Where to start, this facility saved my husbands lifeIt’s hard to express my gratitude towards each one of these people you see listed below.❤️I came in to the emergency center on August 11th in a panicMy husband had a heart attack and went into cardiac arrest, he stopped breathing prior to us reaching the emergency room.I ran in and yelled for help and they immediately called 911A bystander who turned out to be a doctor saw i needed help and ran over quickly to help the nurse get him out of the car and onto a gurneyHe was still unconscious, they both acted quickly and started to give him compressions until the paramedics arrived.After 30 minutes or more of compressions and 4 shocks to the heart, he is here and recovering well.It’s extremely difficult to put into words how grateful I am for each one of these individuals that helped revive my husband that day.Without their patience and expertise. Clean facility. Good front desk. Medical staff needs more education on how to handle patients who come in with injuries sustained from domestic violence. They also failed to explain their pricing/billing and care structure effectively, at least in terms simple and direct enough for an injured and distressed patient to understand. The wrapping up of the appointment was also handled very strangely and with lack of communication so I just kind of had to wander out at the end of it. Unfortunately, I’ve been in a lot of hospitals and medical environments and this facility was a stand out in a bad way. Could not get out of there fast enough. I will say it was highly beneficial to be at least looked over by a Dr. to determine if it’s emergent enough that they can’t deny treatment, without charge. The Dr. explained that since I could walk into the facility after my head injury than it was not emergent enough for treatment. He then advised the $1700 treatment which would have included the catscan. I was able to decline w/o having to pay hundreds so that was nice.

Our Dr. Galatians was great even at 1 am. Our nurse Marissa R. ❤️ was a joy and awesome with our teenage. The tech Diane was so helpful and Rachel made coming in very simple. In over 26 years as a mom this was the best ER visit despite the illness and hopefully more people come to this location! We appreciate you all dearly!

Please stay away from them and never go there! I am so upset and sick to my stomach. They charged my wife $13,231 just to meet a doctor and take two x-rays, and my wife didnt get any treatment at all. How could they do that to people?!?! DONT GO THERE!!!!!Get this, please. Just less than 30 minutes out of approximate 3 hours ER visit with the doctor for a simple conversation and palpation on my wife plus x-rays. The rest of the time was waiting for the x-ray results. 30 minutes = $13,121. It only takes 30 minutes to destroy your life and finances! They claim on their website that there are no surprise medical bills. Think again.People, you deserve to know this information - you can file a complaint with the Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) if you believe an emergency clinic has charged you excessively, you can contact them to report concerns about a healthcare facilitys billing practices.Update: They didn’t respond my email about my compliant. Whoever takes care of the billing, they don’t care. Once again, stay away from them!!

I went in with heart palpitations. The staff quickly took me to an exam room and evaluated my condition. I then spoke with a doctor and received more detailed evaluation and consultation. Everyone made me feel welcomed, relaxed and well cared for. Just need to share they do not take Medicare.

Dr. Kelley and Nurse Dee Ann are such amazing providers. They turn every visit into such a warm and safe place. Especially nurse Dee Ann, she should get a daisy award for how much love and support she brings into every room. I truly cannot stress enough how kind she is. If you’re looking for fast and reliable care, Austin Emergency Center is the place to go.

I am Manuel Ventura and very disappointed when we visited the Austin Emergency Center in 10407 Jollyville Rd. Austin TX 78759 at around 6:45am, October 16, 2024 that the duty Doctor, Nurse and assistant were informed us that x-ray machine is out of order. There should be prior notification at the front desk prior to process patient’s information. We were requested to transfer to another Austin Emergency Center in AEC Anderson Mill to take the x-ray of my wife Violeta Ventura. There should be a due diligence of checking all equipments to ensure that all patients must be treated asap. To the Management of AEC to provide your immediate corrective and preventative action in this matter.

11/10 honestly I always (all two times) feel very welcome and comfortable. Every single person that Ive interacted with was helpful and kind. I wish I didn’t have to come in under unfortunate circumstances every time, but so grateful for the service and compassionate response during my visit. I even asked for the name of everyone that helped me so I could leave a review (without being prompted) I’m just that satisfied. Before finding this place I would just suffer, because I loathe going to an ER or hospital period, but never again.Special thanks toDr.Colunga, Nurse DeeAnn, Kody and Lilly. All of y’all were just wonderful

Everyone here was so kind and caring. Dr. Portillo was great as were nurse DeeAnn. Highly recommend. Best ER experience I’ve had.Edited months later: White at this ER I had a CT scan, ultrasound, fluids, and some me round of pain medicine. My bill was $25,000.

Everyone here was very kind and attentive, except for one doctor.Doctor Jordan Farr needs to learn from his colleagues. He seems to have little to no empathy for his patients. Your “physical examination” should not put your patient in excruciating pain. And I know it was excessive because the next day, Dr Kelly was very gentle and much more empathetic with the situation. Not to mention your diagnosis was wrong, but that’s understandable.Overall, he made me very uncomfortable in a place that you should feel safe and listened to.I hope you read this Dr. Farr, and don’t roll your eyes but actually take this constructive feedback and improve yourself.

My husband went for a severe gout attack. They had us taken care of within one hour. The entire team from the front desk, the nursing staff to the doctors are friendly and professional. Highly recommend 💕💕

I just went in to get my stitches removed, and it was a terrible experience, the doctor said I am not healing well (with a laugh on his face) and how its going to be a while and Im going to have a Big scar!I know that, I can see it, Im not dumb,my concern is the healing not the scar,Plus he even scared me even more after I asked how my cut is looking, and he said not so good. When just minutes before the nurse said it was looking good.He then proceeds to say, your stitches were done different in a difficult position its hard to remove them like this because I have to pull them up and then pull to the side in order to cut them basically stating they were done wrong, and then he asks, where did you you get them done?I said here!!!! With another doctor obviously.And then he said nothing.I just wish I had gone somewhere else to begin with. My cut is still open, its hurting from the stitches removal that were done wrong to begin with, and now I feel more concerned than before.Call that a great experienceJust drive a little further and go somewhere else.

