated that to me earlier, I would have postponed my appointment and contacted my insurance. The billing manager proceeded to ask me ‘why am I complaining, I would have to pay this anyways.’ Also, proceeded to tell me I paid this amount in my last visit and why am I making this a problem now. She did not listen to me, she cut me off, belittled my point. It is true, i have paid this amount previously. However, my cancellation is due poor management and lack of acknowledgement from the team.

THE WORST CARE TEAM IVE EVER SEEN! Let me start by saying that I am in pain and require a surgery, this is why Ive made an appointment to this horrible office. Ive waited 2 weeks to see the doctor to discuss and schedule a surgery (I specified it over the phone when I made an appointment). Drove across the city, looked for parking, came 10 minutes early as a first time patient should. When I came in and stood by the front desk there were 3 ladies that were doing their things (one was doing something on computer, another one standing over her and another one was writing somethin), none of them even acknowledged my presence or said a word, I was just standing there looking at them. Then another lady cam out and asked me if I signed in, I said not yet, and signed my name on the list. She asked me for my name, I gave her my name and put my ID and insurance card on the counter stating that I am seeing this doctor for the first time. She looked in the computer and said that doctor left 20 minutes ago, I was shocked and asked if he is coming back, she said that he needed to urgently leave and not coming back today. I asked her why didnt anyone call me and asked me to cancel or reschedule if they knew that doctor left 30 minutes before my appointment, she said that they didnt have time to call patients. I pointed out that its 4 of them at the front desk and this is a horrible customer service. She offered me to be seen by an assistant. I said NO, NO, NO. This office staff and this doctor dont care about your pain, your health or your time. When I told this story to my mom and mentioned who the doctor is and where hes located, she said that she went to this doctor once a few years ago and it is was her first and last time there. She was waiting in the lobby for an hour and a half, then the assistant took her to the room and said to get undressed and put a paper robe on, and left. 40 minutes later, my mom was still waiting for the doctor cold in a paper robe. She called the front desk and asked them if doctor will see her, they asked if she has an appointment, she said that shes been waiting in the room for 40 minutes, they said that doctor is in a basement doing something. My mom got furious that no one came in to tell her that and to apologize for the long wait being extremely uncomfortable. She got dressed and left. Bottom line: NETHER THE DOCTOR OR HIS TEAM CARE ABOUT YOU! STAY AWAY FROM THEM! THEY DONT DESERVE YOUR BUSINESS!

Doctor does not keep you updated or informed. You have to call to check up on your own information. Sometimes if there is a problem they won’t even say anything. I’ve also seen them skip me a person of color and take in people who came way later but speak Russian. They say these allegations are false but actions speak louder than words.

Very unprofessional staff!! Not to mention the “medical assistant” stuck me in the wrong vein twice! Then said “oh!, let me get the other lady because she’s better than me 😭🤣 I don’t know why I was so calm and went back after that. My next visit which was my last they had two insurance bills for me one was $290 and the other $2000+. How is that even right!? $300 on my visits for what exactly? I do have insurance from my state job so that’s ridiculous. There has been so much that happened the four times I went there I wouldn’t recommend this place to an animal. Those bills won’t rest though 🤭

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible experience with this office. Once my girlfriend found out she was pregnant they took over a week to follow up. Never go here would not recommend ever. They also charged her $100 illegally for an ultrasound and could not provide any proof that a deductible was due. They refused to refund the money or show proof. Disgusting and despicable. Shame.

I did have the procedure with Dr Shifrin for the first time because my doctor was on vacation. Just wanna express my gratitude to the doctor and medical staff. Everybody treat you with respect and care.I definitely recommend this place. This doctor is the rudest healthcare professional I have ever seen. Bad bedside manner and uncaring behavior. He does not listen to his patients concerns nor tries to help with legitimate concerns. Find a better doctor to take care of you.

I am just now months later able to compose myself to write this review. This doctor broke unfortunate news to me about my pregnancy over the phone and rudely cut me off in the middle of my questions to say I AM YOUR DOCTOR, as if that title automatically made everything make sense to me. He, his staff, and my sonograms indicated I was very early in my pregnancy during my first visit...during this phone call, after a couple more visits, he stated that I was further along and the sonos didnt match how far along I was. My pregnancy was unfortunately short-lived, however he was obviously wrong in his statements that he was so insistent on. How can I suddenly be further along in a pregnancy than my past 3 visits indicated? I tried to tell him this, but he took it as me being argumentative. In fact, if he cared enough to get his facts straight, then he also would have cared enough to consider my medical record or ask me relevant medical questions and suggest putting me on supplements that could have potentially saved my pregnancy. Upon doing my research I discovered that His number 1 lab value indicator of my miscarriage was something a lot of women with my condition need supplemented during pregnancy. After his call I canceled my followup appt with him and went on to find an amazing doc who within the 1st visit addressed things Shifrin never even bothered to. I rarely leave negative reviews but if you want a doctor who actually cares about you (and perhaps your baby), keep searching.

