AFC Urgent Care Lower Macungie

The young lady in reception was very sweet and kind! She acknowledged us right away, even with the short line in front of us, and made sure she took care of us promptly when it was our turn. Loved her hello Kitty nails too! She provided us with a link to register, which wasn’t too hard, and then we were seen promptly by the medical staff! Great place to go if you need urgent care!

I was just there May 08, 2024. I had a fantastic experience from start to finish! The women at the front desk were very friendly and courteous to me. The nurse practitioner, Courtney, I thought was incredibly helpful. We had a very interactive conversation, and she listened very carefully as we discussed some options. She really had a genuine care and concern for my situation. You don’t see that anymore in these type of environments. Also, the place was very clean! This was one of the best medical visits I’ve had in years.

I had a great experience at this urgent care. Nurse Practitioner Alex provided exceptional care and made me feel comfortable throughout my visit. The environment was clean and welcoming, and the entire staff was kind and professional. Highly recommend!

This clinic was very professional, quick,and well knowledgeable. The NP Moore was on point with his diagnosis and I felt better after 2 days. Im glad to have stopped and would use them 1st again in the future. Location is very convenient!

My second visit was yesterday, almost 2 years to the day of the first.Both times I had excellent care, I should say excellent advice, and both times I was in and out very quickly and at a fraction of the cost of going to the emergency room.The fact that they are not hospital owned is huge an added benefit.Thank you, I’ll definitely use you next time!

The receptionist was so friendly and the Physcian Assistant I saw listened and gave me the antibiotics that I’ve been needing. I’ve been trying to fight off my cold naturally for the past 4 months and every doctor I’ve seen has not listened to me.Thank You for helping and listening to me and I’ll be a return patient when needed!

Had an appointment scheduled for 11am. Got there about 20 min early and they made me fill out things i already filled out prior to coming. Its currently 11:18am and i still have not been taken back. Luckily i shouldnt have to ever come back here however 10/10 do not recommend.

Ive had multiple great experiences at AFC. Today, I saw Dr. Braun and he was wonderful! Very empathetic, thorough in explanation and very prompt. Highly recommend.

Amazing staff at this location. Unfortunately my family had 2 separate incidences that landed us here twice in a week. Both times we were treated quickly and the nurse practioner who treated us was very kind and patient. He even went above and beyond to get me into a highly rated specialist the same day. This will be our go to for emergency care if my regular physician is unavailable.

Highly recommend this urgent care! Everyone is very nice and helpful. I’ve never felt more taken care of before! If you’re sick or need anything else I highly suggest this place!

AFC has online appointment reservations. I have visited twice for different issues and was seen within 5 minutes both times. The staff is competent and thorough. The doctors and nurse practitioners ask a lot of questions and make sure you understand the prescribed treatments. Really good for urgent care. I’ll continue to use them.

Everyone was so friendly, courteous and nice. I felt welcomed from the very start. My provider Alex was very knowledgeable, kind and professional. I felt like I was in great hands being taken care of by him. Noone likes going to doctors when they are sick, and I was reluctant to do so until i couldn’t anymore. Thank you afc, I already feel much better.

First Urgent care visit after primary care doctor had a week wait for sick visit. Will definitely return in future if needed.

They were prompt with helping me and making sure every test that was needed was done to figure out what was wrong. Didn’t have to wait around long for each step which mad process a lot smoother for me. Entirely staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Dr Braun was amazing. He addressed all of my concerns and was very thorough explaining everything with detail. Wish he could be my family physician. Highly recommended if you need Urgent Care.

This is a wonderful doctors office. I just recently moved to the area and was nervous to look for a new office to go to. The staff is wonderful and so friendly. I felt very welcomed. The doctors are helpful and really take the time to listen to your needs. A added bonus is that they have cold water bottles and hot coffee + TVs in all the rooms to keep you entertained while waiting. Overall I am really happy I decided to come here and have these people looking after me and my health.