My dad had a severe allergic reaction and came to this center. They were so quick and efficient and got everything under control in minutes, all the while putting the family at ease!I never thought I would have this kind of care at an ER. Please come here and be treated like a person instead of going to other places and being treated like numbers or money! Thank you so much Stephanie and Dianne! You saved my dad’s life 🥹🙏

I had gone in because I was coughing up a storm and most places were closed unfortunately at that time. Luckily, I’m a lot better due to Dr. Boehm and had a great and comfortable time. I enjoyed talking to Nurse Marissa and felt that they were really concerned with my well being. Thank you so much!

Dee Ann and rest of staff are amazing! I was very stressed due to my knee injury and in pain. Dee Ann is hilarious and calming, and they all were very attentive and quick acting. Thank you all so much for making me feel so comfortable!

Doctor Galatzan, Sandy, Sammy, and Kelsie were/are incredible. A few months ago when my husband was having seizures late at night, they gave him some of the best quality care I could ever ask for. Completely trusted the whole staff. Now lucky me, I’m here with my own issues and they’ve been quick, attentive, communicative, kind, and respectful. Their job includes seeing people at their worst, and to me I felt completely taken care of and felt at ease the entire time.

I can’t tell you how great everyone was. They went above and beyond what you normally would get from an urgent care. Belinda my nurse was so caring, and the lady with that took my X-rays went out of her way to make sure I was comfortable. Dr Ramsey took his time to make sure I understand everything that was going on with me. I would highly recommend Dr Ramsey and his entire team.

Thank god this emergency center was open when I needed them.I came in with excruciating pain and a very swollen face from a tooth infection on the weekend.The staff were kind and helpful. And the doctor provided me with a shot of local anesthesia to help alleviate my symptoms. He also helped me by prescribing a stronger pain killer to help with the pain until I could see my endodontist on Monday.Thank god they could help me. I would have been very miserable if it wasn’t for this urgent care clinic.

My blood pressure spiked so I came to the Anderson Mill location and was seen immediately. If I could give this place 100 stars I would do it. Dr. Kelley, DeeAnn, Kody and Lilly went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and explained what they were doing to make sure I was well!I am impressed by the level of care and professionalism at this location and would highly recommend them to anyone!

We came in for some possible stitches on my son’s forehead due to a biking accident. Everyone including the The front desk staff was more than wonderful! We were in and out and I feel we received top notch care. Thank you doctor Percy, marissa, Leeann and Michell for your care. Hopefully we don’t have another emergency but we will return in the event of emergency.

OMG if you need to go to ER go here!!! I was treated like a VIP,, as if I owned the place.Nurse Sandy wa so amazing!. She took awesome care of me!! Dr Galatians was so sweet. He made me feel so safe and cared for! He said if things do t get better to come back. Most ERs you’re treated line a number , but here you’re treated like a VIP !!!

Very quick and fast service.My husband met with a small accident while riding his bike -he got a huge cut on his face.Dr Portillo was a very experienced doctor -gave very clean and neat stitches.The whole facility was very clean and without wasting our time in emergency-he was taken care within minutes by the nurse.

Urgent care visit for stitches was expensive!!! Over $600 for a visit for a person that does not have insurance just feels insane, there should be some sliding scale fee or charge based on your income to help with the insane amount, healthcare in the USA its just unreasonable, aside from that Nurse Dee Ann was really nice, she is the only good thing about that place it felt like she was the only one who really showed empathy and like she cared for the patient.5 stars for her!!

I have been here a few times. All the doctors nurses and staff are great. I always come back here.Dr. Kelly and nurse Belinda and Savanna are the best!!! The doctor Kelly is kind and always check every possible reason I am sick or do not feel well. They never make me feel silly or dramatic when I worry about why I feel bad. He’s the best. Belinda once told me sleep deprivation could cuirass panic attacks so I went and got that checked and got sleep help and I no longer have panic attacks. The staff her are all the best.

UPDATE:As many other reviewers have done to update their review once the bill comes, unfortunately, this is the same. On the day of, the service was good and I was told there were a bunch of tests being done so they can figure out what was wrong. Everyone was nice and took care of me. There were no conversations about billing except for a form I signed at the end of the visit allowing someone to speak on my behalf to my insurance so they can confirm that my visit was an emergency and I needed immediate care. My husband asked some questions about the cost but no one really gave direct answers or kind of implied that we can deal with it once they help me get better.I received a call from the billing department but was unable to pick-up. When I called back, no one picked up but I left my name and phone number. I never heard from anyone else and received no other letters for my bill. Theres no portal to check your balance. Theres only an option to pay the bill where you need an amount and invoice number.7 months later, I receive 2 bills with 2 different amount. One for about $160 and the other for over $2000. And its noted that both have been sent to collection already.Im grateful that I have good insurance that allowed me to get the cost discounted from over $20K because my insurance would not allow a hospital visit for that much under the No Surprises Act.Austin ER does have price transparency documents in the form of an excel sheet with over 3000 lines of services and costs. No ones going to read that right before going to an ER. And there is no document like that at the ER itself because that would definitely turn people away if you knew one high severity visit will cost you upward of 7K.I understand that this is a business, and a private business at that. I expected to have to pay out-of-pocket even if it was an emergency. But I shouldve known better from the previous reviews and the lack of price transparency in the ER itself. The doctor and staff dont seem to have much info on it so Im not sure if I can put this on them but it does seem to be a general business practice. I didnt expect to receive 2 different ER bills (one from Austin ER Associates and one from Austin Emergency Center, LLC). And I didnt expect to see so many surprises in the bill, including a charge of $1400 just for inserting an IV (this doesnt include over double that cost for all the medications given through the IV).Its sad that when trying to take care of a health emergency, I have to consider if something like this will put me into debt. I hope that this place is at least able to be more forthcoming about their costs instead of hiding behind smiles. I guess it is a business at the end of the day.-------------Came in feeling very sick and was immediately taken care of! From Savannah at admissions to the nurse and radiology tech Dee Ann and Lee Ann, I couldnt have had a better experience. Dr. Darhower made me feel comfortable and it didnt feel rushed at all. I left feeling so much better and appreciate the care they provided.

Dr Percy was very nice and helpful. Nurse Marissa was very gentle and nurturing. Radiology tech was very good in making sure I was comfortable. Admissions rep Michelle answered all my questions very effectively.