Have been going to this doctor for a long time and today I had enough. His secretary is unprofessional. She kept putting me on hold and hanging up the phone on me. I kept asking for her name and manager but she refused to give me her name and said manager that her manager is not there today.Finally Dr Shifrin answers the phone and yells at me after I asked him how he allows his staff to mistreat loyal patients like that? His exact words while screaming at me where I am the CZAR of this place and I run it however I want. What a poor excuse for a medical professional. All I wanted was to get answers. Do not go to this doctor...

Office staff for the most part is very polite Which is why they got one star, but Dr Schiffrin and manager Lena of the office showed no compassion and understanding to my situation. I feel like they pick n choose who they give quality care to. Everything is rushed and it’s all about putting money in their pockets. Doctor doesn’t stick around long enough for u to ask questions and dismiss u before u get clarity on your situation. He scheduled me for surgery on the Very first visit I saw him n when I questioned it and say I need second opinion before I move forward he became annoyed like I was wasting his time. Last conversation I had with both manager n doctor left tears in my eyes. Doctor was very insensitive during a phone conversation n ended the conversation by telling me he has no more time for and that he has patients to see n then hung up on me. I couldn’t believe it. I had my mouth wide open after I heard the line go dead. That was So unprofessional n disgusting coming from a doctor. They both spoke down to me and I felt like they could care less what happened to me. I’m now left with a serious issue that I have to go seek help elsewhere for. Thanks for nothing doctor. I’m glad u showed your true colors before my procedure. God is in control. It probably would have end up very badly. I strongly and sincerely suggest Patients to look elsewhere for their care.

Hello. Everyone I like to share my experience with the doctor visit it was not so great at all. He was yelling at patient who didnt do nothing wrong,walks around talks like he is the boss and doesnt show responsibility or respect or cares about his patients. I suggested DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. He will not care about you or be asking about you,he is rude,disregard,disrespectful 😤 in so many ways. Theres a plenty of other doctors out there in Brooklyn. Much better then this one. So please ladies and gentlemen do not go to this office ever again!!! It not worth it. Never talks to patients in private he has to talk about patients business outside so people and staff can hear this every single time!!! Dr Yelena Trakhtenberg is the best! She is so empathic kind and very attentive to her patients needs and health. I highly recommend this Gyn Doctor .

Avoid if you have a private insurance. They bill you with ridiculous amount of money for procedures they didnt perform and I didnt request. You will end up paying double amount of what you would pay in other ob-gyn offices. I regret going to that office. Such a scam. Ridiculous.

Dr. Gregory Shifrin is a miracle worker. I have been going to him for years, and cannot imagine trusting my body to anybody else. When I found out that I needed surgery, I notably freaked out. However, he was quick to reassure me. Not only did he show me the compassion and empathy I needed at the time, but he also did a miraculous job! With his state of the art equipment straight in his office, I did not even have to go to a hospital and had the opportunity to go home that same day! The environment is completely sterile. The personnel are not only personable but also highly professional. The anesthesia was timed ideally, and I did not exhibit any side effects (unlike during other surgeries with other doctors). I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone because I believe that by choosing this doctor, you are choosing a good outcome.

Im editing my old review. You can see the original below. Last week I needed an emergency appointment. Front desk personnel politely helped me and found the spot for my appointment. In the office I met with Emiliya Mullayeva, MS. FNP-BC. She is very attentive, careful (and caring), knowledgeable and professional. Honestly, for some time I havent meet such a nice , professional and thoughtful medical medical staff.My old review:Ive been a patient of Dr. Shifrins office for more than 6 years (for 12 years in 2020). And, I like this office very much. It is very easy to schedule an appointment. I like office environment and cleanliness. Everybody there is very patient, professional and nice. The staff is very friendly and courteous. For all the time I went in that office there were only two times when I spent more than 20-30 minutes waiting for my doctor. Usually, I dont spend any extra time waiting in the waiting room or in an exam room. Doctors spend a good amount of time with client, listen and answer the questions. I think all 3 doctors are very professional.Im expecting a baby. So, its a new experience for me. So far I like everything is done in the office and by my doctor Dmitry Goncharov. So, will see the results. But, as I said earlier I have nothing to complain about. I really recommend this office and all 3 doctors in this office!