Our family loves going here when our regular provider is not available.The receptonists are very friendly and I just love seeing Alex the provider. He is very thorough and he really cares about his patients. Id give this practice 100 stars if I could.

They did not listen. Blood pressure cuff was put on upside down. I was told I had a cold when I was coughing up green infection junk. Refused to give me an antibiotic for an obvious infection. Still sick a week later. Dismissive. Arrogant. Inept. No thank you to Outback Urgent Care.

They were so quick to see me and everyone was so friendly. The nurse practitioner was very kind and experienced in minimizing pain during my suture closing. Totally recommend this urgent care.

One of the best Urgent Cares that I have ever been to. It was an easy process to reach them via phone and get basic answers. Plus, their front desk *Courtney * is so friendly and efficient as soon as you walk in the front door. They have a lovely waiting room that’s both spacious and comfortable. The doctor and techs there are all wonderful. Definitely recommend coming here.

Daughter went in with a sprained ankle. Was given crutches. Tried them for a day, didn’t work out. So I called them back, and they were really nice about it and gave her a boot to use. She hates doctors, but doesn’t mind going there. And hardly any wait time to get in.

10 stars hands down, best pricing for out of pocket if your aren’t going through insurance, they see you right away. Actually prescribe you things to help alleviate symptoms. Lots of places I’ve been to haven’t been nearly as good with prescribing the right stuff to help. They see you right away. Never had a problem.

Extremely quick and efficient when I first got to the client. I was also seen in about 15 minutes from arriving. I received the proper care and would go back to this location again!

I am soo glad for AFC because I just started feeling pain a couple days ago for an unknown reason, and Alex and the rest of the staff were able to immediately examine and talk with me, take a number of x-rays, obtain feedback from the readings, and talk with me about the results! They also provide me with written information and a disk with copies of the x-rays that I can readily share with a surgeon!! I think all of this took no more than an hr, if even that!! By comparison, if I had gone to the hospital emergency room, the total time could have been 2 - 7 hrs, depending! And if I tried to schedule an appointment with my PCP and then a specialist, that would probably span multiple days! I know for the sake of healing, its important to get things done ASAP, and AFC serves that purpose! And I will add that all 3 of the staff members with whom I met were excellent and amicable! Great experience, I am so glad I went so they could properly take care of me. Thank God I went when I did. My whole family trusts this practice for their urgent care needs. The doctor I saw was absolutely amazing.

They got my DOT medical exam done so fast. I was in and out of there in 30mins and that included that long medical history questionnaire you always have to fill out.Would recommend.

I love this office!! the staff and doctors are caring and thorough. shoutout to alexander morris he is the best! he was absolutely wonderful every time i’ve been there. he explains everything so well, asks questions and goes over things i wouldn’t think to bring up to ensure everything is covered. if i could make this place my primary care office i would (although i am also very happy with my pcp as well) 😊 thank you for bei bff such great people. it shows when you are actually dedicated to your profession, and i appreciate that.

I have never had a better experience with a primary care or urgent care physician. I came into the office in significant pain, and the entire staff, including the physician was concerned, compassionate, and took their time with me. The offer the option to reserve a spot ahead of time online with little to no wait. I will not use another urgent care after coming here.

Went in on a Sunday morning, was taken care of right away. Staff was very professional, answered my questions, sent a follow up email. Hope I never need to visit an urgent care center again, but if I do, I’ll head straight for this one!

Won’t treat or examine you without getting a covid test first but yet they’ll charge the copay. Didn’t even ask for a strep test too. Avoid this place, waste of time and money.