Very expensive for hardly any care at all. One is going in with serious pains nd instead of notifying before one is signing a load of papers we arent able to refer you to a hospital from here (as it is obviouse one needs URGENT CARE) they make you waist A LOT OF TIME nd take VERY LONG in the process even if your the only one in. Went to a hospital right after as I got dismissed with just medication nd recomendations of general surgeons as its obviouse I will need surgery. Was not satisfied with anything but the nice nurse who attended me during my stay. Checked my bill after nd it was WAYYY MORE EXPENSIVE to go to this place nd do nothing than to the hospital. Seriously, all they did for me was have me sit in the room, take my blood, wait for their ultrasound lady, come in nd out to talk to me briefly, made me wait nd then got released with meds. Was there for more than 2hrs nd the wait was waaaay longer than what they did for me the time I was retained their. Never returning nd NEVER RECOMMENDING THIS PLACE. Everyone needs to get their emergency on in there nd know that if the patient obviously needs a hospital let them know before taking them in if you feel you need URGENT CARE its best if you head to the hospital cause we can only do so much here it doesnt take a lot to speak nd for words youre able to save the $20,000 for the real emergency care.

Dr. Percy was to the point and made things easy to understand. Marissa was the sweetest and made me feel a lot better in a stressful situation. Prionti got our information quickly and we were able to be seen immediately.

I recently experienced hives while at work and this clinic was the closest to me. Wow, they went above and beyond to help me get better and feel comfortable. They would check in on me constantly and inform me about my condition/medication. Thank you to Dr. Portillo, Nurse Dee Ann, Tech Joyce, and Savanna for their professionalism, dedication, and overall amazing work!

Austin Emergencys always been great—prompt service, friendly medical staff, attentive care. Theyve helped me out more times than Ive needed. As a warning, they can be expensive since they were out if network with insurance, but at this point, thats more a knock on how mediocre my insurance turned out to be for the cost. I appreciate that theyve been there when Ive needed urgent care.

The team here are amazing! They got me in quickly for a fractured foot and took great care of my every need. Will definitely recommend them to anyone who needs emergency care!

I do not remember their names 😭 but the nurses who work between 3:00am-6:00am were so sweet and nice!! We literally just got home a few minutes ago (today is 9/17) and they were so friendly and professional with my boyfriend and I. Thank you guys, you are awesome!

Best Emergency Room experience by far ( I have a chronic illness so i’m in the hospital a lot ) didn’t have to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen. Had a CT scan, Ultrasound, and labs all in one visit and was prescribed antibiotics, then had a follow up check in call the next day . Amazing experience go here instead of the regular ER

Worst medical care I’ve ever received. I woke up in the middle of the night, feeling my throat closing up and barely able to breathe. Upon my arrival, reception ignored the level of my distress and misled me by withholding information regarding the cost of my visit, not bothering to explain paperwork regarding insurance coverage. Though it feels financially predatory, I’d chalk it up to laziness. I received even more grating levels of dismissiveness from Dr. Teresa Boehm’s poor and patronizing bedside manner, who lectured me as I was gasping for air, telling me I was “fine” while completely rushing past my distress in the moment and details I was trying to supply from the events of the evening. She blatantly denied to my face that I was struggling to breathe, tossing out a litany of explanations that ignored aspects of my medical history I was trying to share. I was diagnosed with a “sore throat”, slapped with a $900 bill and sent on my way. Since then, I suspect that I was having a severe seasonal allergic reaction, because I’ve moved here from out of state and was adjusting to Texas’ spring. But no actual counsel or aide was provided at this Care Center. What’s more, is their post care online survey is so short and minimal, it leaves hardly any room for detailed feedback, leading me to believe there’s no authentic desire to improve. All that to say, I can’t recommend the Anderson Mill location because of my negative experience with the staff. You’d think in an Emergency Room, at the very least, you’d experience empathy and a clear intent to helpsoothe patients. If unlike me, in midst of panic for your physical safety, you have the wherewithal to do even a tiny amount of research and find a different ER, do so.

Dr. Kelley was very thorough and wonderful with my son when we went in for a wrist injury. The nurses and X-ray technicians made sure we had everything we needed. They were quick to help. If you’re in need of care, I would definitely recommend this crew.

Terrible. Visited for a cut, when visited they said they accept my insurance, afterwards they couldn’t bill my insurance company and put the bill on me! Ok fine. But they put me on Catagory 3 urgent level for a cut that’s only 4 stitches ! So they can end up foot me the bill for $1150 also I told them I did have the immunization vaccine but they gave one to me anyways. And I tried multiple times to negotiate the category, they basically told me the bill will stand ! Don’t use them !

Where has Austin Emergency Center been all my life? 😂Relatively new the Austin TX area, I was very surprised to find I had an Emergency Center right in my neighborhood. A few years ago I went to the ER for kidney stones, this was a few years ago before relocating to Austin. That experience was find but the wait was long, in fact I ended up being seen by the Doctor on call on a bed in the hallway because no beds were available.Fast forward 2 years and the kidney stones flared up again but this time Austin Emergency Center took great care of me! Doctor Emily Edwards and her staff (Nurse Marissa R.), (Radiology Tech Sammy), and Admin Rep. Rachel were amazing. They all were so professional and quick. I was literally in a room and my vitals being taken before finishing the paperwork.I had no idea it was possible to have an emergency room visit that took less then 4 hours but Austin Emergency Center treated me and had me home in half the time and I got my own room.These people are fantastic.@austinemergencycenter thanks for everything!!

I had the best experience at Austin Emergency Center thank you to Dr.Boeh M, Nurse Sandy, Radiology tech Sammy and Admissions rep Kelsie. The staff was very kind and helpful made me feel very comfortable during my visit.

I love the nurses there they were very friendly and helpful and the doctor LaTashia Irving was amazing she worked real well with me and make sure I wasn’t in any pain before I left she took her time with me

Amazing staff that really consider what their patients might feel. They DID NOT force any IV or unnecessary medication on me, instead they talked about possible treatments and leave the decision to the patient. Dr. Farr is not only experienced but also a wholesome human being. All the nurses and staff members were professional and supportive. Their smiles truly helped me to fight my illness! 100% recommend this ER!