I am a new patient of Dr. Shifrin and came to him on a whim after my previous OBGYN retired. I am so happy I found him. Its not easy to deal with me as a patient as I have anxiety and question and freak out about everything. He was able to calm my nerves even when delivering shocking news that I needed surgery. Surgical team is very friendly and warm. I have already recommended to several friends.

Gynecologist Emilia Mulaeva is a very attentive and caring doctor. She spends a lot of time with the patient. She will ask questions regarding your health, as well as answer questions from the patient. Highly recommend!

The office staff is phenomenal, minimal wait time, efficient care provision. Routine visits were detailed and plan of care was delivered in a professional, clean environment while each step of the way through my multiple surgical procedures, pre-surgical and post-surgical care was a well the procedures themselves were explained thoroughly, I knew exactly what to expect, what to report and experienced no complications during and after the attentive care I received while under the care of Dr. Shifrin. I was never rushed, although I had many questions and concerns both the Dr and staff were courteous, attentive and patient with me, thereby relieving my concerns.My family member has been with him for 20+years and Im so glad I am proud to say that under the care of Dr. Shifrin my gynecological knowledge and health status has improved. Gregory Shifrin is the most dedicated doctor that has ever taken care of me. He is supportive, has incredible knowledge and takes the time to explain everything. My last surgery was done on a Friday prior to a long weekend. He came to the hospital on the Sunday to check on his patients....this was mind blowing...I have never heard of another doctor showing up on a weekend, let alone a Sunday of a long weekend. As for having to wait, who cares? He takes time with every patient, and the wait is irrelevant when you are under such wonderful care. So efficient and helpful...I will only say that I was truly blessed to find a wonderful caring man like Dr. Gregory Shifrin.

Horrible experience! My aunt paid out of pocket for a procedure with him that had 99% success rate a couple months later the surgery had not benefited her like the good doctor promised. When she told him this he told the nurse give her a number to an urologist and left the office. The 99% success rate its non-existent who doesnt take insurance providers anyways. He makes sure to state how much you need to pay out of pocket for procedure that will not benefit you at all!

He always advises me with my best interest at heart. His medical expertise is far beyond a traditional medical approach. His care and treatment always surpass my expectations. I would not hesitate to recommend him to any of my family or friends. Also, having an ultrasound and labs done in the same office is a big plus...

Have been going to this doctor for 11 years. He is like family to me now, and his staff too. I am now pregnant, and I couldnt be happier that he will be delivering my baby. Yes, he is a bit unconventional in his ways. If you are an uptight person, he is not for you. If you think, pap smear should take 30 min (it shouldnt), he is not for you either. Point is I read negative reviews and laughed because people do not get that he is just straight forward and upfront. Love the guy.

I have been Dr. Shifrin’s patient for over 10 years. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, thorough and responsive. I would consider myself a demanding patient and have no patience for anything but excellent service and thorough and helpful answers to my questions. In that regard, Dr. Shifrin never disappoints. I have always been impressed with him and have never met another doctor that I liked better than Dr. Shifrin. My only true regret is that he does not have an office in Manhattan! In addition, he is always responsive and returns my calls promptly. I never have an issue with getting an appointment promptly and have barely ever waited to see him. I cannot imagine a better doctor.

I have been Dr. Shifrins patient since I was 19 a total of 14 yrs and three months ago he has delivered my first child. My experience as always has been and Im sure will always be amazing with this doctor. I never waited long to see him, after each visit I sat down in his office and he always asked me if I had any questions. When I was pregnant not only was he amazing to me and answered all my many daily phone calls as often as I needed him, his staff was super professional and provided amazing service as well. At the end when I had a minor complication due to my pregnancy the doctor took extra time to educate himself on my issue and provided extra care to make sure everything went perfectly. I also went into labor on memorial day and took him away from his family which he came immediatly and again spend almost two days with me and provided examplory service. No only has he been my doctor he is also my mothers doctor and my has delivered my cousin. Im know everyones experience is different but I cant imagine trysting another doctor more then I can Dr. Shfrin.