My 7 year old daughter was up all night with flu like symptoms and screaming from the ear pain. At about 3am I made an appointment for 8:30am at this location. I show up (on time) and I am greeted by a sign advising there’s no one to see me at the moment. The sign ask for me to wait. The odd thing is that I had an 8:30 appointment, wouldnt they have made a note of that and made sure that someone was waiting for me. Along with my appointment I submitted all of our information, including insurance. At about 8:45 am someone emerges from the back, I advise them have an appointment for 8:30am. They ask me to wait a few minutes in order to give them a chance to set up. At about 9am I was advised that they couldnt verify my insurance because sometimes on Sundays their system doesn’t work, so if I wanted my daughter to be seen I would have to pay out of pocket and then contact management in order to get a refund if/when my insurance went through. I have no idea how this company operates billing but this is just awful. Along with my insurance card, they also had a copy of license, my home address and social security number. If I genuinely provided them with a fake insurance card, they could be other ways to seek money from me. Denying services to sick children because your system doesn’t always operate correctly on Sundays is unreasonable. I left the place and visited a could of other urgent care centers and by that point they all had 2-3 hour wait. I don’t recommend this place, because you are unsure you will actually receive care.

Just went to this facility for respiratory infection. Facility was immaculate with care prompt and professional. A pleasant experience I would recommend to all.

My primary doctor is semi-retired and it seems that my husband and I always get sick when he’s not in the office. We’ve come here several times. It’s a very clean office and the staff, assistants and doctors are always very pleasant, personable and professional. We always get in and out of there pretty quickly!

10 for sure. Friday night before closing but I was only one to enter, so no wait. Check in girl very friendly and courteous. Girl who took blood pressure and initial notes friendly as well. Courtney was very knowledgeable and attentive to my issues. I had neck and shoulder pain for one issue. She checked it out said muscle really tight and gave script to help pain. I also had a large reddened sore that looked like cellulitis. In her inspecting it she mentioned it looked like some ring possibility so could be Lyme. She prescribed doxycyclin to help with it. I had been to an urgent care 4 days before while on vacation in Rhode Island and was on bactrim but the sore was enlarging a bit so we stopped here on our way home. Even though it was close to their end of day she took the time to ask questions, give options and advice. Very great example of professionalism and bedside manners.

I had to change my review after this horrible facility accepted my medicaid insurance, then 9 months after my service, contacted me that my insurance wasnt accepted. Results: myself, an impoverished 60 year old man, now has my bills with this clinic in collections, and my credit is destroyed! Hope this petty and inconsiderate facility goes out of business!!!

This place is fantastic. Walked me through every step of the process. Heard my concerns And how I had been feeling. Asked me questions about family history that I didn’t even think to mention. Sent me for bloodwork And found answers that other doctors couldn’t! Very thankful!

This is my second experience at this facility and I gave my experience five stars. The service is fast and thorough. I am an RN so I am a tough audience. I have sent friends and neighbors to this facility and they always got excellent care.

They were so patient with me while shaving my legs for my drug test. I enjoyed the moment watching them sweating and never show any lack of interest. I really appreciate that!For the first time, in a simple physical test a physician checked every single part of my body to make sure I am ok. She acted professionally.

The staff saw me immediately. I needed an Uber to return home, my phone had no charge, they charged my phone. Also, helped me see my phone to arrange my ride home. Staff was extremely helpful, Id recommend this facility in a heartbeat!!!

The doctor treated me horrible , rushed me out my doctor’s note had my personal information the reason I was there with all my prescriptions on it. I left in tears I’m never going back there again.

After many dismissive doctors at other doctor offices, I finally came here & met with Alexander (Alex) Morris and he’s been a great help & wonderful doctor to work with. The nurses are fantastic too! Highly recommend this location. I’m not one to leave reviews but I’m so impressed with the care & level of empathy here that I had to! Five stars for sure.

I arrived exactly when they opened, completed my paperwork, and was then made to wait at least 30 minutes in the wait room. There was no one ahead of me. The physician was very nice, but I’m not sure I’d come back if I have to wait that long for absolutely no reason.