Great experience. Came in with a broken wrist. They saw me very quickly. Dr Aslam, nurse DeeAnn and tech LeeAnn were all very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable.

Visited in the middle of the night for flu-like symptoms and received immediate care from intake, nurses, and the doctor. Testing was quick and easy, along with results, and was able to leave with an action plan in less than an hour. Highly recommend this location if you need to be urgently seen.

I very,very seldom seek medical attention,however after almost slicing my finger to the bone, I decided I better go to the nearest emergency clinic at 183 & Anderson Mill. The nursing staff,Dee Ann and Lee Ann, and the doctor onsite, Dr. Doliher, were very upbeat, positive, and knowledgeable. I was kept informed of every step of the process including a thorough recap after the stitching procedure. A great experience for someone who normally avoids seeking medical attention. These guys were great!

UPDATE: I have returned to this location for the 2nd time. Seen within 10 minutes and treated with dignity. The doctor listened to my concerns and immediately took action to address those concerns.I went to AEC for tachycardia and minor chest pain. The second I walked in i was quickly greeted by Jayda who was working the front desk. Jayda was very quick and efficient at helping me setup at the front. Before Jayda could even finish though, RN Stephanie came out to ask me some additional questions about my complaints. Stephanie was also very nice and efficient. After answering a few questions Stephanie took me to the back where she and Diane helped me get hooked up to the EKG machine. At this point I want to say it had been within 4 minutes of my arrival. They quickly yet efficiently got all the tests and information necessary to get Dr Farr involved. Once Stephanie and Diane was finished, Dr Farr came in and informed me of my EKG results. He spoke with me about my symptoms and came up with a plan to try ruling out any possibilities of blood clots or other issues.As someone who works in healthcare I cant stress enough how great this visit was. Jayda, Stephanie, Diane, and Dr Farr worked very well together as a cohesive unit. Due to their awesome teamwork and great communication I was able to be seen VERY quickly and had my concerns met before I could even take a seat in the lobby. These staff members are absolutely awesome and I wish I came across healthcare workers like these more often. They are very hard to come by.I will strongly recommend this ER to anyone who needs quick and expertise care. If im ever needing to go to the ER again, I truly hope these 4 staff members are working.

I had an excellent experience at the ER. The nurse Marissa was attentive, professional, and compassionate. The wait time was reasonable, and the facilities were clean and modern. They made a stressful situation much easier. Highly recommend this ER.

Dee Ann was our amazing nurse who eased my husband as we saw them for treatment. He typically has issues with blood draws (5 or more attempts) and bruising and they expertly got him on their first try. Staff was friendly, quick and helpful. Only concern was the generator went on for 30 min and off while we visited which was a bit of a surprise as the lights and machines all turned off…

Dec Ann and the Doctor was amazing. The whole entire staff was nice and to the point. I don’t like to be in Dctors offices/Urgent Cares/Emergency rooms long because the paperwork is tedious and usually everything takes a long time. This staff had me in and out as quickly and professionally as possible. I was greeted immediately and was given paper work that was prepped and ready to go. I was almost immediately taken to a room and before I knew it I was heading out. I never leave reviews but they did such an amazing job I HAD to take the time to submit a review. I don’t who’s paying these ladies but they need a raise and bonuses. Thank you ladies🙏🏾

I came in for kidney stones and the entire team was super helpful. No waiting around, they admitted me in pretty quickly and took care of me. The nurse Dee Ann and Dr Kelley walked me through everything and helped me feel better. I’m very happy with the care i received and would recommend for emergencies.

Received a very quick service which was great. I went in for a bite on my foot and the doctor could not diagnose it but provided me a lotion and medicine which helped. I would recommend this location from a services perspective.However, I would not from a financial standpoint if you have a high deductible insurance. The cost for simply walking into the ER was above $2000 - very costly/expensive to me. Thank you to the billing team for working with me on this huge bill for a 15 min visit (most of which I was sitting and waiting for the doctor)

Editing now after 5 months… this place is a total scam ! Came in with my son with ear infection and was charged $3000 and additional $600 for physician. Stay away !!!!!!Well all is good until you ask a basic question such as “ how much does the visit costs”. They bounce you from one caregiver to the other and the physician was so unhappy with the question she said no one ever asked this before, like she is even insulted, make a patronising face and left. It is Like you can’t make a decision based off of the cost whether it is worth waiting for the morning.Now I went back and read the reviews and I understand why they are so enigmatic about the cost. It is a scam.Nextcare btw would give you a ballpark.

The staff was all wonderful and got us in and out very quickly. A Very thorough examination was performed and Dr. Lobdell was able to answer all of our questions. Marissa R was the nurse and she was great.

The doctors and nurses were incredibly friendly and made me feel well taken care of throughout my visit. They were attentive, listened to my concerns, and provided clear explanations. At this wonderful place, Rachel, the receptionist, promptly took my information and assisted me as soon as I arrived. I was in severe pain from a kidney stone, but I received exceptional care immediately. Nurse Sandy provided attentive care throughout the night, and Dr. McReynolds patiently explained all the reports and gave me thorough instructions for post-discharge care. Sammy was incredibly kind and cautious during my CT scan. This is undoubtedly the go-to emergency care facility.

Currently here for work from North Carolina and had to make unexpected trip to the Emergency Center. Could not have had a more caring and dedicated team. These guys and gals took the time to really listen and understand what was going on and gathered a care plan making a painful trip in, to a pleasant trip out. Thank yall for your patience and support with everything.

I was having a major (at least from my POV) of vertigo with nausea, which I have never had. From the beginning to end, everyone was kind and caring. The desk staff, nurses, techs and doctor were very attentive and thorough from blood work to EKG to ensure it was nothing more sinister. The team was great! Thank you!