Dr. Shifrin is a knowledgeable and caring doctor. He is sincerely interested in his patients well-being. He always made sure to put me at ease throughout my entire pregnancy. After each office visit, he made sure to sit down with my husband and I to listen to all of our many questions and took time to answer each one in detail (no matter how silly they may have been). He encouraged us to ask questions to make sure that we were comfortable throughout, at times spending as much as 20 – 30 minutes in his office just speaking to us.Dr. Shifrin is extremely passionate about his work and cares about his patients. When I went into labor, he stayed in the hospital the entire time checking on me every 15 – 30 minutes and even provided entertainment through his numerous stories to distract me. Even though he was already at the hospital for over 12 hours with another patient, he stayed through my entire labor making sure that the hospital staff was providing the care he would expect for his patients and controlling the situation if he felt that they werent. Only after speaking to some other people, did I realize how rare it is for a doctor to do this.After many hours of labor, I started getting a fever and Dr. Shifrin recommend a C-section. When he said that a natural birth was no longer safe, I knew that he waited as long as possible and that it was a last resort because he knew how important it was for me to try a natural birth. He explained to me the reasons why it was no longer safe to continue with labor and I knew that my baby and I were in great hands. The C-section went well and as of now (a few weeks later) I can report that the scarring is minimal and the healing is progressing well.I would highly recommend Dr. Shifrin to anyone who is looking for an extremely knowledgeable and caring OBGYN that goes above and beyond for his patients!

From the front desk, to the nurses and Dr. Shifrin, I had a very nice experience. Going to the GYN is never fully pleasant, but Dr. Shifrin and his staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. I don’t recommend this place to anyone, because front desk ladies have 0% responsibility. After getting my lab results called them and everyday was same story “We will leave message to doctor. We will call you back “. But nobody called me. Interesting part is front desk employee wanted review my lab results. For them my result was joke or what? By the way on my first visit front desk lady who wanted review my results through phone wrote my lastname and firstname with mistakes. She wanted review my results when she couldn’t write even name correctly. I was so upset. Because I couldn’t get answer to my question. Now I have to look other medical center. It was wasting my time. Maybe doctors are good.

My mother had a horrible experience; even though we paid 300$ out of our pockets for a single appointment, the diagnosis that was constituted was not right and adequate. His treatment did not work. After that we went to another doctor and now my mother is treated and cured. Be careful, and search for a well-equipped doctor that really cares for your health and knows the basics of a medical field: diagnosis and treatment.

Saw him today on a whim never met him before decided to look up a GYN Dr at the last minute for my insurance plan so I went there today the office is beautiful however the atmosphere is not. The whole staff seems a little racist Anyway NOW on to Dr. Gregory Shifriin, he seems like a nice guy but he was too Rushey Rushey and didnt even answer my questions correctly and the Pap smear he did was a little rushed as well.

I have been coming here for a few years but now that I am trying to conceive I am seeing a problem with this doctor. They do not listen or care that you are TTC instead they brush you off with silly child like sayings. It’s so heart breaking and an insult.

WARNING: DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTORI almost died because of Dr. Shifrin!When I was 19 I got accidentally pregnant and wanted an abortion. After doing research, I decided to go with the medical abortion pill because its a non invasive procedure. My parents took me to Dr. Shifrin because he is an old friend of my fathers from medical school. Dr. Shifrin was extremely rude and inappropriate. He told my parents, in front of me, that they should tie me up to a bed and never let me go outside.He gave me the RU486 pill in an incorrect dosage and sent me home. I took the pill and experienced the abortion. Then what followed was a nightmare. I was walking around for 2 weeks with a fever, my skin turned yellow, I was extremely sick and kept bleeding and bleeding. I went to Dr. Shifrin for a follow up appointment. He told me I was fine and tried to give me ANOTHER dosage of the abortion pill in order to bring on more contractions, saying that the abortion wasnt completely expelled. After I left the office, my mother, thank God for her, told me thats it we are going to another doctor. We went the same day to Dr. Betsy Lantner on Kings Highway. Dr. Lantner admitted me right away and told me I was extremely lucky to have come to her because at that point I had sepsis!! Thats why I had a fever and was turning yellow. She said that in a couple of days I would have died!! We immediately scheduled a cleanup and that same evening I went to the hospital where I had a regular abortion to clean up what was left in my uterus that was causing the sepsis. I was put on 3 different antibiotics through IV and was kept in the hospital for a couple of days. It was an incredibly stressful and scary experience. I was told that had I taken that extra pill that he tried to give me, I would have definitely died!!I tried to call lawyers in order to sue Dr Shifrin for medical malpractice, but was told that because I didnt die or wasnt permanently injured, I didnt have a strong enough case.Basically, Dr Shifrin got away with it.I did a bit of research and found that Dr Shifrin has many malpractice lawsuits running against him at the same time.Ill never have justice for what he did, but at least I can warn others. Karma will get him in the end.