I think about going to places that offer their professional services (like getting a haircut) hit or miss on getting an appointment. When I called with a cough that was getting painful, I was surprised that they told me to come right in. Change of insurance went smoothly, check in nurses were friendly, I was seen almost immediately. My NP quickly diagnosed what I needed and called in my prescription. CVS delivered as well. Feel so much better today!!

I had a bad experience years ago so was hesitant to go this time. My family doc was booked till later in the week so I took a chance. So glad i did. Jeremy at the front desk was very thorough and did not treat you like a number. Tenisha, who did my vitals was sweet, personal, and just really cared! Dr. Braun is awesome! I never had a doc who tried to put me at ease with humor. It was truly a delight plus he likes to get to know you as a person. Very refreshing. We know ourselves better than anyone else and it is nice to have a doc to listen on how we are feeling so you want a doc who listens and not treat you like a number contact jeremy and he will tell you his hours. Staff here is great - friendly, helpful, compassionate and caring, professional. They take the time to get to the bottom of an issue and plan the best course of treatment. I’ve received excellent care for emergent injuries or illness.

I am not one that goes to the doctor all the time bc I rarely get sick. I decided to come here bc I read the reviews and I was hoping would be good. The front desk guy was awesome bc he spoke clearly of what to expect and I even heard he spoke Spanish very well. The nurse was very sweet, and the doctor asked a lot of questions and took her time to examine me and then to treat me. I have to say they all did a great job.

Wonderful urgent care, I called to get a same day appt for an emergency. I’m in between jobs right now, so I don’t have health insurance, they knew the prices I would have to pay out of pocket and were able to help me get treated quickly and effectively. The MD I saw today was fantastic. He was knowledgeable, took the time to explain my illness and the medications and what to do. He also did a thorough examination. He was nice and pleasant. I didnt wait long at all to be seen. I wish this DOCTOR was there all the time. Having a actual doctor at an urgent care is wonderful and reassuring! Best experience yet!!! If I could give him 10 stars I would. He didnt rush me out and explained everything in great detail.

Everyone is very friendly from the receptionist to the provider. I had Alex. Our family just loves him. He really cares about his patients. When you call the office, you receive a call back in minutes, not days. Its our go to place in case of an emergency. Highly recommend!

My son has asthma and was experiencing a flare up. I took him to the urgent care and the customer service and attentiveness to his needs were amazing. He was seen in a timely manner taking into consideration other patients that needed to be seen as well. We haven’t experienced these symptoms prior to that day so it was great to see how in depth the doctors instructions were for how we should move forward once he left and what may have been the cause. What I appreciated the most was that his needs weren’t pushed off because he has a pre existing diagnosis. They actually listened and were polite. After the visit we did receive a courtesy call to check on how he was doing. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone.

I made an online “appointment” , arrived ahead of time. Waited 10 minutes and was brought back to have my vitals done. All was going well but then I just sat for 40 minutes in a little room by myself waiting to then be informed that they had no doctor. I was asked to leave and that they would call me. I had a terrible case of pinkeye in both eyes and could barely see. I asked how long and they couldn’t give me any time so I went to a different express care and was seen and helped right away. I hope my money will be refunded 😞 very disappointing and wasted so much of my time.

Best urgent care in the area! Honestly, they are better than my PCP and the ER dept at LVHN.

Courtney, NP, was fantastic. Listened to me, did a thorough assessment, and provided medications at a local pharmacy quickly. Very impressed.