This visit was amazing. Dr. Singh has a fantastic presence, Sandy is an amazing nurse, and Sammy is my favorite radiology/X-ray tech of all time. UPDATE: I am still thankful for the care I received here at this location. But I just received a bill for $28,000. This is more than an actual hospital bill. I am in complete and udder shock. CT was $16,000 itself, and I was charged $300-$400 for multiple medications that I DID NOT receive, and in fact refused. I am really upset.I am so thankful I found this emergency room. I walked in having some very uncomfortable chest/abdominal pressure and walked out smiling and laughing.Dee Ann, my nurse was attentive, funny, and made sure I was taken care of. I was terrified to get an IV and bloodwork, but she distracted me and was so careful with my veins. I had very little pain and was treated with a warm blanket to help me adjust to the cold saline. She checked on me often and shared some funny stories with me as well. She is seriously so funny!!! When discharge time came around she told me if I needed anything I could call and talk to her, as well as she would call me tomorrow to check in with me. That is hard to find kind of care nowadays. She was the best!Dr. Boehm was attentive, listened to every concern I had, ran all the tests needed, and was so kind to me the whole time. She updated me often, and explained every new finding. After we got results she went through every detail, and answered about a million questions I had for her, all with a smile. She was a wonderful doctor that I’d happily see again.Last but not least my favorite person, Lee Ann. She is the CT Scan operator. Lee Ann came to get me to take me to the CT room, she wheeled me there, made sure I was completely comfortable, and walked me through everything that was going to happen. I was very nervous about the contrast since I had never had one before, and she explained everything in detail and didn’t leave my side until I was calm and comfortable. After the first round of scans I told her I had anxiety and she could relate. She gave me the most comforting words, and hope. After we were all done she wheeled me back to my room, gave me a pillow, turned a lamp on, and turned the lights off to get me all comfortable while I waited for my results. She even showed me a new song that I love!! Thank you Lee Ann, for helping not only my physical state, but my soul and mental state. She is an absolute Angel.

The staff is really friendly and attentive. There was no attempt to dismiss my wife’s pain and really took the time to ask the right questions for a quick and accurate diagnosis. They made her feel really comfortable through the whole process.

Great service. Fast and Friendly. I went in on 10/4 for a hurt shoulder and was seen almost instantly. I did go at a good time, with only one person in the lobby , however Ive been in that situation before and it still took a while at other places. Dr. Darhower was awesome and kind. She explained everything in laymans terms for me. The staff, from the front desk to the nurses were very helpful as well. Im horrible with names but my nurse was extremely knowledgeable and friendly (and good looking!) I should stop there!Thanks for the great care.Mike

My wife had a dental emergency that caused us to visit a dentist. The dentist advised there was an infection that required immediate antibiotics via IV. We walked in to this Austin Emergency Center on Anderson Mill and were seen immediately. The entire staff including the Doctor and nurses were friendly and knowledgeable. Since we had an extended stay for observation and treatment, they provided lunch delivered by Favor. I hope we don’t have to go to an emergency room ever again but if I do this will be the place. Doctor Portillo, Belinda, Kody, and Lilly work together well. I will be recommending this place to friends and families near me if they have to get emergency care. Not sure how billing works but I will update the review if we run into issue with insurance, no payment was due at the time of service.

The nurse, doctor and receptionist are very good. Timely service was received. No complaints on that aspect.However, I would not suggest going here if the situation is low emergency. The charges are exorbitant. They are much much higher then an Hospital ER. Unfortunately, the billing enquiry team was least helpful in providing a valid explanation to it. Their prices are not at all transparent. Very disappointed with the customer service in terms of billing.

I came in with back pain and was greeted, with a smile, immediately by Dee Ann. Thereafter; she became my nurse and had some of the best bedside manner I have ever experienced. It is not fun to visit an emergency facility, but when you have to, this location is the place to go. Youll be in great hands!

From the receptionist to the nursing staff and the attending physician, everyone impressed me as professional and friendly. I was in and out with a prescription for medicine in about 40 minutes.

I went in with severe low back pain having a hard time walking. The staff was very attentive and brought out a wheelchair to my car to wheel me in. Dr. Campbell and the nurse, Belinda, were very knowledgeable and quickly got me feeling better with a variation of injections and pills. The front desk staff were very nice and friendly, they took care of my wife and kids while they were waiting for me, they gave them snacks, drinks and toys. I highly recommend this Emergency Center.

I’ve generally been a healthy person most of my life. After a work related back injury I was sent here, any other place wasn’t an option. I’m glad I was sent here because the staff are wonderful. They understood what I needed and they are extremely good at what they do. Any emergency health needs, look no further.

I was so scared going in and immediately they comforted me and were so welcoming. Took amazing care of me distracted me from my pain. Made me laugh for the first time in days. Super on top of things .Even though they made me feel better by just caring and enquiring, Dr. Lobdell didnt just POP into the room for 60 seconds and race to the next patient, like some patient MILL.He spent the time talking with me about what was going on with me even giving advice (referral) about another issue Im having.These people are the best most helpful professionals Ive dealt with. Dr Boehm stitched me up yesterday after i slipped with a knife and gave myself one heck of a deep cut. As a doctor of 30 years and an ER trauma surgeon of 10, she is a true master of her craft. 15 stitches on the inside and outside of my leg, deep enough that i got dizzy when i looked at it. Stitches are beautifully done, though and i expect there will hardly be much scarring, if any, when it fully heals. She was extremely careful to numb me up so i felt absolutely nothing, and shes a great conversationalist so when i started panicking a little, that definitely helped calm my nerves a bit. Nurse Dee Ann, Suzanne with admissions and Kody with radiology were all fantastic as well. Everybody here is great at keeping the mood light when you have a hole in you that needs closing. The whole ifacility is filled to the brim with excellent staff who are absolutely worthy of being trusted with your life. 11/10

I am a super anxious person when it comes to medical procedures. Came to AEC purely because it was the closest location with a CT machine - and I so lucked out! The team here was so kind and understandingShout out to Dr. McReynolds, nurse DeeAnn, Kody in radiology and Lilly in admissions for making me feel so comfortable when I was initially so freaked out before coming in.I would highly recommend this location for anyone needing emergency services.

Dr Doliner, nurses Kimbra and Rachel and the front desk people were all very knowledgeable and kind. They got me better quickly. Ver grateful for their excellent care. I would go back 100-%

The Anderson Mill location is always clean, friendly and fast. Dr. Kelley and his staff, Belinda, Kody and Lilly were kind and caring when I came in. My regular doctor was out of town and staff here made it easy to get quick care.

Dr Lobdell, nurse Marissa and both techs, Joyce and Lauren were really great! And it was a positive experience for a not so fun health thing.