Before coming in for my appointment, Ive read different things about this doctor butnow I can tell you for sure, he is a LIAR!!Just because this doctor can be searched easily, doesnt make him a good practitioner, thats for sure.He is a BUSINESSMAN that knows about PR and hiring a lot of people that will answer the phone, charge your insurance and run your tests saying that they work with professional laboratory.He was DISINTERESTED and distracted (and late!!) and the only time i felt he was engaged in treating his patient when he suggested a coming back plan.He has too much confidence telling patience things without even listening just as if he knows more about me than I do. Maybe he should be taking the medications that he is forcing on patients?Find another doctor if you really care about your health.

Ladies PSA: I would give this doctor a negative 5 if I could. Anyone looking for a respectful ob/gyn please stay away from this guy. He is a arrogant, self righteous nasty man with a unwarranted god complex! (these are my kind words about him)....Lets just say he doesnt like to be questioned about his suggested procedures. According to him if your not a board certified ob/gyn and are not on his medical caliber then your not entitled to question him with concerns about procedures that he suggests to patients who know no better... My mother has been his patient for a pretty nice amount of time, up until today. He suggested that she come have a Hysteroscopy with him to remove a polyp on her uterus. After which he suggested that she have an additional procedure a short time after called an Endometrial Ablation. Now normal I dont get involved in my mothers medical visits however this procedure I felt necessary to do some research on. Now Endometrial Ablation is typically done for woman who have abnormal bleeding and other such symptoms and is should be avoided in woman whom are Post-Menopausal. Red flag #1, My mother is Post-Menopausal so naturally this raised concerns. I politely called his office and requested he call me back to discuss why he was suggesting that particular procedure to her. Which brings me to the follow up, He calls me back 3 hours later fine no issues he is a doctor and busy I totally understand, but his attitude is evident almost immediately into the call, he goes on to insult my intelligence implying that im not on his medical caliber and have no right to question anything he suggests. He carries on to say that unless im a board certified ob/gyn he doesnt have to have any type of professional discussion regarding a procedure. Now at this point im already offended but proceed to again politely ask him to simply explain why he is suggesting this procedure considering it is noted clearly all over the internet easily accessible by anyone not a board certified doctor that this procedure is not recommended for post menopausal women. This time he start getting even nastier and practically shouting on the phone that im accusing him of wrong doing of some sort and that if I want to be a good daughter I should sit in the office with my mother rather than question him, and he proceeds to drop the call on me.What a joke of a doctor. Stay Away!

Excellent, caring, very knowledgeable doctor. Him, along with his colleagues (Dr. Tamila Selitsky) performed a surgery with minimal scars left (left ovarian cyst removed surgically), not to mention that it saved me from its potential turn into ovarian cancer. Highly recommend.

Worst Doctor I ever met. Probably for most pts Gregory has time, but as for me - he hadn’t.I paid $250 dollars for 15 minutes with assistant, answering questions, listed by me in demographics earlier. Then Doctor came in room, without any exam of skin put his fingers in lower female organ, asked me if I feel any pain. Then, he looked up at the screen with the words which I’ll never forget: yeah, you have cysts, but you are alive.You heard that?! I’m alive! Today I took my pictures of sono, printed out on A4 list, all together, with measurements of my ovaries. No conclusion, no impression, nothing. Now I have to pay once more. Now I have to think about some cysts, and I don’t now if they are complex or not - nothing!!!! $250 on the wind, Thank you Doctor!!!Disgusting. Frustrating. Nasty.

Its just awful. Dont go here. Registration for 12 noon on Thursday. To Dr. Mark. At 1:50 they took me into the office. A girl came and took pictures. I waited another hour for the doctor. I couldnt wait. Everything was frozen under the condo. Thats 3 hours of waiting for a doctor! I never saw him! Horror attitude. I called twice to ask for urine tests after taking antibiotics. No one ever called back! After 2 weeks it turned out that they did not send the analysis to the laboratory at all! They offered to come again. Dont go here, dont waste your time! Especially if you are expecting a child. The attitude is terrible

I found out about the diagnosis from insurance papers, when I called to find out why no one told me about this, I heard the answer “we are not sure that you have it, we are putting it in for insurance.”At the appointment, first the doctor says one thing, 5 minutes later another. They prescribe procedures without explaining why they are needed, without first talking about it with the patient. Insurance is completely different! My advice: stay away from this office!