**UPDATE**I was called by the manager shortly after this incident and was refunded my money. She listened intently to my experience, apologized profusely and reassured me that changes would be made to improve their care. After having spoken to her, I would definitely return and give them another shot.***Couple of good experiences here but also couple of terrible ones. One was bad enough to warrant the 1 star.1st time here I had an issue with my toe. I was misdiagnosed and given antibiotics that I didnt need and didnt help. Ended up going to a podiatrist and got the issue resolved.The most recent visit was with my 3 year old. She had a bubble bath the night prior and was having terrible pain and discomfort peeing. She refused to go. The staff requested she pee in a cup, which is fine and routine. She refused, we tried anyway. She screamed relentlessly. Went to the exam room, doctor comes in with a cup and I jokingly say she wont pee, but if you can convince her... and with an attitude he plops the cup down next to her, without even acknowledging her, and says thats mom and dads job, I have more important things to do and leaves.... Cool. Desperate to help our child who is in EXCRUCIATING PAIN, we plead with her for an hour in their bathroom, my arm in their vomit smelling toilet with the cup to collect her pee. Its to the point where the nurse knocks on the door and tells us we can come back later with the pee. We dont give up. She finally goes and they test it. No UTI. The doctor smugly comes back (he does apologize to us for going through all that) and slowly reads the results just to then half shrug and say if it persists go to a specialist. Gives us a copy of the results and sends us on our way. No examination. No advice. No potential remedies.THE BEST PART is that my kid then holds her pee for the next >12ish hours (through the rest of the day and then overnight) and ends up with a UTI anyway. 👍 Not their fault but super frustrating.The nurse practioner is great. When my daughter was sick he listened to our concerns and examined her. Id give him 5 stars. Their doctor (dont remember his name, Grey hair) is an apathetic jerk. Will not go here again.

This place is EXTREMELY professional and clean. I came in experiencing extreme allergy symptoms and the doctor knew exactly what medicines to give me. The guy behind the front desk is extremely knowledgeable and a great communicator, and I saw him wiping down surfaces after another patient entered the lobby with exposed wounds (so theyre very clean and take patient safety seriously). Highly recommend this place!

Very impressed. My first time here. Had a great experience, from making my initial appointment over the phone, right through the actual doctors visit, and check out. Everybody was friendly, helpful, Courteous , and professional. I would highly recommend this facility to anybody.

Very impressed with this practice. The front desk staff were friendly and professional. All fees were explained up front before any services were performed. Even though we were only there for a physical, the doctor spent time with us reviewing important health information for adolescents. Highly recommend.

We booked the 8:15 am time slot (or our spot on the wait list). We arrived at 8:10 and were in the car to head home at 8:40. Compared to our prior Urgent Care wait time at another facility, I would highly recommend this one. We were the only ones there when we arrived and they were quick with our care. They also open at 8 am, an hour earlier on a Saturday than the other local Urgent Care facility we used before.

My prior experiences at urgent cares haven’t been the most pleasant but I must say this one surpassed my expectations. I was impressed with the way I was greeted by staff and most importantly the wait time. The staff eagerly inquired about my needs and ways they were able to assist. I left feeling acknowledged rather than just a mere day to day patient. I no longer have to search for an urgent care where patient care is always paramount. I will definitely return without hesitation.

I was very pleased withe care I received at the Lower Macungie Urgent Care. The registration was straight forward and efficient, and I was taken back to be treated in a few minutes. I had a deep cut on the palm of my had that the PA agreed would be difficult to stay closed because of the location on my dominate hand. He started to stitch it closed, but felt that the tread gage was too thick and asked if I minded if he tried a smaller gage. We agreed to try it and he was happier with how the wound closed up. I appreciated that he wanted to take the time to get the best result. He was very professional and respectful and explained everything he was going to do before he did it. I would recommend the Lower Macungie site to anyone. Thanks for the great care.

I never write reviews but this place was so great to me yesterday, I just had to! Best urgent care I’ve been to, I’ll go here from here on out. Registration online was simple, easy. Fast service, surprisingly no wait lines (and it was 3pm on a Tuesday). I wasn’t even there for 2 hours, plus had an X-ray, that would’ve been equivalent to 4-6 hours in ER. Staff was really great, nice and actually considerate which is hard to find these days. Facilities were clean, organized. I’m only mad I didn’t find this place sooner!

Opened at 8 even after the snow storm. My 5 year old needed to be seen. Front desk, nurse and Dr were all super courteous, friendly and professional. I would highly recommend.