The doctor and nurses were nice , but the woman who billed me was extremely rude and I felt discriminated against, she kept asking me and if I had a handicap permit and kept denying it (which I did have one) and also had such an arrogant attitude

Great experience! Went in thinking it was just a bladder infection and they caught kidney stones. So thankful to the lovely staff at 7 in the morning! Dr. Edwards, Dr. Emily, and their team ( Marissa, Joyce, and Savanna) were so informative and quick to get me in and assessed.

This practice is a joke. The doctor we saw barely even spoke to us. He was literally in and out of the room in 5 seconds. The worst don’t go. No answers

Dr Gill and staff Marissa, Julie, and Jada were extremely helpful throughout my visit. I was passing my first kidney stone and it was very painful but everyone treated this with a sense of urgency. This is a great team and I truly appreciate all the help.

My 9 year old son had a fever and chills. Everyone here was friendly and efficient. The office was clean and inviting. We had a wait time of under 5min. What an amazing ER staff at this location. Ive never been so pleased with care and kindness of an Emergency Room. Starting with the Admission Rep. Ms. Savanna, she was so kind and welcoming. As well to all the Tech. Staff, Nurse Belinda and Doctors that took care of me.The following day Ive received a text message to see if I had any questions or concerns regarding my injury. And later on in the week I a get well card in the mail.Again, cant say enough great things about my experience at this location.

Despite needing an ER visit due to a laceration on my hand, i had a lovely time at the hospital. Both the nurse, and ER tech were fantastic with their bedside manner, efficiency, and accuracy! Dee Ann, and Lee Ann deserve a special shoutout for their care and wits today!!I felt like i was in good hands from the moment i walked in. The front desk was personable and quickly got me to a room, the doctor was quick with the sutures, and every one on the floor did their best to keep spirits up and work moving along! Hopefully, after i return to get the sutures removed, i wont be back anytime soon, but if i were to get injured in the area again, i would choose this clinic without a doubt.

I never had issues with this location until 10/13/2023. I came to this location because my past experience here was great, but unfortunately when I arrived I was denied to see a doctor by the front desk. I was having bad chest pain, the whole left side of my arm was hurting and was having difficulty breathing due to my asthma. The lady at the front desk told me that I had to pay my co-payment first. I asked her can I be billed because I did not feel well at all in that moment. She said no out loud in front of other patients in the lobby and told me “ they like to make sure the co-payment is paid first” ( her exact words). At that time I did not have my card with me cause I rushed there. She then proceeded to say out loud again “ I would have to see what they say, but can you pay something now”. I ended up telling her I will go somewhere else. She said “ok, I’ll just shred your paperwork unless you want to take them”. I immediately walked out after that last comment by her because I was trying to control my breathing and was in too much pain. I am praying and hoping this is fixed and no else goes through this.

Visited this location on May 15th, 2023 with concerns about food poisoning / Appendicitis. This was the most friendly and accommodating staff I’ve ever dealt with at any medical facility! They ensured I was comfortable and completely taken care of, every step of the way. After my CT scan, they frequently checked in on me until the results were ready. I was in and out in no time. Would recommend this location 10/10 times for emergency medical needs. A++!

Dr. Rogers and nurse Stephanie really took care of me in September 2022. I felt absolutely horrible. They took such good care of me. They really listened to my concerns and took me seriously and treated me without making me feel like a number and without judgment. I felt like a new person when I walked out a couple of hours later; very quick attention. They also treated my fiancé with kindness and respect through the entire process. I highly recommend them for any urgent care needs. The whole staff was amazing. Thank you.

The entire overnight and morning staff were fantastic. I was super ill and left feeling like a completely different person! The private room w a bathroom and enough room for my hubby made the experience less stressful for me. Kudos Belinda!

Dr. Kelley and the rest of the staff are great. I didn’t have to spend hours there and they were very attentive. I felt as if I was genuinely cared for and my health and well being was important to them. They are very polite, and professional. I loved that I didn’t feel like just another patient. It was my first time, yet they made me feel like I’d been coming there for years!

The staff here are phenomenal and made me feel comfortable after a very rough week of illness. Nurse Sandy and Rad Tech Sammy were so kindhearted and made sure I felt heard and cared for during my visit. Dr. Ou was very personable and thorough in explaining my treatments.I cant thank you all enough for getting me back to baseline!

I have no idea how this facility has such high ratings. These people are incompetent. My wife went in for a ruptured ear drum and they pretty much told her they couldnt diagnose anything because they didnt have a microscope... Truth is they just didnt care.They prolonged our appointment for no reason. Most likely to get more from our insurance. They showed no care or concern for her and the only helpful thing they did was prescribe antibiotics. Every other part of the visit was awful. This is also not our first bad experience here. Bunch of hacks who just want money, youll never get the care you need here. My wife left in tears, so much pain, and they basically just pushed her out the door once they got what they needed for insuranceThere are so many places to go around here for medical care that we will be using moving forward. Dont buy into the bogus reviews, these people are complete garbage.

I went in with chest pains, dizziness, and nausea. The whole experience was great. Savannah was warm and welcoming upon intake. She never made me feel like just another patient. My Radiology Tech LeeAnn is an awesome all around technician. Im terrified of needles and despite my spiking anxiety and fear, she made getting blood drawn easier. Nurse Molly was such an energetic and calming presence to have around. I know that sounds weird, but her positivity and calmness was very refreshing. Both Lee Ann and Molly checked in frequently, and I hardly noticed having blood drawn and fluids injected into me thanks both Molly and Lee Annes professionalism, bedside manner, and expertise. Both women were on their A-game and so so so knowledgeable.My doctor was Dr. Van Roekel. His knowledge and his ability to explain what was (and wasnt) going on was easy to understand for me. His bedside manner was calming and confident. He took time to really ask questions and did what he could to further understand the situation. He was very professional, in command (in a confident and calm way), and kind. Anyway, I know Im ranting but I cant say enough good things about my experience at Austin Emergency Center North West. I never felt like a statistic or just a patient. Thank you.

Amazing staff! 11/10 I went in with concern over my internal organs and if something was on the brink of blowing up. Everyone showed so much positivity and care and they genuinely want to help. I have never been so impressed by a medical staff. Belinda, my nurse, was easy to talk to and helped me leave feeling much more comfortable. Jessica and Brittany were amazing techs and so sweet. My doctor Anaya listened with genuine empathy and understanding and gave me what I need now and with a good followup plan to continue diagnosis elsewhere.If Im in a car accident, take me to this ER!!!

Absolutely love Austin Emergency Room. I’ve had so many bad experiences with hospitals and emergency medicine as a whole. Had to go to AEC twice in the last couple of months. One for my husband having appendicitis and today for severe allergic reaction that I was having. They were very quick and started care before fully checking in/ signing paperwork. Loved the way they treated my loved one and myself. I am also a hard stick when it comes to needles and have never had someone get it on the first try. If you want fast/ excellent healthcare this is the place. Wonderful healthcare team. Thank you Dee Ann, Lee Ann, Kelley, and Lilly! Will come here every time.

Dont make the mistake of going to a crowded hospital ER if you can go here. All the staff are friendly and take time to listen and address any concerns. I was seen very quickly, and they made me feel like I was in the best hands. Ill never go anywhere else as long as I live in the area.

Belinda and Dr Kelley were wonderful. They made me feel very comfortable and they took my situation seriously. Little to no wait time and all around they provided top tier service.

The moment I walked in it was amazing, they didn’t make me feel bad for visiting, and they were very understanding of what I came for. Entire staff was, and is always very friendly, courteous and helpful. In within 10. Out within 45min. Dr was receptive to the info I provided concerning previous treatment. No questioning, no Xrays... got to the point and effectively improved my condition within the usual time with this treatment. Thank you to I believe Dr Gills and the nurse who previously had helped with same condition. Very efficiently ran operation with undeniably effective care and treatment. Thank you all again. This a great place to go to! 24/7 and never any wait. Staff was amazing! Nurse Dee Ann was very friendly, knowledgeable and you could tell she was passionate about patient care. Dr Roland was great as well, explained everything in detail and answered any question I had. Thanks to admin rep Brittany as well who was able to get me to the back in under 5 mins!

Amazing people, very kind attention and assistance! Savanna - Admissions Rep. -greeted us when I came in for a severe reaction to bee stings. She was empathetic and attentive with getting me in quickly.LeeAnn - the Lab Tech - made sure I was comfortable, all my vitals were taken, and my paperwork complete.Marissa - my nurse - made sure she had all the details regarding my allergic condition as well as detail of the injuries sustained.The doctor, Dr. Marsillo, was thorough, empathetic and confident. She & Marissa outlined the state of my situation and it’s severity. She detailed the prescriptions to be taken and their purpose. She asked we return if the condition worsened.Although you would like to not have urgent medical care, if one does, I highly recommend this facility. Absolute effectiveness, professionalism and kind assistance throughout!

Great care providers. Very thorough with all testing. Nurse sandy and Diane took me in quickly and I was able to see doctor Nash who was very thorough in his evaluation. I was able to get results quickly and figure out what was going on and get the proper treatment. Highly recommend.

I was in a car accident went to here, i saw doctor portillo he was amazing and very knowledgeable. This place is clean fast and everyone is SUPER NICE. my nurse deeann was so funny and friendly. When I took my xray the tech kody was gentle and showed me so much Compassion. When I walked in I was greeted by kelsie front desk person she was so Professional and help me with all the paperwork. I will definitely be coming back again if I have any other problems. Best part they take 3 party billing too.

Came here a few months ago and the nurses, Belinda and Sandy, were amazing and very caring. Dr. Kelly was outstanding and made sure I understood my plan of care and everything that was going on. LeeAnn and Diane were very kind and made sure I was comfortable. Kelsie and Rachel greeted me with a smile and hopes of getting well soon. I came with virus like symptoms Kody was phenomenal and hilarious. Laughter is the best medicine. She also checked on me several times n gave great insight.

All of the staff was amazing here. I want to thank Dr. Gill, nurse Marissa, Joyce, and Jessica for helping me. I was NOT feeling well and they took the best care of me, more than I had imagined. I really appreciate all of their hard work!

Came in tonight due to a car accident and was immediately seen. Sandy K was incredibly nice the entire time. She came to check in on me multiple times during my visit and made sure I was comfortable in every way possible. It was a great experience at this location especially since service at most emergency rooms aren’t the best.

Doctor Farr and Nurse DeeAnn were amazing they did a good job at destructing me from them pain i was in and kept me in good spirits even though i was freaking out inside! Amazing service from everyone there, they were so nice! I recommend going here for any emergency!

Top notch care at this ER. We are from out of town and had to take our 7 year old in. Brittany greeted us upon arrival and was helpful in getting us back almost immediately. Stephanie and Diane were very compassionate and attentive. Dr Hopkins was knowledgeable and explained everything well. They all took great care of our son, and made us feel like the only patients there. Highly recommend!

The team was fantastic- brought me in right away, took great care of while I was in, and fixed me up expertly and efficiently. Every single person on the team was kind and patient- Dr Emily, Sandy, Sammy and Brittany. I felt absolutely at ease and confident in the medical care I received.

Came in with severe neck and back pain, and after hours of sitting with an IV in my arm, they couldnt diagnose what had happened. They kept insisting on multiple X-rays, an MRI and a saline solution IV when that wasnt needed. They kept insisting that I needed the IV even after I refused 3 times, as if my consent meant nothing. Dont go here for affordable care. They charged me $2000 for this useless visit.Buyer beware, apparently this place has a history of up charging their patients.

Was in quickly, all the staff were wonderful, constantly checking to make sure I had everything I needed, and I was able to see the doctor within minutes.

I don’t like the reception girl and the nurse there was disrespectful because I had a problem with my insurance and they did not give me any chance to fix it and it took just a minute in my car to fix my problem and I choice do not back and they will never see me that again

Extremely caring individuals! Everyone did their best to make me feel comfortable and cared about. I was never left wondering about the status of any of my results. My doctor made sure I knew what was going on at all times, and my nurse was absolutely wonderful. I also got a big sense of companionship, not competition, when the nurses worked around each other. Definitely a huge recommendation!!!

I had a very positive experience here last weekend. Sandy, Lisa, Kelsie, and Dr. Anaya were on staff and they were all so helpful. I would recommend anyone living in the area go here.