Whenever I need any medical help, AFC urgent care of Downingtown is the first place that comes to my mind. Getting same day appointments are easy and if paperwork is done online then minimal wait time. It has been great experience with doctors who carefully evaluate and suggest appropriate treatment.

Great doctors and staff, even took the time to follow up with me after my visit. It is unfortunate that the practice prohibits their doctors from writing certain medications, but also completely understandable given the current epidemic in our country. Would definitely recommend for urgent care situations.

Excellent service. Great online appointment system to minimize waiting. Walked in and literally no wait, very clean, and seen by a knowledgeable doctor. They even called me ahead of time to tell me their x-ray tech wasn’t in and asked if I still wanted to keep my appointment. Overall would go back if I ever needed to see someone quickly for an emergency and would recommend to others.

Ive been to this Urgent Care a few times now for various ailments and each time I was seen promptly and received high quality attention and care. If you need a place for urgent care, I would recommend this location.

My doctor was very friendly and helpful but the male receptionist was not. He seemed to get very impatient when I didn’t have my insurance card on me and I felt like I was bothering him when I had questions.

My visit was very good . I checked in to a clean atmosphere. The front desk person was kind and professional. I saw a PA who was very knowledgeable. I left well informed and a plan of care that took care of my medical issue

I waked in with severe flu-like symptoms with stuffy nose, coughing, aches and raspy breathing from fluid in my lungs and was quickly diagnosed with a bacterial infection in my throat and lungs. The doctor on site gave me the best combination of medication not the typical protocol which is already working and has eliminated my symptoms by treating the cause of my bronchitis and fluid in my lungs. He gave me holistically centered medical advice as well to support the pharmaceutical drugs. I’m already feeling much better after 2 days after struggling with this bacterial infection for over a month. Thanks so much AFC.

Timely communication, can do everything digitally and easy to get to!

I took my daughter for the ear pain that she was having, we were in the area and my insurance said it was in network. We waited an hour to be told that I had to pay a $150 dollar deductible for her to be seen only cash or card. While I know this can be policy at some urgent cares, I would have appreciated the notice about this when we walked in for the appointment, not after waiting an hour. I went down the street to Patient First and my daughter was seen and discharged within 15 minutes of getting there. I was told right away that it was a $40 co-pay that will be charged to my card in 10 days. I wont suggest AFC to anyone needing Urgent Care.

The medical assistant was very personable and did an extremely good job at drawing blood for tests. The doctor who attended to me seemed truly concerned about my well-being and was also personable.Your staff is friendly and efficient. The wait was much better than most medical offices. Keep up the good work. 👍🏾

Warm and friendly staff, especially the front desk and doctor! I am never comfortable in a medical setting, but here I felt listened to, and sympathized with. Far superior to the Patient First where the doctor mocked me to my face and then with her co-workers when she left my room. This AFC is by far more professional and caring. If you are looking for urgent care, give this place a try! :)

I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I have been to this urgent care a few times and had a great experience. The staff are all friendly and attentive. The physician who helped me was very nice and didn’t make me feelrushed during the visit. The office was vey clean as well.

Today was my 1st time here for ear infection. From check in thru whole process I had a great experience! NP who took care of me was VERY personable & funny! I was in/out in less than a hour also.I highly recommend & would come back if need be.

The nurse practitioner went above and beyond in determining what I had wrong with me. He completed a series of tests. He explained every step of the way. He followed up with a phone call. I highly recommend him!

I like the fact that I could see someone quickly. Every one at this facility was very helpful.I was given instructions and needed a sling for my arm. I was instructed to follow up with an Orthapaedic Dr at OAA which I did today. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star was because my Dr. at OAA said I shouldn’t have been wearing a sling. I should have just used my arm as best I could withstanding the pain. Now I am free of the sling! I will go for PT till I regain the full strength in my left shoulder.