I went to Austin Emergency Center today, 10/14. The staff were amazing! My care team included Dr. Kelley, my nurse Dee Ann, Rad tech Julie, admissions rep Kelsie and ER tech Emily. Everyone made me feel welcome, safe and cared about. Dee Ann and I had some great girl talk and I felt like I was talking to a good friend. Thank you for making a visit to the ER a great experience! How many people can say that???

I didn’t have an appointment and was seen immediately. The staff were super friendly and helpful. I received great care and my health issue was addressed promptly.

Went in due too severe back pain. Wait was about 2 minutes, they were so caring and made sure I was comfortable. The nurses were great, they had me laughing even though I was in pain. Gave me a warm blanket and pillow under my legs to keep me as comfy as I could get at the time. Doctor was very kind and explained everything to me. I left there feeling so much better they really took care of me. Everyone was great from the receptionist warm greeting, to the funny and caring nurses, and the fantastic doctor.

I’m really impressed with the quality of care and attentiveness of the staff. I would highly recommend this facility for any ER related needs. Unfortunately, I have visited many emergency rooms over my lifetime and have received the full spectrum of care: OK to bad to worse to third-world. This place outshines the rest and is worth going out-of-network if you have the luxury/privilege of OON benefits. Absolutely stellar care with phenomenal staff. They took their time with me and made sure I was absolutely well enough to leave safely and drive home. It was a fifteen hour stay but with the right healthcare providers what is usually an ER nightmare was a pleasant and non-traumatic experience. Modern and clean building with all the works except operating rooms (they transfer you if you need surgery). Thank you especially to Belinda, Kody, and Dr. Hopkins! Healthcare rockstars!

I have utilized this location 5-6 times in several years. Always for something more urgent than a minute clinic or my PCP. I cannot say enough good about the staff facility the process and the treatment I have received. The staff is always very professional very kind very caring they take their time they listen to you and they offer great sound advice. I also liked it I can call them and they will give me some information over the phone as to whether I need to go ahead and go to my primary. In this last year and a half with Covid I have had to go a few times to be tested and I’ve also gone once when I was not feeling well again the process was easy it was calming. I love this type of service. Is a great alternative to free up our emergency rooms in hospitals for more urgent care but still get to the type of care needed in an emergency situation. Keep up the good work guys and gals!

Treated my father very professionally and fairly. Once they understood he doesn’t have an insurance as a tourist they did their best to provide him with a great service and didn’t charge us at all.

Belinda was so professional as well as kind. Jessica made the process easy as she explained the process to me. Very patient. Brittany was also so personable and kind. Made me feel at ease. Savannah was very helpful with my insurance. Went above and beyond. Dr Anaya was so courteous and advised me of his findings and gave me instruction. Gave me an opportunity to ask any questions. This was the finest ER I’ve been to in a long time.

God forbid, if anyone needs urgent medical attention, this is the place to be!

We were not expecting such personalized care from a place such as this (medical facility), but were pleasantly surprised!The ladies working in her were professional, jovial and thorough. Most medical interactions with the professionals out there these days are less than enjoyable, to be sure. In fact,, most doctors and nurses look down their noses at you and dont treat you like an equal. We were promised responses within about 48 hours, but received them in 24.Highly recommended!

I had a very negative experience at this medical facility and WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. I went to the facility because I was experiencing sharp and abnormal pain that I suspected might be an ectopic pregnancy. Upon arrival, I presented my BCBS insurance card to the front desk staff and asked if they accepted it. I was informed that they did, and I was then seen by a doctor who ordered some bloodwork.Unfortunately, it later became apparent that the facility was not in my insurance network and charged me an excessive amount for the services I received. My insurance company only agreed to pay an in-network level charge of $400, but I was sent a bill for $3440. This unexpected and unreasonable charge has caused me significant financial stress. After argue with them, the bill is still more than $2500. It’s still way beyond the amount I am able to pay.Overall, I would strongly caution others to carefully confirm the facilitys network status and potential costs prior to receiving any services here. BE CAREFUL! It seems like they are not in any insurance network!

Misdiagnosed my severe abdominal pain as an STD (yes you heard that right). Deemed it non life threatening and charged me $650. 18 hrs later I was in the hospital having my colon removed. It ended up being diverticulitis Nearly resulted in me losing my life. Now they don’t want to own up to the mistake and won’t even refund me my $650. Won’t return my calls. Office manager “on vacation”. Will be pursing legal action. Avoid this facility at all costs. I almost lost my life because of my decision to come here

This place was absolutely amazing, great bed side manner, they were fast and efficient and overall very friendly too.

Cut my arm open. Stopped in for some help and was well taken care of. Dr. Dorhower, DeeAnn, LeeAnn, and Savannah we on top of everything and with a smile. Great team! In and out in about an hour.

This was my first time at an ER for myself and I cant believe Im saying this, but I couldnt have had a better experience. I had the most excellent nurse (Bonnie?) and doctor (Arturo). Bonnie had the warmest bedside manner and made sure I had everything I need and requested for, such as water and a warm blanket when I was shivering from chills. They explained everything calmly and in way that I could understand, despite initially being in a frantic and anxious state. I really appreciated the upbeat and casual convos sprinkled throughout as it served as a much welcome distraction. Within the hour I felt leaps and bounds better and I honestly really wish I happened to live closer so that I could have that peace of mind knowing that I have this place to rely on. For an emergency center things were quite calm and organized. Bonnie called to check up on me a few days later and to also tell me of my lab results and I really appreciated that. Not only did I leave feeling like a new, healthy person, I left with a lot of good resources, information, and a better feeling about these kinds of centers that I was so intimidated by.

I went here to ask if I had a medication overdose and luckily met the nurse Stephanie. She is an amazing staff. She listened to all my concerns very patiently and responded me clearly with a very caring attitude. I went home peacefully with a clear mind.

Walked in and spoke to Amanda about my broken toe. Was seen to immediately. Fantastic care and genuine concern. I am NOT a fan of needles. Really appreciate nurse Sandy for holding my hand through that. Doctor Hopkins was very kind and gentle with my broken bone. As well as the radiology tech Sammy. If I happen to find myself in a similar situation in the future, I 100% plan to come here again for the right care.