Great urgent care!I needed a work physical and TB test ASAP. I couldn’t get into my primary care so I called AFC Urgent. They immediately told me what I needed to do for my TB test and took me within 10 minutes for both the physical and TB.

Very friendly staff! The ladies at the front desk were very patient as i had issues with my phone and payment and the nurse i saw was very clear with instructions and side affects of the medication and also super friendly! Much nicer than any other urgent care Ive been to in the area!

Everyone at AFC was professional, knowledgeable,  caring, empathetic, courteous and respectful.  Everything was explained to me in great detail, and I was encouraged to ask any questions if I didnt understand anything, or if I had any questions at all.  I just moved into the area over Memorial Day weekend, and am SO happy that I found AFC Urgent care. They should all be commended for a job well done.  Just a quick note: I am a retired RN, and felt very secure knowing that I was being well taken care of!

Dr was very thorough, thoughtful and great bed side manner.Unfortunately, they ran out of vivid tests and did not have any in reserve.If you think you might have vivid I recommend you call first to make sure they have test.

If there were 10 stars you would deserve it!! Came in 5/13/22 with a nasty wasp bite on my left index finger. Whole hand was swollen big time. From check-in (Justin) to MA (sorry I don’t remember your name) to the two clinical people I was treated with a lot of compassion. Never felt like a number X. Was impressed by the thoroughness and just plain caring!! The meds given worked wonders and I am so grateful!! Thank you thank you again!! I love this urgent care when I got there everyone was very polite. I didnt wait long at all. This is the kind of customer care that is needed in all urgent care places. Also its very clean and well organized.

I took my son for check up since he had covid symptoms and the staff did a great job making him feel comfortable and taken cared of. Both the front desk and the nurse practitioner where really friendly and cared about providing all necessary information

I have been to AFC a few times and I have to say it hasn’t always been the best experience. I believe a lot depends on the provider you get. However, every time me and my family have been seen by Alex we have received the care we deserve. Thank you for being so thorough and for listening.

Dr. Braun and the staff at AFC Urgent Care are great. The admin and nursing staff are welcoming, friendly and efficient, and Dr. Braun is beyond thorough! He actually listened to what my childs symptoms were, evaluated him, and then diagnosed, without putting his symptoms into a computer first to get a possible diagnosis!

I had a great experience at this urgent care. Staff is super friendly and tentative! Lobby was super clean, with many hand sanitizers stations, as well as cloth mask. When I arrived I was seen by the doctor right away ! I had a lengthy list of things I needed and they handled it amazingly and professionally. I recommend this urgent care over any of the ones I’ve been to prior.

Horrible! Had EKG done like twice, I honestly don’t think the girl was doing it knew how, so two times? She gets doctor in if he is truly a doctor not sure? He stated I need to go to hospital by Ambulance because the EKG’s were bad….I was so upset and that brought on a massive anxiety attack as well… The ambulance crew ran EKG and they were like it seems fine???in hospital for hours lots of bloodwork, X-ray, heart monitor and heart photo’s ….sent home they said that the EKG wires weren’t connected right! Wow! I thought I was having a heart attack, they had me so scared! I’m sorry I will never return to this facility again! And I’m sure now on top of all this will incur ambulances fee! Not fair they should pay ambulance fee, they stated it wasn’t safe for my husband to drive me in car…. Where and how do they hire ones that aren’t capable??? I wish Corporate would look into this so this never happens again!! I will never go back there!!!

I am a very harsh critic since I work in medicine myself and I will tell you this place was perfect from the first step in the door the waiting room is clean quiet soft music the lady behind the desk was exceptionally polite not real loud very efficient the room they took is into with the triage person very efficient and kind the nurse practitioner that we saw was also very efficient kind and conservative not medicine happy not rude in any way I do not often leave a good review for medicine because medicine in the Lehigh Valley is crazy but this place is an absolute pleasure I would go back I would recommend it to my own patients and my own personal family

From the moment we stepped into your office we were treated so nicely by everyone. We were a thousand miles from home and our son started getting a terrible earache. We are so grateful we found you online and you were available to help him. He is doing much better and we are once again enjoying our road trip! For those who rated a one star, they must have had confused it with a different urgent care! The practitioner I had was thorough with my examination and he answered all my questions completely. The type of professionalism and knowledge he displayed was easily five stars alone. If anyone in the area is seeking optimal care, visit AFC. They will not disappoint.

My husband and I just found AFC and could not be more happier with the care we received here. I was extremely hesitant about going to an “urgent care” as I’ve always left dissatisfied however after visiting AFC Urgent Care, I’m highly considering switching my PCP to this practice. I chose AFC after a Google search as I was desperate and it was a Sunday. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile from both women at the front desk - Liz and Peggy. Within minutes of speaking to both women, any hesitation and uncertainty I had about Urgent Care vanished. The bedside manner, if you will, at just check-in alone goes unmatched. These women were kind, patient, and knowledgeable. It’s obvious Liz and Peggy value their jobs, as well as their patients, & are true professionals - they are an asset to AFC Urgent Care and certainly the perfect example of hospitality.I didn’t wait longer than ten minutes - which I might add, gave me time to look around the waiting room, and notice it was immaculate!My visit was with Dr. Alex who I noticed before going back seemed to have a wonderful relationship with both ladies - thanking them after a request. That’s not something I’ve seen often in the medical field. Dr. Alex greeted me with a warm smile and a handshake (is there something in the air here?! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly!). After vitals, Dr. Alex let me speak without interruption and truly took in everything I said regarding the reason for my visit. Most importantly, Dr. Alex gave me options after I expressed a concern with a medicine I have taken in the past. It is evident Dr. Alex takes pride in his work with a bedside manner that, without a doubt, goes unmatched.AFC Urgent Care - thanks to Peggy, Liz, and Dr. Alex, you have certainly gained a new patient. The phone team was very pleasant and courteous. I felt like the doctor really took his time to listen to my concerns on the TeleMed call and was able to get me in on the same day for a rapid Covid test which I was very grateful for. The technician that performed the rapid test was very knowledgeable and gentle. I was relieved that he didnt have to poke me in the brain. You guys have been amazing and I will definitely recommend you to all of my friends and family.

This is an amazing urgent Care/ primary care! Ive always hesitated to use an urgent Care as my primary care but I couldnt be happier with their service! The doctors and CRNPs are very thorough and found issues that my other doctors never did. They have a great friendly staff and have always been quick but thorough.

Everything went smoothly. Everyone was very pleasant. Hardly any wait time. If you have a life threatening emergency you should go to the ER at the Hospital, but if you cant wait for your doctor this place always works for me.

Shows hours to 8:00pm. Simple urine test after 5:00 just secretary have to come back next day. Maybe it should be a lollipop stand.

Went there with my son. It was my first time and last for sure. Very pushy for tests that did not make sense to me. I went to check if he had strep, my son tested negative but then he ( nurse practitioner) let’s test for some virus, he couldn’t explain it to me why we needed to do it, so he was like go to your phone and Google it. He wanted to prescribe antibiotics even if the strep was negative. There were many red flags. Then they make you feel like you are a terrible parent because you reject these tests. I went next morning to our pediatrician and she said lots of fluid and control fever. So, that urgent care is no go to me for sure!

The staff at AFC are friendly, fast, and answer any and all questions you have. They give you clear follow up instructions. Very short wait times. I have gone for myself but have also taken clients who are under the weather. Marcie at the front desk was a pleasure during our last visit!

Very efficient operation. Never waited more than 10-15 minutes both after filling out forms or at each test location. Both the doctor and assistants were very attentive and concerned with my care. The doctor was very concerned about possible complications and had additional testing ordered on- site as well as prescribing an inhaler for potential future issues.
